This article is my opinion.. Christian Ozor As the rise in unemployment rate among graduates continues, many people believe that the inability of Nigerian graduates to secure a job is due to the failure in the part of the Government. Others are of the opinion that the education system doesn’t produce employable graduates. Our educational system is far from better. Lack of good educational infrastructures, bad curriculum , ASUU strike and bad learning environment. All these still points to the Government because they basically funds the institutions. However, we are not here to argue or looking for who to put the blame on but the way forward. Which way forward? Entrepreneurship. Entrepreneur is the future. We have to create our own individual economy. Is time for the economy to spread across start-ups and young emerging companies rather than established ones. Since there are limited jobs available for millions of graduates, is time for the Government implement a functional entrepreneurial system. This system involves : 1. Adding Entrepreneurial studies into the educational curriculum in High school- If Government should add entrepreneurial study in high school curriculum, it will prepare the minds of the students to the challenges ahead. It helps them make strategic decisions and plans on the path to follow career wise, and how to make use of their skills to make a better life for themselves. The Government should also add entrepreneurial studies into the curriculum in higher institutions. 2. This system should also be able to train young high school leavers and undergraduates with various kinds of skills and vocational training that would be beneficial to them and the society. They earn money with their skills and create their own economy. 3. Government should be able to provide funding- If after training and no funds available for them to stay on their own this system would definitely fail. Government needs to provide adequate funding to the trainees, this will help them start-up something for themselves after the training. This funds should also be available to those who wants to go into any form of business. 4. Government should provide adequate power supply- For entrepreneurship to thrive well in an emerging economy, adequate power supply is needed. Established brands may not be worried about power because they can afford to get and power their generating sets. But what about young and emerging brands and start-ups who needs adequate power to remain afloat. Majority of start-ups needs power. Government providing adequate power would make the process easier. If the Government can create a functional entrepreneurial system, over 50% of unemployment challenges would be solved. More companies will be created, businesses will emerge. The economy would spread from the major players(Big brands) to smaller companies. As the young companies and entrepreneurs grow, jobs are created because they tend to employ people, the economy would spread. They tend to create their own individual economy which they control. This would lessen the burden on the Government. http://www.hovabuzz.com/news/615-nigerian-graduates-and-unemployment-the-way-forward |

Me still dry observe this man Davis. Hope is not doing this to cause katakana in naija. Abi dem send am |
Australian negotiator Stephen Davis is getting bolder by the day. The Negotiator who accused former Borno Governor, Alimodu Sheriff of sponsoring Boko haram activities. He asked the Ex-Governor to sue him. Sheriff had threatened to sue the Australian negotiator at a press conference on Wednesday. According to TheCable, Davis said if Alimodu Sheriff goes to court, evidences to prove he has connections with the sect will be produced. "He is worried, is he? He knows that if he goes to court, the evidence will be produced and he cannot escape justice. Let him go to court if that is what he wishes. It is his right to do so. He will not be able to avoid close examination and then the facts will be known. Good luck to him if he decides to sue me in Australia. He can’t buy the judges here. Truth is not for sale. Australia has zero toleration for those who might sponsor terrorism." No one should be above the law whether in Australia or Nigeria. Justice must be served for every Nigerian killed, every girl and boy kidnapped, every girl raped, every person who has lost their home in the course of this violence. It seems to me the extent of involvement of every person named by Boko Haram as a sponsor should be closely and thoroughly examined by the correct authorities. I read his defence on the media this week. Rather than come out as a statement of facts, it read like a novel of unconvincing fiction. In the last 48 hours, I have been in touch with some commanders of the group and they maintain their stand on Sheriff’s involvement. Sheriff’s ploy of casting himself as a victim is a poor attempt at disguising his sponsorship as alleged by the Boko Haram commanders.” he said http://www.hovabuzz.com/news/550-australian-negotiator-stephen-davis-dares-sheriff-if-he-can-sue-him |

