AlexReports: NASS leadership: Stop Igbo Marginalisation, Youth Parliament Urges APC/Presidency
The Igbo Youth Parliament has frowned at events and utterances surrounding the election of principal officers of the incoming ninth National Assembly.
The Group particularly criticized the winner-takes-all mentality of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the 95/5% rule must stop forthwith.
According to the Youth Parliament, there is the need to maintain balance and give every Nigerian a sense of belonging, especially given the marginalisation the Igbo Nation has suffered in the country.
While reminding the Party that every segment of the Country has qualified individuals for national service, the Group expressed its support to the aspiration of Chief (Dr.) Orji Uzor Kalu as one of the next presiding officers of the Senate.
The choice of Dr. Kalu, the Youth Parliament noted is due to his versatility, sagacity and detribalized personality.
According to the Group, "the new Senator-Elect for Abia North successfully delivered APC in his constituency," querying what extra qualifications were necessary that he does not possess.
"For now and except convinced otherwise, the cap fits Orji Uzor Kalu and we so recommend him and will support all his efforts pursuant to becoming Senate President, the Group added.
The statement, signed by Comrade Eke Okogbue (President) and Prince Xavier Ikechi (Patron) also threatened to initiate the recall of any legislator from the South East that does not represent its constituents creditably.

sanmtiago: Sorry my write up may be lengthy but I'll try as much as possible to be concise
I don't usually see myself as a ladies man cause i'm just a simple person who likes it low key but ladies keep coming around. Of course I like women but I'm not the type who has that excessive impulse to have a woman around me for sex and all that romantic ish. I do have sex when I want to cause I have a girlfriend and I'm loyal to her also. I'm not loyal to her because I love her so much i think I'm loyal because I technically have this inherent self discipline so I hardly chase women. I've dated my girl friend for 2yrs and I've never cheated on her even when I've a deluge of girls flocking around me.
I'm a final year student in my mid twenties and my girl in her early twenties. I don't cohabit cause it doesn't appeal to me so all she does is visit and spend the weekend at my house at times.
Now down to the subject matter I make friends irrespective of their sex but the thing is most of the females I make friends with always want to take the friendship further, they visit me at late hours at times 8pm, 9pm and they stay beyond 10pm and once it's after 10 they begin to give frivolous excuses like, I don't think it'd be safe going home alone by this time of the night or they say they've locked my hostel gate so I literally have no choice than to let them pass the night.
The shocking thing is they begin to make romantic demands like 'can you pls cuddle me I'm cold' I find it so disrespectful cause they know full well I have a girlfriend and I'm not that kind of guy they think I'm.
It happens too often and I'm no longer comfortable with it at this same time I don't want to lose friends as they're nice people. Even as much as my girl knows my level of honesty and discipline she still nervous breakdown because of the inordinate amount of calls from this so called Jezebels.
Please how do I curb this without losing friends cause like I said earlier they're nice and to some extent they've been helpful. You want to what? Something dey worry you - what some are paying for |

Greatpoet: Press Statement 15/3/19
Buratai, Military After My Life, Alleges Timi Frank
Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has accused the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai and the military high command of plot to kill him.
Frank in a statement in Abuja in reaction to an online message designed by the military in which they accused him of being a “Protagonist of Fake News” said the real plot by Buratai and the military is to eliminate him. It is sad to note that the Army under Buratai has degenerated to this abysmal level of partnership. The Army and Buratai have just shown to be the peddlers of fake news themselves by putting out my name in such a manner . This I must say portends a great danger to the country.
He stated that the military is not comfortable with him for constantly revealing clandestine midnight meetings between Buratai, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and President Muhammadu Buhari, where they plotted to rig the 2019 elections in favour of the APC which they have now done.
Frank said: “Buratai is after my life for speaking truth to power. I want Nigerians and the international community to hold Buratai and the military responsible should any harm befall me in the years ahead as the army chief has vowed to bring me down wherever he finds me. But God shall thwart the counsel of the ungodly.
“I insist that Buratai and the Chairman of INEC have been holding nocturnal meetings with President Buhari on how to achieve unearned victory for the APC during the elections which they have now done.
“Let Buratai tell Nigerians if he ever had any midnight meeting with the President and the INEC chair in the run up to the last two successive elections instead of blackmailing and calling me names.
“But despite all of this intimidation, harassment, blackmail and name calling against my person, I remain undeterred. I will continue to expose their crimes against Nigerians and the nation’s democratic process by using its men to subvert the express will and choice of who governs them in favour of highly placed individuals in the governing APC.”
He noted that European Union (EU) Election Observation Mission, the International Republican Institute (IRI), the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and other foreign and local election monitors, have reported how the elections were hugely marred by military personnel and this is public knowledge.
He said: “Besides, countless video, audio and photo evidence exist online detailing some of the heinous atrocities of the military during the elections, yet Buratai and the military want Nigerians to believe that I am a “Protagonist of Fake News” for revealing before hand their plans to hijack the nation’s political and electoral processes in favour of APC.
“Rather than seeking to kill, silence or liquidate me for putting before Nigerians and the world information that they have not been able to controvert, let Buratai and the military apologize to Nigerians for deceiving them via fake news and propaganda that Boko Haram had been defeated, degraded and Sambisa forest liberated.
“Even little children across Nigeria know that despite the spurious claims by the military, Boko Haram has continued to wax strong and sinister - killing, maiming, displacing and kidnapping scores of innocent Nigerians on a regular basis.
“Apart, from the Northeast states of Borno and Yobe still under incessant attacks from the insurgents, they have extended their theatre of operations to include otherwise peaceful states in the Northwest like Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto and Kaduna.
“Buratai and the military should apologize to Nigerians for being the greatest harbinger of fake news and propaganda in the country by spreading wholesale lies that Boko Haram had been defeated, including the presentation of a fake Boko Haram flag to President Buhari with claims that Sambisa Forest has been liberated.
He called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to hold to account Buratai and all military personnel found to have engaged in the mindless killing and maiming of innocent Nigerians in a bid to rig the just concluded elections in favour of President Buhari and the the APC.
He also called on the EU and the United States to expedite their promise to place visa restriction on those who promoted or perpetuated violence and rigging during the last elections especially top military personnel, APC stalwarts and members of their families.

