Ruling of Scholar of Today's Times - Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen - Kayfa Nu'aalij Waaqi'unaa al-Aleem - Page 119

Question: What is the ruling regarding acts of jihaad by means of suicide, such as attaching explosives to a car and storming the enemy, whereby he knows without a doubt that he shall die as a result of this action?

Response: Indeed, my opinion is that he is regarded as one who has killed himself (committed suicide), and as a result he shall be punished in Hell, for that which is authenticated on the authority of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam).

[((Indeed, whoever (intentionally) kills himself, then certainly he will be punished in the Fire of Hell, wherein he shall dwell forever)), [Bukhaaree (5778) and Muslim (109 and 110)]].

However, one who is ignorant and does not know, and assumes his action was good and pleasing to Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala), then we hope Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) forgives him for that which he did out of (ignorant) ijtihaad, even though I do not find any excuse for him in the present day. This is because this type of suicide is well known and widespread amongst the people, so it is upon the person to ask the people of knowledge (scholars) regarding it, until the right guidance for him is differentiated from the error.

And from that which is surprising, is that these people kill themselves despite Allaah having fordbidden this, as He (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) says:

{And do not kill yourselves. Surely, Allaah is Most Merciful to you}, [Soorah an-Nisaa., Aayah 29].

And many amongst them do not desire anything except revenge of the enemy, by whatever means, be it halaal or haraam. So they only want to satisfy their thirst for revenge.

We ask Allaah to bless us with foresight in His Deen and action(s) which please Him, indeed He is all Powerful over all things.

Hadith - Muslim #6485

Hammam b. Munabbih said: Abu Huraira narrated to us ahadith from Allah's Messenger and out of these one is that Allah's Messenger said: none amongst you should make a request for death, and do not call for it before it comes, for when any of you dies, he ceases (to do good) deeds and the life of a believer is not prolonged but for goodness.

Hadith - Muslim #6480

Anas (b. Malik) reported Allah's Messenger as saying: None of you should make a request for death because of the trouble in which he is involved, but if there is no other help to it, then say: O Allah, keep me alive as long as there is goodness in life for me and bring death to me when there is goodness in death for me.

Hadith - Al-Tirmidhi #1613, Narrated Jabin ibn Abdullah [Ahmad transmitted it.]

Allah's Messenger said, "Do not wish for death, for the terror of the place whence one looks down is severe. It is part of a man's happiness that his life should be long and Allah Who is Great and Glorious, should supply him with repentance."

Hadith - Qudsi 28

There was amongst those before you a man who had a wound. He was in [such] anguish that he took a knife and made with it a cut in his hand, and the blood did not cease to flow till he died. Allah the Almighty said: My servant has himself forestalled Me; I have forbidden him Paradise.

The Noble Qur'an - An-Nisa 4:29

, And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you.

Hadith - Bukhari 2:445, Narrated Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak

The Prophet said, "Whoever intentionally swears falsely by a religion other than Islam, then he is what he has said, (e.g. if he says, 'If such thing is not true then I am a Jew,' he is really a Jew). And whoever commits suicide with piece of iron will be punished with the same piece of iron in the Hell Fire." Narrated Jundab the Prophet said, "A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him."

Hadith - Bukhari 7:576, Narrated Qais bin Abi Hazim, see also Bukhari 8:361, 438

We went to pay a visit to Khabbab (who was sick) and he had been branded (cauterized) at seven places in his body. He said, "Our companions who died (during the lifetime of the Prophet ) left (this world) without having their rewards reduced through enjoying the pleasures of this life, but we have got (so much) wealth that we find no way to spend it except on the construction of buildings. Had the Prophet not forbidden us to wish for death, I would have wished for it." We visited him for the second time while he was building a wall. He said, -A Muslim is rewarded (in the Hereafter) for whatever he spends except for something that he spends on building."

Hadith - Bukhari 7:670, Narrated Abu Huraira

The Prophet said, "Whoever purposely throws himself from a mountain and kills himself, will be in the (Hell) Fire falling down into it and abiding therein perpetually forever; and whoever drinks poison and kills himself with it, he will be carrying his poison in his hand and drinking it in the (Hell) Fire wherein he will abide eternally forever; and whoever kills himself with an iron weapon, will be carrying that weapon in his hand and stabbing his abdomen with it in the (Hell) Fire wherein he will abide eternally forever."

