People render free services for what they have passion for atimes... That's why it's called passion.. It doesn't necessarily have to be the thing footing the bills/all the bills

You can have GREAT passion for something you do, whereas it isn't your main source of income.

So yes, I would still care about my job even if I have one that pays me quadruple of what I currently earn

I wasn't sure anymore if there are still people out there who get up to go to work daily because they love their jobs. Almost 99% of people I know working, including myself then, were driven by month-end alerts, paying bills, being 'responsible', possibly being able to start a family after securing a job, etc. especially in the Nigerian settings where having just any job that brings in money goes a very long way.

Well, I hope I can find this kind of passion again you just described because right now I'm only passionate about increasing my net worth on a daily basis. I don turn Ibo man. Lol. I need some more Warren Buffet in my life.

Seeing these names reminds me of the passionate engineer that I once was after my bachelors and while working offshore in naija. Now I don't know myself again as men don dey turn to economists. Huge risk-taking has totally taken over that engineering come dey appear one kind. Oil prices no kuku 'epp' matters.
I would like to know if there are people who are actually very passionate about what they do for a living.
Like, if you are able to earn more than twice, thrice or even quadruple of what your job pays you by merely investing and trading online(legit), would you still care about your job?

Thank you, it's my first time applying to a Norway school (undergrad), from what I saw on the University of Nord's website you have to sort out your accomodation yourself they only link to their student housing website outside that nothing but they also noted that, you will have to proof you have somewhere to stay while applying for Visa if granted admission. From what I understand, apply for the admission first and get it. You only need proof of accommodation when applying for a visa.
Every university has a student housing and they normally give all students who apply before the deadline.
How can you use an address in far away Oslo as proof of accommodation for a school in Nord? The school will give you one which you will use during your visa application.

Nigerians never knew that not a single thing we consume is made in Nigeria. All they know is to consume and be happy with any govt that makes it available for consumption and open their ignorant mouths to hail that govt as the best. That's why it's hard to please Nigerians by taking hard decisions to start from the bottom.
When this govt launched local pencil and toothpick production for a start, ignorant people were bashing it as a mediocre achievement, forgetting that previous govts were doing nothing but dishing our hard earned forex for importation of anything consumable, including the same toothpicks and a national security document like Passport.
For me, I'm keenly interested in any govt that makes the most effort to take us away from a consuming nation to a producing nation. In that area, even though not substantial enough, this govt has done the most to save us from importing with scarce forex resources.

I studied engineering and at this stage of my life, economics works better for me. My Engineering Economics courses at both bachelors and masters level are some of the best things to happen to my financial life.
Economics helps us forecast expected oil and gas (for example) revenues before making investment decisions. While accounting dwells more with digging the past. Who the past help abeg?

It's fixed. Australia used to be at the receiving end of that rule and most times lost their qualification of the world cup to South American countries who always found ways to beat them in the playoffs. I think 8 years ago, Australia became wise and petitioned FIFA to allow them play their world cup qualifying matches against Asian countries. Since then, Australia has been qualifying for the world cups at the expense of some Asian countries and even won the AFC Asian Cup in 2015.

I guess you wanted to hear first hand that people have travelled around schengen hitch free. Well that's the case. I've been to several countries within schengen. I'll be going to three countries in a few days time for my brief summer vacation. So there lies your answer.
It's even much easier to travel around schengen than to travel around Ecowas. Cos here you don't go to border control and you don't show passport. You just stroll in like it's a Lagos to Abuja flight.

I have to admit it does appear aspiring students for MSc with 3rd class (BSc) don't have a chance getting admitted. However, what about if they got some good working experience to go with it? Some German universities do accommodate such folks for admission, can such be said of the Norweigian Universities?

To be honest, anything below a 2.1 will require a miracle for most Norwegian universities. That's because of the competition from across the world in getting free, quality education in Norway. A few schools like NTNU and UiS require you to have at least 4.0 GPA out of 5.0 to be able to apply to them. And 4.0 GPA doesn't guarantee the admission. Experience counts and gives an advantage in addition to having a good GPA, especially when there are so many high GPA applicants.
Unlike Germany, Norway has a much smaller population and as well fewer universities. So that might be a factor causing the stiff competition.
You can check out the course you want and the academic requirements of the school offering it on studyinnorway.no. But personally, I'm yet to come across a school with lower academic requirement.

Yes, it's safe to bring all the above items. I brought dried leaf and Egusi, but not stock fish for personal reasons.
Though I don't go to the fish market cos I only use the grocery stores, I understand the stock fish here is fresh, not dry like we use ours.
My general advice to those coming is: bring more of food spices and soup things than raw food like rice, spaghetti, etc. Those are cheap here.
