The biggest problem in Nigeria is that most of the people don't understand beauty and harmony. Everything in the country is monkey-ish and scatter-scatter. The people generally don't take time to beautify and decorate their living spaces -- leading to ugly environments wherever Nigerians inhabit.

A girl that is wayward in school getting married to a guy that is well to do and doesn’t look like someone that can cause trouble (not written on the face though).

This is not the first nor the 10th time I’m seeing this in 2021 alone.

When I say wayward I mean girls that are never in class, friday nights you can’t see them in the school hostels.

These girls are the most connected. They know influential people. After playing dirty in school, they still get married to great guys.

Meanwhile, a high percentage of girls that actually study hard in school stay longer without getting married.

But you see guys here saying they would go for brains over beauty. If that’s the case, then who are the ones marrying these ladies of the highway.

I am a non teaching staff in one of Nigeria’s Polytechnics. I finished from the school and got a programming job at the same school.

Due to my age and kind of Job, I meet a lot of students everyday; both male and female.

I know a runs girl when I see one.

They upload the same kinds of stuffs on their WhatsApp status. Dress the same way to school. Have the same attitude.

I don’t have issues with these people, but i am shocked with the choices men make when taking a life partner.

One of them got engaged today and my head became warm. The bros was just smiling as he was putting on the engagement ring. After some staffs I know have screwed and unscrewed this same lady.

Is it that guys don’t know what’s up or this is what they really want.

It's not just the fact that she forgot, it's that she's not invested in what we have. I've taken her out on a couple of dates where the majority of the time she was on her phone and not being receptive to my feelings even though I asked her politely to put it away.

Whenever she wants something from me she uses words like "baby" but soons as I send her money it's crickets from then on. Anytime I text her during the day to see how her day is she doesnt reply back and even when she does its "good" or "okay", quick short answers and doesnt reciprocate by asking about mines.

The birthday was the last straw because I had texted her few days ago and she completely ignored me until the day after apologising but only because hers is coming up in a few weeks and probably doesnt want to burn that bridge. She'll forget my birthday but will post on her stories constantly about other people wishing them theirs. It's clear at this point that she's been using me for money and doesn't care about me. Its always the ones you least expect.

Anyways I appreciate anyone who took the time to read this, your input will be greatly appreciated.

Good morning guys, how are we all doing? Let me go straight to the point. So yesterday my thread was the. Most talked about although yesterday and it drew some attention to me, but something funny happened today on my way heading to church. I was on my way to church and while we were being stop by the traffic light the was this guy, at the next car beside us he started calling me ashawo and a stupid girl not even minding my husband and daughter was all with me. It’s painful he started calling my husband hiv and all kind of name.. I’m in pain and I have cried my eyes out, we could not make it to church as we drove back home my husband has left the house as I speak and it really sad. I shared my story here because I want a form of closure and also inform people what we lady go through when we love a man regardless.

My husband has asked me to leave his house and not to return. This is really sad and I’m broken beyond measure, God know I love this man and I did will never make any mockery of his health but was trying to educate people out there that it’s possible to still be marry to your partner regardless of his status because there are medical teams that can make this possible.

4) Do not explain things to her when she is angry: Kindly give her space to calm down, kindly tell her the logic behind the whole issue and throw away that explanation.... We don't need it here!

5) *[b][/b]Never teach a girlfriend in a room with only both of you at home*: you and i know there is no discipline you want to show by wanting to teach on her visit. Uncle, are you a man at all?there is a greater chances that she will not learn anything unlike in a casual environment. Please save that and do the needful!....wink.....

6) Your parent should be the last place she should know while " girlfriending" and "boyfriending" each other. However, this can change a little when you are serious to marry her.
.......nobody should go and display fake responsibilities to my innocent mother before she would be on my neck when things get south...

7) Never allow her move in with you before marriage. It is a sin before jesus and Allah. They hate it.....
Kindly save the feeling and respect for marriage sake. It helps....

Do not show her your weak point: Ladies are good in capitalizing in such area. They have A1 in such area of concentration from the university above.

9) Never make the mistakes of showing or revealing your financial worth. You do that, you are doom.... Mine is to write, yours is to add meaning to it!

10) Never make mistakes of telling her you can do anything for her. Just let her know that you can do the right things for her. Make no satan incarnate make you go slap cultist on her behalf. Nah "on the run you go dy" till thy kingdom come.
