MarvellousGod:
He's not only being immature, he's being very very silly. .. rejecting your wife's food cos of a petty issue? What will now happen if the food isn't cooked well? Pour it on her? I suspect he has another place he goes to eat and just uses this as an excuse. ..

My dear, this is marriage. Some things are supposed to be overlooked. . Do you think the marriage will survive if the woman picks on small stuffs the husband does? How do they handle bigger issues if they see this as a problem? The woman has cooked the food (definitely alone), she has served also, to dish out is the only problem. Maybe she should also feed the man after dishing out.. so laughable, grin grin... The man does it even when the woman is busy with other things. . As I said hunger never catch am or he doesn't enjoy the wife's food hence giving unreasonable excuses. ...

In HIS own house abi? Where's the woman's house? Maybe the corridor? grin grin grin .. this is what spoils marriage, selfishness, instead of doing things as "ours", you do as 'mine'

I may advice the woman to start doing as the husband wishes to avoid irreparable problems but that doesn't make the man's whining reasonable. ....
immature or whatever you call it, that's not your business.
He didn't just start it. She knew that about him before marrying him, so there is no need to complain now.

The fact she even brought it up makes her immature, This is her husband and not anybody else. This is her friend, her sweetheart, her lover, if she doesn't serve him always, who else will she serve?

There are men that are trained in a particular way, the woman has known this about him, why is she complaining? She even came to the social media to talk about. what does she want to hear?

Did she tell us the ones she does? her own excesses? her own tantrums? her own nagging?
The fact is that this issue is too infinitesimal. Its not even an issue.

I DONT KNOW WHY THE IGBOS WANT TO KILL THEMSELVES OVER BUHARI'S APPOINTMENT. THIS MAN PROMISED CHANGE AND IF IGNORING FEDERAL CHARACTER IN THE APPOINTMENTS DOESN'T EQUATE TO CHANGE FROM OLD WAY OF DOING THINGS THEN WHAT IS CHANGEhuh Y'ALL SHOULD KEEP CRYING AND WEEPING. WE THE YORUBAS INVESTED SO MUCH IN HIS PRESIDENCY BUT WE ARE NOT SCREAMING MARGINALIZATION. IF HE LIKES, LET HIM APPOINT CAMEROONIANS IN ALL POSITION WHAT MATTERS IS THE FULFILMENT OF CAMPAIGN PROMISES AND AN ENABLING ENVIROMENT FOR EVERYONE TO THRIVE. YOU IGBOS VOTED FOR GEJ IN MASS AND YOU ALL SHOULD EXPECT NOTHING IN RETURN. Y'ALL ARE A CONFUSED BUNCH. TODAY U WANT Biafra, THE NEXT DAY U SCREAM MARGINALIZATION FROM THE SAID ZOO AS PROCLAIMED BY YOUR SUICIDE MISSION LEADER NNAMDI KANU. BUHARI CAN CHOOSE 100% NORTHERNERS. NOBODY CARES undecided
Do you speak without thinking?
what brought ibos into this matter?

Is the Afenifere chieftain that spoke of marginalization and being tricked an Igbo man? Go and check the people crying now, they are not mainly ibos.

Its only an illiterate that will suggest a people shouldn't expect anything from a government simply because they didn't vote for the government.

In the USA, there are states considered as 'red' (Republicans) states, they always vote Republicans and didn't vote for Obama. Obama cannot neglect or marginalise the states.

Go and face your problem and leave Igbos alone!

Politics › Re: Nigerians Kick As APC Disowns Buhari’s Campaign Promises - PUNCH by peedeeasobie(m):
I'm very worried for my nation, Nigeria.
I'm not worried about the structure or even the politicians but the masses and the followers.

We are in a new regime and instead of holding this government accountable, we are busy supporting their ineptitude. This is not about tribe, PDP or GEJ. The PDP regime is over- whether they did well or not is left for posterity but if we continue with this trend, we will still have another failed nation come the next four years.

