Health / 12-Year-Old Boy Barks Like A Dog After A Dog Bite (Pics, Video) by onismate: 9:19am On Jul 13, 2017
Some months back one of my 5 year old nephew came shouting and crying that their neighbor’s dog licked his leg. You need go see the way the mum grabbed him and took him to the hospital. She thought its wasn’t only lick, probably the kid was also beaten by the dog because of the way he was shouting and crying. The doctors confirmed he wasn’t beaten. The kid’s dad was like, “ordinary lick wey dog lick him leg that’s why the mom took him to the hospital.”
Even me sef didn’t take it serious. But many have died from ignorance and dog bite.

But we have to be conscious of our health and for those who have dogs as pets, if a rabies dog a person or your kid, take them to the hospital to be treated because if not, the person may die. If after dog bite and the person is not treated, after a week or two, they start barking like a dog and end up dead.

This is a video of a 12 year old boy beaten by a dog that has rabies. He wasn’t treated, and now he has started barking like a dog. They are seriously fighting to save his life.

According to some health personnel, they say he might not make it because it has affected his brain and some other parts.

Well my heart goes out to his family, hope and pray he comes out of this. I pray God heals him. Amen

Crime / 4 Conditions Evans Must Fulfill For Nigerians To Forgive & Free Him;(my Opinion) by onismate: 8:47am On Jun 19, 2017
2 days ago the photo of the wife and children of Caught kidnap king pin Evans surface online. The photo showed the wife and kids crying and pleading for Nigerians to forgive the husband and father, Evans.
Well, dear wife of Evans, Nigerians are good people, we can forgive so that God can forgive us. Infact some of us have had your cry, I have forgiven your husband but he can’t be freed. But your husband can only be free from the punishment and consequences of his sins if only he can fulfill this 4 conditions, and I feel he should be freed.
Evans should dance naked in 3 cities: Evans is from Nnewi, he should be made to dance naked in Nnewi first, then Lagos and sokoto. As he would be dancing naked in those cities, children will be clapping and following him, shouting “Evans Onyeoshi” (Evans thief). This will be done within 1 week.
All the properties he acquired should be taken from him: Evans has to forfeit all his properties including the cloths he’s wearing. His wife and children should relocate from that Ghana they are back to Nigeria, they have to start from square one. Lolz.
His wife and children should be made to cry for one (1) week publicly: We all saw the way the wife and the kids cried for public sympathy, let them come out cry like that publicly for one week.
They will wake up in the morning, go to Choba roundabout, Uniport in Port Harcourt and start crying, every day for one week from 7am to 4pm without food, just only water. As they are crying people will be snapping and recording them oo. No fake tears oo.
Evans wife and kids should be kidnapped for 6 months: I don’t know how they would do this one, if they would act this one out or. But it shouldn’t be acted out, it should be real. His wife and kids should be kidnapped and taken to an unknown destination. Everything evans did to people he kipnapped, let it also be done to his family and kids. If he had fed people he kidnapped once a day, let the same be done for his family. If he beat them, let his family be beaten too.
He should also be made to negotiate with the kidnappers of his family, let him go through that trauma. If he’s able to negotiate, find the way to make the kidnappers to free his family, that means him and his family are free. Once he can rescue his family, they are free to go from this last step. Nobody will harass them. He should just take his family and go.

Dear Evans wife, if you and your family can abide by these conditions till the fourth step, you are free to go. Go in peace.

Health / Why Nigerian Doctors And Nurses Are Massively Relocating Abroad by onismate: 9:37am On Jun 03, 2017
This should sound as concern to the Nigerian Government and ministry of health. Few weeks ago I read on the news that Nigeria medical industry is short staffed, and there is a need for more doctors and nurses.

But the shame is that, in as much we are in need of more doctors and nurses in Nigeria, many of the few we have some of them are massively relocating to foreign countries to work. Does it mean that Nigeria trains doctors and nurses for other countries to make use of? I don’t really blame them. My sister is a nurse, so many of her nurse and doctor friends have moved abroad in search of greener pastures. And guess what, they are in high demand abroad. Our Nigerian Doctors and nurses are good.

My sister said they don’t value them here, there services are not really appreciated and there are no proper medical infrastructure. The pay in most of the foreign countries are much higher than in Nigeria.

Imagine some doctors being paid N250,000 with over work. But when their friends move to another country and begin to earn close to $20,000 to $30,000 or even more per month. Just convert it to Naira. He will tell his fellow doctor friends in Nigeria. Then the ones in Nigeria will feel they are losing out. Due to the high demand of doctors and nurses oversees, the other doctors in Nigeria will equally fight their way to go abroad, leaving us with fewer doctors.

Few weeks ago, a hospital in California offered about $20,000 to my sister’s friend who is a nurse. This one na monthly pay oo. And how much is she earning here? Just N150,000. The lady will soon finally move, others have left.

Nigerian Government should do something fast. We need massive restructuring of our health sector, from infrastructure to wages so Nigerians will have a better health care system. So our doctors and nurses won’t be relocating abroad.

Romance / Check Out What A Man Does To His Wife To Prevent Her From Being Richer Than Him by onismate: 2:40am On May 23, 2017
Some men could be very wicked. Looking at them you presume they are special assistants to the devil sent into the world to slow women down. Some men don’t want their wives to be richer and better than them. They even stand as the devil preventing their wives from achieving their goals.
There is this man who openly talked about what he was doing to his wife because he doesn’t want his wife to be richer than him.
This man said his wife is a good and loving woman but earns a little and slightly more than him. And she also knows how to save well. Any time he notices that wifey’s account is getting swollen more than his own, he would ask wifey to borrow him N500,000. Sometimes he would even ask for N700,000, N1m sef. And he won’t pay back and if wifey refuses, he would make the home ungovernable, there won’t be peace as he would send down fire on that home that his wife would be forced to release the money. And not that he needs the money oo. He’s just doing it to make sure wifey’s account is not fatter than his.
This man said he recently bought a new car. Though not with his money but the one he collected from wifey. Not that he needed a car oo. And sometimes if his wife wants to use the car, he would remove something from the car which will make it not to function well. Na so car go dey give wifey problem. But if na him, the car go work well. He said he’s doing it to prove his power and superiority over his wife.
Is it how to prove that a man is more powerful and superior to his wife?

