Let me add that if you like the idea of two beautiful women together, then you actually like and appreciate homosexuality, just a particular kind.
I'd be willing to be that there are a lot of men who look at lesbian porn while saying how much they hate homosexuals. |

KingEbukasBlog: What?! North Korea is a quintessence of an atheist nation . Those leaders proclaimed themselves as gods because they are megalomaniacs
Some Atheists believe in spirituality and not personal God and gods Look at what they do, not what they say. These people are held up as god-like figures. Why else would they say that Kim Jong Un made 23 consecutive holes-in-one the first time he played golf? They have a religion, of which the gods are the Kims. There are indeed atheists who believe in a type of spirituality but you will not find many who believe in the type of miracles that the North Korean press claims. |

But block-heads like you have never heard of those countries. North Korea is not atheist. Their gods are their dead leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. If you need proof then look at the 'miracles' that have been attributed to them--great signs supposedly occurred at their births and so on. Atheists don't believe in miracles or miraculous signs. |

Joshthefirst: It seems you have a problem with the definition of faith. Faith is not a lack of evidence. Someone somewhere has convinced you that faith involves an unreasonable lack of evidence of phenomena. That is not the case.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen. Have you ever seen your brain? Have you ever seen oxygen? An atom? Mars?
You have faith in plenty of things my friend. Faith is what enables us to forge through every challenge and even life itself.
You analogy of faith, and what my faith implies is insulting and offensive to me. Faith is defined as the following: "strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof." Faith does not help me get through anything. If I believe that atoms exist, it is because researchers have shown indirect but logical and compelling proof that atoms exist. Same with the theory of evolution. Offense was not intended by me. However I stand by what I wrote. |

Joshthefirst: No. You do have faith. Everyone has faith. You believe there's an organ called a brain in your cranial cavity, you believe that when you go to bed you'll fall asleep, you believe you won't suddenly lose fine motor function in your fingers when you eventually reply this post. That is not faith, I know I have a brain because all humans who have been studied have been shown to have one in order to function. This is perfectly good evidence that I must also have one. I certainly believe that I will go to sleep when I go to bed, because I have plenty of evidence from past experience. This is not faith. Now, if I said I could fly by flapping my arms, then that would be faith, because people cannot fly like that and so I have no evidence to suggest otherwise. |

Amberon11: what were the conflicting claims? Even the Muslims acknowledge Jesus and most of the biblical stories to be true. That's about 4billion people who believe that Jesus Christ existed, along with loads of archeological findings to back the biblical history. So who is lying to who here? That Jesus died on the cross? That Jesus is the son of God? That the trinity explains the relationship between Jesus and God? That Muhammad was a prophet? All of these are differences between Muslims and Christians that are not minor. These are profound differences and both cannot be correct. Therefore somebody is lying. Or both are lying. |

hockeyoilers: The beauty of Sharia Law.
For example: do you know where the concept of a “jury of your peers” comes from? It emerged directly from Sharia law, not Western jurisprudence. The Islamic lafif—a twelve-member group of ordinary people, neighbours and peers sworn to tell the truth and give a unanimous verdict in a trial—settled matters of judicial truth long before the concept of a jury found its way into English law.
jury-of-your-peers Wrong. The English jury comes from old Scandinavian traditions of discussion groups, which were very important in their culture. And there is zero evidence to suggest that a particular form of trial in the Middle East was transferred to England while skipping over all those other cultures that it would have had to pass through. And even 1000 years before Islam, the Greeks used juries for trials of guilt or innocence. (see the trial of Socrates) |

Scholar8200: Well this reply is not for you since you are not a Jew.
However, these were the same people Jesus said made God's Law void by their traditions! At the time Jesus came, they were expecting a Political Messiah that is why at a time, they tried to force Him to be a king and after resurrection, even the disciples were asking if He will restore the Kingdom to Israel immediately!
However, if they had considered Daniel 9:26, it will be clear that the Messiah was to be killed as Isaiah 53 also showed.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: Daniel 9:26
That is one aspect they did not seem to grasp. In fact, some assumed two Messiahs -one will die according to prophecies while the other will take over politically. They did not understand that there will be two advents for the same Person because there will be a resurrection after death ! I understand why Christians say that Jesus is the Messiah; however, as you know, the Jews have their own reasons and their own interpretations as to why they think he is not. This argument has gone on for 2000 years and isn't likely to go away soon. |

KingEbukasBlog: Muslim ? Im not a muslim . Please stop making false claims . History is there and the birth of Jesus Christ is true .
If you think there was no such one as Jesus Christ the Messiah , you can provide a video to substantiate such claims . If you not , you are the one lying .
Is that a tough task ? Nowhere did I say that Jesus did not exist. I merely stated that lies were told thousands of years ago, and nowhere did I imply that you were muslim. If you compare the Gospels as well as the letters of the various early Christians, you will see that enough contradictions mean that at least someone was lying. By the way, according to Jewish tradition, Jesus could not have been the Messiah, which is why they reject him. So even here someone is lying. I tend to agree that he was not the Messiah because I don't believe there is one at all. |

I am an atheist, but an agnostic one. I believe that this life is all there is, but I cannot say for sure that this is true, since there is no real evidence one way or the other.
People, I think, created the idea of life after death to avoid having to deal with the idea that death is final.
Ultimately, we are made of star dust, and the molecules that make up our bodies were present in the Big Bang, so in a sense we are eternal. |

Phero: I am a Christian and I believe God exist buh there are some things that baffle me and I find hard to believe being an enthusiast person below they are written:
•Why did God put the fruit of knowledge in the garden of eden when he knows it can tempt Adam and eve. •Why does he destroy and totally eliminates his enemies an example is when he ordered Saul to destroy the amalikites and when he spared them he punished Saul. •How could prophet Jeremiah order bears to eat up children that mocked him. •Why does he create evil, natural disasters and punish people if he is really a merciful God. •According to the Bible the devil was second in command that is second after God when he rebelled against God,God sent him away down to the earth to cause chaos. •Why did he make Blacks to be back word and uncivilized. •Why does he favour a group of people over others. •why did he create hell fire to punish those who goes against him?. These stories are all man-made and resemble many other mythologies created in thousands of traditional societies around the world. Looking for logical explanations will not get you very far. |