SUICIDAL BOMBINGS ARE AN ACT OF WAR **AND** SUICIDE and therefore haram (prohibited) since suicide (INTENTIONALLY KILLING ONESELF) is such a terrible sin with terrible consequences.

In addition, such Muslims are completely unaware of the ayat (proof) against killing women and children. Ignorance is so sad. And any haram act by any Muslim anywhere, hurts the Muslim ummah as a whole.

Hadith - Al-Muwatta 21.9 (Similar proofs in 21.8, 21.10, and 21.11)
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw the corpse of a woman who had been slain in one of the raids, and he disapproved of it and forbade the killing of women and children.
Of course if any woman or child is shooting directly at you, it is permissible to act in self-defense to an immediate situation, but (unarmed) women and children cannot be an intentional target during war or any such attacks. And of course, Islam does not support women in military, but it does permit an individual woman to pick up a weapon to use in self-defense if a specific situation dictates that. The general intent is to shield women and children from the brutal fatalities of a war front altogether and to place the responsibility on the men in society to protect them.

*see http://muttaqun.com/kuf.html for a list of what disqualifies a person from being Muslim despite their claim to be Muslim, keeping in mind that Allah is the only One who knows the true status of any person as a believer or disbeliever and Allah alone knows who will enter paradise or hell. Muslims are at all different levels of faith, some committing many sins, some very little, and this should be recognized. The Muslims are one nation, a nation that must punish its own, according to the law of Quran and Sunnah, and that must pray for one another in Muslim unity.

Suicide
According to Quran and Sunnah

The confusion on what is suicide and who may be targeted in war

A small minority of Muslims (who are not in the category of those who have nullified their Islam*) misunderstand the word shaheed (martyr) when it comes to war and the act of suicide.

Muslims may engage in defensive wars and if they happen to die in this way, doing it for the sake of Allah, insha'Allah they die shaheed, and as we know, a shaheed may attain paradise.

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 1:35, Narrated Abu Huraira

The Prophet said, "The person who participates in (Holy battles) in Allah's cause and nothing compels him to do so except belief in Allah and His Apostles, will be recompensed by Allah either with a reward, or booty (if he survives) or will be admitted to Paradise (if he is killed in the battle as a martyr). Had I not found it difficult for my followers, then I would not remain behind any sariya going for Jihad and I would have loved to be martyred in Allah's cause and then made alive, and then martyred and then made alive, and then again martyred in His cause."

Some Muslims incorrectly think that suicidal bombings during war is not suicide but an act of defensive war. They see it the same as fighting with guns or swords in a war. However, shooting in a war, one goes in with the intention NOT to die. Using oneself as a walking or flying bomb, one goes in with the intention of killing oneself (and the perceived enemy).

Sometimes a Muslim may have enough knowledge to quote the hadith in which it was said that the companions of Prophet Muhammad (saaws) would throw their bodies on top of the Prophet and were willing to take a hit for him. However, this does not mean they were intending to kill themselves! This means they were willing to perhaps take an attack to an arm or leg to prevent death to the Prophet saaws. Or that they would shield him and escort him to safety, and by shielding him, preventing the enemy from striking at that moment since the Prophet couldn't be clearly seen in the crowd. Putting oneself at risk is not the same thing as intending to do an act that would surely kill oneself!

As we know, the religion of Islam is based upon intentions, as we are judged according to our intentions. A good deed is not accepted by Allah if we have intentions other than doing it for the sake of Allah, or if it is not in accordance with Quran and Sunnah.

@$Osisi: The below is the explanation of the Quranic verse "ask the people of the Books"! You see how Allah shamed the disbelievers in their lies through the Knowledge and Wisdom He gave to His Messenger/Prophet (The Unlettered) Muhammad (AS)? The lettered people crumbled as they were exposed of their deceits.

Osisi, I know you should ask yourself questions on this issue, like how did Mary the Mother of Jesus escaped being tried like this woman/man in time of Muhammad (AS) or that of her son, Jesus (AS)? You should now ask yourself, how was it possible that Muhammad (AS) asked the Jews, when they lied he insisted that they be sure about what they are saying, while a scholar among them was put in place all along to have good and sound faith in his heart to expose their lies?

Osisi, I am going to grow old. I ask Allah the Almighty to give me 70 more years, this way I can dialogue with you and your type, from afar, only to point your feet to Islam. It is Allah Who will guide your heart to it!