Health / How Poor Health Care And Nigerians Are Killing The Health System by onismate: 9:04am On May 13, 2017
My sister is a nurse, I have always wanted to do this post but has been postponing it. But something happened some 4 days ago. A friend of ours died of high blood sugar. She’s just 25 and recently finished her NYSC. Many of us were unhappy because this death could have been averted.
All that made my sister advising that we should take care of our health. Not every time we blame the devil but we are the cause of our misfortune. So I am doing this so we all can be careful, learn so we can live a better life.
Here are seven (7) ways Nigerians and the health system are killing themselves.
Wrong diagnosis: This is general problem but in the case of Nigerian doctors and hospitals they get away with it easily. Few years ago a 5 year old boy was diagnose of HIV. Na so them begin treat this small pikin for about 1 year and the child was not getting better. Not until they went to another hospital and they found out it was just malaria parasites. Thank God the child has grown stronger. And the first hospital that diagnosed the child for HIV is University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH)
Wrong diagnosis has killed so many Nigerians and still killing.
Inability of patients to Confirm diagnosis in another hospital: Nigerian health care system is boring, poor and the Government is not willing to do much. Please try and confirm diagnosis from 2 or 3 different hospitals before concluding. Na so Federal medical center for Asaba (FMC) diagnose my aunty of tumor in her leg. The leg was seriously swollen and paining her. The drugs given to her was not working and she couldn’t go to work or move for 3 weeks. Not until my sister who is a nurse asked her to run another test in another hospital for another ailment which she did and they discovered it was just a slight ailment which they began the treatment. Now she’s alright now and has resumed work.
If you are diagnose of any ailment in a hospital, try and run another test in another hospital to confirm.
Wrong prescription: Many people have died of wrong prescription. Treating Typhoid fever with tuberculosis drugs. We have heard of many cases where drugs prescribed by doctors to patients end up damaging and causing internal problems for the patient.
Self-medication: In as much sometimes self-medication could be cheaper and helpful, there are times it brings about damage that cannot be able to reverse. Am sure some of us have heard cases of people who had an ailment, they refused going to the hospital, rather opt to self-medicate and end up hurting their health. If you are sick or you notice any form of symptoms, abeg waka go hospital.
Carelessness and Carefree Attitude: So many of us are so carefree with our health that we don’t care what goes into our mouths and stomachs. The lady friend i mentioned earlier that died. She had been told by doctor that she was diabetic. According to what I learnt, she rarely goes for checkup, no medication, she eats any damn food and she’s fat. Her blood sugar even rose to 500 according to test few minutes before her death.
We all need to be conscious of our health and what goes into our system.
Nigerian Poor Health Care System: We all will agree that we don’t have a good health care system. Most of our politicians don’t treat themselves here in Nigeria. They go abroad to do so. So na we ordinary Nigerians go dey use the system. In most developed countries, it’s a rare case to hear that a woman died while delivering. But in Nigeria it’s just so common. When a woman is about to deliver, na so fear go dey catch everybody for the family. Nigeria has a very poor health care system.
Poor emergency handling: Nigerian hospitals, doctors are too slow, poor in handling emergency cases. A patient who is dying is brought into the hospital, sometimes it will even take hours them to start treating the patient. Sometimes the patient sef go don die sef before them go respond. For Christ sake this is an emergency situation, attend to patients fast.
Presently, the family of the lady that died of high blood sugar are trying to sue the doctor of the first hospital they took her to. The late girl was still alive for some hours when they took her there. I don’t know how they said it that the doctor was unable to attend to her. Nigerian doctors and hospitals should attend to emergency cases with swift and emergency.

Phones / Here Are 7 Categories Of People you will Find on Nigeria Twitter space by onismate: 8:23am On May 10, 2017
Lately I have noticed that Nigerian twitter space is fast changing and breeding savages. Sometimes person go dey even fear to enter twitter or even tweet sef. Because any small thing people will just come for your head for no reason. And, it’s now looking as if Twitter is the new blog.
The Nigerian Twitter is entertaining and you get to see many things there. Now here are 7 categories of people you can find on Nigerian Twitter space.
The trouble makers: This category of people have nothing much to tweet. Their own is just going around to look for troubles, abusing celebrities, politicians and other people without any good reason. Don’t argue with them because they always come prepared, dishing out epic responses to tweets. Any small thing them don dey abuse you. And they always look for scape goats on twitter space. This kind of people once you upload a simple photo of you, they must have something bad to say concerning the photo.
The follow for follow back people: This ones, they go around on twitter begging people to follow and follow back. They do it especially to celebrities. They follow you and give retweets to many of your tweets, beg you to follow them back. When you follow back give them few minutes and they will unfollow you.
The bloggers: This categories of people are the ones sourcing for news, gossips on the platform. They are the ones looking for who is giving an epic response and reactions. They are mostly following conversations to get the latest gist.
The entertainers: This ones are the musicians, artistes and other entertainers who give us a daily dose of entertainment, most especially comedians who often upload their comedy skits.
Observers: This group of people rarely tweet, but just observe. You might think they are not active but no, they know almost everything happening only that they don’t want to participate. Dem no want trouble, wey person come dey call them out.
The Memes people: This category of people are just putting up memes. They are probably the most funniest, almost putting up memes. They reply tweet with funny memes. I know of people who rarely reply with text. They will just create one meme to reply you.
E-Warriors or war mongers: This ones are mostly used by celebrities and politicians to attack their critics. Some are paid agents. Just criticize any of their favourite person and see them calling for your head. The way they will jump on you like lions devouring an antelope. Their responses are epic, majority have turn themselves to savages on twitter. I have actually been a victim of this category of people when I wrote a write-up and criticized a popular Nigerian artist. Na so them come in their dozens on me for twitter.

