A unification of Nigeria and Niger will be difficult. The United States has a military base in Niger and they will use their might to frustrate such a unification. Niger is one of France' satellite countries. France would not want to lose one of their "cash cows". Remember, that in 2019, France did what they could to frustrate an independent joint West African currency. In addition, there would be a lot of opposition to the unification, especially in North Central and Southern Nigeria. |
What does RNA extraction test mean? Does the test detect the virus directly? Is the purpose of these kits to increase the number of cases in the country? Cases without infection! |
He died from an acute asthmatic attack. Just because a blood test was done, that does not prove that he died from Covid-19. Even if the Covid-19 test was reliable and the result was positive, the most that can be said is that he died with Covid-19, not from Covid-19. In the same way, if a person is HIV positive and dies from an illness, it does not necessarily mean that he died from AIDS. |
Now that there is said to be a new strain of Covid-19 in the UK, I hope they will suspend the current Covid-19 vaccine since it is not a cure and there is no guaranteed protection against the "old Covid-19", let alone the new strain. In fact, word has gone out that new strain began in areas in the UK where the Covid-19 vaccine was administered. Could this just be a coincidence? |
I had almost forgotten about Econet, with its history in Nigeria: Econet --> Vodacom --> V-mobile --> Celtel --> Zain --> Airtel |
Apart from the fact that a lot of people do not have faith in the police and the justice system, another reason why jungle justice has prevailed is because there is very high probability that those who carry out jungle justice would get away with it. How many people have been arrested and prosecuted for carrying out acts of jungle justice? |
Gwan2:The fundamental issue is that many, whether in Nigeria or in western countries, are skeptical about the vaccine, conspiracy theory or not. To play safe, just refuse the vaccine. The reason for the refusal should be a personal and private matter. |
kenzysmith:He is a financial sponsor of the vaccine. |
Even 21 supreme court justices are too many. We should try to reduce the cost of governance, or at least, avoid increasing the cost unnecessarily. The number of supreme court justices in some other countries: United States - 9 Canada - 9 Brazil - 11 United Kingdom - 12 Ireland - 9 Australia - 7 New Zealand - 6 |
MeeztaFabulouz:Depression with thoughts of contemplating suicide is a serious issue. A successful suicide is not reversible, at least not usually. Consider yourself and your children. It may be beneficial for you to seek professional help. You may see a psychiatrist (there is no shame in this). |
LegendAnselm:You may go for a DNA test to confirm whether you and the woman's son are related. |
Why is the moon sky almost always black? Is there no daytime on the moon? |
Muhylonaire007:I've never heard of this, but from personal experience I have noticed unpleasant visions while lying down face up with my eyes closed (not necessarily sleeping). |
DoctorOfDesign:Have you really done this? As an adult you were able to summon the courage or curiosity to bend over and peep through your legs in a public and crowded place like the market? And you have done this over and over again? |
FIFA bans a person for five years and still imposes a fine of 200,000 Swiss francs ($220,000). If Ahmad Ahmad refuses to pay, what will FIFA do? |
How can FIFA ban a person for life, and still impose a fine? What if Yves Jean-Bart refuses to pay the fine? |
This "accident" was not a mistake. The driver attempted to use a "shortcut" to get to the other side of the road. |
jrusky:No Covid-19 vaccine is going to be labelled "Bill Gates' vaccine", regardless of its origin. Just refuse to take the vaccine. |
As unpleasant as what Abike Dabiri-Erewa said may appear to some people, what she said is in order. She is the chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, and she is simply doing her job in this instance. Though not stated, she was most probably referring to The Federal Supreme Court of the United Arab Emirates. The Supreme Court of Nigeria does not have the power to overturn the judgement of a Court of Appeal in the United Arab Emirates. |
The issue is that Pastor Uhembe Jacob was murdered. This is what should be investigated; and the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted. Mob killings occur because the perpetrators are sure that they will get away with it. In other words, "nothing will happen." |
The Nigeria Immigration Service should not seize a person's passport or enforce exit restriction without a court order. |
CBN should not freeze bank accounts without a court order. |
Mathantics:Fulani is not a main ethnic group in Chad. |
It seems as if it is only Nigeria that declares a public holiday for this. For the sake of the economy, the number of public holidays should be reduced. Some days may just be observed without being made public holidays. |
gasparpisciotta:There was no hijacking. The crew had been aware of the stowaways on board for some time. It was more likely a betrayal by the crew. A human trafficking syndicate may have helped the stowaways to get on the ship, probably with the consent of some of the crew. However, in order for the crew to absolve themselves of any complicity before the UK authorities, they brought up this hijacking allegation. |
Escaped prisoners, who have been sentenced, and whose prison terms have almost been completed, are likely to return. However, those who are awaiting trial, as well as those sentenced to life imprisonment or death, are not likely to return. |
From the videos, there doesn't seem to be much external attack. The fire and possible jailbreak were probably an inside job. |
anonymous1759:Nigeria should withdraw its membership from the International Criminal Court (ICC). We should not allow Nigerians to stand trial in a supposedly international court. |
The balcony railing is short (low). |
