Knowledge is power!!!
Love the way you broke down your points!!
In every market where glut reigns supreme, the best escape is value addition. The other option is osmosis- moving from an area of high concentration to other areas with less concentration!!

These people should not just be relieved, they should be arrested, tried and prosecuted and imprisoned!!
There's got to be some law governing that kind of misconduct!! The law is there to punish offenders and as such serve as a deterrent to other potential offenders. When relieving you of a temporary job is the worst consequence, these atrocities would keep being perpetuated!!

Was at AGRA in Dubai last year. Was pretty good and rewarding. Was at EIMA in Italy in November. Would be at the Paris International Agribusiness show Feb 21st March 1st.
These kinds of shows are the beat place to meet with the best minds in Agriculture. I have attended loads of Agric conferences globally and it has expanded my horizon.
Would definitely love to attend this one too!! The deals you get from these places are just tremendous.
PoliticsRe: Why We Can’t Proceed With Elections – Jega by PapaBrowne(op): 8:45pm On Feb 07, 2015
I was tired of all the politics already! Obviously we have have another month plus of political activities!!

While I would have loved for us to get done with these elections and get back to our normal lives, reality remains that elections must be conducted in a free and fair environment. Too many issues already. So many folks can't get their PVCs in certain states.

May the right leaders win!!
PoliticsWhy We Can’t Proceed With Elections – Jega by PapaBrowne(op): 8:44pm On Feb 07, 2015
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Attahiru Jega, has concluded a briefing meeting with 25 civil society groups in Abuja Saturday informing them that all security agencies in the country have indicated to him, in writing, that they are not available to support the elections planned for February 14 and 28.
Mr. Jega, who had an earlier meeting with political parties, is rounding up another meeting with his 36 resident electoral commissioners now on what will amount to an INEC position on whether to postpone or go ahead with the elections.
Insiders at the meeting said “its pretty much a done deal at this point that the elections will be postponed” and many of the attendees told PREMIUM TIMES they were shell-shocked and depressed at what they characterize as “a clear case of political blackmail of the state against civil society”.
Jibrin Ibrahim, a leading African election expert and senior fellow at the Centre for Democracy and Development, CDD, in Abuja, who was at the meeting, said Mr. Jega told the meeting that security operatives from all the agencies told INEC that they were commencing a six weeks special operations against Boko Haram insurgents in the north eastern corridors of the country and would rather not be distracted by the elections.
Mr. Jega announced that the security forces also said the operations are due to commence on February 14, the date INEC had planned for the presidential and federal legislative elections.
This decision, by the security forces, successfully renders INEC’s hitherto insistence to go ahead with the elections a risky venture.
To even collect ballot papers from their storage in the Central Bank of Nigeria for the elections will require security escort, which apparently is now unavailable in the light of the move by the security forces.

PoliticsRe: Broom And Umbrella Which Is More Important? by PapaBrowne(m): 1:28am On Feb 01, 2015
If you live in the 1983, of course the broom is more relevant than the umbrella. But if you live in 2015 where the vacuum cleaner has long taken over the role of the broom then of course, the relevance of the umbrella far supercedes that of the broom except ofcourse you are a desert warrior who sees the rains once a year!!

This is 2015 and in modernized countries, the broom no longer exists. The umbrella would be with us until entire cities are covered with roof and I dont think that is happening in the next 2000 years!

So choose wisely. Its a choice between the the past and the future. Broom represents the past, umbrella represents the future!

That cheap?? And you guys were going to pay manual labour 2k per day when they can't even work an Acre in a day!!

Mechanization will solve majority of our agriculture problems.

I attended and Agro Machinery event in Italy last November and to my amazement these machinery are not too expensive.

I wish a group of people can just pull funds together to fix this machinery draught!!
PoliticsRe: PDP Using Religious Propaganda Against Buhari Live In Kano by PapaBrowne(m): 3:12pm On Jan 21, 2015
killuminati:
Is anybody watching and listening to PDP presidential rally right now in Kano? I was shocked to my bone when I heard one man named Jafar who Governor Lamido of Jigawa State said is his boy.. The man (Jafar) came and started saying that Buhari is following Christians to the church to pray that Buhari is not a true Muslim etc. He to the crowd not to vote Buhari cos he has betray Islam. And the same PDP is saying Buhari will Islamise Nigeria. What's really happening?!
It goes to show largely that the majority of Buhari followers up North are following him because he is a muslim.

Now let me ask you a question, if Buhari comes out to say he has converted to Christianity would he still have all those followers from the north??

I'm proud of you guys. Jasper, you are such an inspiration. Despite the health challenge you had, you keep pushing. Abeg small small with the manual labour oh.

PoliticsRe: Exclusive Video: Buhari Supporters Burnt PDP's Bus In Jos Yesterday by PapaBrowne(m): 1:50am On Jan 11, 2015
FastShipping:
LIARS!