Family / Bad Tenants: Tenants Refuses to pay my uncle rent for over 2 years by onismate: 9:08am On May 09, 2017
Sometimes nice people always carry last. When you are too nice people take you for granted. Is it a crime to be nice to people? People will come up to ask for assistance, if you don’t assist people would say you are wicked. When you assist, you will land yourself in trouble.
This is exactly the situation my uncle who is a Pastor and landlord in Abuja is facing presently. My Uncle who is a pastor built his house, four (4) flats. He moved into one of the flat and handed over the other three (3) flats to a lawyer to get tenants who will occupy them. The lawyer too is a pastor.
Could you believe that two of the occupants, or former occupants has refused to pay him after the first year. The first occupant is a Pastor in RCCG where my uncle too is a pastor. This family refused to pay the N240,000 one year rent. They occupied the house, bought a car and even built their own house. They have finally moved into their own house and yet refused to pay the man they lived in his house before building their own. This man will be cruising in his own car, going around telling people that my uncle is a nice man. A pastor for that matter! He will be lifting up his holy hands in the church, praising God and forming a righteous being.
The second tenant owes my uncle N1.2M for two whole years. The woman, her husband stays abroad. For the past 2 months now they are yet to see the woman. We are hearing that she has joined her husband overseas without paying her N1.2m. Though her loads are still inside the house.
One of the painful part is that the Lawyer who is a pastor too is not helping matters. For the past one year, my uncle has been disturbing the lawyer to try and get his money back. The lawyer will tell him to calm down that they will pay. See now, the other one don build house pack comot. The other one, dem no see her. Maybe she don go join her husband for abroad.
It’s painful because my uncle is not happy and he’s becoming frustrated. If he complains, they will tell him that he should remember he’s a zonal pastor and he should take it easy. And now they are taking him for granted.
Sometimes I don’t blame some landlords who issue strict conditions and laws before living in their houses. People will blame them, but some tenants are terrible and special assistants to the devil. It look as if they are sent by the devil to make your life and house miserable.
Okay see now, the other tenant who is owing but was building his house. He even bought a car. Later he would go to church and be singing, “open the flood gates oh yea heaven.”

Crime / Pickpocketing: Comparison Of How They Operate In Abuja And Lagos With Experience by onismate: 8:22am On May 08, 2017
For someone who have stayed in Lagos and Abuja, having experience and seen bad guys doing pick pocketing. I will just compare pick pocketing in Lagos and Abuja with my experience, there different styles and techniques

Lagos Pickpocket

I could remember last year I came into Lagos, though not my first time. With my back and overload of confidence as if my dad is the Governor. I had Earpiece on my ears and plugged to my phone listening to music. The phone was inside the pocket of my trouser. I walked to the Oshodi overhead bridge to cross to the other side were I will get a danfo cab that will take me to Iyana Ipaja. Some of us know how crowded that bridge is when people are walking by. Before I knew what was happening, the connector of my earpiece dropped out of my pocket. “It has happened, welcome to Lagos.” My phone was gone. It was just like a magic, I couldn’t even explain how manage they did it. I have been pickpocketed. That was the day I respected Lagos pickpockets. I was so devastated but I moved on.

Abuja Pickpocket

Abuja pickpockets, they are masters inside the car and they do it aggressively. Their own na thief or arm robbery. I could remember one evening I was coming from Lagos. I entered Abuja late at night. I entered a taxi in Berger heading to Dutse. As I enter, na so about 3 guys enter the car too. I was with my phone browsing. Na so I remove my earpiece from my ear so if anything dey happen I go dey aware. We were sitting at the back and I was sitting close to the door. One of the guys stretched his hand and was whining down the glass window which is the side I was sitting. The way he was doing it, his hand was going close to my left pocket. Na so I tell the guy say e don do because I was sitting close to the window. That was much air was coming in and I was feeling cold. I looked to see the other window door and the guy and his friends didn’t make any attempt to whine it down. “why e come be say na my own dem dey whine down!” I kept quiet as the journey continued. They got to their destination and refused to come down. They told the driver to move further. Finally they dropped and want to pay. One of the guys turned round to the window side where I was sitting. Immediately I saw him, because I was still browsing with my phone, I brought down my phone and was looking at him. Everything about the guys were suspicious. I felt he wanted to snatch my phone from me. After they paid and left, the driver moved. The driver asked I should check my pockets and everything if they are not missing. Na so I check and nothing was missing. He said I should thank God because he was watching from the front mirror what was happening at the back. He said the guys were pickpockets. And the rate at which they pickpocket in Abuja is increasing and if they didn’t succeed, they use violence, rob you.

With this, guys who pickpocket in Lagos are more smart and fast that when they rob you, it will look like magic. Abuja pick pockets are still learning and they are mostly done in a violent way.

Phones / Nigerians Like Showing Off On Social Media Because Of These 5 Reasons by onismate: 8:25am On May 01, 2017
Human beings love showing off. They show of their new accessories, luxuries they have acquired. This is the age of social media. They don’t need to carry it around, they only need to upload the photos of what they’ve got on social media.

But I have never seen citizens of any country show off what they’ve got on social media more than Nigerians. They show off almost everything they do, what they buy, how they buy, their next move and actions. Some practically live their lives on social media. But trust me, most of the things they show off are fakes. They live fake lives.

Here are five reasons why Nigerians show off so much on social media. Please note, this is my opinion.

To intimidate and oppress other people: Many of us Nigerians like to prove that we are better than other people. We show off on social media most times, using what we’ve got to intimidate other people, so they will feel oppressed. We Nigerians love been exulted more than other people.

For Acceptance: Some of us feel that in order for us to be accepted by the society or people, we need to prove our achievements, show that we are progression. So when they see that we are making it, they would accept and focus their attention on us.

Look let me tell you, you owe no man any explanation. You don’t need to prove yourself by showing off.

Pressure
: I don’t need to blame people in this category as much. Your mates are doing well updating on the new houses, cars and accessories they’ve got. But you, you are yet to find your feet. You will be on pressure to achieve so you can also show of your achievements. So when you have any little achievements, you show it off. Till you get the bigger ones, na so you go dey show off.

To encourage other people: I love this reason so much. They genuinely tell their testimonies to encourage other people, motivate them to work hard. When we see other people who have done it, we are encouraged to do better.

Enemies/Haters: So of us have created their own enemies in their heads by themselves. I read some posts where some people will show off their new acquisition, they keep on mentioning “haters” all around. My dear, if you are really concentrating on your business, you won’t have time for haters. You don’t need to show off to give them highpertention.

