This is obscene. They need to start arresting people who do this shit. This is sexual abuse. Look at the one back there with a smile on her face. I could just vomit right now

It is simply just the way Nigerian "journalists" I use that term very losely) write. I am willing to bet that this woman knew this family before the incident and that there was already some bad blood.

Family › Re: What If He Cheats? by Outstrip(f): 12:17am On May 19, 2011
Aren't you being a little simplistic even in using the example you used. Cheating is bad but most people will not walk out from one single case of cheating. arnold is a serial cheater. He has been forgiven more that once. This case is even worse. He fathered a child more than 10 years ago and the woman has lived with them for 20 years. Sorry but you're being too simple about it

People like ,genevieve nnaji Rita Dominic, yvonne nelson etc wouldn't be caught dead with hairy legs.
Okay let me say some. Have you noticed though that Ini Edo flaunts hers. Maybe now that she lives in the US she has gotten rid of it. I guess anything in this world can be seen as sexy

Career › Re: Is It Too Late To Change Careers At 40? by Outstrip(f): 1:32pm On May 17, 2011
You just have to believe in yourself. As long as you are alive then you should not place limitations on yourself. I know someone who became a pharmacist at 45. If you want to do it then just do it. Good luck

Culture › Re: Titilayo :: The White Girl Tha Speaks Yoruba Fluently by Outstrip(f): 3:50pm On May 15, 2011
What I find amazing is not that she speaks the language though that is pretty impressive. It is the mannerisms (is this a word). Her body language is even Nigerian. You cannot learn that from a book. She must have not only learned the language but probably spent a lot of time with Nigerians
Fashion › Re: Is Anyone Else Sick Of Hair Attachements In Our Black Ladies? by Outstrip(f): 12:59pm On May 13, 2011
Everybody wears extensions now. Black girls (depending on were they are from) might be more flamboyant with their styles though

Try peroxide before you brush. You might need to dilute it. If you are in Nigeria I cannot say do the same because Iam not sure of regulations of over the counter peroxide. dilute some peroxide in water and soak a cotton ball in it. Wipe the babies mouth thoroughly. Gums, cheeks, under the lips and around inside his mouth. Have him rinse and spit and then brush his teeth as usual. If it does not help then maybe you need to take him to a doctor. Try this first. I can't imagine why it will not work
Family › Re: What Do You Think As A Parent? by Outstrip(f): 11:50pm On May 11, 2011
I would imagine that it would be harder for a father to have the sex talk with his daughter but most Nigerian parents (my parents age) did not talk to their kids about sex. They might have the fornication talk though  grin

Health › Re: My Dad's Doctor Attitude Shocked Me (pls Read My Story) by Outstrip(f): 7:26pm On May 04, 2011
oh please all of you saying this cannot be true should go and rest. My cousin went through something even more petty when she had surgery because she insisted on hanging her clothes in the closet in the private room that she was paying a ridiculous amount of money for. The nurses said he does not like the patients to use the closets. The doctor threatened to call off the surgery. He finally agreed to do it though but she still had to come to the states anyway to get a hysterectomy because the bastard doctor chopped her insides to pieces. Thank God she already had all the children she wanted and is now 100% healthy. That is the only thing we care about. Useless doctors.
Family › Re: Women, Did You Change Your Signature After Marriage? by Outstrip(f): 7:09pm On May 04, 2011
oada:
I didnt change mine, but i know of a woman who didnt change hers for many years , then she travelled to America for some business or so, and she was in a situation where she was required to get something after she had filled a form and signed her signature, she signed and was told that her signature has nothing to so with her name, i.e her signtaure was totally different from what she has written as her name, so she had to change it to reflect her name. so if you are married and your signature as a single lady is totally off what your new name is, then please change it, you never know when it would be a problem. Mine somehow fits into my married name so i didnt bother changing it.
Your friend either doesn't know what she is talking about or you totally misunderstood her. Your name can be Jackson and you can sign as dog and nobody gives a hoot. I did not change my signature. My maiden name and married name are very similar and even then most women do not change it. What for?
Politics › Re: I Slept In The Bush For 3 Days To Stay Alive – Female Corps Member by Outstrip(f): 6:13pm On May 03, 2011
Pukkah:
The poor corps members feared for their lives and sought refuge in the barracks. The soldiers have promised to accompany them to Niger state but they've been waiting for security clearance before stepping out of the barracks with them. As at yesterday evening they were still there.
This is disheartening. Further proof that GEJ is a mongoose. If this man was ready to show that he is a man not to talk of a president then you will not be telling me right now that those young men and women are still hiding out there in fear for their lives. They would have been home by now. That would have been a simple small step to show that GEJ is even remotely competent. What will it take for a federal government to get them out of there especially when he needs to be making a statement that he is deeply moved by this. Useless people that call themselves leaders in that country. I get so annoyed when I read things like this. This is just about the most vexing thing I have heard all week. GEJ GET YOUR ASS FROM UNDER YOUR OMBERELLA AND GET THOSE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN HOME. How hard can it possibly be. Send the entire armed forces if you have to just do something. Golly. I just tire.
Politics › Re: I Slept In The Bush For 3 Days To Stay Alive – Female Corps Member by Outstrip(f): 9:10pm On May 01, 2011
Maybe they will start issuing visas to people who are being forced to go and die for a country that does not give a hoot about them. They are crying about brain drain and yet they nonchalantly place peoples lives in danger every single day. For what? I just hope that the rest of the world is watching. When 21 year olds start showing up at embassies trying to leave the country so as not to serve that is when this useless government will sit up. Then again what the hell am I talking about. These clowns have sold their souls to the devil. they couldnt care less if every Nigerian drops dead.

War is not the answer really. This is sad. As we reflect on this tragedy let us all pray for these people and their families today. Let us pray for healing. I am not praying for Nigeria anymore. I am tired
your cousin is serving in minna? and she insists it's safe there?

what a joke

i was right in minna when the whole violence started, if u don't know, more than 10 people lost their lives in minna.
i was almost a victim of the violence,
was it not in minna that almajiris went to christian corppers lodge, locked 50 of them up and set it ablaze, if not the bravery displayed by the leader of the corpers in breaking the padlock which saw corppers escaping, they would have been rosted to death.
if not for the intervention of security personnels, the casualty would have been uncountable,
my friend lost his life, properties burnt and looted
if u don't know, almajiris in minna are more dangerous
Well I will tell my mom what you said. I can only go by what the person who is there said. She said she is safe in the part of Minna she is in. She said Minna is not really the northern part. If it was up to me she will not be there with her konk igbo name for that matter