Torah Punishment for Adultery is Stoning to Death

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 6.79, Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar

The Jews brought to the Prophet a man and a woman from among them who had committed illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet said to them, "How do you usually punish the one amongst you who has committed illegal sexual intercourse?" They replied, "We blacken their faces with coal and beat them[b]." He said, "Don't you find the order of Ar-Rajm (i.e. stoning to death) in the Torah?" They replied, "We do not find anything in it." 'Abdullah bin Salam (after hearing this conversation) said to them, "You have told a lie! Bring here the Torah and recite it if you are truthful." (So the Jews brought the Torah).

And the religious teacher who was teaching it to them, put his hand over the Verse of Ar-Rajm and started reading what was written above and below the place hidden with his hand, but he did not read the Verse of Ar-Rajm. 'Abdullah bin Salam removed his (i.e. the teacher's) hand from the Verse of Ar-Rajm and said, "What is this?" So when the Jews saw that Verse, they said, "This is the Verse of Ar-Rajm." So the Prophet ordered the two adulterers to be stoned to death, and they were stoned to death near the place where biers used to be placed near the Mosque.[/b] I saw her companion (i.e. the adulterer) bowing over her so as to protect her from the stones.

Adultery Committed by the Insane

Hadith - Abu Dawood #4388, Narrated Ali ibn Abu Talib

AbuZubyan said: A woman who had committed adultery was brought to Umar. He gave orders that she should be stoned. Ali passed by just then. He seized her and let her go. Umar was informed of it. He said: Ask Ali to come to me. Ali came to him and said: Commander of the Faithful, you know that the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: There are three (people) whose actions are not recorded: A boy till he reaches puberty, a sleeper till he awakes, a lunatic till he is restored to reason. This is an idiot (mad) woman belonging to the family of so and so. Someone might have done this action with her when she suffered the fit of lunacy. Umar said: I do not know. Ali said: I do not know.

Verbal Abuse

The word translated as "abuse" that is frequently mentioned in the Sunnah, includes verbal abuse.

Hadith - Sunan of Abu Dawood, Narrated by AbuJurayy Jabir ibn Salim al-Hujaymi
I saw a man whose opinion was accepted by the people, and whatever he said they submitted to it. I asked: Who is he? They said: This is the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him). I said: On you be peace, Apostle of Allah, twice. He said: Do not say "On you be peace," for "On you be peace" is a greeting for the dead, but say "Peace be upon you". I asked: You are the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon you)? He said: I am the Apostle of Allah Whom you call when a calamity befalls you and He removes it; when you suffer from drought and you call Him, He grows food for you; and when you are in a desolate land or in a desert and your she-camel strays and you call Him, He returns it to you. I said: Give me some advice. He (saaws) said: Do not abuse anyone. He (saaws) said that he did not abuse a freeman, or a slave, or a camel or a sheep thenceforth.

The Noble Qur'an - AlAhzab 33:58
And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear on themselves the crime of slander and plain sin.

Hadith - Bukhari's Book of Manners #313, Ahmad, Ibn Hibban, and Hakim
, 'Abd Allah reported that the Prophet of Allah, upon him be peace, said, "A believer is not a fault-finder and is not abusive, obscene, or course."

Hadith - Al-Tirmidhi
“A believer is never a person who scoffs at others, calls them names, or utters vulgar and obscene phrases”

Wife Abuse

"The most perfect Muslim in the matter of faith is one who has excellent behavior; and the best among you are those who behave best toward their wives." (Tirmithi)

How can it be said that a man is the protector of his wife, if he intentionally strikes, chokes, pushes or is violent in any way that results in her physical injury or bruising?

The Noble Qur'an - An-Nisaa 4:34
Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allâh and to their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what Allâh orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband's property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see illconduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allâh is Ever Most High, Most Great.

