PMB is cunning... but he is not intelligent or smart enough to grasp the rudiments of governance.

hence his resort to crude tactics better suited for the Victorian era, which includes having a retinue of praise singers who sing his praises even when they know that things are going astray...
How he holds the nation spellbound with his subtlety is still a mystery.

Guy, why are you trying to avoid being quoted? Only cowards do that.

Common sense dictates that the Senate should prove beyond doubt that Magu is corrupt by releasing the purported security report of DSS relied on to reject his nomination.
Firstly, it's the duty of the DSS to send the said report to the president been an agency under direct supervision and control of the executive. Secondly, publishing the report on the pages of newspapers or through other means will amount to media trial which EFCC itself is been accused of. The Senate has promised to send the report directly to the president.

To witchhunt political opponent claimed by wailers.

There is separation of power in democracy
The president can't meddle in the affairs of the house
One wonders if you really take time to digest any topic before lunching your net into the ocean of commentary. The underlining point is not about Buhari upholding the doctrine of Separation of Powers but the unexplainable fact that such damning report was not discussed with the president (who's is the C-in-C) before finding its way into the hallowed chambers. It also portrays Buhari as a double faced leader who probably ignored Magu's atrocities and still sent his name to the NA for confirmation. Try not to reason like a robot.
PoliticsBabachir And Magu Gates, Waiting For Buhari To Prove His Doubters Wrong. by OLADD(op):
The seeming passive camps of pro and anti supporters of Buhari's government came to life during the week when the nation was awoken to resounding gongs of corruption allegations against two prominent serving officials of the APC-led adminstration by the country's legislative arm. To some, these latest graft allegations are no less different from the ones hanging on the necks of Buratai, Lawal Daura, Jafaru Issa and other close aides of the president who are still walking freely despite alarming graft offences they allegedly committed. Others however hold the strong belief that Mr. President is under immense pressure to prove his doubters wrong by sacrificing both Babachir and Magu to enhance his anti corruption image. While pontificating over Buhari's likely next line of action, let's consider the following scenarios:

1. In an apparent bid to save his neck from the tags of incompetence and complicity, Mr. President ignored budget padding allegations raised by Jubrin against leaders of National Assembly despite concrete evidence to that effect. Pursuing the case in the reasoning of the president would have portrayed him as an incompetent leader who signed a padded budget into law. It would have further indicted him for not putting his house in order before sending the appropriation bill to the NA for confirmation So, the president took the easiest escapist route by simply telling the world that the 2016 Budget was not padded. Would the president toe the same line in Babachir and Magu's cases?

2. Taking point 2 above into consideration would the president go ahead to accept Senate's rejection of Magu against the backdrop of been blamed for not thoroughly screening him before been sent to the NA for confirmation?

3. Will the president live with or ignore the shame of been bypassed by the DSS who chose to submit Magu's indictment report directly to the Senate and still take pitch his tent with the legislators?

4. Will the acceptance of Senate's recommendation not solidify the position of many who believe that Buhari is not in control of his government?

5. If the president choose to damn all consequences by sticking with both Magu and Babachir, what does this portend for his anti corruption crusade and 2019 aspiration (if any) lest we forget the damaging effect of Sanusi's $20 billion missing NNPC money allegation on Jonathan's 2015 reelection bid.

PoliticsRe: EFCC To Appeal Court Order Asking Zenith Bank To Defreeze Fayose’s Accounts by OLADD: 11:45pm On Dec 13, 2016
Every sane mind knows EFCC erred in law by freezing the account of a sitting governor in an apparent violation of the constitution. Many people closed their eyes from the anomaly simply because it involved Fayose, forgetting that such precedence sets the tone for future anarchy. Successive presidents would use the infraction (if allowed to remain unchecked ) to deal with any governor who's opposed to their presidency. This judgement is a welcomed development.

Buhari has been able to expose those who looted and raped Nigeria without mercy, including Mama Piss. Something the Ineffectual Buffoon could not even dare.

A student who comes home with a woeful or excellent result didn't record that result on the day he brings it home. He/she has actually recorded that performance probably some months/years back. What he brings home to his/her parents is only a confirmation of what s/he has sown in those past years.

There is NOTHING happening in Nigeria today that was not forewarned or predicted some years back. Sanusi said his own. Bismark Rewane said his own. Soludo said his own. Even at very late stage, madam Puff-Puff said it that Nigeria should prepare for tough times ahead when the useless woman and the IB were already borrowing to pay salaries in early 2015 at $75 per barrel of crude. Did anyone think tough times meant merry making times?