Jobs/Vacancies / Inspiring Job Hunting Story:she Finally Got A Job After Over 50 Job Interviews by onismate: 7:59am On Apr 25, 2017
Here is her inspiring story which I believe would motivate someone not to give up.
Story narrated by her and written by me Christian C. Ozor.
I finished my NYSC February 2015. I was so alive and happy. I thought all would be easy job hunting, not until it hits me after staying for 4 months and after 7 interviews without any job. It was dawned on me that I was on a long thing. Frustration has set in. Some of my mates we graduated together has gotten a better job. Some sef don start to dey plan marriage. My man was putting pressure on me to come see my parents. I told him to hold on for a while. He is just a secondary school teacher. I don’t want a situation we give birth to children that we can’t cater for. No be say him salary big sef.
I was so worried that I had to apply as a primary school teacher where I was paid N7,000 monthly. I started the job just to be leaving home, but the place was just like a second hell. The proprietress of the school was the devil’s special assistant. After hours in class plus the extra lessons giving to the kids, the proprietress would refuse to pay us lesson fees of N3,000. She was only paying us teachers N7,000 monthly then pockets the lesson fees. Coupled with the problem was her authoritative manner and behavior. Each time she comes to work she expects you to come to her office to bow and greet her. Every day was abuses and insults from her. Sometimes parents will abuse and humiliate teachers and she would do nothing. The high point for me was when she brought policemen to arrest some teachers that they stole her money. Na so I find my level waka,
I spent 3 and half months at the school and I lost a lot of weight. Where I will keep on shouting and controlling kids. It wasn’t easy at all, and there were no benefits. All the period I was there I was still applying for other jobs and went for couple of interviews.
I was at home for a month before a friend of mine advised me to go into photography. I should join him so he would be teaching me. She convinced me that photography is a good business venture. Na so I join the guy. But I never lasted up to 3 months because I never had any passion for photography. What I have passion for is to be a great accountant and economic strategist. I have ICAN and other certifications.
I couldn’t handle camera well plus my lack of focus and passion for photography as a profession made me left it. I was at home for 3 months and was still applying for other jobs. I went for interviews which all of them didn’t work out.
A friend of mine told me about an NGO that are looking for volunteer workers. Na so I shout “God forbid!” ‘volunteer workers without pay!’ But this my friend encouraged me that it would boost my CV and who knows, the NGO might may start paying me as time went on. I finally agreed and started working for the NGO. Infact I enjoyed the job. I was part of the account officers and we had a very well furnished office. Even though the organization was making millions monthly, I was not paid but I was still happy money is going to some right channels.
I was sent on an errand which made me absent from the office for 2 days. The next day I was to resume. I was preparing to go when some things came up which delayed me for some hours. After that I was about hitting the road when I got a call from a friend who works close to my office. He was trying to ask where I was, and if I was among those arrested by EFCC. “Which arrest” I asked. Na there he begin explain. He said the EFCC came to our office and packed all the staff including our Ogas and closed the building down. Na so fear catch me ooo and I sitdon for house. It was later I got to learn that the NGO was allegedly involved in some shady deals. One of the sponsors who donates money regularly to the organization alerted the EFCC that the money being channeled to the NGO was not used for the purposes. Na so my work for their end. I moved on with my life.
Another 2 months pass and I was hustling, going from one company to another, interview to another. Some GNLD while some are genuine.
A friend of mine advised me to go for a make-up class to learn how to become a professional make-up artist since I couldn’t get a job. She advised me to focus on learning a skill and going into entrepreneurship. She said if I was willing she could lend me money to start. Na so I jump into that one. She gave me N120,000 and i registered for 3 months make-up class.
After the three (3) months make-up class, I was giving my own make-up box. Na so I put my body and everything so I fit succeed for the make-up business. And I must say the professional make-up business is huge but everyone is a make-up artist on their own. And I was doing some small small make-up-in (in jenifa’s voice).
My first big work was a week after my freedom. The lady said she would pay me after the traditional marriage. So I was to come to make her up the morning of her traditional marriage. I accepted because it was a family friend that introduced me to her. Na so I go their house that early morning. And everything we concluded was N150,000. I was applying the make-up and almost to be through when I started hearing shouts from outside. They came and called out the bride to be and she went outside. Na so I begin wait inside room. 30 minutes pass, an hour gone. I was angry and went outside only for me to discover that police men in uniform were outside. Heavy fight was going on between the family of the bride and some other families. Na so dem scatter marriage oo. I packed my working tool and left. I started crying when I got home. “So I don waste my make-up for that woman.” Since then sef she stopped picking my calls. I felt being an entrepreneur didn’t favour me at all. Few of my families encouraged me and asked me never to give up in the make-up business. And I was still applying for couple of job openings. And it’s not easy getting make-up jobs. Some clients sef go price you cheap.
January 4th 2017, I saw a job opening for a junior account officer in a multinational company. I had applied to this multinational company several times for job but they were not calling me. I felt reluctant in applying for the job. And it was stated it was expiring that day. Well I applied in the night and just forgot about it. “As usual they won’t call me” was my thought. Not until five days later that I went through my mails and discovered I was invited for an interview at the company. I was shocked because I never believed. I felt the witches in my village have been preventing them from sending me invites because I wasn’t good enough.
The day of the interview came, I went feeling it was just a pleasure to go for an interview at the company. I did the interview and left. It was fun for me but I had to forget everything that happened that day. I felt as usual na still de same thing. “dem no go call me.”
A week later I left my phone inside to go gossip at a neighbor’s house since no make-up work was forth coming. Recession was chasing some of them away. Not after some few hours I returned and saw 5 missed calls on my phone. The missed calls na the same number. “Abi that woman don finally repent, she wan give me my money. Or dem wan give me work.” I thought to myself. I called back only for a female with a sweet voice to answer telling me to cut the call so she would call back. I cut call she come call back. She introduced herself from the so-so company and said I should come the next day with my credentials for documentation. I couldn’t believe it! “Abi am I dreaming.” I went for documentation and resumed the next week. Infact it’s my dream work, my dream company, an amazing working environment with a six (6) figure salary. It was just like a dream to me oooo. Few days ago, I was asked to go get my international passport to submit it to them for visa because I would be travelling with the team to Europe by April.
Today, I was just reminiscing on what I had passed through. I went through my mails and saw all the applications I had submitted. 861 applications submitted (41 by hand and 820 online), 67 interviews and one (1) job at last. Well, I am still doing my make-up-in ooo on weekends. I no wan forget am.
For those who are looking for a good job, I pray you find your dream job In Jesus Name, Amen.

