Mamarockzie: After work today, I and few friends decided to do TGIF at the shrine(Fela Shrine), nothing really spectacular about it but we just needed somewhere/ something different from our movies, clubbing and the modern settings.
While we were having our different talks, a very pretty lady walked up to us and asked to see a colleague of mine(a guy). They went afar and when he got back, we asked to know what transpired. He actually didn't want to open up but we're all Gees (Lols).
So he told us the Lady wooed him(like seriously) and with all sincerity, he already liked her for that. I remembered walking up to a guy back then in school to tell him he was cute. But in all sincerity I don't think I have that boldness anymore.
Another (a guy) said he consider it more, preferable and he wished it was immensely more common. And my gee concluded that if the lady is serious about it, he would date her and respect her more.
Honestly, I admired the lady's courage and I think you should go for whatever makes you happy after all, .most guys ends up been turned down, so as a lady also be prepared to handle rejection too. Hmmm?

Rhodaogunpeju: Why are our Nigerian Men so insensitive.
I'm naturally a chubby lady with curves and I remember vividy how my husband used to praise my physique and say I'm his spec. According to him skinny girls are not his type.
We got married and I have given birth to two kids and I added weight a little, plus we were living comfortably so the good life was evident in my life and body.
The church we normally attend, the pastor's wife has 5 kids already and she's much older than me but she still looks moderate enough with little or zero stomach fat.
My husband seeing this woman has constantly been telling me to try and work on myself, this man literally wants me to be skinny, when we married I wasn't skinny, the blow was when he compared me to my Pastor's wife, saying I have just 2 kids and I added weight while our Pastor's wife has 5 and she's looking like she never gave birth.. I cried and I have been crying since..
It hurts so much .. It makes me wonder if this man still loves me? A lot of men don't know that all the big yansh (emphasised with waist trainer) and laps they see that look good in clothes do not look too good when seen naked especially first thing in the morning. That's how they'll be lusting over other men's wives but they don't know the early mor mor trauma that long suffering man has been enduring for years You husband is harsh though. To be comparing you with another man's wife (or any other woman for that matter) is a big NO in any marriage. |

AdekunleScience: One thing that people fail to acknowledge about so called cosmopolitan cities like NY, London, Paris is that the final say on important matters always rest with the indigenous people of that nation. They decide the level of political influence which non-indignous citizens have. For example, London and Tokyo are both cosmopolitan cities, with a sharp difference in non-indigenous political influence. Nonetheless, they are both higly susccessful cities. Lagos, Yorubaland is the only cosmopolitan city that I know of, where a certain group of non-indigenous citizens do not want the indigenous to enjoy the privileges that are applicable in all other cities of same status. Lagos does not have a different set of law for non-Yorubas. When Lagos' government pay WAEC exam fees, they do not exclude non-Yorubas. We've not taxed non-Yorubas differently, we don't pay them less. I can tell you that even your so called other cosmopolitan cities are far behind Lagos, in terms of equal opportunity for citizens. When you see or hear Yorubas like myself taking a radical stance on certain issues, you might think we are being driven by irrational ethnic sentiments, but I say to you that we are only trying to secure the future of our Yoruba descendants, because it appears that certain group of migrants are in Lagos/Yorubaland not to actually contribute to human civilization. This set of people say it publicly themselves that their intention is to subjugate Yorubas and take over our land. The bottom-line is that the indigenous people reserve the right to determine the level of influence to be accorded to non-indigenous citizens. That's what is obtainble in NY, Tokyo, London, Paris, Onitcha, PH, Kano, Kaduna, etc. Nobody, can deny Yorubas same privilege in Lagos or any other part of Yorubaland. I see where you are coming from. |

husseinaaa: i met this guy 2018 in my madams tailoring shop while I was learning as an apprentice.
he usually come around he talks and joke with everyone in the shop and we are all free with him after sometimes of showing good behaviours towards us. to cut the story short, one day he asked for my phone number that he wants to be communicating with me, so I told him I don't have a phone am not working yet I am still learning and he smiled and promised to buy me a phone, which I told him if it's not just a gift he should not buy but if he wants to dash me for no reason like having intention of relationship or sex etc he should. then he said he just meant to buy for me as a friend and I thank him.
so few days later he gave me 50,000 to buy myself a phone and I collected it and appreciate it.
so we communicate normally but just as a friend.
last month he started asking me out I told him am not ready for relationship because the kind of suffering and stress I pass through to survive totally made me lost interest for anything like that, he got angry and told me to send back his 50,000 to or I should accept him. he is threatening me because he knows I cannot afford such money to pay him so I told him to give me time, I will refund it just to avoid problem but he said no time will be given that either I should give him my virginity or if I don't pay before next 7 days he will destroy my life. either by jazz or attack.
I just don't know what to do I need advice. Just in case, and I mean just in case.....how many times would you have to bang him to clear your 50k debt? I'm not insinuating anything. Far from it. But it's always good to consider all options and expect the unexpected. The number of times will depend on your pedigrees though. 10 times? 20 times? |