The Prophet, saaws, advised one Muslim woman, whose name was Fatimah bint Qais, not to marry a man because the man was known for beating women:

Hadith - Sahih Muslim
"I went to the Prophet and said: Abul Jahm and Mu'awiah have proposed to marry me. The Prophet (by way of advice) said: As to Mu'awiah he is very poor and Abul Jahm is accustomed to beating women"

It is haram (prohbited) for a man to ever strike the face of a Muslimah, for any reason, or to any degree. This statement is not a support for abusing women in a way that may potentially harm her, but a condementation of striking the face:

Hadith - Sunan of Abu Dawood, Narrated by Mu'awiyah al-Qushayri
Mu'awiyah asked: Apostle of Allah, what is the right of the wife of one of us over him? He replied: That you should give her food when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, do not strike her on the face, do not revile her or separate yourself from her except in the house.
IslamRe: Puff Daddy Embraced Islam by olabowale(m): 12:11pm On Aug 21, 2009
Men can also be beaten, and should be in an Islamic government, for certain crimes such as public drunkeness, by other men. These beatings are stronger than what is done in the home, as they are in response to crimes in society.

Hadith - Al-Muwatta 28.27
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al-Musayyab and from Sulayman ibn Yasar that Tulayha al-Asadiya was the wife of Rushayd ath-Thaqafi. He divorced her, and she got married in her idda-period. Umar ibn al-Khattab beat her and her husband with a stick several times, and separated them. Then Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "If a woman marries in her idda-period, and the new husband has not consummated the marriage, then separate them, and when she has completed the idda of her first husband, the other becomes a suitor. If he has consummated the marriage then separate them. Then she must complete her idda from her first husband, and then the idda from the other one, and they are never to be reunited."

Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhari 2.391, Narrated Abdullah bin Umar
He (Prophet Muhammad) pointed to his tongue and added, "The deceased is punished for the wailing of his relatives over him." 'Umar used to beat with a stick and throw stones and put dust over the faces (of those who used to wail over the dead).

Hadith - Bukhari 3:509, Narrated 'Uqba bin Al-Harith
When An-Nuaman or his son was brought in a state of drunkenness, Allah's Apostle ordered all those who were present in the house to beat him. I was one of those who beat him. We beat him with shoes and palm-leaf stalks.

The permission from Allah swt for beatings is conditional, in that it must be done according to Qur'an and Sunnah and not according to ones nafs (lower desires/ emotions/ irrationality).
IslamRe: Puff Daddy Embraced Islam by olabowale(m): 12:08pm On Aug 21, 2009
The Only Way to Beat ,

The only way to beat a wife or child, is to do so in a way that does not risk physical harm to the person and it should only be done after the committing of something serious such as flagrant disobedience (disobedience only to that which is halal [permissible according to Islam]).

T. Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 15, p. 212
During the ailment of Job, his wife used to beg for him and Satan told her a word of disbelief to say and she told her husband (Job), so he became angry with her and took an oath to strike her one hundred lashes. So Allah ordered Job to fulfil his oath by striking her with the bundle of thin grass.

Prophet Ayûb (Job) was informed how to beat his wife in this particular instance, in a way such that he would not harm her, yet still fulfill his misguided oath:

The Noble Qur'an - Sâd 38:44
[To Job]: And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife),,

The Noble Qur'an - Al-Baqarah 2:224
And make not Allâh's (Name) an excuse in your oaths against your doing good and acting piously, and making peace among mankind. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower (i.e. do not swear much and if you have sworn against doing something good then give an expiation for the oath and do good).

The Prophets are an example to mankind. From the above ayat and other hadith, we take the knowledge that the verse, "beat your wives" in The Quran refers to strikes with something relatively soft such as a bundle of thin grass or at worst a thin, flimsy stick. The beating is not to be done with severity. Please note that judgement can be impaired while a man is angry, and so it is recommended that he does not do it while angry. It is likewise haram (prohibited) for a woman to abuse her husband or children
IslamRe: Puff Daddy Embraced Islam by olabowale(m): 11:56am On Aug 21, 2009
@Nezan: I for example, follow the pattern of Prophet Muhammad (AS). Contrary to what you read from Osisi and the worldwide orientalists (the mutamushrikuun), the authentic ahadith explains "beat your her (your wife) lightly." It is to be expected that not every man have the ability or wants to beat his woman. And not every man is stronger than his wife. I for example is not overtly stronger than the very much younger Zainab. And those leepa men who married oroobo women could not be stronger as to assume that fighting her will be a cakewalk.

Now that leaves us with the men who are obviously stronger and may be willing to beat their wives. Allah cautioned that they should be beaten lightly and do not "damage her", as not to leave any mark!