You can't keep blaming GEJ or PDP for your under performance. You raised the hopes of Nigerians, please stop complaining when their expectations become high and they become impatient. You caused it.

'he that brings ant infested woods to his house should not complain when lizards come visiting'.

Our populace have taken tribal stances, we are no longer demanding good governance from the people we elected rather we attack those who criticise them. No matter how much we fight each other, these politicians are not enemies and they are not fighting themselves. They are representing their interests.

Some are shouting that we should give this government time, yes we will but that doesn't stop us from criticising from time to time, reviewing, holding political discussions and keeping them on their toes.

Many say that PDP ruined this nation but I beg to differ. This nation was ruined by years of inglorious military regimes. PDP only didn't maximise the opportunity to write their names in the sand of time.
The baton is now in the hands of APC, what will they do?

We can't have another Four wasted years. We must start early. How can we be comfortable with a government that did virtually nothing in its 100 days in office? Take a look at Kaduna state and Rivers state. You can see tangible things they did within these 100 days.

We must not be talking about virtual achievements. what do we mean by 'body language'? Nigerians are getting tired of propaganda. Propaganda may get you into office the first time, it may keep you for a while but sooner or later, you will have to face the truth.

I want to state at this point that, Buhari is not APC, he is just the image of APC for now. His achievements will make or mar APC in future. He must be a man of his word. He cannot keep playing to the gallery. The more APC keeps lying and denying on his behalf, the more his worth reduces before the people.

Four years is not a long time, APC is still a new party, people are still trying to trust it and any mistake on their part can lead to their quick demise.

You made promises, at least even if you fulfil half within your first tenure, that's a pass mark.

This PDP has a lot to do to survive in their new role of opposition. Credible opposition entails getting a verifiable facts and figures about your opponent weaknesses over time so that you can use it against him. That was what the APC mastered to oust the PDP from the centre. Propaganda can only sell when or where it is built on standing facts and figures be it a lie or the truth. When you begin to throw up criticism at every turn of time including those problems you created for the sake of relevance then you offers yourself as a cheap and deflated opponent struggling for survival.
What are you talking about?

APC lied, twisted, threatened, manipulated their way into office and you call that credible? Is there a new meaning to that word pls?

So many people shouting and talking anyhow here. It seems nigerians have a very short memory. Amaechi was never power drunk. Rather the man is the bravest politician in the history of Nigeria.
He was a lone voice in the wilderness. The only Governor that was able to challenge the federal govt and the pdp machinery of impunity.
The shutting down of the judicial system was unavoidable because those greedy pdp politicians were hell bent on punishing him. Theres nothing they didnt use, police, army, federal budget..u name it!

Today all of the morons above have had their brain completely wiped clean and go ahead to comment blindly!
punishing him how? if he was innocent what was he afraid of?

where did he get the billions he spent on buhari's campaign?
why was he owing all the workers in his state for several months?

why did he abandon all the projects in his state?

Don't mind me jare ,told you all that so as to defend myself and to appeal for your apology. Now to today's business, kindly follow me.

Culled:

There are a few things you need to know before starting to import from china.

IMPORTING FROM CHINA TO NIGERIA

1. Don’t think of buying government controlled commodities like silver, gold, diamonds, etc. unless you’re licensed to do so.

Don’t be too wise in yourself, ask questions, and involve yourself in endless research before you finally conclude on the type of product to import.

2. Always refer to the import prohibition list on the Nigeria custom authority’s website. Always check that your product is not in the import prohibition list, you wouldn’t want to lose your money to the customs or worse be accused of illegal trading.

3. Make sure it’s small and light weighted

I can’t imagine some people thinking of importing school furniture, bed frames, sofa chairs etc.
How about shipping?

Always think of products that are lightweight, generally easy to ship so as not to lose all your would-be profits on shipping.

This can only be done in cases when you’re pre-ordering for a client, and your client knowing well that they are in place to borne all the cost involved. I’ve bought a washing machine for one of my client in the past, I pointed him to attractive local deals, but he insisted on getting the washing machine from the US.

