buzugee: well take yo azz on to cali then without papers. when the patrolling border officials smash on you I see where u coming from. So in your world border patrol are the one catching illegals already inside the country? Most cities in CA is a sanctuary city so its illegal for law enforcement officials to ask for your immigration status. On the E-Verify hardly will u see companies using it here. As earlier stated Canada is another option $13k is nothing in 9ja. |

buzugee: stop advising the guy wrongly. in california they pro-actively seek out illegals. it is not a refuge state. Do u live in CA before coming to conclusion about the above matter? CA lives on illegal immigrant so there's no state that accept illegal more than Cali. U guys should stop all these stuff |

fstranger1: you know what you are doing is illegal!
you are breaking laws
whether you like it or not, sooner or later, you will have to go back, voluntarily or by force.
If your present economic situation doesnt make you go back to Nigeria voluntarily, it is a matter of time before you get caught by immigration, and when they do, you'd be forced to go back home, most likely, with some prescription meds to soothe your sore anus. omega25red: everyone advicing to marry, have you done that?if yes did you marry for love or runs? if runs what did it cost you besides your self respect and dignity?. ^^ you came to the u.s 30yrs ago how come you never married someone for the same reason you are giving?
My question to the poster is, what did you do to be in the situation your are in? were you expelled or you just didn't go to school? if you say what happened maybe people who know will be able to give you advice as to easier things to do to save your status. Yes you can go and marry someone but do you have enough money to fund it? are you ready to be practically held hostage because the woman will alway hold your immigration situation over your head when she needs something. The negatives go on and on and to top it all off the u.s immig know whats up. Anyway fix your current situation and dont further complicate what you have. Nobody is answerable to u so u r not in the position to ask that kinda question. People get married everyday and they have their own reasons of getting married to whoever they wanna marry. If u gat any problem with that then let us know Morever he can't even go back to sch again cos they will tell him to apply to USCIS for Re-instatement which is nearly impossible cos of his messed up Immigration history. The only thing that could salvage his situation now is to become an immediate relative of a US citizen. |
Why are they in a hurry to do the primary, Wait till 2011 january. ACN should cancel thier primary, Look PDP is just tricking you. I am telling you Nuhu ribadu is a member of PDP. The truth is even the states you have you may loss it. All the governors may have to run in 2011. including Aregbesola and Ekiti governor. they are not sure what PDP is up too. Do you people think it is possible for Delta state governor to have 7 years in first time. it is not possible, they are just tricking you. Look if they run an election in delta state and the governor wins again. It means he has use 7 to 8 years in power , which is unconstitutional. The PDP is only playing trick with you people. They would make all of you run in 2011. That what the constitution says. Dont you people read the constitution, Obi judgement was illegal. I am telling you the governor of delta state can not use 7 to 8 years in one term. And what apply to him, would apply to everybody. Change your primary days to after PDP dates of january 15. And see what PDP would do. So cant run Tinubu because PDP would use the EFCC. I know that what PDP would do. Nuhu Ribadu would not win. And since you are not running a yoruba person, you are not going to do well at the Poll in Yorubaland. because Labour party is running Dele momoh. Most Yoruba would vote for Dele momoh than vote for Nuhu Ribadu. And it would affect the out come of the governorship election in favour of the labour party. it either you team up with labour.
And who told u ACN will field Nuhu? They learnt their lesson during Atiku saga. No Ex PDP man can pick ACN ticket ever again ACN is going for an alliance. hannie: Well . . .as we all know BAT is so power-drunk as to make sure BRF remains unsettled. but that is not the news.
The news is that as the Ward Congress is billed to start today, Tinubu has already hand-picked candidates for ratification, making sure that people supposedly loyal to the BRF cause are ostracised.
How does it affect Lagosians ? The average Lagosian would be contented with whatever is thrown at them, in case this injustice is allowed, we might just be saying good bye to GOOD GOVERNANCE IN LAGOS STATE . . .lets just watch as today pans out to see how the congresses will go, as whatever happens today would affect all the strata of Government.
Can someone beg Tinubu to alow good governance in Lagos ? especially as he has at least gained an advantage in his home state OSUN by the installation of his no 1 stooge Aregbesola ? Is he stopping good governance? BRT is a technocrat and BAT is doing the political job just to keep PDP at bay. Some people always say they are fighting. They are best of friends. Fashola appreciate Tinubu more than anything. People are just saying all these things to cause dissafection between the two. Why on earth will BRF beef BAT? |

Travel › Re: Nigerians Living In Cyprus by oyewolejos(m): 12:22am On Nov 11, 2010 |
kheme: people keep saying the schools are not recognized from north cyprus, there is a big misconception about this!!! Northern Cyprus itself is not recognized as a country, we all know that, but that doesn't mean that the schools aren't!!!
Here's the deal, after graduation from any school in north cyprus, you MUST take your degree to the YOK organization (like ministry of education) in Turkey for their attestation. WITHOUT YOK attesting your degree IT WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! So for your degree to be recongnized anywhere in the world, you have to send it to YOK to sign it and all.
But many nigerians think that it's only the turkish students that need to take their degree to YOK and they leave the island without accreditation! you know that even your SSCE will not be recognized outside without ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs signing them, so what makes people think their degrees will be recognized outside without the ministry of education in charge of north cyprus signing their degrees it doesnt work!
i just graduated last just and my fellow students told me "there is no need to go to YOK, it's only turkish students that do that and since you're not going to use your degree in turkey, you don't need it" that was the advice i was give. they told me that oh, so and so person graduated last year and he didnt take his to YOK!
well, i don't listen to side talks usually, so i went to the international office to enquire and i was told that without YOK signing my degree, it's just as good as a worthless piece of paper, so EVERYONE has to go to YOK with their degree!
so its good to get your information from reliable sources, people!!!
as for difference between north and south, we all have different aims in life. me, i'm here to STUDY and NOT to hustle or find better life or find greener pastures. i've been to UK twice and returned. others in my shoes WILL NOT RETURN the first time! i'm not looking to go to the south. i've been here 4 and half years and it's been touch as my parents are not rich, but i still get by (Thank God) one way or another. i've worked only 3 times on this island: once for 3months (my first summer here), one for 1 week and the last was just recently for 2months. i don't get pocket money, though i'm into computers and websites (that's where i make my change) so its possible to get by. there are people who support themselves here in north cyprus and are not working.
so if you are looking for greener pastures or something, or just wanting to leave nigeria and go elsewhere, NORTH CYPRUS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. though people use it to facilitate their "escape" as it is easy to get visas from here. people are getting visas like it's free! there was a time it felt like the Uk embassy was doing visa bonanza, lol!
anyways, before coming, make proper research guided by your reason for coming here, that's my advice! :-) Are u sure u are a Graduate With your write up its easy to tell that is either your are economical with the truth about being a graduate or Cyprus educational system sucks |

I think Ribadu should contest for Adamawa Guber post. ACN winning the Presidential Poll with Ribadu as the candidate is a mirage. I know for sure in a free poll he will win in Adamawa. Buhari/Tinubu ticket won't stand cos of religion. Christians will prefer to vote for GEJ instead of allowing Muslims-Muslim ticket. Nigerians are sensitive towards religion so i believe Tinubu wont make that mistake. |
