Great. While I'm not a fan of Nnamdi Kanu as I do not believe any ideology that promotes hate about any human can ever be worthy, I admire his resilience and and ability to pursue a picture he believes in without fear or finitude. Ndigbo doesn't need liberation. Ndigbo is not bound and cannot be bound. Ndigbo are the freeest people in all of Africa. Bondage is a state of mind. What Ndigbo needs is a collective spirit. A spirit that would come together and say "we have done it as individuals, we can do it collectively ". Ndigbo needs a visionarie that would say we can build a high speed rail line cross crossing Enugu-Awka- Onitsha-Nnewi-Owerri-Aba-Port Harcourt-Onne. Ndigbo needs a visionaire that understands that the millions of Igbo in Diaspora can serve as importers of goods manufactured by industrial zones built along the rail lines dotting the super entrepreneurial landscape. Ndigbo needs a visionaire that would motivate the millions of successful Igbos scattered across the globe to instead of building mansions in the village, build world class businesses that would create goods and services for Africa and the rest of the world. Ndigbo doesn't need a freedom fighter. Ndigbo needs a visionaire. I like to say, Biafra is a spirit not a nation. It is the spirit of the rising sun. That spirit that saw a people who were given just 20 pounds 40 years ago, now owning more that half of all the banks in Nigeria, 70% of all trading activities and an endless list of success stories. That is the spirit of Biafra. 2 Likes |

Two uninspiring people chilling in an uninspiring office that could pass for a poorly designed kitchen. These are men that have done nothing positive with all the money they've illegally acquired at the mercy of the masses. Jimoh Ibrahim has never held a government position but I hold him culpable as he has bought and destroyed many hitherto government institutions. 4 Likes 1 Share |

24 billion?? That's like $80 million. Hmmm. This country ehn ![]() 24 billion will buy 4000 Tractors for Nigerian farmers with combined capacity to till 20,000 hectares of land daily or 3 million hectares yearly. Each hectare producing food products of about 500,000 Naira average per planting season or 1 million Naira per year. 3 million hectares at 1 million Naira yearly equals 3 Trillion Naira worth of food products produced if common sense existed amongst those boneheads in government. No they rather spend the money on a building for that would house barely 500 workers for an agency that already operates in an existing headquarters. It's a pity. 103 Likes 14 Shares |

And slowly and steadily Buhari is turning Nnamdi Kanu into a Mandela. I'm not a fan of Nnamdi Kanu. I don't like any rhetoric that motivates hate. However I believe Nnamdi Kanu must be freed as he hasn't done anything to warrant having him locked up this long. It is Buhari that should be under trial for the killing of Biafra protesters and Shiites. 90 Likes 13 Shares |

You spent the last one year destroying Nigeria and yet you have the boldness to speak of touching lives. You've touched the lives of Nigerians negatively already. We don't want your touch. We only ask that you return Nigeria to how it was when Jonathan gave it to you guys. 4 Likes 1 Share |

The problem with Nigeria is that too many people feel they should have an opinion and yet they don't even want to read to enlighten themselves. For those who listened before commenting, you would see that with the PUL all other waste management bills paid to LAWMA would no longer be necessary. The logic is simple. Previously, when you pay LAWMA fees, it goes directly into a general pool of IGR of Lagos state. But with the PUL, the fund would to used to cater exclusively for Environmental management issues Ambode is doing a great job and presenting Lagos with intelligent leadership. 5 Likes 1 Share |

seguno2: What is wrong with that? Why should we be racist in our disposition? The future Lagos is a city that would embrace all nationalities and people of every color and creed. That's the Lagos Ambode is building. A Lagos where the color of your skin nor the variation in your accent would serve as a barrier to your potential. And just FYI, that lady is probably doing that artwork Pro bono- not receiving a dime for the work. 6 Likes 1 Share |

To think you called this non partisan!! A terribly biased opinion is more apt. Just for your information, even though I know your reasoning is set to default bias mode, why is the EFCC taking so long to announce the owner of the house? Apparently, the same Saharareporters you got your "Mrs Oke" story from is the same is the same outlet that named Muazu, NNPC lady & Anenihs daughter as owners of the money. How can a human being be so gullible as to believe another article from the same lying outlet. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I like the drive for you investment, but I don't like misinformation. The Governor is doing a great job with his Made in Aba initiative and I'm impressed at his push. However, we should stop telling lies with figures. Do you know what $1.5 billion is? A 5000 shoes per day factory for $1.5billion? If each shoe is approximately $10, then it will take 200 million shoes to generate revenue equal to the cost of the facility. That means at 5000 shoes per day, it will take 40,000 days which is 109 years for the factory to generate $2billion in revenue. The misinformation should stop already. 1 Like |