Phones / What You Need To Learn From Tecno Success Than Can Help You In Your Daily Life by onismate: 5:03am On Apr 21, 2017
Tecno mobile phones have come a long way. From Becoming the underdog to becoming a giant among the dogs. It amazes me how Tecno phones became so huge in African market. Few years ago no one gave them a chance including me. But today it’s another story entirely.
I could remember when I was in the university at the Federal university of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB). Then Tecno was still unpopular with that “Ckinko” tag we call it. A female friend of mine asked me if I could use the phone “Tecno.” Na so me halla, “God forbid.” It looked as if it’s a sin for me to use a Tecno phone. It was like a curse and I wasn’t the only one. Many hated the phone years back. But today, story don change. I use one of their phones.
Tecno is growing so big daily that other brands should learn from them the way their business model is structured. They have conquered the Nigeria market and taking over the African market. Tecno is going global.
Here are 5 Reasons why Tecno Mobile phones dominated the Nigerian market and lessons to learn from their business style.
Their Growth was gradual: Tecno didn’t just dominate the Nigerian mobile airwaves overnight. They have been around for over 6 years. Their growth was gradual as they climbed the steps of dominance and success. The same thing applies to life and business. Don’t be too fast to make it or be successful. “if you are too quick to get to the top you will be too fast to fall down.” Take it slowly and gradually so you learn the rudiments of your business.
They understand their audience & know what Nigerians want: I have to give it to Tecno in this one. If you want a phone that last long (battery) they have it. you want the one for pictures and selfies they also have it. They make their phones to suit Nigerian and African environment. And now they are going global.
Tecno understands their audience and knows what Nigerians want and how to give them us. Dem know say power/electricity na problem so dem build the one wey get better battery. They also know say our ladies too like selfies, dem come give them Camon series and other ones. Then their Phantom series that appeal to the global market.
In business you need to understand your audience, know what they like and want and how to give it to them. When you meet their needs you can control their wants. Presently when Tecno releases any new products there some people who don’t miss out, they don’t need it, but will definitely have it.
Tecno are becoming more innovative and improving: Tecno is no longer the chinko phone we use to know it to be. Things have changed drastically and they are becoming more innovative in their productions. Their designs, quality is improving.
Innovations is one of the things that stands out in business. It differentiates you from the others. Improve on your brands, services and products and see more customers flock to you.
Promotion & Marketing strategies: If you no get marketing strategy for your products, just bone. You are going nowhere. I love the radical and drastic approach Tecno uses in marketing their products which is making them one of the leading mobile phone brands in Nigeria. They know that most Nigerian youths make use of the internet so they capitalize on it, with their e-warriors who fight and defend their products. So many have become Tecno ambassadors online. They help defend and promote the mobile phones. And many of us before purchasing any phone, we go online to see reviews and testimonials. So Tecno dey win for this one.
That’s how business is, get people to talk about your products whether by paying them or not. It would make your brand popular.
They give us expensive outlook in a cheap form: Now who could imagine that we will be using a 13mp rear camera phone for just N50 –N60,000? Tecno came into the market and redefined everything. What other brands are giving us for over N200,000 and higher prices, they did their magic and gave it to us at a cheaper price. And guess what, if Samsung, Apple are the only phones in Nigerian market, the internet and social media would have been so boring because much Nigerian youths won’t be on social media. Thanks to Tecno that gave us cheaper phones.
People want quality products with cheaper prices. So if you find a way to give your customers quality products with cheaper prices to your competitors just do it and gain more people and lovers.

Crime / 5 Reasons Why Men Commit Suicide Than Women In Nigeria-from A Female Perspective by onismate: 8:37am On Apr 14, 2017
Few days ago we entertained a female visitor in our house. While discussing on the increase rate of suicides, crimes and kidnappings in Nigeria. According to her, the suicide rate would still go up if care is not taken because the Nigerian environment, economic woes.
Years before, it’s hard to hear that a Nigerian committed suicide, but things has drastically changed. We hear of so many attempted suicide cases. People taking their lives due to depression. Our female guest was able to buttress some points why Men are prone to committing suicide than women in Nigeria.

Now here are 5 points why the suicide rate is more in men than women in Nigerian society. Note, this is from a female perspective and her own opinion.

Societal Pressure on Men: Society has so much put pressure on men that when they can’t meet up with demands they become depressed and consider suicide as an option. They won’t want to face the shame. Imagine where society assumes that the man has to provide for his family, wife, children. He also has extended families too. Work pressure is on him, and some other pressures. If he couldn’t take care of his families, society term him “lazy,” condemn him for not being able to take care of his family. Women will condemn him more. So men are on pressure to meet up expectations. When they can’t they become depressed and so men will harbor negative thoughts, some consider suicide as options.

They Empower The women and leave the men: We have so many women empowerment programs by the Government and other organizations, while the men are left out. They empower the women and leave the men. The society made it in a way that most times women are being favoured in some cases because they are the weaker sex. They see the men as strong without knowing what men pass through.

Society have forced the men to accept some responsibilities they can’t handle: There are so many responsibilities the society has placed on men. Society made it that men shouldn’t cry, they shouldn’t be seen as lazy and weak. The men will be habouring pain, pressure and don’t know how to express it. When they cry society will mock and condemn them for crying. Men shouldn’t be seen crying. For God’s sake we all are human beings and have emotions.
According to research, women tends to live longer than men. Societal responsibilities on men are much more which will make men commit suicide if they can’t meet up.

Economic meltdown: The economic hardship in Nigeria is not helping matters. Many men are on pressure to succeed, get married, have the good things of life. It’s easier for the women because what some of them believe is that there would be a man somewhere waiting to marry them, or take care of their needs. The men hustle so hard to make life better for themselves and people around them.

Situation/Depression: So many people are depressed. Anyone can face depression but in the current Nigerian system, men are the most committing suicide. The pressure falls more on them.
From the words of our lady visitor, I was able to put the above 5 points why it seems the men commit suicide than women in Nigeria

TV/Movies / Re: 6 Categories Of People Who Benefited From BBNaija 2017 by onismate: 10:23am On Apr 10, 2017
ZarZar:

Correction, there is Big Brother South Africa. I don't think they make as much money out of it though because South Africans aren't into Big Brother the way Nigerians are. To you guys it becomes an all-consuming affair that even involves politicians. That's not how it's done down here.
indeed we are a consuming country. We consume almost every thing
TV/Movies / 6 Categories Of People Who Benefited From BBNaija 2017 by onismate: 6:31am On Apr 10, 2017
Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) 2017 has come and gone and the winner has been crowned. And thank God it has ended so we can concentrate on vital national issues.
During the last week of the BBNaija show, many people were worried that attention have been diverted and we are no longer interested in talking about national issues but rather big brother issues. And fans were canvasing for votes for their favourite housemates on social media. Infact BBNaija 2017 became the most trending topic and issue on the internet. Celebrities jumped into it, telling their fans to vote the housemate they are supporting.

All that made BBNaija the trending topic on social media that so many fans wondered what would be their gain after voting since winner takes it all. Because to some people it wasn’t making any sense since they are spending thousands of Naira buying airtime and voting for the Bisola, Tboss, Debie-Rise, Marvis or Efe that won’t really send them.

Now here are Six categories of people who benefited most from the recently concluded BBNaija 2017.

