MuttleyLaff:Good morning bro MuttleyLaff I totally agreed with @bloodofthelamb submissions because he/she has presented its points based on the scriptures which so far i havent seen from the OP which is you! Secondly,i came hoping to see you start the thread by giving out scriptures and not to prove who has vocabulary skills on nairaland! MuttleyLaff:I was actually expecting an initial brief on your points before trying to know if its a sprint or marathon! This thread should be about education and not about trying to score points with your supposed adversaries! First Make your points first with scriptures and lets start from there.... MuttleyLaff:Like i have said, since you are trying to present a point or two, your statements backed with scriptures should come first so that others can contribute....the way am seeing it,its as if you are having an e-war with TV01...which will definitely end up in a vocabulary war and defeat the purpose of the thread! MuttleyLaff:For me,i expected you should have started giving out your points....the more you tarry, the more people think you are either dodgy or trying to be clever! Please present your points as soon as possible! |
@MuttleyLaff I came to this thread expecting a flurry of scriptures to buttress your idea or opinion that God sees nothing wrong with homosexuality and i was not impressed! is this the thread you invited to or is there another? I don't reply or react to personal opinions about a very important matter as this! I need scriptures and corresponding scriptures! You must also reminded that there are some undecided individuals who look up to you due to your maturity in the scriptures....Don't mislead them! |
bloodofthelamb:I totally agree with all your submissions! |
MuttleyLaff:WHAT? HOMOSEXUALITY IS GOD'S IDEA? ARE YOU FOR REAL? Are you speaking from the bible or just based on your opinion? With all due respect to you, please dont bring God into this homosexuality idea....you may be trying to encourage those who are undecided about homosexuality! I would like to see your scripture backing before replying!

One year on from his traumatic experience against Real Madrid, the Egyptian opened the scoring in a 2-0 victory over Spurs in Madrid The mentality giants are the Kings of Europe. On the biggest of stages, Liverpool delivered. Their special season got its special conclusion. After 14 years, the Champions League trophy is heading back to Anfield after Jurgen Klopp’s side defeated Tottenham 2-0 at Madrid’s wonderful Wanda Metropolitano stadium. For Mohamed Salah, this was his night of redemption, the one he’d dreamed of for a year. Devastated in Kiev, delirious in Madrid, the Egyptian’s second-minute penalty secured a sixth European Cup crown for the Reds. Divock Origi, the hero of the semi-final, emerged from the bench to finish the job late on. The beaming Belgian was the man for the big occasion, yet again. It was by no means a classic final, but will anyone care? Liverpool are back at the top of the tree. As the famous Kop banner says, ‘Those Scousers Again’. They just can't keep their hands off that famous trophy. They had taken over the Spanish capital. Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Santa Ana and Gran Via were transformed into a red sea, sunburnt and singing, an invasion of flags and banners, Transalpino and adidas. It was some sight, with the Madrid authorities estimating that around 50,000 Liverpudlians had made the journey. If anything, that seemed conservative. They’d come from far and wide, from Chile and Egypt, Croxteth and Crosby. They’d arrived by car and by train, by air and by sea. They had to be there. They’d come to party, to see their heroes crowned. Their heroes didn’t let them down. Last year, their hearts were broken by a team in white. Lessons were learned, Klopp said. Resolve was strengthened. He felt they’d be back, he felt they could come again. They could. This was a crowning night, the night a new set of legends emerged. The nearly men are the main men now. Their faces belong alongside the greats of this most storied of clubs. From Jordan Henderson, the captain who hoisted that famous jug-eared trophy aloft, to Alisson Becker, whose second-half saves got Klopp’s team over the line. From Virgil van Dijk, the £75million bargain and the UEFA man of the match, to Trent Alexander-Arnold, the home-grown superstar at 20 years of age. Living the dream. Each and every one of them deserved what they got here. Liverpool can play better than they did, for sure. But after a campaign like this, when they have scaled new heights and feared they would have nothing to show for it, we could forgive them their nerves and their tension. This is a special team, one which has made its supporters proud at every turn. They've conquered all of Europe. For Klopp, that crucial first hurdle is cleared. We can stop talking about his ‘need’ for silverware, or his lacklustre record in major finals. The German promised to bring the good times back to Liverpool when he arrived in 2015, and he’s gone and landed the big one. "It's more relief than anything," he admitted afterwards. Good for him. This is a manager who brings joy to football, who puts bums on seats and smiles on faces. His teams play good football, they connect with their supporters. He builds emotional bonds and wonderful sides. Liverpool’s fans would certainly agree. Here in Madrid, they experienced the joy of six. Those Scousers again. http://m.goal.com/x/en-gb/news/683/main/2019/06/01/54185432/kings-of-europe-salah-and-reds-heroes-complete-ucl-redemption-as-

Boscojugunu:Am not really sure you watched that match properly! The reason why Gomez was preferred to Arnold was because Arnold was having a dip in form and opposing players were targeting him as a weak spot....and putting gini as a striker is not new...he had once played in that position at Newcastle and scored a hattrick so I don't get your issue with dat decision! Secondly,we played well enough at nou camp to deserve atleast a draw but like the commentator said,Liverpool strikers were just not ready to score that day! But to be honest, who cares about how we got to the finals or how we won the champions league trophy! If you are indeed a Liverpool fan,you will know that after 14 years of being trophy-less(the league cup won in 2012 was not a major trophy),we needed to get this trophy for what we did this season.....it doesn't matter how its gotten as long as its within the dictates of the law of soccer! Finally, if klopp ever gets sacked right now according to you, barca will be the first to sack valverde and appoint klopp instantly! Some times you don't know what you have until you lose it,you have a motivator and a unifier who just gave Liverpool a trophy and yet you are still questioning his methods....smh |
crowley:Bro you are indeed a brain box! It takes a intelligent mind to comprehend wat went down last night! |
Boscojugunu:Go and sack him nah...smh If it were ajax I assure you, with their naivety, they would have been destroyed before half time! Being an adventurous team, they would have left spaces like they did against spurs....and the likes of mane and salah would have used them to increase the goal haul in the champions league! If Ajax were good enough to beat Liverpool, why did the lose at home to a team that lost to Liverpool in the finals? |
jelel6:U don't need to explain anything to him...He is just trying to play down on the victory of Liverpool! They were the ones who called Liverpool bottlers and a cursed club that will never win anything! Now that Liverpool have won, they are trying their best to question how lfc won! |
maoolakanm:Klopp's interview says it all! It was all about winning cos nothing else mattered! No one will award or applaud you for playing very well... He had been playing very well in his finals and still lost! |
Champions of Europe!! ![]()
|
AAA593:Ohh please save it! one excuse or the other from haters.... why didn't they get to the finals? From Liverpool being bottlers according to haters to man city could have done better! Una no dey tire to beef? If juventus were good enough, why did they lose to ajax? If barca was good enough, why did they lose scandalously to Liverpool? If man city was good enough to beat Liverpool, why did they lose on aggregate to Tottenham in the quarter finals? |
If you want to know the haters of Liverpool, watch their comments! Many people here did not want Liverpool to win! Whether Tottenham did not play well or not is not important....Liverpool won and that's what matters! YNWA |

HT Very cagey game! spurs want to come out but are afraid of the counterattacks from Liverpool.... same with Liverpool! The only advantage for Liverpool is the scoreline! The game will likely open up in the second half and spurs might need to take a risk if they are to get anything from this game...however,that will definitely leave them exposed at the back! Liverpool will need to take advantage of the spaces when spurs get adventurous....another goal from Liverpool will settle things down for them and a third may just place the game beyond Tottenham! |

Am neither shocked nor perturbed when I hear such disturbing news! They happen every day and the reason why we don't get to know is if they are not reported on nairaland or a national daily newspaper! That will give you a hint about the seriousness of the issue of road accidents in nigeria! I will say this again and won't stop saying this.....God cannot help those who he has perfectly equipped to handle such situations! We can keep up with the "it shall not happen to me and my family" razz..... We can pray night and day about it but as long as we don't back our faith with corresponding actions,we will sadly keep hearing and witnessing fatal accidents like these whether reported or not reported! |
