I av passport, toefl, o'level, pls wat else do i need for student visa to australia?

We're viewed as having more potential immigrants impetus than the girls haha, whereas in reality, the girls are much potential immigrants. They go to the US, even before they round off their studies, they're married. They do not need to return home hahaha. obsy2020: @ oyetpel, I never applied to VIU neither was I denied. I got the visa on my first attempt. Besides I'm going for my MSC not BSC.

WildChild00: One thing I seems not to understand about this student visa stuff is that wen one is refused visa, he/she can not appeal, one has to either start all over again, in terms of paying new visa fee.

Yes o broda, the USA is making a lot of revenue, i went there on monday 7:30, saw lyk 1000 people, lets calculate, $200*1000, dats a lot of money in a day. And this visa is lyk lottery, sometimes they fell lyk giving visa to people, a times they decides to deny, bet why, because all of us wan leave naija... and me go leave one day, or start revolution 4 naija and be lyk MADIBA.

i want to ask if i should apply to a well ranked school, and apply for visa again. i av been denied visa b4, and am in a university 4 naija. Apart 4rm school, i can do any sport, am good at soccer, i av been training for boxing too, and i know i can make it professionally there, am 19, and age is not on my side to achieve dis, sport is for young pple. Dats part of the reasons i wanted to go to america.

Dude, sorry about your denial. I really feel for you.

But you were warned about this school. It almost always guarantees a denial. Plus I hope the answers you typed here were not your exact responses coz these are way too short and unconvincing for even the most lenient VO to grant you a visa.

Now, even if the VO was new and had no idea about VIU, the second bolded (that you are in school here) would have likely also fetched you a denial. I still suspect till today that this was the major reason I was denied in January 2009 (not the nonsense they ticked on that white paper) coz i did the SAT, had a pretty good score (1920/2400), got into a very decent school, got some partial scholarship AND I WAS DENIED. I did not re-apply. I shrugged my shoulders, forgot about all the painstaking efforts I put into the whole thing while combining school, continued with my undergrad, finished with a decent CGPA (very very few points short of a 2:1 tho), went for NYSC, studied for and wrote the GRE, got a pretty good score, got admission with a GA and partial tuition waiver and by God's grace i will be heading to the embassy very soon (havn't gotten a date yet) and I am confident that I WILL GET THE VISA by God's grace.

Let me also tell you that by June/July that year, some serious things happened that I was (still am) very very very grateful to God that I was in Nigeria and not the US at that time. So it turned out that the denial was a blessing in disguise! When you commit your affairs to God at inception, even if things don't work out the way you'd wished at the end, do not be bothered coz its part of His plan for you and will ultimately be to your benefit as long as you trust in Him.

I shared my story with you to encourage you based on your sad closing statements because to some extent as you can see, I've been in your shoes before. So, young man, work towards getting those grades up, make some good friends, start studying for the GRE before you go for NYSC, stay with this thread, stay informed, do all that is necessary and by God's grace, shortly after your NYSC, you'll be on your way to the US to study with your parents paying nothing more than your flight ticket and some pocket money for you.

And was Denied Visa. My voice was terribly shaking, the VO, even had to tell me to speak well, bt still it shaked till the end. It goes thus:

I also have ∂ very best priviledge to proceed for my Ph.D in my school here in Naija. (UI) but most time, it will take take like 4-6 years without grants or sponsors.
