Just read a few of her entries. Not bad at all. Seems she's a christian though. How is it that her name is aisha (or is aisha not a muslim name?)

All these ones na formal tori.

I have been and will always be at the forefront of one of the advocates for the peaceful break up of this country - myself and davidylan and other forward looking people on NL (hehehe - no ask who I be o o o). That was way back in 2004 or so. . . .I have not changed my position/views on that. Everyday, we see, hear and read news, events etc that supports our views. And I know we will get there soon.

LOL. . . . . .

These days, I see a scary trend on Nairaland politics section. There seems to be no end in sight on this Yoruba/Igbo bashing. I just wonder what the admin is doing. But then, could you guys please move these stuff to the tribalism, sectarianism subsection?
PoliticsRe: England Is 'cesspit' Breeding Islamists, Says Soyinka by ono(m): 8:47am On Feb 03, 2010
Jakumo:
Wole Soyinka's characterisation of The United Kingdom as a "cesspit" is rather harsh, even when used in reference to Britain's well-intended but unnecessary tolerance for religious nutcases in flowing prophet robes who spread hate and advocate mass murder under the guise of Islamic teaching.

As one of the world's true democracies that has survived the test of time, Britain strives to achieve a delicate balance between her obligation to respect the right of her citizens to free speech on one hand, and the need to censure those scraggly-bearded Bin Laden fan-boys who make careers out of baying for the blood of the very people into whose country the Islamists immigrate in droves. It is instructive to note that those bearded avocates of hate and retrogression, who flock to the UK by the plane-load, all greedily expolit the free state health care, housing, education system and unemployment allowances available in the UK - benefits that are totally unheard of in their own imploding nations of origin.

It is high time the United Kingdom takes a page from the recently publicised resolutions by the Australian government, who have essentially informed Islamic hate-mongers that they will need to pack up their chit and get the phuck out out of Australia to head back for their camel-herding basket-case homelands, if they persist in spreading the message of disunity and hate, or if they dare try and impose any variant of their ridiculous Batman costume dress code on women of any race in Australia.

"If you don't love it, leave it " should be the credo of all freedom-loving nations in this post-911 polarized world, whereby immigrants into Western democracies should be FORCED to accept the liberal dress code and tolerance of diversity that define secular democracy, and should expect to be summarily shipped back to their primitive rogue nations of origin at the slightest hint that they advocate ANY modification of the culture and political philosophy of their host country.   In other words, those who expouse hate, violence and the subjugation of women, while scurrying about in long Moses beards and 18th century theatrical robes, should be shown the door and deported instantly to where such cave-man mentalities and physical appearance are the norm rather than the bizarre exception.
I bet England can handle their affairs pretty well. My fear is that of these beareded elements discipling folks from our country - well, they're here anyway, Mutallab's case notwithstanding. With the Boko Harams and Jos Crisis staring us in the face, and with little or no intervention from government, I fear there will come a time when we all will be at the mercies of these violence-loving, bearded cave men of the 21st century in Nigeria. . . . .and that, very soon, if something serious is not done about it NOW!

ziga:
Dividing Nigeria into North and South will have to be like a divorce.

Everything must be negotiated. Everything, including the oil in the Niger Delta, Access to sea ports etc.

And if the negotiations become deadlocked, (which is very likely)

Then it is war.

And one side will have to destroy the other completely.

Because, as long as one side can still stand, the war will never end.

@Dreamm,
But you obviously didn't get my drift, right. Call me old-fashioned and stuff, I don't mind/care. The point you're trying to make was completely marred by that poorly constructed write up of yours - and that's a fact. Just go back and take a look at it. Re read that write up of yours again. Surely you can do better than what you have up there.

And thank God for dictionary.com. Web surfers like me don't have to go too far into my room searching for the good old Webster dictionary. The link below will help you with knowing that we have words like ''headaches'' widely in use out there.

With each passing day, it has become very clear that the Umar guy is NOT a ''true'' Nigerian - at least going by the type of stuff I've been reading and seeing on TV since after Xmas. His carrying a naija passport is a ''mistake'' He should have used his Yemeni passport instead.

I'll have to agree with Mariory on this one. Nowhere in that article was it stated that those Funtua folks condemned western education.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Man Attempts To Detonate Explosive On Delta Flight In US by ono(m): 4:04pm On Dec 26, 2009
Say I'm crazy, I don't care! Recent events in the country in the past few years point to the fact that the Northern guys wants to inflict maximum damage to anything that helps empower the people of Southern Nigeria.

With this development, and the fact that the Mutallab guy is the son of the retired FBN chairman, I see a big blow dealt on the wealth generating capacity of Southern Nigerian citizens like this:

1. Folks sending money back home from the US and elsewhere may/will have their account thoroughly screened henceforth - there may be delays/cancellations in transfering funds from those countries to Nigeria. No one will doubt them if they claim those funds are used for for sponsoring Alqaeda activities.

2. Outright denial of visa issuance to the genuine, hard working, southern Nigerian citizen.

3. Labelling of the country as another ''axis of evil'' state. This will lump the ''sheep and goats'' as one and treated same.

In the end, its those of us from the south who have got everything to lose. The northern folks with their Hijab and Sharia will gleefully welcome this development. They do not travel out of their flies infested, desert encroaching enclave as the southern folks do.

This one is a big cut that will take time to heal, if it will heal at all.

I have said it time and again that this country should split up. I have not given up about this, and I pray this is realised in my time.

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Tunde Bakare Blows Hot ! ( Why I Quit Redeemed Church ) by ono(m): 4:20pm On Nov 30, 2009
By the way, since you've aptly described the scenario that currently plays out in the churches at the moment and what we ''should do'' can you suggest one way we can ''clean up the mess within the Ark''? - so that at least the stench in here can be reduced drastically. Presently, it stinks to the heavens above.

Iranoladun:
OMG I've missed this hot topic so much, wuz away for the hols. shocked shocked shocked

I observed some people here are finding it difficult to acknowledge the fact that the church stinks to high heaven. Churches, parishes, worship centers have all become business centers with tithes, offerings, gifts and show of affluence becoming the center of attractions and not salvation of souls or the teaching of Christianity.

Although the church nowadays is like the Ark of Noah in the old testament; with all the different species of animals and different odour and inconveniences it is still better to remain in the stinking ark than perish in the flood of water out there! Our challenge as Christians is to find a way to clean up the mess within the ark so that we could all reach the promise land with less distractions! undecided

To confirm that this topic is serious business Becomrich is making so much sense with his post minus satelite pictures for once.
One powerful contribution so far. And I like this part:
