Do u think it is easy to use Julius begger the best construction company to build local roads. The roads in rivers state can last up 25yrs. Can you compare it to all these China roads in Lagos, tell me one tangible thing or road sanwolu have done, apart from taxing people and looting .go to port Harcourt and see things . Only the road leading from bonny Island to port Harcourt dwarf all this 6months roads that u people are celebrating . Don't settle for mediocrity

Everyone here knows I am an ardent Wike's supporter. However having listened to Wike today I truly regretted walking for over 20km to vote for Wike. He lacks tact. He is brash and undiplomatic. He is a loose canon. Wike made me to remember Kukah's quote below:

The day he disqualified Obaseki, that was the day APC lost the election. When Ize-Iyamu went to APC he knew he will/can defeat Obaseki EMPHATICALLY in a direct primary - he had the overwhelming support/backing of the leaders (whom Obaseki had been attacking, insulting, vilifying and marching on the ground). However, Oshiomhole over did it by disqualifying him. Even the APC leaders in Edo were very pissed, they wanted Obaseki to take part in the primaries. The plan was this:
1) Teach him a bitter lesson, demolish him and disgrace him - in fact, he was to come 3rd in that electiion after Ize-Iyamu with Odubu in 2nd place.
2) After losing APC primaries, he can no longer take part in the primaries of any other party, by virtue of the current amended electoral act - that would have been end of the road for him. But Oshio spoilt all their plan.
Well, the battle ahead is still very loooong! This is just round 1, the numerous litigations on ground are too much, in fact, I even think both APC and PDP are most likely to end up not getting the governorship eventually.
Even if Ize-Iyamu had won, this is what I still would have said:
It's too early to be jubilating and making stupid remarks. Nobody imagined Bayelsa state will end like that - a place where David Lyon won with a monumental landslide (more than 200, 000 votes!), which has never happened before. Only for Diri to end up with the governorship.

honestly, I am not impress with the pictures posted here,considering Delta state is an oil producing state. the state income from oil has shown little significance in terms of development in the state. Delta state has been looted dry by those for greedy politicians while citizens of the state seems to care less. Delta state should be on per with Lagos in terms of development but all thanks to the past and present leaders of the state we can't boost of such status. even akwa ibom is doing better than Delta. I weep for Delta state and Nigeria at large

How can indirect primary work in a factionalised state. It is a recipe for disaster, if faction loyal to obaseki inagurate delegates to vote in indirect primary, the faction loyal to osho can easily approach the court and it end like zamfara and Rivers.

Direct primary is the best for the two factions, they should all participate and the faction with huge grassroot followers will carry the day.
