Hi Doc,

Can untreated astigmatism cause tremor?
by tremor, is it the eye lid or the eyeball itself?

Hello doctors.
I noticed around July, lights were brighter than normal and every light has halo and starburst at any time of the day.
I don't see this things before. Until recently, I checked my eye in the mirror and I noticed some kind of things moving up my cornea when I blink, I also see bigger ones too. I also realized my right eye is not as sharp as the left eye. I haven't seen this before.
please help.
how old are you? Is it on one or both eyes? Is there any systemic illness you are managing. ? Any associated pain or redness ?

Can you recommend an artificial drop for me?
Tho he gave me an appointment which is next month. But the eye disease cannot progress if the pressure continues to stay within the normal range? And will i still do more CVF tests? I have done 2 so far.
people could have pressures within normal range and still have a progression of the disease. Aside ensuring, the pressures are well controlled, you'll still have to be monitored for progression of the disease hence it's a journey your Dr would have to guide you through. You'll need to do CVF occasionally. Maybe once in a year or as your Dr deems fit.

Yes i have dry eye too and you told me to do an assesment two months ago. I complained about it during my scheduled consultation last week and the doc taught me a warm water therapy he said i should dip towel into warm water and squeeze it then place it on the eyes but i haven't started doing it.
you should probably be on an artificial tear drop. Maybe that could help you in adjuct to the warm compress

Good mrng Doc
Please does it mean my pressure is high when i see Halos around light/bulb? I don't look at digital or TV screens at night but these days i spend a lot of time on my phones at night so when i wake up in the mrng and i look at the bulb in my room i used to see that rainbow like ring around the bulb. But when i don't spend time on my phone before going to bed this won't happen when i wake up.

So does seeing halos mean my pressure is high at that time?
not really. Hallos isnt particular only to having high eye pressures only. There are various eye conditions that can cause that such as dry eye, ocular media opacities , astigmatism, keratoconus etc. It might not be related to your eye pressure which is in your case is well controlled . Did i at any time suggest u did an assessment for dry eye?

If someone keeps to his antiglaucoma drugs, is he still likely to go blind?
If your drugs are able to bring the pressure and maintain it at the point where there wouldnt be a progression of the disease, then the person wouldnt go blind from it. Putting and maintain the pressure at which the disease would not progress is the key thing. Hence you have to be managed through by your Dr as from time to time it's necessary you visit Dr who would conduct tests to monitor if the disease is progression or not. It's very important sticking to your meds and also important your Dr evaluates the disease for progressiob from time to time.

What does this mean
this is quite dicey. I'll be needing other clinical findings to actually tell what might be wrong here. The print out shows you are having a large cup which could be normal in some cases or indicative of glaucoma. The right eye shows some areas thicker than normal which could be indicative of edema. The left eye shows some areas of thinning in the inferior portion defiles a rule we call the ISNT rule as the inferior portion ought to be the thickest portion followed by the superior, the nasal portion, and then temporal portion in a normal eye. Otherwise, it could be indicative of glaucoma. Another thing for concern is the assymetry between the nerve fiber thickness in both eyes. In summary i do not think everything is cool here but your Dr that had u examined would be in a better position to provide a possible explanation for what is wrong looking at other clinical findings.

hello
I'm not feeling comfortable here I have posted this before yet no one replied me,but if it's BBniaja, the thread will be full
This is a serious health problem and I want all of your opinions
Um,how can I start, huh
Well good day everyone,I'm sorry I have bad news
But with your indistinguishable help I would be okay
Well I am a virgin,I have not slept with any woman, but we sometimes dance soapy grin
So for a week now I've been getting some development on my private part mostly
Like on my balls, there are some painful spots on it and it's spreading to my shaft,it's pinkish in color and it's very itchy and painful and also my penile skin is shrinking
Also it's on my thigh too and also on the centre of my butt,
On my armpit too
So a quick search on Google tells me many things, but the one I grab there was that it's called 'yeast infection'
And that bring me to my roommate who is always scratching his body, then fortunately I sneaked into his phone and I saw his photos of his dick with the same thing happening to me,but what I'm wondering is that how is it contracted through men, because I have never used any of his things before except his phone
Well let us don't deviate from the the topic
So what I'm asking is this,I'm not actually capable of going to the hospital currently
So I'm Asking what other remedies can one used to cure this and how long will it take for it to go away, because I don't fancy seeing this thing on me
Please I need you benevolent advice embarassed
Thank you all for you advice
you might be having scabies

I think he's advising men not to make their plans having their wife's money in mind but that doesn't mean the man cannot request financial assistance from the wife where or when necessary.

Hello docs in the house, @ optm
Yesterday I noticed underneath my right eye was paining me like I had an injury there but I dismissed it. At midnight I woke up & decided to take a look at it, I noticed underneath my lower eyelid was a bit swollen.
This morning when I woke up, I decided to take a very good look at it and noticed a very tiny boil-like spot at the middle of my lower eyelid and realized that's what has been causing me discomfort. I've checked online & seen that its Stye based on the description.
What can I do & what should I avoid doing pls? I'm seeing its a bacterial infection (stapph) & I'm honestly concerned because of my babies. Thank you.
NB: There's this new soap I tried out on my face yesterday, I applied and left it on my face for almost an hour... Then about 2/3 hours after washing it off, I began feeling the pain... Could it be a reaction caused by irritation after using the soap?
from your description, it should be stye and you will be needing an antibiotic eye drop. You could aswell apply warm compress.

No other way to treat it apart from surgery?
none that i'm certain of nevertheless, some persons claim early cataract can regress with an eye drop called can-c. I haven't used it in practice as it's quite expensive and it's said you'll need to use multiple bottles of the drops to get results hence i cannot attest to its efficacy. For now, the only treatment i 'm sure of is by surgery

Good morning Dr.

Update!

It's been like 2months since he started using glasses. I noticed the turn has reduced whenever the glasses are off(when the need arises). There's still deviation at intervals if u carefully observe but not as obvious as it used to be.

What's your input sir...
wow i'm glad there's improvement. Ensure he continues with the glasses until his next appointment .

hello sir optm... there is one hospital I want to visit and they are doing free testing for the whole of September... if eventually I was tested and I was told I will need an eye glass or eye drop, how much do you think this will cost me bcus I am going there with just 4k for the eye glass... please I need your quick response to enable me to decide... thank you
truthfully 4k cannot get you glasses in a private clinic. For drugs, maybe one or two depending on the type of drugs/ practice . I'll encourage u to go and after examination find out the cost and possibly return to get what u'll be needing as different clinics hv different prices for services they offer. If you are needing glasses, you'll be buying a frame and paying for lenses too . I do not think 4k would do much

it depends . Most private clinics would charge between 5 - 10k for reg and consult. You could get one cheaper depending on location

Hi pls my eye/eye lids have been itching me for years, though not severe but once in a while. When I was little I have tried different eye drops still no permanent changes, and it's like my eyes are quite small and uneven can too much scratching cause this?
some persons have small eyes naturally but when the eye ball starts shrinking all of a sudden, then there's a problem and needs an expertise evaluation. itching most times could be as a result of allergy although not in all cases hence, u'll need an expertise evaluation
