Officially the 7th highest grossing film ever.
Could topple NWH next weekend.

Minus Jurassic World, top 10 is just Disney things...absolute domination.
JC is seriously that guy! I'm sorry i ever doubted this man.

It has broken even i think right?

Mann...Spambot working overtime to get you!

One of my favorite moments of the film was Siobhan correcting Colm about Mozart.

It shows that Colm was not as smart as he appeared to be, and cracked open his wise old man facade. He was being truthful to about his reasons for tanking the friendship, but his methods for doing so are still crap.

He is wise, but also bitter and stubborn, and that so he thinks that the key to breaking his monotony is by suffering.

I don't actually think that Colm hates Paidric. He hates himself, and he is using Padraic being "dull" as an excuse to push his one true friend away.

Avoiding movies that have a runtime of over 2hrs for now, but i am hearing good things about "The Fablemans", i will get to it soonest.

Yeah. I've been hearing about DDL for years but don't care much for his films. Him retiring early sef didn't put much enthusiasm to his filmography.
Retired when the ovation was loudest chief. Most actors ain't gonna reach the height he attained. Give "Lincoln" and "There will be blood" a watch...good stuff.

Yea, true that. She's Oscar Royalty. The very few people that can't do no wrong.
Prolly in the same class like Viola Davis.
That's why Viola was kinda annoyed when last year's TV show The First Lady was slated by critics. grin grin
That Meryl Street sef ehn, na principalities and powers on here own. grin
Funny enough I haven't watched any DDL movie.
DDL na egbon adugbó o...Proper actor ngl. Has 139 wins from 212 nom!, Won the 5 major movie awards for one role, twice and he has 3 Oscar best actor in a leading role award. Sadly, he's retired now.

Right. It's mainly cos of the numerous awards shout and Cate Blanchett that makes me wanna watch it. Downloaded it since early December.

I knew it'd be boring but not this boring. embarassed
Anyways I get to hear Cate's voice in all its glory.
That voice dey gimme h@rd-on_.... grin
Cate Blanchett is an "Oscar Baby"...has 2 already and every movie she's in carries the clout. Just like Meryl Streep or Daniel Day Lewis.

I saw "Blue Jasmine" (2013) back then and it was the most normal movie and with a normal plot with fairly normal performance you will ever see, only for Cate Blanchett to win Oscar's best actress award for it months later.

The Banshees of Inisherin .....8/10

Great movie. Top tier acting from Collin Farell. But bruh, this moving became annoying at some point cos the protagonist was so annoyingly dumb and codependent. The fvvk man. Can't you be your own man!
It truly questions what you think you know of someone all your life.

I can see why it's getting so much Best Picture shout.
At bolded... Justice for Pàdraic

I feel his anguish because if my best friend wakes up one day and seemingly says he doesn't want to be friends with me anymore to the point that he would cause himself bodily harm if i go close to him without any logical reason ( him been dull it's not logical enough for me), i would want answers too and closure.

This was the best movie i saw in 2022 btw...Top top tier... I'm have always been a serial advocate for Irish cinema and i am yet to be let down!

"The Devil's Hour" (2022)

This noir psychological thriller needs more than your attention to fully unravel!

A woman seemingly wakes up at 3:33am everyday aka "The Devil's Hour" cascading into a series of events that involves time looping, reality intertwining and related but ambiguous at the same time, but if you sieve through this ambiguity, it pays off in the end.

Excellent cast, excellent writing and quite frankly excellent show.

"Does Déjà vu happen randomly or it happens because we have lived this same "life" over and over again"?

I guess but it kinda does look opportunistic.
Like it's one's fault that the SUV had a mechanical failure,
Suing a car company isn't gonna bring your son back from the dead.
But sure being a few millions richer will make your grief more bearable.
In saner climes where the law actually works, "Wrongful Death claim" is a thing and it's very common. If for anything, it isn't seen as "opportunistic" rather it offers some sort of closure to the deceased family with a monetary claim as a side bonus. I didn't think in this case, if the car company wasn't liable in some way that the parents would have won the case. I have seen a docu where companies review their "wrongful death suites" and use it to correct what went wrong and ultimately improving their services going forward. If the law actually works in this clime, many hospitals would have since been out of business with the suites they will be facing daily.

RE: "Batman Begins"(2005)

scarecrow: you look like a man who takes himself too seriously. do you want my opinion? you need to lighten up [sets batman on fire] !

Started my customary yearly run of Christopher Nolan's take on the "Dark Crusader" early because the film kickstarted not only a beautiful trilogy, but a whole new era in cinema in and out of the superhero genre.

I really like how the script not only explains how fear played a big part in the creation of this icon, but carries this theme throughout the film, basically becoming its core theme. This film differs from that of many other superhero films made at the time, which are anchored in a sense of heroism. On the other hand, the backdrop of this film is insecurity and how it can be used both as a tool to bring chaos, but also as a tool to bring hope as well. Those are the roots of Batman, and it seems to me that Nolan and his screenwriters were incredibly wise to introduce this character in this way. I was also blown away by the very organic humour. At the end of the day, one can also argue that this film belongs to Hans Zimmer and to the score that elevates the film, especially its emotional component.

