deols: I have cousins whom I think have that identity crisis. They grew up as Yorubas but their father is not. That is the basic. Know what you are going to and understand there would be challenges(all marriages do have). May God help us all but don't jump into what you can't cope with it. Even if it is that identity thing alone it would have been better but i have seen where the husband told the wife to always communicate in English when calling her folks and cases were the women are always suspicious of their husbands just because they are left out of a discussion with the husbands family members due to inability to speak same language. , Communication means alot and i would advise anyone going into an inter tribal marriage to learn each others' language. Makes things a lot easier. |

Let me just chip this in. Truth is to each his own beliefs and ideals. I have seen and have very close relatives who have done the inter tribal or even country marriages but the bottomline is you need lots of sacrifices and hardwork to make it work. Marriages are more than just the couples alone and many things do come up from their respective families. There's always that question of identity of the kids and the man may not be too concerned but the lady might be scared of losing one her identity and that of her kids. Let's be realistic, even if the couple are ready to make things work there is always someone, somewhere in each of the families who would want to scuttle things and make it hard for them. If you can bypass this, then goodluck. Before anyone goes into one please settle tihings like the identity of the kids so that no one feels cheated along the way, does the whole family agree and appreciate the choice the two are making and other things. Not discouraging anyone just giving an heads up. Marriage is enough problem not to talk of adding that cultural pressure to it. |
pls cn someone profer sollution to this? I really need help.
Wait are you sure the system has bluetooth? if yes follow this Make sure your Bluetooth device is turned on. Sometimes you can simply flip a switch. Other devices make you hold down a button until its little light begins flashing. From the Start screen, fetch the Charms bar, click the Settings icon, and click the Change PC Settings button. You can summon the Charms bar’s Settings pane in any of three ways: Mouse: Point the cursor at the screen’s top- or bottom-right corner; when the Charms bar appears, click the Settings icon, and then click the Change PC Settings button. Keyboard: Press Windows+I and press Enter. Touchscreen: Slide your finger from the screen’s right edge inward, tap the Settings icon, and then tap Change PC Settings. From the Devices category, click the Add a Device icon. The PC Settings’ Devices pane appears, listing all your connected devices. Your computer quickly begins searching for any nearby Bluetooth devices that want to connect. If your device doesn’t appear, head back to Step 1 and make sure your Bluetooth gadget is still turned on. (Many give up and turn off after 30 seconds of waiting to connect.) When your computer lists your device’s name in the Devices pane, choose the name with a tap or mouse click. Type in your device’s code if necessary and, if asked, click the Pair button. Here’s where things get sticky. For security reasons, you need to prove that you’re sitting in front of your own computer and that you’re not an adjacent stranger trying to break in. Unfortunately, devices employ slightly different tactics when making you prove your innocence. Sometimes you need to type a secret string of numbers called a passcode into both the device and your computer. (The secret code is usually hidden somewhere in your device’s manual.) But you need to type quickly before the other gadget stops waiting. On some gadgets, particularly Bluetooth mice, you hold in a little push button on the mouse’s belly at this step. |
drajjay: i bought a game hardware and try to install but i couldn't .maybe because of my limited knowledge.but i discovered that any disc whether dvd or otherwise refuse to play on my p.c.when i slot in a disc there'll be certain sounds coming from the disc rotor.pls do you have any idea wat the problem might be or possible solutions.right now my pc no longer plays discs inserted to it.thanks for your assistance.Change your cdrom drive> The lens is weak or bad. moscobabs: Thank jare...maybe some people dont read before commentfixed! Abusing people that is not the way to go bro. |
bukatyne: Since we have learnt that a husband dumps his loud mouthed wife in thr gathrring of her inlaws,Maybe when a woman comes here and complain that her husbad has a loud mouth we ould give practical answers. Until then we would face the practical example we have here. Mind you . No one agrees totally that what the man did is right. I do agree its kind of extreme but we dont really know options he has exhuasted just to get his wife to the talking table. He has turn her back, what happens after is my main concern and would justify his actions. Does she change and agree to talk things through in a calm manner anytime they have a disagreement? Would the action help them live as a better couple? Those are what am concerned about. |
kulyie: No doubt its rude to shout and yell at anybody irrespective of gender and age but sending a woman back to her parents house, what do they call that.thank Goodness you now agree theres a problem. How then do you solve it when the two cant communicate? . Yelling and shouting is not communication. From This case, the man wants an amicable resolution but how do you get it when she screams her eyes out? Tell me . How? |

bellong: Depending on the door.. A little force can open most doors...yes true! but what happens after you barge open that door with force might not be desirable. how is things at that end? Good i presume? |
yellowpawpaw: Bla bla bla doesn't solve a problem, stubborness doesn't pay, bad mouth doesn't make u smart. Use ur head and still get what u want from ur man 100%Most ladies dont understand that simple secret. A man always has a soft spot, discover this and he would answer to your whims and caprices. The yorubas have a simple saying that your bulkiness or largeness does not open a door ,its someone with the key that unlocks the door. Its that simple. You dont need to shout , huff and puff before you get what you want. Wisdom is the key. And before the feminists pound on me am not saying you should go pandering but use your wisdom. There is a reason God gave you that brain . Use it. |
The issue here isn't about the woman getting fed up with the man's mode of communication. It's the other way round. And it's not about being seen and not heard. I'm talking about decorum - ever heard that word? A woman doesn't have to shout and rave to get her point across. Infact, that would only set her husband's back up against her and even if he did agree or was prone to agreeing with her points, the fact that she put them across so disrespectfully is enough for him to kick against them or block his ears to reason. Men have pride too you know. Besides a smart woman knows how to get the impossible from her man without ever having to raise her voice. Ask the men around here and let's see who'll agree that his woman / wife / girlfriend succeeds in getting what she wants from them by shouting and yelling at them. Kulyie, when something's bad, admit it. Stop covering up crass and uncouth behaviour in blind and quite frankly, mis-directed feminine support. It is rude to yell and shout at another human being - kids, your mates, friends, parents and moreso, your husband!
abi.... why do you have to yell when am not deaf? Even doing it to the point that neigbours now know whenever there is a disagreement. People have been saying "sit her down " "sit her down" How do you communicate and resolve issues if she wont allow you even talk without shouting? Abeg sending her back home is good perharps she would listen to her parents since she cant be talked to by her partner. |
Guys stop condemning the guy. THE thread is a good one. I guess you didnt read the end where there is a caveat. These things happen a lot. |
how sure are you..cos there is difference btw dedicated and integrated graphics memory.. Lemme confirm the 2gb u stated above EDITED: it has upto 1696MB...but that doesn't really count..btw its INTEL GRAPHICS..:\ but for gaming and shii it might not be up 64MB... Like mine, it has 2776MB nvidia Geforce and 1024mb dedicated graphics memory.. So it's the dedicated that matters for gaming I stand to be corrected
you are very correct. He should state what he wants to use the pc for first might you recommenations |
Mai pride: Why do bad things happen to good people sometimesLife does suck sometimes. But just try to take the positives out of any situation. Not only good people do bad things happen to; but everyone. It just depends on how you take things an move on with hope and faith in your heart that you can turn things around for the better. |