Make una keep wailing. At the right time, we will answer you.
But Buhari has not been able to expose the people that used N270 million to cut mere grass at IDP Camp. He has so far failed to nail those milking Nigeria through his imperialistic and lopsided forex policy (according to Sanusi). He failed to expose the governors that grounded their respective states to finance his 2015 election. He turned his eyes away from the secret CBN and FIRS recruitments involving top members of APC. Stop fooling yourselves.

1. Was it Jonathan that created Almajirism in Northern Nigeria, a social menace that bred poverty and religious exremism?

2. Did Jonathan prevent northern leaders including emirs from calling their subjects to order and nipping religious intolerance in the bud over the years?

3. Were you in the country when northern elders fought against State of emergency in the areas ravaged by Boko haram, asking Jonathan to remove soldiers from the streets?

4. Were you around when Buhari and other northern politicians tagged the fight against Boko haram as a fight against the north?

5. Were your senses still intact when APC and some northern elements worked against designation of Boko haram as a terrorist organisation?

6. Did you hear about fifth columnists working for northern politicians, who constantly leaked military intelligence to Boko haram during GEJ era?

May God punish you and other elements blaming Jonathan for the spread of Boko haram in Nigeria.

Don't wait for time to tell anything brother. This Buhari WILL NEVER handover to the opposition if he losses in 2019. It's so evident. The best he will do is to relinquish power to a surrogate military junta, a decision that would take the country back to the dark ages. Buhari would have declared war on Nigeria if he hadn't won in 2015.

I don't know how Nigerians expect someone who did not show simple remorse for the death of Corpers and other Nigerians in the aftermath of 2011 elections to feel their pain for 'ordinary hunger'.

A conscientious and humane leader will strive to improve the living conditions of the citizens rather than complicate it.

PoliticsRe: Recession Worsens On Niger Delta Crisis, Despite Agric Rebounds - Thisdaylive by OLADD:
SUMMARY:

1. Contrary to the widely held belief, Niger Delta crisis is not the main contributory factor to the nation's recession since the oil sector only constitutes less than 15% of the GDP. The president and VP are wrong to always premise the economic woes on plummeting oil revenue.

2. Lopsided foreign exchange policy is substantially responsible for the lull in productive activities in the manufacturing, agriculture and other sectors of the economy which constitute the remaining 85% of the country's GDP. In other words, Buhari's economic policies are the main reasons for the recession.

3. Even if hostility in Niger Delta ceases and global oil price rebounds, it doesn't guaranty our speedy recovery from recession since our GDP growth is not mainly galvanised by oil revenue inflow.

Just wish him happy birthday and leave the rhetorics.

"Stealing is not corruption."- GEJ

"President Jonathan lacked the goodwill to save."- Okonjo-Iweala
Son of Lucifer, can you just shut it up? Always twisting facts to whip up sentiments. Jonathan never said stealing is not corruption in the manner you and other mischievous elements are brandishing it and at no time did Okonjo Iweala ever accuse him of lacking the will to save. She was ostensibly referring to the governors led by Ameachi and Fashola who dragged the ex president to the Suprrme court for not sharing the ECA fund. So stop lying and be real for once. You better concentrate your venom on Buhari who claimed Abacha was not corrupt but celebrates recovery of his loot from Switzerland and other places.

Lest I forget, happy and glorious birthday to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the architect of modern day democracy in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Chibok Girls Release: Presidency Rejects Claim FG Paid $21m Ransom by OLADD: 9:09am On Nov 13, 2016
Here they go again! Can Shehu Garba tell the world why Boko Haram will choose to release 21 Chibok Girls without any ransom, yet continues to kill other Nigerians in droves via suicide bombing? Can he also tell us if the lives of Chibok girls are now important than those of Colonel Alli, 38 missing soldiers and other Nigerians murdered in cold blood by Boko haram?

For your information, stopping Boko haram from holding territory in any part of the country is never a mean feat, no militia has the power to continually occupy any territory without eventually succumbing to the superior firepower of Nigerian Military. Boko haram held sway and hoisted their flags before 2015 elections because of northern complicity including statements made by Buhari and other leaders who tagged the fight against the sect as a fight against the north. At a time during Jonathan's reign, the north was ready to wage a civil war to stop military presence in the north. They only began to realise their mistakes after power shifted in 2015 but Boko haram continues its deadly activities.

Until this govt tell Nigerians the whole truth about Chibok girls abduction and release, they would never experience peace.

But every fear expressed in the "hate speech" has manifested in Buhari's 15-month reign. They said he's a bigot and sectional leader; he has proved to be one. He was accused of been sympathetic to Boko haram, no single Boko haram leader arrested in the last one year has been prosecuted .They said he's not intellectually and economically sound; he has plunged the country into recession under one year in office. There's none of the issues raised in the so called hate speech that hasn't come to pass, so who's now vindicated?