Big Brother Organizers: The organizers of BBNaija will be smiling to the bank because they have made huge amount of money. If you want to conquer Africa easily conquer Nigeria first. I don’t think they can have BB South Africa or Ghana, Kenya or any other countries of Africa because they know Nigeria is a huge market. If you want massive viewership, involve Nigeria.
Imagine the millions, billions the organizers of this BBNaija have made from voting alone.

Sponsors of the show: Am sure sponsors of the show like Payport, Coca cola, Indomie, Heritage bank and others will be very happy because they have gotten to wider audiences.

Nigerians: Going through this BBNaija on social media. I saw the way Nigerians talked about it. Infact BBNaija is the most trending topic last week. The way and manner we Nigerians defiled all odds of Religion, tribalism, ethnicity. I could rarely see anything attaching tribe towards voting their favourite housemates. And the whole social media was boiling with people, fans, celebrities canvasing for votes for their favourite housemate. This is a big lesson we can learn that we need each other in this country. Imagine if we can defile all odds of tribe, religion, state to challenge our leaders, something different would happen.
I think that is one benefit, that we can indeed speak with one voice, with the radical way we canvased votes for our favourites, we can do better in General elections in Nigeria.

Winner: The winner, Efe took home N25m and a brand new SUV. Apart from that, imagine the endorsements he would be getting from brands, companies. Infact His name alone is a brand. Gifts will be pouring in from everywhere. Me sef dey jealous.

Other participants: Other participants (Housemates) of BBNaija benefited and will continue to if they utilize the opportunity. Soma spent only two weeks in the house, came out to become Payport ambassador. Other housemates are getting endorsements too. BBNaija has given them the platform to showcase themselves.

Social media marketers and influencers: People who fall under this really benefitted because they used the BBNaija platform to grow their audience, followers and some made more money. Some got more opportunities. Am sure most of us will be asking how?
There is what is called “Tent pole” in social media and digital marketing. When a topic or event is trending on the internet and social, since it’s trending and that’s what audiences are glued to and want to know more of. The social media personnel’s influencers or anyone used opportunity to talk about it to his audience to. Popular tent poles are Olympics, mannequin challenge, Dino Melaye song Ajeku etc.

A popular social media comedian once said that in social media said there are and will always be trending issues and personalities that are scape goats with which you trend trend with, as people are cutting their potion and eating from the scape goat, make sure you cut your own part too. All those things are tent poles and trending.

That is what so many social media influencers and marketers used to benefit from this BBNaija. Every trending topics they always jump on it, talk about it. It helps them gain more followers which in return will boost their advertising revenue.

Let me give you an instance: When you go through the #BBNaija on twitter, a popular twitter influencer who jumped on it, seriously campaigning and giving free airtime to those willing to vote for Efe. Because he seems to be the most popular person in that thread. I see some people who have been wondering his benefits from all his campaigns. Now here is what some of us don’t know. He got over 4,000 followers alone in the month of March and he’s getting more. He has the most retweeted posts on the thread. He became more popular, and remember the last week of BBNaija, the show was one of the most trended in Nigeria. With the aggressive way he marketed and campaigned for Efe on twitter, I am sure more brands are coming to him to help market their products and services. He has gotten more customers (brands) who are giving him their products and services to help market. So many opportunities got opened for him. If he’s going to meet some new brands who need influencers, I don’t think he would be needing a CV because am sure they would have seen what he did on twitter with BBNaija.

I myself jumped into the BBNaija Tent pole, cut my own potion of the goat. I gained more followers. That was the first time I was getting over 300 retweets on one of my post on Twitter. It has never happened. My posts were been retweeted back to back.

Many people you saw creating videos, posts concerning Efe, it’s because that was the most popular “Tent pole,” so they are jumping on it as a business strategy.
So for some of us wondering what some social media personnel benefited as they were going about campaigning, some of it were just a business strategy. Yes they love the housemates but they still used common sense to get back, even if not now but in the future it will still pay off. They grew their audience, became more popular and brands seeking for them.

Celebrities / Re: Here Are 4 Reasons Why People Hate Tboss And Don't Want Her To Win Bbnaija 2017 by onismate: 6:59am On Apr 05, 2017
tribalistseun:
Everything you wrote here is nothing but trash. No one hate Tboss, just that other teams are scared that she might be crown the winner. As for the Instagram page blockage I believe that too, cos Efe fans deliberately reported my Facebook account, and Facebook asked me to scan and submit my ID card first before they will unblock it. If you love Efe that's ok, but you people should take your eyes off TBoss for once. She hasn't suck peniss or fckk any guy in the house yet she's the bad girl. BossNation are so proud of her and will continue to vote till the end. So take your rubbishh post to the dustbin where it belongs.
You called it trash but still reading it. Nobody forced you to read or comment . You and that thing you are smoking! You better go see a psychiatrist for proper examination
Celebrities / Here Are 4 Reasons Why People Hate Tboss And Don't Want Her To Win Bbnaija 2017 by onismate: 6:03am On Apr 05, 2017
This is the last week of Big brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show. The winner of the N25million will be announced this coming Sunday. Well the show has succeeded in distracting many of us from important national issues. Many of us are campaigning online for votes for our favourite housemate.
However, one housemate who seems to be generating a lot of buzz is Tboss due to his character, approach and controversial attitudes in the house. So many fans and followers of the BBNaija have come to dislike her attitude. Even my colleagues, half of them don’t seem to fancy her. They will rather see big brother keep the money than crowning her the winner. But guess what? A good number of my colleagues are rooting for her.
From the little survey I conducted, here are 4 reasons why many people don’t Tboss to win BBNaija 2017.

She always plays the victim card: One of the reasons people hate Tboss is she always plays the victim card.
Efe wins Head of house---- Tboss will cry and be sad
Bisola wins head of house ---- Tboss will cry and be sad
Tboss loses a game ------ Tboss will cry and be sad
I guess she just wants everything about the house to resolve around her, and trust Nigerians the way we behave and act. Many Nigerians don’t like that.
She’s classy and unapologetic but people think she’s proud: Tboss has class and I love her for it. I’m sure so many like her for that too, and she’s unapologetic for it. With that so many people thinks she’s proud maybe because she came from a rich background. Tboss is a kind of lady that does what she wants and believes it’s right for her and unapologetic about it. Whether you like it or not she doesn’t care.
Her Sister, Wendy’s attitude: Now, this is one reason I began disliking Tboss attitudes. Her sister Wendy isn’t doing a good job selling her to haters.
I don’t follow much of what is happening on the BBNaija show but when it first began Tboss was one of my favourites among the housemates. But as time went on, the love some fans had for her went down. Wendy is aware that some people don’t like her sister Tboss, she (wendy) will be adding salts to the injury by throwing shots and insults on fans. One of the post she made on social media was making accusations that fans have gone to report Tboss’s page on Instagram thereby resulting to the block of the page. She would call out fans and be complaining all around that people hate her sister. She always feels her sister, Tboss deserves special treatment. Wendy no be so. Yes all housemates have haters but don’t rub it on their faces since you want more votes for her to win. You have to sell her positively.
No Concrete Reason for the hate: People just hate Tboss for no reason. Ask some why they hate her and they won’t give you a concrete reason why they do.

