whatever, stars, sun, planets falls into the category of the physical realm because we can see them
Christianity Etc › We Are In Heaven Already, please Enjoy Your Life Without Fear by paxonel(op): 3:51pm On Sep 25, 2014
There are two realms in existence.the physical realm and the spiritual realm
We are in the physical realm on earth,we can explain things on earth using our 5 senses
But we cannot explain spiritual(heavenly ) things using our 5 senses unless we read about them from the scriptures
it follows that for us to understand spiritual things we must first of all understand and explain physical things. John 3:12( and the only way we can do that is to be educated
Let us analyse this thing objectively (Starting from the physical angle )
Please i will like everybody to copy this post and go through the scriptures by reading the Bible again, confirming what I'm about to say
Revelation 22:13 Jesus says I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end..
Somewhere between the beginning and the end of time Christ came to died for the sins of mankind.(the period of time known as the days of John the Baptist )
Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent taketh it by force
to understand this scripture let me explain something
You know, Jesus started his journey from Galilee to Jerusalem, on his way he met the people who were suppose to be his disciples, anywhere he meet them he tells them FOLLOW ME (to Jerusalem )
Mark 1:17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me(Meaning FOLLOW ME), and I will make you to become fishers of men.
Mark 1:18 And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.
This is how he collected his disciples plus the miracles they saw, until a multitude of disciples followed him (to Jerusalem )
It takes a man who believe in him to follow him (the origin of our faith(Christianity ), because faith is believing, every religion have what they believe in, we christians believe in Jesus.
On their way going(because they were going through the harsh condition of the wilderness ), he knew most of them will get discouraged, they (disciples)asked him a question (because they at this time understand that they were going to the kingdom of God at Jerusalem ) will few(of these many disciples that is following you ) enter the kingdom of God?
He now told them in
Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate(gate of the kingdom ): for many(of his disciples ), I say unto you, will seek to enter in and shall not be able (they seek to enter the gate of the kingdom with violence and by force which they have already started because they were many disciples and already troden on him ).
so, the question is, what is the gate of the kingdom of God Jesus was he talking about?
He gave the answer using a parable in
Luke 13:25 When once the master of the house (Jesus christ himself) is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
This simply means that the resurrection of Jesus(at Jerusalem ) is the gate of the kingdom of God he was talking about
He even told that same disciples
Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some(of his disciples. note:not all disciples who called him lord lord saw the kingdom of God. matt 7:21 ) standing here, which shall not taste of death(shall not die ), till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.(son of man die and resurrected)
And truly, out of the over 5000 disciples who eat bread and fishes, who followed him and called him Lord Lord, few of them(only 120 of them out of the 5000.
Act 1:15) held their believe in Jesus, they held their believe and did not die (unlike Judas Iscariot who died ) until he died and ressurected, which is the establishment of the kingdom of God here on earth, the establishment of Christianity which is salvation or eternal life here on earth.
Therefore, everybody in Christianity are saved, no matter how bad you think they are. We are saved by grace.
Now, let me go back to explain the Matthew 11:12 i wanted to explain
Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
The violent there are people (the disciples ) who where striving to enter the gate of the kingdom (christianity ) by violence, by force. But only few of them entered christianiy.
Today, that few people (120 people ) has multiplied to what is known as Christianity world wide
So we are now saved, we don't struggle for it like the disciples who followed Jesus did.
HALLELUJAH!
so, if any pastor still tells you that we are still waiting to be saved, or we are still waiting for end time (because the kingdom of God which is not just christianity but now the whole earth, will never end as the glory of God has now covered the earth. Prophet Joel prophesied the day of pentecost in the book of act which has pass, as the end time,Act 2:16-17. i don't know what people are seeing as end time.) if any pastor is still using end time or rapture to make you fear, Just give that pastor a slap
Tell him i said so, for HEAVEN IS IN YOU, YOU ARE IN HEAVEN ALREADY .. Lol
be free, go about and enjoy your life and avoid sin as much as you can

Ukutsgp: faith and work goes together. u cant say u have faith and ur deeds does nt show it. our deeds must glorify God.

let men see ur good works and glorify your father who is in heaven.
matt 5:16.
eheh! you have commited another fallacy again, any Scripture you quote is fallacy ,all of them
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
did Matthew 5:16 mentioned any verdict for any Christian who do not shine his light there?
did it mentioned any christian there? (people in.. the religion called Christianity )
do you realised that when Jesus Christ made that statement he has never died for the sins of mankind, he was about to go to Jerusalem to die, therefore there was no christianity at that time, nobody was a Christian (no salvation then )
and that christianity started after the death and resurrection of christ (with 120 people on the day of pentecost) act 1:15
how then is he telling christians to shine their light, that if they don't shine their light they will go to hell fire?

Christianity Etc › Re: Once Saved Always Saved Is A False Doctrine. Beware! by paxonel(m):
atbu1983: Your concept of salvation is more of perversion of d truth that was promoted by some america envagelica preachers. This erroneous twisting of d gospel remove our attention from God. It promote greed and evil.

Even before christ died for our sin, people were still considered righteous in d old testament. They were considered righteous not because they never do wrong but because thier heart was focus on God and they strife for righteousness.

Now that christ have died for us, and we are born again, does it mean we are safe for ever even when we continously and deliberately do wrong (sin).? The answer is No!

Should we continue in sin so dat grace shall abide, d bible said God forbid. romans 6. From verse 15 shown below

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law
but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to
whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that
one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death,
or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be
thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed
from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were
delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became
slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because
of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented
your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness
leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members
as slaves of righteousness for holiness.
For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard
to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the
things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those
things is death. But now having been set free from sin,
and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to
holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of
sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus
our Lord.

Apostle Paul went further to say Christianity is a race that one can lose d prize if not done delligently to the end. 1corinthians 9. 23 to 27

23 I do it all
for the sake of the gospel, r that I may share with them in
its blessings.
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run,
but only one receives s the prize? So t run that you may
obtain it. 25 Every u athlete exercises self-control in all
things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we
v an imperishable. 26 So I do not run aimlessly; I w do not
box as one x beating the air. 27 But I discipline my body and
y keep it under control, 2 lest after preaching to others z I
myself should be a disqualified.

Now does it mean we are justified by work alone? not at all. do we sustain our salvation by grace alone? not at all! We have a role to play. Though christ has died for all mankind more than 2000 years ago, we are only saved d day we confess and believe in our heart d death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The grace of God is what made God to makes us a new being by mere confession. The grace of God applify our good deed before God and downplay our weaknesses and wrongdoing (sin) b4 God. That is why we need to discipline our body and put it under control as apostle said.

Thus we can be disqualified (lose our salvation) as stated by apostle paul in 1corinthians if we take d grace of God for granted. Because as humans we have weaknesses, we should strife for physical righteousness even as we are spiritually righteous by d Grace of God through christ Jesus. For faith without work is dead.

Though we are saved by Grace d day we are born again, we sustain our salvation by fighting a good fight of faith and subjecting our body to control with d grace of God helping us. Just as we consciously made a decision to be born again and d grace of God made it possible so also we should consciously pursue physical righteousness and d grace of God will help us achieve it b4 God. God sees d inclination of our heart. He knows when we make deliberate effort to do right. So because of his Grace he overlook even when we fall once in a while.
However when we deliberately live in sin because of we find sin pleasurable and sweet, because we feel d grace of God is always available, by dat we have already brought judgement on our self. As we can see in 1corinthians 5 shown below

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you,
and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has
his father's wife. 2 And you are proud! Shouldn't you rather have
been filled with grief and have put out of your fellowship the man
who did this? 3 Even though I am not physically present, I am with
you in spirit. And I have already passed judgment on the one who
did this, just as if I were present. 4 When you are assembled in the
name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, and the power
of our Lord Jesus is present, 5 hand this man over to Satan, so
that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the
day of the Lord. 6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a
little yeast works through the whole batch of dough? 7 Get rid of
the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast--as you
really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8
Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast
of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread
of sincerity and truth. 9 I have written you in my letter not to
associate with sexually immoral people-- 10 not at all meaning the
people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers,
or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11
But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone
who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an
idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man
do not even eat. 12 What business is it of mine to judge those
outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will
judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you."