Now, in the Quran, we see where a man, a prophet promised to beat his wife, or whipped her 100 lashes! The reason for that was that the woman seemes to disbelieve in God's way as the husband prophet was point out to her. That prophet was before Muhammad (AS), and before Jesus son of Mary (AS). That prophet was Job (AS), who made that promise to whip his wife 100 lashes, when he gets well from his illness.

Now read and learn: Job said "when I get well, I will whip you 100 lashes." The conditions are getting well and whipping. As a prophet, that was part of his message, hope, patience, belief, fulfilling commitments. His Lord, Allah the Almighty then made him well and instructed him how to carry out his promise of whipping his wife 100 lashes. He was to gather up 100 blades of grass. Bundle them together and gently touch his wife with them. That is the fulfillment.

The wisdom behind this is tat apart from making that threat and fulfilling it in the most honored way, not damaging his wife, will he beat her lightly, she knows that she has done something displeasing to him, and he has shown his anger or displeasure as humanely as possible!

Zainab, when I am angry with her, I tell myself to stop, then demand that we both have a time out. I do not hit a woman, and neither do I verbally abuse her. yet, there are better qualitied men in Islam.

My example was Muhammad (AS), ten Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali, and those of Muslim men who are kind to their wives. Nezan, do you have any prophetic or disciple or apostle who is your example. Obviously a man who is not married cant show you how to behave to your wife. A man who is not a father cant show you how to raise children. A man who cant have sex with a woman cant tell you how to sleep with your wife, treat best your wife or best raise a family. For me, Muhammad (AS) fulfill all of these, and you and I live under his prophetic era. While I accept him, obey him, follow his commandment, yet not a God, you reject him in totality, the reason you are a disbeliever, while I am a believer!

Now take that to the bank!

how the unbelievers like Olabowole reacted to his claim.

John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him (Jesus) {For their perceived blasphemy of Jesus calling Himself God}, because He not only had broken the Sabbath {customs, as they understood them}, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

So olabs, your reaction is in line. That's how I expect you to react.
Can we now say every male is equal to his father in everything? Every female equal to her mother, if Jesus was equal to God? Shall we not have two gods/Gods? I wonder where trinity is heading in all the back and forth of the Christian Bible?

I hope $Osisi will have the strength to be consistent about when an entity refuses an acclade from a one that is giving it to him, to actually mean that he does not deserve it: Examples, are as below, courtesy of $Osisi:

« #23 on: Yesterday at 03:41:23 PM »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Many verses forbid worshiping men, angels, or any created thing.

Acts 10:25,26 - Cornelius fell down to worship Peter. Peter forbade it saying that he himself was just a man. God deserves worship, but men do not. (Cf. Acts 12:20-23; 14:8-18.)

Revelation 22:8,9; 19:10 - John sought to worship the angel, but the angel forbade it because he was a "fellow servant." "Worship God."

Romans 1:25 - People who worship and serve created things, rather than the Creator, have left the truth of God.

To worship any created thing - whether man, angel, heavenly body, or some other object in nature (mountain, ocean, etc.) - constitutes idolatry.

Now here is my own presentation: And he was addressed "Good master, " Jesus immediately rebuked him/ escoriated him/cautioned him/refused the title, by saying "why do you call me good? There is only One who is Good, God in Heaven."

$Osisi, I thank Allah Who made your heart force your fingers to type these verses that my Lord is allowing me to use against you!
IslamRe: Was Jesus Sent To The Whole World? by olabowale(m): 2:35am On Aug 21, 2009
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He (Christ), ye shall die in your sins.
I wonder where there is forgiveness in here? Except he was telling the truth, to his audience. Some may say he was arrogance, but not me, because he was Christ (massiah)! But he did not say worship me, am your Creator!

John 8:18 I am one that bear witness of Myself, and the Father that sent Me beareth witness of Me.
Every messenger/prophet bore witness of himself and his Lord who sent him bore witness of him. This is nothing but a position of prophetic messenger/Servant with his Creator, Sender God!

Claims Jesus made of himself

John 10:30 I and My Father are one.