The last couple of days has been agog with sad, negative impression, fears in the Christian dome. Our ears has been filled with dramas, people condemning Nigerian men of God for living expensive and luxurious lives at the expense of their church members. Abeg make we leave the matter for another time. Currently trending is the divorce news, or should I call it drama between renowned man of Gog, Founder and General overseer of Believers Loveworld, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his delectable wife, Anita. 2010, it was on the news that there was a problem in their marriage which caused Pastor Chris to relocate to south Africa while his wife Anita moved to the U.K to head the church’s branches. All hopes by family, friends and close church members to bring them together has remained futile. I even read in a popular website that Pastor Chris’s father who happens to be a Pastor in Edo, was trying all he could to bring his son and Anita together again, but it wasn’t working. According to the news site, it was said that why Pastor Anita was being adamant on reconciling with Chris was because of his infidelity. It was reported that Pastor Chris’s dad has confirmed his son’s infidelity couple of times. He had once caught him with an unknown lady when he visited. The lady who is believed to be a minister in the church, Christ Embassy, and Pastor Chris were inside the his matrimonial house and on a compromising position. Pastor Chris had his head laid on the lady’s laps. That didn’t go well on the part of his dad. This as reported by the website Last week, news sites, blogs and social media sites were agog with a fire breaking headline, that Pastor Anita had already filed for divorce in April in a notable court in the U.K due to irreconcilable differences and infidelity on the part of Pastor Chris. It was reported in June that Pastor Chris accused his wife of following bad friends who is deceiving and influencing her. But come to think of this, with the divorce proceedings going on, is this the end of Pastor Chris and Anita Oyakhilome’s Union? Is this the beginning of the end of the Oyakhilomes? Because as this events are ongoing, there church and its members surfers. No one is left out. What they have built for years, the people they have nurtured, spiritually, their kids, they all will surfer. Even the Christian dome, because so many have come to believe that Nigerian pastors don’t care about their members. They only care about their pockets. They don’t practice what they preach. This indeed will be a great prove, evidence to prove them right that most some Nigerian pastors don’t practice what they preach. While we are still waiting for the “robust reply” and getting pass it for the one that happened last year with a popular Abuja based pastor accused of sleeping with one of his members and other women in the church, the Oyakhilomes are now hitting us in our faces. It takes a million step to build a good reputation , But it takes one silly act to destroy everything. The last time I checked, marriage is for better or for worse and we should learn to forgive. Divorce is not supported. So why can’t the Oyakhilomes settle this. Pastor has always taught us to pray and ask God to take his place in our lives. He’s the only one that can solve our problems if we give him the chance. Can’t he solve this problem of the Oyakhilomes, or maybe they didn’t give him the chance? Every day, it seems the ship is sinking more, the sore is becoming wide and the corruption spreading. We now read different twists and more fearful news about the Oyakhilome. Some days ago, it was discovered that Pastor Chris has removed every information about his wife, Anita from the church website. And some of us are still asking, which way for this family as the “irreconcilable differences” is becoming irreconcilable to them Their two lovely daughters Charlene and Sharon Oyakhilome, who currently resides with their mom in the U.K, the lovely girls will become the children of a broken home if the court eventually dissolve their parents’ marriage. As we are trying to digest the Pastor Chris and Anita Oyakhilome’s issue, we read in the news again that one of Pastor Chris’s cousin, Pastor Ken Oyakhilome got a South African lady pregnant and made her abort the child. If this is true, which way the Oyakhilomes. Practice what you preach ooooooo. Practice it very well. So many people are coming up on social media platforms, expressing their displeasure and accusing some of the Christ Embassy pastors of sleeping with Church ministers and random women in the church. Well, I rest my matter here. I know God in Heaven is watching and we are praying for the Oyakhilomes to pull through this. http://www.hovabuzz.com/news/530-christ-embassy-and-keeping-up-with-the-oyakhilomes |

The Doctor that treated late Patrick sawyer for Ebola, Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh died yesterday morning of the disease. Dr Ameyo is the consultant physician, who had contracted the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) from the Liberian, Mr. Patrick Sawyer. She died at the age of 58, and survived by her husband and a son. Meanwhile, popular blogger, stella dimoko has asked President Jonathan and Governor fashola for the late Dr Ameyo to be celebrated. Here is her memo.. MEMO TO PRESIDENT JONATHAN OF NIGERIA CC:GOVERNOR FASHOLA OF LAGOS STATE CC: ALL GOVERNORS WHO WISH TO TAKE NOTE. Dr Ameyo died yesterday but she will live on in our hearts as a heroine..........The women who saved Nigeria from a catastrophic Ebola outbreak! If not for her Patrick Sawyer, the man who entered Nigeria officially with the dreaded virus who have infected many more people than can be imagined and the virus would have spread. Dr Ameyo refused to bow down to pressures from powers that be to release the sick Liberian when she insisted that he be quarantined. Her single move has saved Nigeria. The Federal government is yet to release a press statement mourning her passage and I find that shocking...do they not know? does she need to be a politician before the necessary is done? I hereby submit that the Late Dr Ameyo Adedavoh be given a posthumous National heroine's award to acknowledge her selfless act which cost her her life and took also that of other medical personnel. This is just a suggestion which of cos can be ignored but anyone who has human feelings will file this down and do the needful.....Yes,I am addressing President Jonathan and Governor Fashola directly because Dr Ameyo died a heroine's death in Lagos and because she is a Nigerian citizen! http://www.hovabuzz.com/news/494-the-death-of-dr-ameyo-who-treated-late-patrick-sawyer-fg-fashola-asked-to-celebrate-her |