You can see in 1corinthians 5 above paul is referring strictly to believers who find it very comfortable doing wrong without shame. If you medidate on verse 5 you will see that our spirit can become on safe by d action of our flesh. We should grief when we do wrong and not b proud of it as stated in verse 2
did. you follow the ,argument at all? it's not by writing. plenty things o,, make your argument logically

Why do you call him that?
because he does not believe in JESUS, he believes in his works. he does not have faith, it is either his faith or his works he should choose one
Romans 11:6 And if by grace (faith ), then it is no more of works...
since he has choosed works over faith then.he is not different from a Muslim or anybody outside christianity
he believes by mouth, but by action. (because he is more of works ) he has denied the faith
remember, action speaks louder than voice
that means, he is condemned already into hell fire John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already...

Ukutsgp: u cant be sinning and expect ur salvation to be intact. God is not a respecter of persons. those that die in their sins are in danger already. they listen to this kind of message and they became lax in their sinful state.

this was same kind of message satan preached to eve in d garden of eden. he told her that they could eat of the forbidden fruit and they will not die but be like God. they ate it and they die a spiritual death.

all sin likewise will lead to spiritual death.

Ukutsgp: 1John3:4 states that ‘all sin is
transgression’, in other words, sin in
God’s eyes is WILLFUL transgression of
His law and Commandments. That’s why
scripture can state emphatically that ‘he
who commits sin is of the devil’ 1Jh3:8.
NO ONE who continues to commit acts of
known, willful sin against God’s law is a
Christian nor can he remain a Christian.
However contrary this is to the teaching
of our day and age, it is absolute
scriptural truth and nothing anyone can
say from a pulpit or theological
seminary has any bearing against it. If a
born again person relapses into known
and willful sin he forfeits his faith, plain
and simple. Otherwise the wages of sin
is no longer death and God has become a
respecter of persons, which divides
scripture against itself. The myth that
your future sins are already forgiven
even ‘before’ you commit them, is just
that, a MYTH, invented by the preachers
to keep you comfortable and coming
back for more

labot: Dear Ukutsgp, do you honestly believe you're righteous? You think all your church going, tithe paying, prayer meetings, being good etc makes you righteous? All our righteousness are filth in God's eyes(Psalm 14:2-3, Rom 3:10-12). The only righteous thing we do is believing in Christ and even that is not our effort, it is the gift of God(Ephesians 2:8-10) i.e we can not believe in Christ by ourselves except God makes us believe(John 6:44-45). The good works we do after we accept Christ are all of God's work(Ephesians 2:10, Phillipians 2:13). When we accept Christ through the workings of the Holy Spirit, He instills into us different habits. These new habits, though they may and will develop by practice, are not produced by practice. The Spirit immediately forms the habits for us. Such is regeneration. We now have desires and thoughts we never had before. The Holy Spirit has regenerated us and changed our minds and when we sin, the Holy Spirit makes us realize our sins and we regret committing those sins. The Holy Spirit helps us abandon our sinful ways and we gradually become better people but we can never become completely sinless as long as we're in this flesh(1 John 5:16) not until the day of glorification. Yes Once Saved, Always Saved is biblical(John 5:24, 6:37-40, 6:44-47, 10:27-29, Phillipians 1:6, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, 1 Peter 1:3-5). Our salvation from beginning to end is all of God's work(Hebrews 12:2). God bless you.

Thanks. If we stick to the teaching of those facts which lead to our conclusion, we will do very well.
as a matter of fact i am a living witness. ever since i know that truth do you know that i find it very difficult to commit sin, my life is blessed, it's like i discovered a gold
i have no single fear what so ever, unlike those times i used to believe that if i commit sin i will be cast to Hellfire.
my life was so miserable, i was living in fear, struggling hard to be righteous anytime i ask God for forgiveness
i asked God.for forgiveness like 18 to 20 times a day, i became frustrated
one day i asked myself a question, if humans can give gift to people without expecting anything in return or any form of payment what is the gift there in the salvation God gave me,that he will demanding for forgiveness all the time?
doe's it mean that humans are righteous than God?
i then approached a pastor who elaborated the scritures for me
since that day, i decided to go back to school. as i was getting knowledge and understanding i soon discovered that the reason why i was commiting sin those times was lark of knowledge and understanding
now i find it difficult to commit sin (even though i am not perfect, i am still learning )

Christianity Etc › Re: God Is Not Looking At Your Sins To Judge You by paxonel(m): 7:52am On Sep 23, 2014
damilarelr: There was a time the Corinthian church was deep in sin! They committed ALL manner of sins: Envy, lust, strife, misuse of spiritual gifts, sexual immorality, etc. ALL manner of sins were present in the Corinthian church!

But how did Paul correct them?

KNOW YE NOT that your body IS the temple of the Holy Ghost?(1Cor 6:19)

Hmn, Paul did NOT say:

"You these sinners, your body was ONCE the temple of the Holy Ghost but ever since you committed fornication, it BECAME the temple of the devil"!

What Paul said was:

KNOW YE NOT....that your BODY IS (not 'was') the Temple of the Holy Ghost?

Now listen carefully: the reason why you are not yet EMPOWERED to live above that sin in your life is that you keep believing the LIE of the devil that tells you that you are DOOMED for eternal judgment because of your sins and God is out there to get you! Stop believing that LIE!

The devil will do ANYTHING to make you FORGET that you have been PERFECTLY forgiven by God! This is because the devil knows that you will STOP sinning when you REALISE that you are the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD in Christ Jesus!

Apostle Peter shared a strong revelation concerning a believer who lives in sin. He explained that when you see a believer who lives in sin, it is because he is "BLIND and cannot see afar off, and HAS FORGOTTEN that he was PURGED from his old sins"(2Peter 1:9) Wow!

But, unfortunately, instead of the church to remind such believers that they have been FORGIVEN and that they are the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF God in Christ Jesus, the church tells them that they have FALLEN from Grace, and that they should expect the Judgment of God!

Hmm...,a true teacher of the Gospel REMINDS believers of their IRREVERSIBLE position in Christ! That was why Paul corrected the Corinthian Church by saying:

"KNOW YE NOT...?"

Hmm.....what does 'KNOW YE NOT...' means? It simply means: "Have you forgotten..?"

Paul was a 'REMINDER', not a 'CONDEMNER'! In fact, Paul reminded them in the next verse that YE ARE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE!(1Cor 6:20). Paul did not say: "You WERE bought. but now God has SOLD you back"! The devil will do anything to make a believer not to rest in the finished work of Christ on the cross! (Heb 4:1)

In conclusion, let me show you how Paul related to the churches in the Bible. Although the Corinthian church was filled with believers who had weak moral characters, yet you will never hear Paul say to them.....O FOOLISH CORINTHIANS! Hmm, in fact, Paul told them that Jesus would CONFIRM them to the END, "BLAMELESS IN THE DAY OF JESUS CHRIST"! (1Cor 1:8-9).

But there was another kind of believers who Paul got seriously ANNOYED with! Funnily, these believers had STRONG moral characters! They were the Galatian Church!!! 'O FOOLISH GALATIAN....'! (Gal 3:1) These group of believers believe that "although you were saved by Grace you must continue in the works of the Law in order to qualify for God's promises"! (Gal 3:2) Aba!