Business / Keystone Bank Appoints Hafiz Bakare Acting CEO As It Prepares For Change Of Name by onismate: 6:24am On Apr 03, 2017
Most of us are aware that keystone bank has been acquired by Sigma Golf-Riverbank Consortium. And guess what, change of name loading. From Bank Phb to keystone, and next would be.. we are waiting to hear the new name.
I’m a loyal customer so am interested to know what goes on in the bank. But part of my anger this past few days since the announcement of the acquisition of the bank was the illegal and fraudulent deductions made in customers account.

Two days after it was announced that Keystone bank has been acquired, I was so shocked when I got an email that about N232 was deducted from my account for no good reason. It was just termed “charges.” Charges for what? N232 na money for this recession. Plus other deductions made this past couple of days. It was fraudulent because there was text message sent to me about the deduction. Only email was sent to me. Because they knew that there would be an outrage when they send text, many people will see it. But guess what! Some people don’t know that deductions where made from their account because the messages were sent via email. It was unusual about keystone which is why I like them. There are no unnecessary charges and deductions.

Well, keystone bank has a new Acting managing Director/CEO and his name is Hafiz Bakare. Here is his message to customers:

Dear customer,

In the last two weeks, we have provided you with series of updates in respect of the hand-over of the Bank to the Sigma Golf-Riverbank Consortium upon the successful conclusion of the Asset management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCOM), the Bank’s erstwhile owners.

The events within this period culminated in the completion of the erstwhile managing Director/CEO, Mr. Philip Ikeazor’s tenure on Friday 31st March 2017 and my assumption of office as Acting Managing Director/CEO effective 1st April, 2017. Being a member of the immediate past board and management of the Bank, I have the institutional memory which would be leveraged to the advantage of the bank and akll stakeholders, especially customers.

The transition has been seamless and I am pleased to lead the bank into the next phase of its corporate existence as a privately-owned financial institution. As earlier communicated, I will be performing this role as a member of the transition board which has Alhaji Umaru Modibbo as Chairman, and the Bank will operate under this transitional arrangement until the full complement of the new board is in place.

I thank you for your business patronage and the confidence reposed in Keystone Bank. As we progress in this new phase, please be assured that the Bank’s capacity will be enhanced in all respects to serve you better.

Thank you.

Hafiz Bakare

Celebrities / David's Baby Mama Saga: Seven (7) Things I Noticed About Nigerian Male Celebs by onismate: 5:39am On Apr 01, 2017
It’s not only in Nigeria but everywhere. Most male celebrities are randy. With the recent development about music star Davido and an Ibadan based lady who claimed she has a baby for the artist. Davido has a daughter, Imade from his first baby mama, Sophie Momodu and he’s currently expecting another baby from his Atlanta based girlfriend.
The recent lady who accused Davido of sleeping with her and getting her pregnant granted an exclusive interview to a newspaper where she described the size of his(Davido’s) manhood and claims the artist doesn’t like using condoms.
This is not the first time such incident has happened. We have seen and heard so many cases of ladies married to male celebrities claiming that they treat STDs many times.
With all this claims, here are 7 things I have come to learn from this Davido’s incident:

Most celebrities hates using condoms: Most of our male celebrities don’t like using condoms, if not we won’t be hearing about artists getting women pregnant everywhere after just a one night stand. I have noticed that most women that have come to accuse artists of getting them pregnant, most of them will tell you they only met once and had a one night stand. So male artists go around sleeping with unknown women without condoms.
Most Women who sleeps with male artists don’t care about their health status: From the Ladies explanation concerning Davido, she said he (Davido) didn’t care if she had any disease and was willing to sleep with her. He doesn’t car but how about her? She no care too. Male artist meets random women at every moments of their life and some sleep with them. Some of the women are just unknown and still agree to go with the artists. They don’t care if the artists have an infection or not they are just willing to go down with them.
Many of Our Male Artists Are infected with various STDs: We have heard of women married to famous artists accusing their partners of infecting them with STDs and infidelity. Some have come out to claim they have been treating STDs. What do you expect! When they sleep with multiple women.
Just have the money Plus fame And Many Women will open up: Women are definitely attracted to successful men. When the guys have money, famous then what do you expect! The women would easily open up to them. Most of our women don’t care about other thing else, wants the money is flowing, you have it, they barely know you they can easily get down with you.
Some women intentionally want to get pregnant for male celebrities: Some women don’t care if they get pregnant for celebrities and get abandoned. They just want to be baby mamas if not, i believe they are aware that many of the artists are promiscuous so why following an unfaithful man.
Some women want to eat “child support money”: Some women believes that when they have babies for celebrities their lives would change so they are ready to go down with them without hesitation. Dem wan chop child support money.
Once you are famous, Many part of your life will no longer be private: That’s why you notice that it’s difficult for many celebrities to keep their private lives and affairs intact. The too many ladies they move with are just “kiss and tell.” Because they know that’s the only way to embarrass the celebrities by exposing the private things they do. I have come to learn that some celebrities pay off ladies they get down with just to keep their mouth shot so they won’t release details of their relationship.