As for the performances, Christian Bale is excellent as both Bruce Wayne and Batman. There hasn't been a film that has portrayed both of these performances equally before, usually movies have focused on one or the other. This film does a great job at giving us as an audience the opportunity to enjoy Bale in both roles equally and nail both down. Cilian Murphy gets less screen time than I expected, but that only proves how good he is that he makes his mark with so little time. Likewise, Michael Caine's Alfred as this voice of reason is excellent; he's just there to provide quotes, and he succeeds superbly.

My one criticism of this film is the mediocre fight sequences, as has been seen before in Nolan's work, despite his superb skill at crafting and executing these wonderfully complicated action sequences, in this Batman film scenes like the one on the train left a lot to be desired and the shaky camera simply took me out of the picture. In addition, it is difficult to feel sorry for Mrs. Wayne when she feels like a cardboard figure in the background. Also, Gordon's version here seems to be more comic relief than anything else.

All in all, this is a magnificent origin story that takes this character to a whole new level, allowing him to go from a joke character to a more nuanced one.

Up next...The Dark Knight (2008)....Excited at this prospect to say the least

I'm good at avoiding duds too but this one has good reviews and was from the creators of "Dark".
You've got to be clairvoyant to know it won't get renewed.
"Dark" was an unexpected gem. It turned out to be one of Netflix's best show both critically and commercially. I guessed with that hype, that's why they gave the riens to the creators to produce that same magic, unfortunately the reviews were too mixed to move further with the project, Netflix has been bleeding financially recently so they are carefully make making sound financial decisions now.

Anyways, I have already copped it based on the rep of the creators off the hype of "Dark", so i might as well just see it.

Beats me lol.
Some franchise are just too big to fail I guess.
Kinda crazy how 4 out of 6 "Jurassic" films grossed over a billion.
The Steven Spielberg era was pretty tight, infused and close to the source material of Micheal Crichton. They started to lose the plot with the Chris Pratt era and "World Dominion" was the final straw.

Man...i have cut ties with torrent for years now, except is absolutely necessary and for recent files that still have proper seeds. YTX, Torrengalaxy and PSA have properly seeded torrents for recent files and these are my goto release groups if i want to do torrent at all.

GloriousGbola:
Well yes and no

You can see the seeds listed there. The ion10 torrent has 6 seeds. 3seeds is usually OK for over 1mb/s in my experience

Also I redownloaded the entire seasons 1 to 3 on 17th of December last year

Which is why I remembered and responded

So I guess they should still be up

Also qbitorrent has multiple search plugins. You can find them on the github page. These will scrape multiple sites for the Torrents you are looking for.

You can search for Torrents from within QB, have multiple hits thanks to the plugins and you can merge these. This has helped sometimes with slow downloads.
My tech chief wink at bolded, the uncertainty with torrent is too much, you basically just hope that these torrents are seeded well enough and this might be too much for regular folks that just want to get an episode or a movie with little hassle and move along wink.... Imagine some one asking me for a series or movie link and i am telling the person to go to "github"....The person might lay a curse on me grin

There is 720p x265 rarbg
And 1080p rarbg

Something for every bandwidth smiley

Not quite as compact as psa, but the psa links are almost certainly gone unless you want uptobox wahala

I use qbittorrent. With it you can actually select the files ( ep1 ep4 rather than everything ) before you start downloading

Hope this helps
Torrent should be last place to look for old files imo expect you have an unlimited bandwidth. From your Screenshot, Seeding for some of the files are red, their is no way one is completely downloading them successfully except it somehow miraculously gets enough "seeds". Only few release group seed thier old files. I once waited, a whole month to get a software off Piratebay one time because of this issue.!

James Cameron has never had a movie score below an A- from Cinemascore....

* Aliens- A
* The Abyss- A-
* Terminator 2- A+
* True lies- A
* Titanic- A+
* Avatar- A
* Avatar 2- A

The man knows his stuff.
Doesn't try to be smarter than his audience, unlike Nolan.
Instead he respects them.
He knows how to please a crowd.
Nolan has his core niche too and does movies that pleases that Niche. Bar "Tenet" that he tried to outdo himself, i think the rest of his filmography are pretty solid critically. "Memento" "The Prestige", "TDK" Trilogy, "Inception", "Interstellar" and "Dunkirk" have great replay values because these movies transcends beyond traditional film making and with Hans Zimmer scoring his movies, you have a longing memory of these movies, i mean most of the best film scores i have heard are from Nolan movies.

The only JC movies that have any sort of coherent replay value outside of the cinema IMO is "The Terminator 2" and "Titanic".

Why wasn’t Bones And All in Nigerian cinemas? I planned to purchase a ticket for Queen and Slim back in the day and never saw it listed anywhere. This all-profit business model is not the way to go. Niche audiences are a thing.
If you are not in an "all profit business" in a 3rd world economy like this then you have no business doing "business" at all.

Nigeria simply doesn't have a strong cinema culture that will allow for just any movie release to be on show, that is a sure fire way for the cinemas to loose money. So they tend to focus more on blockbuster movies that will at least bring an appreciable number of crowd, besides "Bones and All" had a VOD release less than 30 days from the theatrical release, if i own a cinema in this clime, i am most definitely skipping it.