You see, the reason why people find it hard to understand the Gospel of Grace is that it always sounds too ILLOGICAL! Okay, look at this: how can you say that a believer is judged as RIGHTEOUS before God even though he has sins in his life? Simple answer: 'How was Jesus judged as a SINNER by God on the cross even though He NEVER committed any sin'? (2Cor 5:21)

Now listen carefully: stop trying to understand how Grace will empower you over sin, just BELIEVE! Peter walked on water when he was looking at Jesus, but the moment he tried to 'logically reason' about how possible it is for a man to walk on water, that was when he began to sink!!! (Matt 14:30).

The reason you are SINKING in SIN is that you are THINKING on how possible it is for you to have dominion over sin simply by BELIEVING!

For sin shall NOT have dominion over you; for you are not under Law but under GRACE (Romans 6:14)

If you can get to a point of BELIEVING that Jesus is your righteousness before God and that God is not looking at you to judge you but He is looking at Jesus to judge you, that is when you will be EMPOWERED to effortlessly TRIUMPH over that sinful habit that is confronting your glorious destiny in Christ!

GRACE is the ANSWER to a SINFUL lifestyle! (Romans 8:2)

See you at the Gospel of Grace conference 2014 holding in Lagos this November!

Remain in His abounding GRACE!
Amen.
God bless you
i can see that we are gradually making progress to liberate our unborn generation generation (even though almost 70% of this generation of nigerian christians, mostly elderly people, are still blind, thinking they will go to hell fire if they sin)from the scorge of the fake unreasonable doctrine that was once delivered to Africa by the missionaries who brought christianity to Africa, who preached that once saved is not always saved meaning, if a Christian die commiting sin he will. go to Hellfire, thereby puttiing Africans in more boundage and religious slavery and poverty

you are right, thanks!
it's just that when you consider the overall effect of this kind of teaching, you will noticed that it is one of the major dogma that has given nigerians a very wrong mindset about the general life over the years
things are not better in this country, stead of educated people like him (because when you see his comments he talks like someone who has gone to school ) abandon religious sentiment and go back to his bible to consider what people have been opposing him for, he is arguing
honestly, when you tell anybody that salvation is grace, if they don't know before they will stop arguing and go and find out from the bible, even Muslims do this
But his own, i have never seen his type before,he is just the only person I'm seeing that is arguing, opposing that fact, wishing that people should die in hell fire in their sins, meanwhile he forget that he himself comit sin too

Ukutsgp: u are very ignorant. eternal is a promise which will be given to those who does the will of God to the end. those who endures to the end will be saved. ur ignorant stem from the fact that u don't read. ur doctrine is grossly illogical.
it's ignorant people that say things like this without quoting scriptures to support it

Ukutsgp: my friend d wages of sin is death. simple question u cannot answer. rather u keep on blabbing. those who confessed their sins and forsake them will find mercy but those who those who commit any of those sins outlined in galatians 5:19-21, and failed to confess and forsake them will be castaway. it even say they shall not inherent the kingdom of heaven. d question u should ask yourself is, cant a christian turn or backslide and begins to steal, commit adultery and go contary to the word of GOD?
ahahahaahaah! na you won cast them away? oya cast them away now make we see
in this heaven that we are living there are bad and good people in lt
oya go cast the bad people way now, you will tell God whether na you create them
ahahaahah ahaha