Well it's better to have an ambiguous tag to them "rich" - but also have a general tag based on the voting pattern and the residences of the area's - for example, why Victoria islands and ikoyi - maitama and asokoro would vote for a fellow bourgeoise like themselves, knowing fully well with the level of education they have that most of the "proposed policies" can't work in a developing nation, riddled with all forms of graft and designer corruption- what baffles me the most is when they know this truth, they prefer a lie - most of those living in those area's above are those that possess these oil blocks, because I know no oil block owner stays in mushin, agege in lagos or mararaba axis in abuja - a N20b economy is being worked out for the poor, they don't want it, because- if it should succeed automatically, they wouldn't get people to lend monies too at cut throat interest rates - for more emphasis, they would rather the poor continue to slave for them, while they "give them food" to eat - to make matters worst, they hand peanuts to them, and believe they are doing them "the under privileged" a favour |

kidap: Timi Frank exposes another midnight meeting between Bubari, INEC boss, others
...Tells PDP govs, leaders not to celebrate yet
Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Timi Frank has revealed another midnight meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Chief of Army Staff, and the acting Inspector General of Police among others.
Frank in a statement in Abuja, claimed that the meeting was called at the instance of the presidency on how to perfect victory for the ruling party in the six states already declared inconclusive by the INEC.
The President had earlier on Tuesday met behind closed door with some Northern govermors, which the purpose was not made known to the public.
Exposing the meeting through a press statement Wednesday in Abuja, the political activist said it is the third time that the INEC chairman and others were secretly meeting the president in the midnight.
Frank raised an alarm that the way APC allegedly stole the mandate freely given to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the Presidential election, "the electoral empire is out to repeat the same plot in the rescheduled rerun governorship elections in six states."
According to him, the latest meeting took place at the Glass House of the Presidential Villa, which started at about 1:30am and lasted for about an hour.
Frank claimed that the INEC boss arrived the Presidential Villa in the same Armoured BMW 7 series vehicle with the Chief of Army Staff, Buratai and later joined by other APC leaders.
"Our Eagle eye in the presidential Villa has exposed another secret meeting against Nigeria by the people we trusted with power. The latest meeting is meant to finalise strategies on how to rig the six states declared inconclusive for the ruling APC. These are states already won by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by later declared inconclusive.
"I challenge the INEC chairman to deny and swear with the Holy Qur'an that he has not been meeting with the President. History will always remember the 2019 general elections and the role played by Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, will never be forgotten in a hurry," Frank stated.
The Bayelsa-born activist, however, called on all the serving and elected governors, National Assembly leaders and other stakeholders of the PDP not to celebrate any victory yet untill the six states of Rivers, Sokoto, Bauchi, Kano, Adamawa and Plateau are declared for the party.
"The game plan is to adopt Osun template for the rerun elections. PDP leaders must speak out loudly against militarisation of these elections, the evil plot of the latest meeting should not be allowed to materialise because the APC government will do everything possible to rig these rerun elections," Frank said.
While calling on international community to continue to keep an eye on the electoral process in the country, Frank said the statements released by the EU and UK to condem the militarisation of last Saturday's governorship election have vindicated his earlier position.
"I also called on the Sultan of Sokoto, the Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar-ed Peace Committee - who have been keeping quiet in the face of injustice -and other leaders of thoughts to call the Buhari-led APC’s government to order.
Signed: Comrade Timi Frank Ex-APC deputy spokesman Abuja.

The problem is precisely that he does not listen to his experts or to use a better word technocrats. Lamido Sanusi said as much. Same thing Amaechi echoed.
