I still couldn't fathom how Yun Ye sold his domain portfolio for $164 million in 2004. Domaining can be crazily lucrative if you know and use the right methods.

I can confidently tell you that it was a good read.

Sedo is the world's largest domain marketplace. I searched for a keyword on Bodis and got 25 results while Sedo returned over 5000 results for the same keyword. As a new domainer, you want the maximum exposure for your domains.

Just use an address for which you can get a nepa bill, not necessarily the address on the domain whois or where you live.

Also, Afternic does not accept Nigerians.

Nice one. If a domain changes hands four times in a year, which of these sales will these websites report on their web?

Can anybody explain why the sales quotes from Namebio.com differ from that of DNsaleprice.com. For example, DNSalePrice reported that FloralCenterpieces dot com sold for $2000 at Afternic on Feb 9 2013 while Namebio reported that it was sold for $333 at Namejet on July 9 2012. Anybody can check to confirm.

Secondly, americans dont normally use autos rather they prefer to use car. Na europeans dey use auto so merging european word "auto" and rental together is a crime against the americans. Lol

Preferably, newyork car rentals but the name go long but its generic by nature.

Thanks boss, I really appreciate your comments. I believe the auto rental DN may be one of the small mistakes I have to make in the domaining world. What motivated me to register it is that "auto rentals" returned a 301,000 global monthly searches and 110,000 local monthly searches for the US and I thought the word 'autos' can encompass cars, vans, and trucks. Thank you bro, your 'understanding mathematics' must be a bestseller now!

Go to change.org and start a petition. If it can get enough signatures, I'm sure it will get some (online) attention.

I also learnt that it may take 5 to 15 days to complete . Is it true? The money no plenty but am very happy cause this my first time of selling a domain name.

mikelreal: good question bro, you made me do some research, n here is what I found out from google. As usual in everytin we do, we need common sense(from google). How natural will ur domain sound be it in singular or plural form? If ua d only expert in dat site,using forexperts.com wont make sense abi? So it all depends on d individual nitche ua targeting, and they also said it is better to register a domain in its plural form because, thier is ''expert''in ''experts'' but thier is no experts in expert, so wen someone tries to google expert, ur ''experts'' will also come up.. Hope u get the point. Its just sense.

Thanks man. I got everything you said. Before I asked you the question, I also thought 'expert' may not sell because its sounding more like a one-man show. For example, carexpert.com may end up as a blog where one man gives people car tips and advice while carexperts.com may end up with a car garage with offices nationwide or a directory of pro mechanics all over the country. Though, I know that this analogy may not be applicable to all prefix (industries), I want to think like the buyer before registering any DN.

However, I've seen some 'expert' DN's that sold 'fairly well'. Since I'm just after a decent 3 digit domain sales that I can use invest in other ambitious DNs, will you suggest that I go with what is available (expert)?