Blogger alleges that superstar pop singer, Tiwa Savage lost a pregnancy for one of Davido’s crew member, Obama DMW. This is coming after a different blogger hinted that a ‘popular superstar‘ lost a baby for Habeeb Uthman, a.k.a Obama DMW. According to Cutie Juls, Tiwa Savage and Obama are having an affair that led to the pregnancy right before Tiwa went for cosmetic surgery. Taking to Instagram, the blogger wrote; “Tiwa WAS pregnant for Obama. She is no longer pregnant. The last time the pregnancy was there was just before her cosmetic surgery. [100% authentic not even a drop of water to dilute lol] She, unfortunately, “lost” the pregnancy [Don’t ask me how ]. The 2 lovebirds are being more careful now as Tiwa doesn’t want any child born out of wedlock. Both Tiwa and Obama have a son each. With Obama’s son being the older one. So there is no pressure from any of them to want to have a child now. They are both happy. We wish them well.” See a screenshot of the post below:- So Guys,

Politics › Re: Oduduwa Republic Should Exclude Lagos From Their Dream Country by OnlyDeCapPlease(m): 5:14pm On Mar 19, 2021 |
AdekunleScience: The real ethnic jingoists are those who mischievously call Lagos, a Yoruba heritage no mans land/Bini land. Those who seek to have equal right with Yorubas in Yorubaland. When they are not willing to accord Yorubas equal right in their own space. Those who know that despite being a member of the U.K and of same race, the Scots or Welsh don't have equal right as indigenous English in London and entire England. Yet they demand equal right only from diplomatic Yoruba, while they discriminate even amongst themselves, and will not dear the violent Hausa-Fulani for fear of massacre. My brother Scots and Welsh have the same rights as English in any London or any other part of the UK. Also, putting racial discrimination aside, people of other races have the same right as English in London and in other parts of the UK, if not how can Sadiq Khan be elected mayor of London? Or how can Boris Johnson, whose grandfather was Turkish, be Prime Minister of UK? Personally, I think the issue isn't how Yorubas get treated if they go to certain regions (which they hardly go to anyway). I think the issue is how people from other regions conduct themselves and embrace/respect the people and culture of the land when they come to Lagos. A Londoner is a Londoner and is always immensely proud of London irrespective of original ethnicity, and reps London anyway they go. A New Yorker is a New Yorker and is always immensely proud of New York irrespective of original ethnicity , and reps New York anyway they go. The same should apply with Lagos. You are either or Lagosian or not. Your heart has to be there. The power of cities like London, NewYork and Lagos(if it doesn't get derailed by ethnic warriors) is their vibrancy, multiculturalism and ability to attract the best talent from all over their countries and internationally. Unfortunately insularity and prosperity do not go well together. |

Amitez: Lagos is Bini territory, Edo wu odion! So those planning Oduduwa republic should please leave Lagos alone. We do not want fulani to ovetall our land by confusing us with some miscreants and self-seeking illitrates claiming a republic without a standing army, constitution, etc., just public address systems. Anytime these confusionist come near Lagos, we the Lagosians will drive to the lagoons. They should know that we do not have any refugee camps in case fulanis goes on offensive with them, because of what history taught us about them
When the time comes,we Lagosians will decide whether to align with any of the new nations or remain with one Nigeria.
So, please you people should advise all those agitators to focus their attention on Ife and other Oduduwa states, afterall, oduduwa does not know any place called Lagos or Eko. Meanwhile, we implore all our Lagosian people to go about their businesses unmolested.
Eko onibaje ooo! Personally, I think Lagos, while still remaining in Oduduwa as a Yoruba state, should be protected from tribal jingoists so that the SW can continue to enjoy the ripple effects of being in close proximity to a thriving business city like Lagos. You only have to look at a city like London and South East England to see what the benefits of putting business and prosperity FIRST above any pettiness does to a whole region. |

envoymedia: Pregnant Woman Hacks Her Husband To Death In Delta Over Extramarital Affair (Photos)
A pregnant woman has allegedly hacked her husband to death over an alleged extramarital affair in Delta State, IgbereTV reports.
The incident happened on Monday, March 15, at Ekrejebor axis of Ughelli town in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.
IgbereTV gathered that the 22-year-old woman identified as Faith Okiemute allegedly killed her husband, Edafe Unuakpor, aged 27, with a machete.
According to reports, after allegedly committing the crime, she fled to the Ughelli ‘A’ Division Police Station to escape jungle justice.
"The woman was angry that her husband did not spend the night at home. After his return, she accused him of having been with another woman and macheted him in one of his hands and abdomen," a source said.
"She ran to Ughelli ‘A’ Division police to report herself while friends of her husband rushed him to the Ughelli Central Hospital where he was confirmed dead. Angered by his death, the friends brought and dumped his corpse at the entrance of the Ughelli ‘A’ Division of the Nigeria Police which led to sporadic shooting by the police to disperse the crowd.” the source added.
The Delta State Police acting Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident, said investigation is ongoing.
The couple has a two-year-old child together while the pregnant woman is said to have two children with a former husband before she married the deceased.
