She was my classmate and had the most beautiful personality at the time. She shouldn't be judged by the antecedents of her dad. |
@stagger Knowledge is power!!! Love the way you broke down your points!! In every market where glut reigns supreme, the best escape is value addition. The other option is osmosis- moving from an area of high concentration to other areas with less concentration!! |
Xzbit91:Dont worry. I have stood in that exact same spot, so I know what it means. You probably don't just get the irony. |
I hope you get a job. |
Hehehe. The inscription above. Health Control. Apt. Fayose would love this! |
As in eeeehn. . . .All these kind topics. |
These people should not just be relieved, they should be arrested, tried and prosecuted and imprisoned!! There's got to be some law governing that kind of misconduct!! The law is there to punish offenders and as such serve as a deterrent to other potential offenders. When relieving you of a temporary job is the worst consequence, these atrocities would keep being perpetuated!! |

Was at AGRA in Dubai last year. Was pretty good and rewarding. Was at EIMA in Italy in November. Would be at the Paris International Agribusiness show Feb 21st March 1st. These kinds of shows are the beat place to meet with the best minds in Agriculture. I have attended loads of Agric conferences globally and it has expanded my horizon. Would definitely love to attend this one too!! The deals you get from these places are just tremendous. |
I was tired of all the politics already! Obviously we have have another month plus of political activities!! While I would have loved for us to get done with these elections and get back to our normal lives, reality remains that elections must be conducted in a free and fair environment. Too many issues already. So many folks can't get their PVCs in certain states. May the right leaders win!! |
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Attahiru Jega, has concluded a briefing meeting with 25 civil society groups in Abuja Saturday informing them that all security agencies in the country have indicated to him, in writing, that they are not available to support the elections planned for February 14 and 28. |
Interesting!! |
Ride on Jasper! You are so inspirational!! I dey follow oh!! |
Interesting |
The only part of the story that interested me was this: Two people said they were shot at but the bullets did not pierce them. Truthfully, this story as a whole doesn't add up!!! |
If you live in the 1983, of course the broom is more relevant than the umbrella. But if you live in 2015 where the vacuum cleaner has long taken over the role of the broom then of course, the relevance of the umbrella far supercedes that of the broom except ofcourse you are a desert warrior who sees the rains once a year!! This is 2015 and in modernized countries, the broom no longer exists. The umbrella would be with us until entire cities are covered with roof and I dont think that is happening in the next 2000 years! So choose wisely. Its a choice between the the past and the future. Broom represents the past, umbrella represents the future! |
jasper7:That cheap?? And you guys were going to pay manual labour 2k per day when they can't even work an Acre in a day!! Mechanization will solve majority of our agriculture problems. I attended and Agro Machinery event in Italy last November and to my amazement these machinery are not too expensive. I wish a group of people can just pull funds together to fix this machinery draught!! |
killuminati:It goes to show largely that the majority of Buhari followers up North are following him because he is a muslim. Now let me ask you a question, if Buhari comes out to say he has converted to Christianity would he still have all those followers from the north?? |
Hmmmmm!! Kano is up for grabs!!! These are real photos and not photos from a Reinhard Bonke crusade! |
Interesting project. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys beat the profit projections as the commitment and excellence applied from the beginning would certainly pay off. I'm proud of you guys. Jasper, you are such an inspiration. Despite the health challenge you had, you keep pushing. Abeg small small with the manual labour oh. |
haftob:I totally agree. Front page kills very valuable threads. Maybe they can frontpage it much later after like 2 months. |
Thats a clear message to Nigerians to not vote APC in the presidential elections. Buhari's football age is 72, I wonder what his real age would then be. |
FastShipping:You are just blind!! Thats why you cant see! If having problem seeing PDP bus is an excuse to violence, then you are plain pathetic. These same Buhari supporters would be up in arms again on February 14 when the results are announced. This time around they wouldn't be burning PDP buses but would be looking out for non muslims they can vent their demonic angst on. Sad thing Mr Fastshipping is that if you are found anywhere around these Buhari supporters on the 15th Feb after the results are announced, you wouldnt be spared as what Buhari represents to most of these violent supporters is not the change you seek but proliferation of their religion. To think I was almost getting carried away by the brilliance of Osibanjo. With this kind of violence, never!!! |
I like him. I wish he was the one contesting and not the fail always, certificate dodger, GMB. |
Nobody is going to disqualify Buhari. He is only going to be exposed for the fraud he is and wise Nigerians would naturally stay off his party. He probably failed woefully in his academics(thats if he attended school at all) hence the reluctance to release his results. He is no stranger to failure. He has always been failing. So he shouldn't be ashamed and just bring out his certificate. We promise not to laugh! |
So Jonathan's kids have schooled in Nigeria all along while kids of local government chairmen have their children schooling in Switzerland. |
Without bias, this has been the most agriculture friendly government in the history of Nigeria. The interest Nigerians have taken in Agriculture is unprecedented. I started an Agribusiness firm under this administration and as a direct result of Adesina's policies and we are running business worth millions of dollars in less than 2 years of operating. If you attended Agra Innovate held last month in Lagos, you would have met with a host of young Agribusiness entrepreneurs who are pushing the limits of Agriculture. Majority of them attest to the fact that GEJ/Adesina's policies remain one of the key motivating factors. The opportunities in Agriculture have been made more visible by this administration. The recently concluded YABDI you guys held in Ogbomosho is a testament. The fact that we have a very active agriculture board is a testament. This government might have failed in security, Anti corruption and a host other areas, but to say it has failed in Agriculture would be utterly dishonest. |
Tinubu is not a happy man. He would have become candidate if not for Amaechi and his crew. Tinubu is a very wise man who understands politics. What he has done by presenting Osibanjo(an literally unknown person with zero political clout), is to position himself for a sellout to GEJ in order to safeguard Lagos as well as prepare for 2019 where his chances would be much higher as there would be no incumbent to deal with. |
Lovely garden. Best in Nigeria. Very impressive. I just love beautiful public spaces like parks especially in urban areas. We need more of this. The quality is outstanding. |
LogicPower:You are right in the context you speak of. But those photos actually dwell on the private lives(average meal) of an individual family and not on public social amenities. Ask yourself why they presented pictures of a refugee camp for Africa and choose the poorest African country while presenting city life for China and India? If you have been in India you notice that Africans do live a much better quality of life than Indians |
Just sad the powerful effect this kind of propaganda reflects. I was in Italy recently(Florence & Bologna) specifically and I kept wondering to myself why on planet earth we are made to believe these folks are better than us. My life(economically) is better in Nigeria than probably 80% of Italians. Yes they have better infrastructure, security and access to public icicles amenities, but on a person one on one level in my house I live better than a large chunk of Europeans and I can bet 20% of Nigerians can proudly attest to that. Yes there are poor Nigerianss and very plenty but surely not as many as they want it to look. |
Did you notice Buhari used the trains Jonathan commisioned in the campaign videos. It's like promoting Jonaathan's transformation agenda. Whoever made this video doesn't like Buhari. |