John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love Me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of Myself, but He sent Me
How many children has the Children God? Definitely, not one. Listen to Jesus in John 8:42. This verse killed off osisi's argument about Jesus being a special son, because according to Jesus, his listeners in that verse have the same exact sonship position!
IslamRe: Was Jesus Sent To The Whole World? by olabowale(m): 2:21am On Aug 21, 2009
John 4:25,26 The woman saith unto Him, I know that Messias (Messiah) cometh, which is called Christ: when He is come, He will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am He.
And Jesus turned around that it is the "another Comforter" that will tell us all things! Who is right, the woman in the above verse or Jesus when he said the "telling all things" is the role of the another Comforter? But watch this: Jesus did not confess to the woman that he was not in the position to tell all things because the another Comforter has that role. May be because he did not know it then, not been revealed to him, since he did not know everything?
IslamRe: Was Jesus Sent To The Whole World? by olabowale(m): 2:12am On Aug 21, 2009
Biko, how does the passage you quoted in different versions prove your point?
What has partiality got to do with this argument?

You see why I say Mooslims have a one track mentality.
You should at least present the proper argument from the website you copied then I'll answer you
$Osisi, you focused on Partiality, while i said you should, "reconcile" Jesus as God, considering that there is Only One Master Who is Heaven (of course some versions referred the subordinaes of the earthly masters as slaves), on one hand, and on the other hand, we read where Jesus was begging God to honor him.

Osisi, dont forget that I buttressed my argument against Jesus ever being any god, by my illustrating that equals dont beg their peers to elevate them! I dont ask my business partner to elevate me for example as a Partner. I am already that. If I do, while I am begging, the entity or entities am begging can accept or reject, they are higher and the decision is entirely theirs and i have no role in it. I finally asked you what was it that jesus could do against God Whom he begged (considering the many verses in the Bible that referred to God alone, and Jesus whom you sent, etc) if his request was unanswered by God, as it was rejected at another time, which brought about his being nailed to the cross?

I am happy that you are providing me the right ammos in dealing with you on this subject.

google and read the Koran and hadiths online and you will be flabberghasted by the depth of depravity sorrounding it's author and originator Mohammed and thank God for the light of the gospel.
the light that couldnt keep half of the brides who are waiting for their grooms out of darkness.

They did not have oil in their lamps, remember? And the brides who had oil were so selfish by not given any oil to their fellow brides who are waiting along with them! Typical greed of thr Christians in play. They could not think rationally, and practical, that it will be the best, since they were all together to formulate a process, whereby they will share the duty of keeping them out of darkness, in turn by sharing the oil with those who did not have. Then let one bride at a time for a short time light the lamp for all to see, and pass the duty to another, while still having some oil in the lamp. By the time they take a turn, the groom would have saunteered in, as expected if he was ever going to come!

Did he ever arrive to the brides, who probably burnt all their oil, while stil waiting? In Quran, there is a Chapter titled Nur; Light. $Osisi, read in the name of your Lord Who creates. He created you even though there was a time that you did not exist. Read in the name of your Lord Who taught by the pen, the things you never knew, until you now know them. Magnify the Praise of the Most Forgiving, Merciful! Magnify the name of your Lord God Allah the All Knowing, Creator and Never dies! Am sure known of these belongs to Jesus, or ghost or father who could not rule, alone!

Proof, please when you suggest otherwise!

If we look at the Muslim's kindness where 1 plate of meal is enough for 2, then you will see the generousity of Islam! You know what am talking about. Afterall, you said you lived in Northern Nigeria.

Did you know that $Osisi is a big time liar? Proof: Read her "did you know", above! On another thread she quoted Quran verse passing it for Ahadith. Woman, I read you loud and charlie. The muslims will meet you in measured pace; all the way, "as you like it!"

Kini big deal that he is Arab, or whatever he is and his conversion from Islam? What can a Kufar write that will make him author a suberb book on Sharia? Is like me declaring that I write a superb book on Igbo landguage that I do not speak. Am even better, afterall, I am married to an authentic Igbo woman. She could easily help me in the esotericity of its pages.

$Osisi says Al Baqarah 217,

Well this is tafsir of the verse: (217. They ask you concerning fighting in the Sacred Months. Say, "Fighting therein is a great (transgression) but a greater (transgression) with Allah is to prevent mankind from following the way of Allah, to disbelieve in Him, to prevent access to Al-Masjid Al-Haram (at Makkah), and to drive out its inhabitants, and Al-Fitnah is worse than killing.'' And they will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion (Islamic Monotheism) if they can. And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever.) (218. Verily, those who have believed, and those who have emigrated (for Allah's religion) and have striven hard in the way of Allah, all these hope for Allah's mercy. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.)

Now young girl, tell me where you got your "ahadith" as Al Baqarah 217? I think you are so angry that your eyes are blood shot! Hence you are writing Quran and putting ahadith in its place.

When you provide the number of the ahadith, Allah shall give me the knowledge to answer you as appropriate.

$Osisi will continue in her deceitful ways until she will finally realise (Allah Willing) that she must change. I guess she will wait until the pruneness or raisiness catches up to her. In the maintime, the 2:225 she lied about above is debunked below! Read and enjoy. Your three Idols of Idolatry Makkan, at least 2 are mentioned to illustrate the Ayah: You see how the Mercy of the Merciful eradicates the unintended sinful mistakes because of newness to Islam and the habit they have acquired from Kufr. Osisi, let me tell you, I have even heard muslims in the mosque says Jesus Christ! He did not mean it. However he used to say Jesus Christ in the days of ignorance before he came to Islam. Such a person is in laghw; unintentionally uttered a lie. He will have to take the Shahada, again. Well it will rid him of the ignorant statement.

The Laghw (Unintentional) Vows: 2; 225.
Allah said: [لاَّ يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِالَّلغْوِ فِى أَيْمَـنِكُمْ] (Allah will not call you to account for that which is unintentional in your oaths,). This Ayah means, `Allah does not punish or hold you accountable for the Laghw (unintentional) vows that you make.' The Laghw vows are unintentional and are just like the habitual statements that the tongue repeats, without really intending them. For instance, it is reported in the Two Sahihs that Abu Hurayrah narrated that Allah's Messenger said: «مَنْ حَلَفَ فَقَالَ فِي حَلِفِهِ بِاللَّاتِ وَالْعُزَّى، فَلْيَقُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله»

[b](Whoever swore and (unintentionally) mentioned Al-Lat and Al-`Uzza (two idols) in his vow, should then say, `There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah'.) The Messenger said this statement to some new Muslims whose tongues were, before Islam, used to vowing by their idol Al-Lat. Therefore, the Prophet ordered them to intentionally recite the slogan of Ikhlas, just as they mentioned these words by mistake, so that it (the word of Ikhlas) may eradicate the word (of Shirk). This is why Allah said:

[وَلَـكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ] (, but He will call you to account for that which your hearts have earned.) and in another Ayah:[بِمَا عَقَّدتُّمُ الاٌّيْمَـنَ] (, for your deliberate oaths) (5:89)Abu Dawud reported under Chapter: `The Laghw Vows' that `Ata' said that `A'ishah said that Allah's Messenger said: «اللَّغْوُ فِي الْيَمِينِ هُوَ كَلَامُ الرَّجُلِ فِي بَيْتِهِ: كَلَّا وَاللهِ، وَبَلَى وَالله» (The Laghw in the vows includes what the man says in his house, such as, `No, by Allah,' and, `Yes, by Allah'.) Ibn Abu Hatim reported that Ibn `Abbas said, "The Laghw vow includes vowing while angry.'' He also reported that Ibn `Abbas said, "The Laghw vow includes vowing to prohibit what Allah has allowed, and this type does not require a Kaffarah (expiation).'' Similar was said by Sa`id bin Jubayr.[/b]

In addition, Abu Dawud related under Chapter: `Vowing while Angry' that Sa`id bin Musayyib said that two Ansari brothers both received inheritance and one of them asked that the inheritance be divided. His brother said, "If you ask me about dividing the inheritance again, then all of what I have will be spent on the Ka`bah's door.'' `Umar said to him, "The Ka`bah does not need your money. So break your vow, pay the Kaffarah and come to terms with your brother. I heard Allah's Messenger saying:
«لَا يَمِينَ عَلَيْكَ وَلَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ الرَّبِّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَفِي قَطِيعَةِ الرَّحِمِ، وَفِيمَا لَا تَمْلِك»

(Do not make a vow against yourself, nor to disobey the Lord, cut the relations of the womb or dispose of what you do not own.)'' Allah said: [وَلَـكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ] (. , but He will call you to account for that which your hearts have earned,) Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid and several others said that this Ayah means swearing about a matter while knowing that he is lying. Mujahid and others said this Ayah is similar to what Allah said: [وَلَـكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا عَقَّدتُّمُ الاٌّيْمَـنَ] (, but He will punish you for your deliberate oaths.) (5:89) Allah said (2:225 above):[وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ]
(And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearing.) meaning, He is Oft-Forgiving to His servants and Most Forbearing with them.