Business / Recession: 7ven Ways You Can Cut Down On Expenses As A Single And Unmarried by onismate: 5:22am On Mar 31, 2017
According to reports, Nigeria is experiencing the worst financial and economic meltdown since 1980. Nigeria is in recession, and it’s not good to anyone. Na only God know when we go come out of it. It has not been easy for married people with children. Singles and unmarried are not left out, even children sef. The recession is affecting everyone. Prices of goods have skyrocketed to the top. People are looking for ways to cut down expenses this period.
Here are seven (7) ways singles and unmarried without children can reduce expenses this recession.
Stay with your parents or share an apartment with someone/people: I could remember immediately I just finished my NYSC, my friends were like, “it’s time to leave your parent’s house ooo. Go get your own house.” As if it was just easy leaving your parent’s house. This na recession and I never even get work then sef. But I had little money.
Some people feel staying on their own breeds independence. It’s actually true but with the way things are in Nigeria, if there is a greater opportunity, still stay with parents till you are very much capable of standing on your own. It helps reduce expenses on you.
You can also decide to share an apartment with (a) friends and your share the bills together. It reduces expenses.
Avoid events, parties that makes you spend money: A friend of mine invited me for a party. I realized that If I go for the party I will spend a lot spraying cash and gifts worth up to N20,000. I no fit just enter that place empty hand. Make shame no come catch me. I will definitely be forced to spend money at the party. Na so I tell my guy say I no fit come, no disrespect. I sent him N7,000 rather than going there to spend over N20,000.
So avoid events and parties that will make you spend much money. No body go kill say you no drop money. If you know that you staying back will help reduce expenses, why don’t you do and send a little token in support of the party.
Avoid Organizations, Clubs and associations that makes you spend much money: A young lady was telling me that she was invited to join a youth club/association. Their weekly dues is N1,500 with other monthly fees. And she was very worried. “Na so I ask if na by force to join?” Just walk away if you know you don’t have the money to maintain your membership in any association. With too many dues, levies and fees, avoid organizations, clubs/associations that makes you spend lots of money. Avoiding them will help reduce your expenses this recession.
Avoid intimate relationship for now (for the unmarried): In the last 2 years, the number of single ladies in Nigeria has increased, why? Boys no get money to maintain the relationship, na so some ladies go dey forced to break up. Sometimes it’s very expensive maintaining an intimate relationship In Nigeria with the calls, buying recharge cards, gifts, outings and more. You go shah spend. For the married you are a little safe but unmarried, “if the relationship is taking much of your money, please quit.” It helps reduce expenses this recession.
Always go with homemade food, Avoid buying of food unless it’s necessary: one of the things that swallow a bachelor’s money is “buying food” outside. If you can cook very well, avoid buying food outside unless necessity calls for it. If not, cook and eat your own food. Buying food outside is more expensive to cooking.
Get an extra source of income: In Nigeria of today, am sure we all know that one source of income is not even enough to sustain us. To make things easy, get another genuine source of income so you won’t feel the heat of recession much.
Check your income and expenses, and know how to cut down expenses: Check what you earn and expenditure, know how to cut your expenses so you won’t spend much money. Avoid things or commodities that makes you spend unnecessary. Things like alcohol, women etc.

winj:

Most of what you wrote is what is wrong with the mentality of Nigerians like you.

the problem is not the leaders, it is the stu pidity of the citizens.

They allow incompetent people to rig and win elections but still let them serve their time, and then proceed to ask the same criminals to care for the people.

Armed robber enter your house and you ask him to give you food to eat while he is robbing you.

When Nigerian citizens start getting some commonsense, then they have the right to demand good leadership!

Just like you said, when Nigerians like you start getting some common sense, then you have the right to demand good leadership
Politics / Seven Things I Noticed Concerning Dino Melaye's Certificate Scandal by onismate: 6:17am On Mar 28, 2017
With this current situation of politician and senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Dino Melaye, it is imperative to note that the law makers are mostly the first breakers of their own laws.

It has been reported that Dino melaye didn’t graduate from Ahmadu Bello Unibversity Zaria (ABU) as he claimed. He also claimed he’s a graduate of London school of Economics and student of Harvard University. The both higher institutions have come to deny the claims why ABU is yet to make a statement on Dino graduating from Geography department from the prestigious university.

Here are 7 things I have learnt from this Dino melaye certificate saga, and I believe you should also take a clue from this incident.

Most Nigerian Politicians are not loyal and care about the feelings of the masses: If a Nigerian politicians are not loyal to this country. They are not afraid of the masses or our feelings. They just do what they like and how they like it. If they really care, some of them won’t use dubious means, forged certificate to enter the seat of power. So most of them are not loyal.

Our lawmakers are mostly the first to break laws: Most of our law makers are the first to break laws in this country. They don’t respect the rule of law. They just find a way to cover up their flaws after abusing the laws.

NYSC photos shouldn’t be enough proof that one served
: In this age and time when corruption and forgery is so easy in Nigeria, photos of you wearing NYSC uniform is not enough proof that one served because anyone can get the uniform and take a photo with it. So many Nigerian politicians have claimed that they served by showing us a photo of them on NYSC uniform. But how about showing us certificate rather than photo. Couple of children of rich Nigerian politicians don’t serve, and they will want to go into power years to come. Don’t be surprised that they will bring out photos of them on NYSC uniform that time.

It was reported that Davido served in Lagos from November 2015-october 2016. But during the orientation course he was far away outside Nigeria for a show. Years to come he go still tell you say him serve.

Keep records of your academic dealings and let them be genuine: We are in internet age, anything can be traceable. Not the age of yester years when getting information is difficult. Internet and Social media has made things easy. I have heard of people who keep their academic work records back in school, from their test scripts to others just to avoid future controversies. Because immediately you start climbing the ladder to greatness, people will start tracing your past. Having those records will help you tackle any educational controversy that comes your way.

I loved the way Former President Goodluck Jonathan handled his own when it was reported in the media that he never finished his PhD thesis. He just showed us his PhD results. Na so matter die down. But the records Dino is showing us are just contradicting themselves. Like, he said graduated in 2000 but claimed to go for his NYSC in 1999. The master project he showed us, he claimed he finished in 2015 but his supervisor’s signature was showing January 2017.

Laws and punishments are mostly meant for the poor people: If Dino would have been a poor man or a nobody he would have been thrown out of that senatorial position or arrested. ABU for don release statement long ago. But because he’s rich and powerful they kept mute. The Nigerian system is weird, it favours the rich and the powerful. With everything going on with Dino Melaye certificate saga, it’s obvious that there’s something fishy about it.

Nigerian Educational systems is in a big mess: Yes the Nigerian educational system is in a big mess. If it took within 24 hours to denounce Dino’s claims by Harvard and LSE that he never was once a student at the university, ABU which is a Nigerian university is not saying anything about it. It is easier to forge results in Nigeria without any verification. There are so many runs going on in our higher institutions. I heard of so many institutions that students have been studying for up to 3 years but yet to have a matriculation number.

Most Nigerian politicians parade themselves with Titles and things they are not: Nigerian politicians are always in the habit of showing off power. They parade themselves with titles they are not, e.g like MSc, msn, hsb and other sorts. It might interest you to note that most of these politicians forged their certificates and bought titles they didn’t earn. They will lie to us, and we bought the lies. Time has come when we have to verify very well about titles and academic records of our politicians before they contest for any position in this country.