You will no longer need to pretend about how happy you are, you will need not give false impression your life is great, your life will become truly great when the world and the people in and around your life can feel and experience the god nature of kindness, generosity, sincere care, tolerance and unconditional love. The government is not the source of your pain, and it’s not the parents that hurt you, the lover that messed with you, your kids behaving badly, your employer that’s nasty, or employees that are selfish. Happiness flows from inside out, not from outside in. When you find your divine nature, you will find yourself in truth. It’s time to find you, my friend. Frankly speaking Muyiwa Afolabi |
Dear friend, a life committed to pursuing happiness, pleasure, joy, peace and satisfaction will never have it. The only key to having all these in your life is to give it to others without expecting them to repay you. He that wants to preserve his life will lose it first. The way to have life is to give your life to others. You must love and accept people unconditionally, you don’t have to tolerate their wrong, but you must accept them as they are and be kind to them even when they do not deserve it. Being this way is living like a god that you are. Living like a mere mortal is alien to your divine nature. Forgiveness, tolerance, selflessness and unconditional love is the godlike nature you carry in your spirit. When you recognize this nature and begin to live your life in line with this truth, suddenly depression will disappear, fear will vanish, self-confidence will return, happiness will abound, peace will come through and your life will suddenly have a great meaning. When you cease to compete with others, you are not driven by the desire to impress or oppress anyone anymore, you live a life that is willing to give more than take, you give to the needy because they lack not because you’re stylishly buying favors from God, then you will find your real self and your soul healing will show up speedily. |
Dear friend, for how long do you want to keep up with a life that brings you nothing but sadness, when do you truly want to be free and delivered from your fears, anxiety, insecurity, low self-esteem, and shameful habits? For how long can you sustain this double life? For how long do you want to keep up with a pretentious life? Listen to me, you can’t keep reacting and acting based on the pain experienced or scars embedded in your soul, it’s time for freedom. Hear me, my dear friend, the world is not designed to be perfect or flawless. In fact, the purpose of mankind is to keep the world from self-destruction and decay, without humanity and people truly committed to sustaining great structures and preservative institutions, the world will have been long gone. Your world is not perfect because your dad is not perfect, your mum is not perfect, your siblings are not perfect, your lover or spouse is not perfect, your employer is not perfect, your employees are not perfect, your customers, clients and associates are not perfect, your government is not perfect, your religious leaders are not perfect and most of all, you are not perfect. If no one is perfect, it is unrealistic to expect a perfect life. Stop living your life based on what you wish for, live your life based on what is really real. It’s not the imperfect people in your world that hurt you, it’s purely your expectations from them hurting you. |
Being with them singing, dancing and being offered mostly false hope is therapeutic. At least, It offers temporary relief to think you can purchase real joy, peace, and fulfilment by giving money to a God that literally owns everything including you. Once out of the gathering of temporary relief and motivation, the realities of your life surges back up to the surface. The loneliness is real, the depression is still there and you’re still struggling to find meaning for your life and purpose for your existence. In the core of intense anxiety, frustration mental torture and internal torment, you turn to things, to habits that offer destructive relief and respite, you turn to drugs, tobacco, alcohol, debauchery, obscene sexual habits; communion with weird spirits and even sorcery. In your loneliness, in your privacy, in your cold empty world, when no one is there and no one is paying attention, you escape into scary and dangerous things, thoughts and habits that are slowly killing you and wasting your soul. |