Those who take an oath not to have sexual relation with their wives must wait for four months, then if they return, verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.) (227. And if they decide upon divorce, then Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.)

He thought himself equal with God,because he is

John 5:23 - All men should honor the Son "just as" they honor the Father. To fail to give this honor to the Son is to fail to properly honor the Father.

John 17:5 - Jesus prayed to the Father to "glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was" How shall $Osisi reconcile "He thought himself equal with God, because he is" with or to mean "Jesus prayed to the father to 'glorify Me together with Yourself'!

Question: What if God refused to accept his prayer as He did in the "let the cup pass over my head, etc?" What could Jesus do on his on? Considering that he did nothing to God except cried out on the cross? Could just a man/one be equal to God, when he is praying for elevation from his position?

$Osisi, I do not beg my business partner or partners to do what my authority allows me to do. That true partnership. If I beg a "partner" to be elevated, then am not really a "partner." Thats reality.

@$Osisi; Read your Bible and open your heart, away from the hatred! lol. Look at the below. If you have the strength to claim that Jesus is the Overall master in the below, then I will bring many verses up from the Bible where Jesus himself that he was not God! Try it for size and lets see. So much to learn in the piece below.

New International Version

New American Standard Bible (©1995)
And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

International Standard Version (©2008)
Masters, treat your slaves the same way. Do not threaten them, for you know that both of you have the same Master in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.

GOD'S WORD® Translation

King James Bible
And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

American King James Version
American Standard Version
Bible in Basic English

Douay-Rheims Bible
And you, masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatenings, knowing that the Lord both of them and you is in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him.

Forbearing threatening. The habit of cruel masters.

Knowing that your Master also is in heaven. That you have a Master who sees you, to whom your slave is just as dear as you are, and who will hold you to account if you wrong him.

Wesley's Note

your Master also-The oldest manuscripts read, "the Master both of them and you": "their Master and yours." This more forcibly brings out the equality of slaves and masters in the sight of God. Seneca [Thyestes, 607], says, "Whatever an inferior dreads from you, this a superior Master threatens yourselves with: every authority here is under a higher above." As you treat your servants, so will He treat you.

neither . respect of persons-He will not, in judging, acquit thee because thou art a master, or condemn him because he is a servant (Ac 10:34; Ro 2:11; Ga 2:6; Col 3:25; 1Pe 1:17). Derived from De 10:17; 2Ch 19:7.

Leviticus 25:43 'You shall not rule over him with severity, but are to revere your God.
Deuteronomy 10:17 "For the LORD your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe.

Job 31:13 "If I have despised the claim of my male or female slaves When they filed a complaint against me,

Acts 10:34 Opening his mouth, Peter said: "I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality,

Those are my target.

His Disciples
Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God." (Matthew 14:33)
Son of God like every son and children of God, in the OLD Testament Tradition. Please read the OT and you will see what am talking about!

Women
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."
The woman was afraid and at the same time joyed. How do we know this? Did she say she was was fanning hot and cold at the same time? This is the similarity to afraid and joyed in one go. What was this woman doing there, in or at the tomb? Oiling a dead body? hardly, except that she knew that he was recuperating nicely and was surprised that he got better less that 48 hours after such a horrible ordeal!

And they clasped his feet, not being afraid I might add, but then he quipped for a god story, do not be afraid! Is this the action of people who thought they just saw a dead man walking, or the action of a dead man who just came to life, fulfilling his sign like Jonas' "3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the whale (I know it is not 3 days and 3 nights in the cave, which really not a tomb; I just enjoy teasing her)"?

$Osisi, you proof ed nothing. Please let me finished disecting your story before you respond. Okay woman. Young girl. Thank you. Lol.

Angels
And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." (Hebrews 1:6)
Another post Jesus on the earth verse!

Wise Men
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. (Matthew 2:11)
A geeting of respect, maybe to a woman who has a new born baby, a baby who is a prophet who defended his mother against all sexual accusations when the elders (read surah Mariam to know) made them. It was his defense that saved his mothers hide, otherwise they would have tried to deal with her as they wanted to deal wit the prostitute at least 30 years later.
