nairagrounds: Wow! Did you requested any info from him? I mean for him to reveal such thing to you. I'd like to find out something similar from my school, too. What was your approach, please? I didn't request for any info. She just asked if there is any positive response from IRCC, I said NO then she told me they were contacted last week. I've been receiving my studies remotely since January |

Peacekid: The screenshot I attached was what I got after receiving my application status in form of GCMS note via an MP
They mentioned that they won't give update under 60days of last update. I don't know if there will be any implications
I come in peace. Especially if one orders another GCMS note within the 60days period |

EmeeNaka: I don't understand what you mean by stories that touches. How is "stories that touches" connected to Status Update from MP? When did this rule begin? MP assisted me to get update on June 13, then helped me again to obtain update on August 3. After that, I personally Requested for update from IRCC on Aug 8,and they sent it on Aug 9. Hi guys
I just want to make something known to some of us
Please, if you received an update on your application status through the MP of the province where your school is, remember that IRCC will not provide any update again under 60 days of the last update.
Let's be mindful to avoid stories that touch

EmeeNaka: Getting scholarship doesn't remove the need for proof of Funds and proof of asset and establishment. He must post his bank statement showing that he is well established in his country. Because the Visa is a TRV, he is expected to return to his country after the study, so you must show them what will bring you back to your country. Bank statement and other asset are important way to show that you have been doing well in your country and not afraid of returning to your Country. So, let him/her package his bank statement and send to IRCC. Without Personal Bank Statement showing enough funds, because here you didn't say he has a Sponsor, he may be denied for lack of Personal assets and not being well established in his own country, regardless of the scholarship. Thanks much! I will communicate with him ASAP |

Afternoon to y'all
Can someone be refused on basis of not showing funds for flight and settling down expenses to Canada?
The person was granted a fully funded scholarship of about 50k CAD. Tuition fee of 9k CAD annually for two years.
Asking for a friend. |

Hi Guys!
I was able to contact the MP of the province where my school is, and I was sent a consent form to fill and sign along with copies of any supporting documentation that will assist the case worker in her conversation with Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Please what kind of documents do you think will be appropriate to send for expedition of study permit application?
Thanks as I await answers

ray007bu: That’s how it is o. You need to submit again so IRCC can receive the additional documents you uploaded. It doesn’t mean you are submitting your application twice. No need to panic, just click on Next and submit again. I also resubmitted additional document (Letter of Explanation) through this process. Thanks everyone You guys are the best It has changed from "action required" to "submitted" Till we all win! |

OCT202020: Your action is truly required o, normally the thing suppose change after 30days but we've seen many cases like this and what you need to do is come up with a reason why the NSE was ignored, upload it in the appropriate section and submit it. Thanks for your input @OCT202020 After uploading it in the two sections that were tagged "request overdue", I tried submitting, it took me to the application fee page asking for processing fee. Omoh, I immediately went back oo, let it not be that I submitted my application twice. I did send the letter explaining why I ignored NSE request via webform and Email though. |

Timexxy: To be honest I don't think it matters but better still compose a word doc informing then to go ahead with the normal route and go upload under the space made for the IELTS AND MBS as required. Click 'View submitted documents....' to see that. Then after that, submit and your current status will change to 'submitted' immediately
Thanks plenty!
I will do that ASAP |

Hi All,
Please, is it normal if someone's profile reads "your action is required" even after ignoring NSE request that was sent in March?
Should I be worried? Can PPR enter with such a profile?
