The federal government serves United States interests. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has targeted cryptocurrency use in Nigeria, because the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has complained that 200 to 300 million dollars is transferred per week from the United States to Nigeria using cryptocurrency. |
Tonytonex:Well, this is just a theory: Diana, princess of Wales, was pregnant for Dodi Fayed, an Egyptian. The royal family did not want an outsider (Dodi and Diana's child) to be a sibling of the future king (William). It was convenient (for the royal family) for Diana to be killed in a car crash before giving birth to the baby. The British press were prohibited from broadcasting or publishing any report that suggested that Diana's death was a homicide. |
NwaAmaikpe:It could be a wedding or an engagement ring; or it could just be part of his dressing, without any "charm" implication attached. |
How does such a raging fire start in a federal government building on a Sunday evening? |
Covid-19 has an over 99% recovery rate. Drugs and natural remedies are available. The vaccines were produced in approximately one year, or less. It normally takes about ten years. The animal testing and (human) clinical testing phases were either not satisfactorily completed, or totally skipped. The vaccine manufacturers are not liable for any side affects, no matter how severe. NAFDAC said that they will rely on preliminary reports from the vaccine manufacturers, as well as approval from foreign drug agencies. NAFDAC will give "emergency approval" of the vaccines with or without its own independent examination. Just refuse to take the vaccine, regardless of anybody else's decision. |
PDPdestroyer:The British government controls broadcasting license holders in their country through Ofcom, so the statement that "the BBC is editorially independent of the British government" is not really true. On the other hand, if the Nigerian government were to ban the Chinese Global Television Network (for any reason), I wonder whether the Chinese government would retaliate by banning the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). ![]() |
ASUU and SSANU/NASU never go on strike at the same time. One group would go on strike for weeks or months, then suspend or end their strike; afterwards, the other group would list their own demands, issue warnings and eventually commence their own strike. |
juman:You are right. However, it is far easier to print a tattoo, than to remove the tattoo. We cannot all have the same preferences or dislikes as regards how we modify our appearance. However, we should be careful with procedures that are difficult to reverse. |
Cutiekatty:EFCC does not have the same mode of operation as the Thai police. EFCC is partly sponsored by a foreign law enforcement agency. These indiscriminate arrests, without a complainant, serve foreign interests. Foreign governments do not like it when their money flows steadily into Nigeria, and they do not mind using Nigerian law enforcement agencies to stop this. EFCC is far more interested in financial crime that affects foreigners than in financial crime that affects Nigerians. |

How come NURTW never goes on strike? ![]() |
lexy2014:The federal government serves United States interests. EFCC arrests "yahoo boys" indiscriminately, because FBI has said that United States citizens are sending a lot of funds to Nigeria through these "boys". CBN has now targeted cryptocurrency use in Nigeria, because FBI has said that 200 to 300 million dollars is transferred per week from the United States to Nigeria using cryptocurrency. Ponzi schemes would definitely be banned if they are used by Nigerians against United States citizens. |
If this is a test, there appears to be a lot of opportunities for "sharing of information". |
For many, this is actually good news. A lot of people would rather not take the vaccine. Why should a vaccine require storage at -70 degrees Celsius in the first place? In fact, the blame should be on the vaccine manufacturers and not on the cold storage facilities in African countries. In addition, it is difficult to trust the WHO these days. |
Where did this take place? The conversation sounds like that of a French-speaking African country. |

PDJT:A radiologist is a medical doctor, who has a specialist qualification in radiology. |
I want to assume that what Abike Dabiri meant is that it is Nigerians without a Nigerian passport who are required to pay for "visa on arrival". A Nigerian passport holder with dual citizenship should not be asked to pay for "visa on arrival". |
This statement is wrong on all levels. In the first place, civil servants are expected to be non-partisan. In addition, there is supposed to be freedom of association (and non-association) in the country. Nobody should be forced or threatened to join any group or association, or any political party. To threaten civil servants to join a (particular) political party, or else, should be regarded as criminal. |
RuddyFusion:EFCC serves foreign interests. EFCC is far more interested in financial crime that affects foreigners than in financial crime that affects Nigerians. It appears as if EFCC is on the payroll of a foreign law enforcement agency. |

Quality20:The second option is preferable. |

dayleke:How can a family, which made use of five hotel rooms as guests, not know the name of the hotel? Someone in video said that he will check online for the name of the hotel. Really! Does the hotel not have a sign board? Does the hotel not issue receipts in its name? |
Maj-Gen. Lucky Irabor did not deny the news. He said the military could not confirm whether any Chibok "girls" had escaped, because none of them were in the custody of the military. |
Tramadol is a legal pharmaceutical product; it has its uses. It is not necessary for Customs officials to seize tramadol, as long as the batch inspected is not fake or substandard. |
Nigeria should withdraw its membership from the International Criminal Court (ICC). We should not allow Nigerians to stand trial in a supposedly international court. |
The federal government is considering a lockdown because this is a condition that international and foreign donors have required if they are to provide "Covid Relief Aid". |

Has the curfew from midnight to 4 am been lifted? |
Ebenezar2O2I:Uganda is "visa on arrival" for Nigerians. |
