European countries in general are in a state of comatose when it comes to good economy. Even their indigenous citizens aren't finding it rosy like some many years ago.

I wouldn't advice any Nigerian youth with big dream to migrate to Europe unless that person is migrating as a doctor or nurse or experienced engineer with full resident permit and job offer ahead, if not, migrating to Europe might be a mistake for an ambitious Nigerian youth now.

Luck happens though....some may get lucky...some do get lucky as usual in life, but speaking in general, Europe is dead economically, only Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg and a few European countries still have promising economy to offer to migrants.

For any Nigerian who wants to leave Nigeria and not regret later, USA, Australia, Canada, South Korea, and probably Japan are his or her best options for now.

I wouldn’t say they have dead economies but rather a deep rooted hatred towards blacks of African origin just base on the color of your skin.
It’s hard for people that hate you that much to open any economic doors for you. I support all the other countries you listed for any Nigerians to migrate to.
I’ve been told many times how they can’t deal with anyone darker than my skin tone. Immigrants should avoid Europe at all cost.

If you are talking about European countries, then yes u are right.

If u are living in Europe: Italy, Spain, Netherlands, France, Greece, Sweden, Hungary, Norway, UK, etc, etc without legal papers like RP, then it is better u stay back in Nigeria because the only job u can get are poo packing and maybe drug peddling at clubs.

But if u have permanent resident permit or citizenship which is rare, you are better of there than in Nigeria.


But for USA, whether as a legal resident or as an illegal resident, living in US is better than living in Nigeria unless u have a good job in Nigeria that pays u at least 200,000naira monthly as a single man or 250k monthly as a newly married man. If not, living in USA is better for any guy that's earning less than 200k monthly in Nigeria.

Same applies to Canada, Australia, South Korea, Japan, etc.

The only countries that are not that rosy are and I repeat:

2. Spain
3. Italy
4. Sweden
5. Denmark
6. Belgium
7. France
8. Hungary
9. Greece
10. Netherlands
11. Turkey
12. Cyprus
13. Ukraine
Etc, etc

These countries favor only legal residents with full resident permit, and mostly medical professionals like doctors and nurses and maybe engineers (mechanical engineers with good experience)

The reason for the Scandinavian countries been so hard is because they have a more tighter and controlled personal identification number that your life without one is almost as good as being dead. But in terms of salary structure and cost of living, all developed countries are almost the same except some parts of Europe. And the population here is so small that it will take just 5mins to fish you out working without the right papers.

OP can also attend annual festivals that people living abroad always return for. But I have to tell you it’s much easier and faster to meet foreign Naija guys base on recommendation than cold internet approach.

EU has subsidy as high as 40% for agriculture and also have fossil fuel subsidy through its friends of fossil fuel subsidy reform. That’s why local farmers in Cameroon cannot compete in the sale of onions and maize.

Security has improved drastically in Lagos in the last 5-10yrs. Avoid living in places with very low income earners, places like Iyano Ipaja, Ajegunle, Ikorodu, Iyano Iba, Agric, Sango ota.

Adeniran Ogunsanya and Bode Thomas are good places to live within the Surulere axis, whilst Gbagada is also secured and very close to Lagos Island with just the 3rd mainland bridge separating them. With a budget of 650k to 1.2m annually on rent you should be fine with security in all the safe areas I’ve mentioned.