claremont: Stealing and Corruption are symptoms of a structural defect. In creating a new narrative, we need to dig up the foundation and correct the structural defects that are causing the terrible symptoms like you see in the dead airplanes, the Ikoyi loot, the Fulani herdsmen killings, the Nepa quagmire, the messy healthcare and an endless lot other. The structure is the problem and until there is a new narrative, the mess would continue. An old generation stuck in the past(the likes of Buhari, Obj, IBB and all the other names we've been hearing since we were born) cannot be left to plot future that the 20 year olds of today would live in for the next 70 years. It's a misnomer. They've had thier opportunities and have failed at it. Yes this generation might fail, but at least let them try. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

A sad narrative of what Nigeria could have been and what it has eventually become. And yet some old men who have no future think we shouldn't sit down and plot a new narrative for the future. 80 Likes 6 Shares |

So wait oh, if I have 2 billion in my account, it automatically becomes proceeds of crime. So a bank worker will now be looking through various accounts that have plenty money inside in the name of whistleblowing. The owner of the account hasn't worked in government (he was a deputy governorship candidate). What kind of country is this turning into under Buhari. Shouldn't the EFCC investigate where that money came from before rushing to the media? This is terrible. 4 Likes |

I am a teacher. I have graded my student and he failed woefully. He now announces to me the teacher that "I will be shocked when I see his results". Dear Buhari, we Nigerians are the teachers. We are the ones who grade you. Your scorecard is woeful. And you wouldn't be allowed to repeat the class. You will be expelled. 6 Likes 1 Share |

While I will commend whoever is responsible for trying, I like to be realistic. Come on, aren't we all tired of seeing photo ops of MOU's that never get off the ground? I am typically an optimist, hardly ever a skeptic. But I know this is just political showmanship. First, no reasonable private entity would spend $2 billion to build an airport facility in Onitsha which is sandwiched by 3 airports all less than 100km away with combined passenger numbers of less than 200,000 yearly. Asaba Airport= 18km. Owerri Airport: 78km. Enugu Airport= About 100km. It wouldn't make economic sense in the next 15 years. This splintering into states is one of the biggest problems we are having as Nigerians. I'd rather Ndigbo champion as a collective, on a regional basis, real projects that would transform the entire South East region into one massive economic behemoth. A high speed 350km/hr rail line from Enugu-Awka-Onitsha-Nnewi-Owerri-Aba-Port Harourt-Onne is barely 300 km and would make 10 times more sense than building another airport with shopping mall and hotels for $2 Billion. At $10 million per KM, Spain built the Madrid-Albacete high speed line. China can do it for less. That means with $3billion you can build an Enugu - Onne high speed rail line of 350km/hr. Build numerous industry specific industrial clusters with 24hr independent power plants along the rail pathway. Focus on the potential to move manufactured goods from these clusters to the Onne port for onward transport to the rest of Africa. And you will see the speedy transformation of the south east into Africa's greatest economic hubs. Imagine being able to move from Enugu to PH in 1 hour? Enugu to Onitsha in 20 mins? Onitsha to Aba in 30 mins? Imagine. And the money is easy to come by. The Ndigbo private sector would raise this money in a second. Just 20 Ndigbo business men putting up 10 billion Naira and this project is already half funded. Another 100 putting up 2 Billion and the project is already completed! The rest can come from loans. And the south East changes for ever!! Once again I repeat, Anambra doesn't need another airport not in the next 15 years. A collective regional plan that would seek to transform the entire region is better off. 12 Likes 4 Shares |

While I didn't support Obaseki initially, it's clear to all that Obaseki is the best candidate for Edo State right now and with the policies he has introduced, he will probably make the best Governor in Nigeria in no time. Edo is in for a great ride with Obaseki. 1 Like |

Ambode is making all and sundry proud. While those in Abuja keep talking about the past and claiming lack of resources, Ambode is taking Lagos to the next century. While Buhari and his cohorts are still hung up on Jonathan, Ambode is saying, despite the humongous debt Fashola left behind, I'm building more bridges and road networks in 2 years than he did in 8 years. Lagos is on the right track with Ambode. If only Osibanjo can just take over from Buhari completely!! Tinubu was on his way to becoming Nigeria's greatest and most effective kingmaker until he selected Buhari, a capital failure. Well, maybe Osibanjo is his real strategy. 22 Likes |