Ukutsgp: Numerous passages are cited which say
we have eternal life: John 10:28; 17:3;
5:24; 3:36; 6:47; 3:16; I John 5:12,13.
Some argue that, if we have it, and if it is
eternal, then we cannot lose it. If we do,
it wasn't eternal.
We have eternal life now only as a promise
or hope.
1 John 2:25 - This is the promise He has
promised us, even life eternal.
James 1:12 - The crown of life which the
Lord promised to those who love Him.
Titus 1:2; 3:7 - The hope of eternal life,
which God promised .
We receive eternal life, in the sense of a
present possession, only after earthly life is
over and then only if we endure faithfully
till life is over.
Luke 18:30 - We receive eternal life "in
the world to come."
Romans 2:5-7 - Eternal life will be given
at the judgment IF we continue patiently
in well doing. [This is the same time that
the wicked will receive eternal
punishment - Matt. 25:46. Does this
happen in this life?]
Revelation 2:10 - Be faithful until death
and receive the crown of life.
In this life, we "have" eternal life in the
sense of a promise or a hope based on
faith. But we actually enter eternal life
at the judgment if and only if we
continue living faithfully till life is over.
This is a conditional promise. We will be
lost if we fail to meet the conditions.
my friend eternal life is already in you, you don't know your right.
there are things today christians (especially Nigeria christians have failed to understand about eternal life which is the resurrection of the dead
Do you know that you will never die? and that thing we called death is not death but a sleep, infact it is a twinkling of the eye (eye closed and open again )
please death has been defeated by Christ on the cross
1 Corinthians 15:55 ,O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
African christians don't believe in the resurrection of the death, they are like the saducees, they don't know how it works
they don't! even know that the kingdom of God is already on earth by virtue of his death and resurrection of Jesus , they don't know that we christians are the kingdom of God on earth (Jesus in his prayer before we was crucified , let thy kingdom come, which eventually came after he was crucified, started with 120 people at the day of Pentecost, grow to become what is known as christianity today world wide )
they didn't know that one o
we are just going to church for nothing, nobody is teaching us
white men who brought christianity to Africa are very wise, they practice the same christianity in their country, their lives are better
but we africans are just mumu, we are still waiting for rapture (which is not even in the bible ) because of that we abandoned our responsibility to replenish this earth (a responsibility which God has not changed his mind about which God gave when he created mankind,) and be waiting for rapture
we don't want to go to school
we don't want to think
we don't want to work
meanwhile some people out there are inventing technology and we are larking behind in Africa

Ukutsgp: @paxonel.

Romans 6:1. shall we continue in sin because of grace? d answer is no.
what if we continue?

Romans 6:12-13. shall we allow sin to reign in our mortal bodies? the answer is no.
what if we allow sin?

should we yield our bodies as instrument of sin?
the answer is no.
what if we yield our bodies?

Galatians 5:19-21. shall people who commit those thing enter heaven?
the answer is no
what if a christian commit any of them?
you have not answered my question, i asked you to show me a place in the bible that says if a sinner commit sin he will go to hell fire
all these places you quoted are just advices. they are advising we christians not to commit sin, they didn't say if we comit sin we will go to hell fire
shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound? (abound there means plenty, check your English dictionary )
so that place is saying, shall we continue in sin so that people will say we have plenty grace? (abundant grace ). God forbid
so it is not saying if we commit sin we will go to hell fire
Galatians 5:19-22 didn't ask any such question like what if christians commit those sins it mentioned will they go heaven? please don't change it
as a matter of fact Galatians 5:24 even says And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
so we have been crucified with Christ, sin or hell fire has no dominion again.over us , not because we are even righteous people, but simply because we believe, making us to have the righteousness of God through Christ
then 5:25 advice us that If we live in the Spirit (because we are already in the spirit, the spirit was given to us freely), let us also walk in the Spirit.(meaning let us avoid sin )
the only place in bible that has been confusing most christians to say if we commit sin we will go to hell fire is
1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
now the question is are christians drunkards? the answer is No
are christians extortioners? NO
because 6:11 says And such were some of yousadthe people who believed among the people Paul was addressing, because some believed and some did not ) but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
so we have been cleansed, we are not drunkards by Gods perception therefore we are saved from hell fire ( Because it is God that will judge, not humans.read revelation and know the criteria of Gods judgement, our names are written in that book simply because we believe, not by our works ) but by human perception we drink, we comit sin and we will suffer the consequence of our drinking and sin accordingly here on earth, our salvation will not save us,
faith without works is dead. therefore we should repent from drinking

Ukutsgp: if a christian commit adultery, fornication for instance that christian will be unclean. for dat person to be made clean again, he has to confess his sins and forsake them. then he will be washed with d blood of Jesus. that is what d bible teaches.