Buhari supporters indeed. I did not see any APC or Buhari supporters in the video. I only saw youths who have problem seeing PDP bus. The youths were angry to see bus of a party who has brought misery on them for 16 years. A party who has failed to provide them security against Boko Haram.

Below was what happened to Buhari and APC supporters in Port Harcourt on Monday.
You are just blind!! Thats why you cant see! If having problem seeing PDP bus is an excuse to violence, then you are plain pathetic.

These same Buhari supporters would be up in arms again on February 14 when the results are announced. This time around they wouldn't be burning PDP buses but would be looking out for non muslims they can vent their demonic angst on. Sad thing Mr Fastshipping is that if you are found anywhere around these Buhari supporters on the 15th Feb after the results are announced, you wouldnt be spared as what Buhari represents to most of these violent supporters is not the change you seek but proliferation of their religion.

To think I was almost getting carried away by the brilliance of Osibanjo. With this kind of violence, never!!!

PoliticsRe: What If General Buhari Is Disqualified By INEC ? by PapaBrowne(m): 2:18pm On Jan 03, 2015
Nobody is going to disqualify Buhari. He is only going to be exposed for the fraud he is and wise Nigerians would naturally stay off his party.

He probably failed woefully in his academics(thats if he attended school at all) hence the reluctance to release his results.
He is no stranger to failure. He has always been failing. So he shouldn't be ashamed and just bring out his certificate. We promise not to laugh!

AgricultureRe: Agricultural Propagandas By The Federal Government by PapaBrowne(m): 1:03am On Dec 19, 2014
Without bias, this has been the most agriculture friendly government in the history of Nigeria. The interest Nigerians have taken in Agriculture is unprecedented.

I started an Agribusiness firm under this administration and as a direct result of Adesina's policies and we are running business worth millions of dollars in less than 2 years of operating.

If you attended Agra Innovate held last month in Lagos, you would have met with a host of young Agribusiness entrepreneurs who are pushing the limits of Agriculture. Majority of them attest to the fact that GEJ/Adesina's policies remain one of the key motivating factors.

The opportunities in Agriculture have been made more visible by this administration. The recently concluded YABDI you guys held in Ogbomosho is a testament. The fact that we have a very active agriculture board is a testament.

This government might have failed in security, Anti corruption and a host other areas, but to say it has failed in Agriculture would be utterly dishonest.
PoliticsRe: Osinbajo’s Emergence: The Drama, The Intrigues by PapaBrowne(m):
Tinubu is not a happy man. He would have become candidate if not for Amaechi and his crew.

Tinubu is a very wise man who understands politics. What he has done by presenting Osibanjo(an literally unknown person with zero political clout), is to position himself for a sellout to GEJ in order to safeguard Lagos as well as prepare for 2019 where his chances would be much higher as there would be no incumbent to deal with.

PoliticsRe: How The Western Media Portrays Africa, China, And India Differently by PapaBrowne(m): 8:34am On Dec 11, 2014
LogicPower:
The part in bold is the grim reality that you would be faced with whenever you attempt to compare life in Nigeria and in those poor European countries and, to a large extent, some Asian countries like China, India, Malaysia and Thailand, and African countries.

As you rightly observe, many Nigerians like yourself might be considered, on one on basis, as living a far better life than over 20% of people in those EU countries and over 50% of people in Asian countries. Yet those same people have far greater and freer ACCESS to modern public infrastructure and basic amenities such as good roads, hospitals, uninterrupted electricity, clean portable water and security than most Nigerians.

I think even an average city dweller in an African country like S.Africa, Egypt, Cabon, Morocco, Tunisia, and others, enjoys far greater and better ACCESS to these public infrastructure and social amenities than an average middle class Nigerian.

I have not been to any of these African cities but I do not think power generators, for instance, are as part of their daily life as they have become part of the daily life of an average city dweller in Nigeria, including an apparently well-to-do people like you.
You are right in the context you speak of. But those photos actually dwell on the private lives(average meal) of an individual family and not on public social amenities. Ask yourself why they presented pictures of a refugee camp for Africa and choose the poorest African country while presenting city life for China and India? If you have been in India you notice that Africans do live a much better quality of life than Indians
PoliticsRe: How The Western Media Portrays Africa, China, And India Differently by PapaBrowne(m): 11:13pm On Dec 10, 2014
Just sad the powerful effect this kind of propaganda reflects.

I was in Italy recently(Florence & Bologna) specifically and I kept wondering to myself why on planet earth we are made to believe these folks are better than us. My life(economically) is better in Nigeria than probably 80% of Italians. Yes they have better infrastructure, security and access to public icicles amenities, but on a person one on one level in my house I live better than a large chunk of Europeans and I can bet 20% of Nigerians can proudly attest to that.

Yes there are poor Nigerianss and very plenty but surely not as many as they want it to look.

Did you notice Buhari used the trains Jonathan commisioned in the campaign videos. It's like promoting Jonaathan's transformation agenda.

Whoever made this video doesn't like Buhari.
