Her only crime is that she chose to return to her true political base, the only base that can support her and allow her to speak her mind when she gets to the national assembly.
She is the brave type and I can imagine how difficult it must have been for her to not speak her mind all these while. Senate is the perfect ground for her to show her true mettle and learn practical politics in preparation for one day when she runs for an executive office -Governor or President.

this is my problem with your reasoning. obasanjo ruled nigeria in 1999 not because of one voice or unity but because the cabal then wanted him to. he did not do so even with the support of the yorubas. make your investigations and prove me wrong. obasanjo did not win the yorubas states rather olu falae did. yar adua did not rule nigeria bcs of one voice rather bcs obasanjo wanted a smooth landing and in yar adua he found same. if it were to be with one voice, the hausas will not have yar adua as their representative. jonathan is president today not because of one voice rather bcs of his loyality to the ruling cabals. if u talk one voice in the niger delta, jonathan was not and is not a force there. the igbos will be the president if only they lick the dirty backside of the criminals old fools of which no igboman has been trusted enough by these thieves. one voice has nothing to do with the igbos not been president.

Ndigbo in the south east should realise that not all the Igbo speaking areas in Rivers state are Ikwerre. The rate some Ikwerres deny Igbo is not like that in other Igbo speaking areas of Rivers state.

While Nigeria's GDP was $341.1 billion with a population of 150 million.

Nigeria is about 13 times larger than Zimbabwe in population, but with a whopping 85 times bigger GDP!

Pray, how dare a Zimbabwean show face on a Nigerian forum, especially when Nigerians know how wicked Zimbabweans (especially Shonas) are?  Nigerian newspapers in the 1990s constantly relayed how Zimbabweans treated Nigerians.

Zimbabwe is not even richer than any Nigerian state! I can't recall any Nigerian state poorer than Zimbabwe.

Extreme bitterness can block reason. I believe u guys are too bitter to be objective when talking about the pain of Biafra. The food blockade was not used to starve children but as a tool to stop Biafran leaders from fighting, so as to prevent the loss of more lives. If these leaders had stopped fighting when they ran out of food no child would have starved to death. But instead of stopping, they decided the best way was to carry on fighting while the young and vulnerable starved to death.

When America dropped the atomic bomb on Japan and over 200,000 people were burnt to death, this made Japan surrender and the leader that took them to war did the honerable thing by committing suicide. This brave act by the Japanese Emperor  prevented the death of many more innocent lives. Japan too could have carried on figting like Ojukwu did, until millions more were killed.

Ojukwu should have done the honorable thing like the Emperor to save the innocent, but instead he chose to carry on fighting at the expense of starving Ndiigbo children and then ran away to save himself when the net was closing in on him. If anyone is to blame, please blame Ojukwu. We have to start taking responsibility 4 our actions.