besides, grace should not be used as a cloak to sin. we must forsake sin or we perish. cos sin brings death.
this is wrong, this is what they have been using to control us, show me where in the bible that it is this that you have just explained. quote the place out and explain it again let's see if it correspond to what you have just explained
Christianity Etc › Re: Once Saved Always Saved Is A False Doctrine. Beware! by paxonel(m): 2:32am On Sep 21, 2014
Ukutsgp: Once saved, always saved" is a tempting
doctrine because it is comforting.
It tells people what they would like to
hear. We would all like to think that,
even if we or our loved ones fall into sin,
they will still receive eternal life.
But it is a false doctrine because it
clearly contradicts Scriptures in nearly
every book of the Bible.
It is also a dangerous doctrine because it
leads people to think they are safe even
if they don't examine their lives, don't
study the Bible, and don't repent of sin.
Furthermore, it leads preachers to not
warn sinners that they need to repent.
I have personally known people who told
me of terrible sins they deliberately and
knowingly committed, justifying
themselves because they believed it
would not affect their salvation. I have
known teachers who justified those very
people saying that they would not have
lost their salvation even when committed
those sins.
Suppose a child is about to cross a busy
street. Shouldn't the parent warn the
child to look carefully for traffic before
they cross the street? People who
advocate "once saved, always saved" are
like a parent who not only does not warn
the child, but worse yet tells him there is
nothing to worry about because he can't
get hit, and if he does get hit, he won't
die!
Why should the child be warned?
Because there is a very real danger. And
the situation is most dangerous if the
child is not on guard. The worst thing
anyone can do to the child is to tell him
there is no danger. Yet that is exactly
what preachers do when they teach
"once saved, always saved." And this has
eternal consequences, because souls are
at stake.
Nevertheless, if the child is careful, he
can cross the street safely despite the
danger. So the best favor anyone can do
for the child is to warn him of the
danger, so he can avoid it. That is
exactly what we do when we preach the
Bible passages that warn Christians to
avoid sin. It is not that we believe
Christians have no security, but we know
people are only secure when they are
aware of the dangers, so they can be on
guard.
Yes,i. back now.
sorry i was away doing other things
ahaaaah aaha, you are funny o
i now understand your fears
OK, i think this is the clear reason why christians in Africa are not growing because they want to remain children where they will continue to be controlled and God is not happy with that
your fear is that if you tell them that they are saved once they will be happy (by the way who gave you power to deprive people of their happiness, are you kill Joy or satan or something? ),
because they are happy they will be tempted to commit sin (so you want to be the one to control them by your once saved is not always saved doctrine, neglecting what the Bible says in Romans 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.)
if people are tempted and they fall to commit sin it's simply because they lark understanding(an evidence that they have not been thought well, because nigerian pastors are not doing their job) because temptation must surely come, but like adults (not like children who lark understanding ) you were suppose to overcome through your conscience (not by being controlled like a child )
you are controlling them to cross road like children you are not teaching them the right doctrine from the bible, how will they know? how will they grow? (therefore Nigerian christians are mostly controlled by their pastors without the knowlege of the word of God inside them, they are not growing because of what they have been hearing over the years )
they will abandon their conscience and follow your leading, the very day they will not see you to control them again (because you pastors cannot follow your church members everywhere they go to control them ) they will resolved to commit the worst sin you didn't teach them how to avoid and why they should avoid such sin
you see, this is a clear reason why Nigeria remain a corrupt nation, there is poverty everywhere inspite all the churches and mosques everywhere, because nobody is teaching them the truth
everybody want to be pastors so that they can control.
this is why you have this fear, you are not sure of what people are capable of, so you dont want them to be free and happy by knowing the truth from the bible, want to control them by your once saved is not always saved doctrine like animals,
it has always been like that since African tradition. policians will want to control the citizen will not have any say, pastors will control, even when it is bad church members cannot talk
men who are the head of the family will be doing rubbish the wife and children will not have any say
African tradition, na God go resque us
It is no so developed countries, find out. thats why there is development in those countries
