Every family is different. You fiance needs to get over it. You should even seriously consider why he is being headstrong at the request that you parents have made that he not come so often. My parents were the exact same way. It is their home and you are their child. Your fiance needs to respect that.

It depends I guess. Autism is not considered a mental health issue. It is more neurological. I don't know about dyslexia but I will definitely look it up. To be honest I would have thought it would be considered neurological. There is just not enough awareness in Nigeria. I am pretty sure that many autistic children are left at a church somewhere for someone to cast out their demons and maybe even starved to death to exorcise these so called demons. I think when we start to delve into this thing we would need to start takng prozac or something to cope with what is going to unfold. It is just a world that we have not really gotten into in Nigeria.

So are you taking her word for it that the child is not yours? If the pregnancy was lost why did you still do a dna test or how for that matter? This story is getting wilder by the minute. Anyway every thing in life is for a reason and we learn better from the not so nice things that happen to us. You will re marry and have more children and if your story is true she will likely have regrets for the rest of her life

Why should I boast about my usbands accomplishments when i can boast about mine . Seriously though the part of your post that irritated me was the were you talked about the ones who sit at home and their husband brings home all the money. Most of them cannot even retire gracefully if you check their finances. The other half will look at you as if you are speaking a foreign language if you even ask them something as simple as what their tax bracket is. Boast about what? Mscheeeeeeeeeeeew. I did and i did it with a lot of guilt. I was not true to myself. It might not work for you but I know that it would have made things easier had I waited till I was ready. It also helps if the other person feels the same way. You can keep each other in check.