It’s not that you can’t import any product so far it’s dutiable, but you should do your homework on what the LANDING COST of the product to your final consumers will be like.

Profits can only be made with such products a very large quantity is involved; maybe container loads, which will be very capital intensive; and a very large capital will be invested to make tangible profit.

4. Think of products that will give you more goods per dollar invested.
Another rule that applies in the wholesale world is, ‘the larger the quantity ordered, the lower the price per item/good’ and the ‘larger the quantity shipped the cheaper the price per kilo/kg’

The price per commodity of your goods should be between 0 to $100; in my own experience, anything costlier than this appears to be more capital intensive and makes you open to more risk.

Costlier products will require higher quality monitoring, high shipping rate and can make you vulnerable to mistakes. I advise you stay in this price range, as I am yet to find serious profit outside of that price range, but of course, it’s your call!

5. Make sure the product’s quality and durability can easily be determined.
(to be continued ,just stay glued to this thread)

But before I rush down to the office for the Importation Training Class ,I think POINT NO.4 above should remind you of that group PLAN B DYNAMIC IMPORTERS GROUP. That is what the group is meant for,why not join us now before the GROOM arrives when the door would have been closed like it happened in the parable of the 10 virgins (5 were wise and 5 were foolish).

Remember: In the world of Importation, you don’t need a college education,You need a proper education.Knowledge is the vaccine for herd mentality and allows Plan B members to act and flourish in the business when others are paralyzed.

PS: Is your Plan'B' in place yet? If not,we will teach you how to have one because our concern is all about PEACEFUL WEALTH.

Mention the tribe in GEJ's appointment pls.
Go ahead. Gej was very fair in his appointments.

What do you mean by performance? Was it not years of incompetent military regime by the same north that crippled this nation?

The north benefitted from the quota system immensely, that unqualified and incompetent students went to university and secondary school while their intelligent counterparts were denied the same opportunity.

Now the same north is touting 'competence' and 'performance'.
Is competence a citizen of a particular region? The same incompetent people that ruined this nation are now the competent people to better the nation.

If he only trusts northerners then something is fundamentally wrong with him. Why didn't he trust only the north to give him the votes? Why didn't he form a regional party and campaign there? What headway did he make when he was in CPC ?

If he is only comfortable with northerners then the opinion that he's tribalistic holds true!

This is a federal system and no matter your party/regional affiliation, you can't be seen to be tribalistic as a leader.

Articulate , ambitious and self confident .

I have come to understand that in Nigeria, those are considered bad qualities.
I will agree with you that he can be over ambitious at times .
But What exactly would you call Obama or David Cameron ?
They said the same thing when a certain man was warning of the impending fiscal crisis in 1983 .
The gbajamila guy happens to be one out of about six people who has any business in the House of Representatives. Most of the rest have no business and are unfit to represent a herd of cattle . The other being , Abike Dabiri , the northern guy who grilled iweala and one guy from the SE who seems to be on top of the issues .
Apart from that , you could as well scrap the entire National Assembly and not feel it . Better still , change it to a house of Chiefs with the Kings representing the constituencies.
Cutting through the drama , only the discerning can cut through the conspiracy.
Buhari is an elderly man ... You know what I mean .
They are already burying the man even though he is still very much with us.
It is nothing about leadership or service but all about the primitive accumulation of power and money if the inevitable thing that happens to everyman should happen during his tenure.
A primordial power struggle is being waged and some people are limiting it to a inconsequential statement from a former speaker.
i guess perpetually voting for clowns means that some regions will continue to be the insignificant enablers of what has led Nigeria to its current situation.
North west conservative are already moving in their chess pieces to take over should Buhari die . The idiotic and corrupt politicians and their supporters from the south are singing hallelujah.
Later , they will be complaining about marginalisation and how all oil blocks are owned by the North .
On the other hand , am happy. Tinubu would be a golden asset to have in the liberation movement .when his eyes opens that he is trying building a house on quick sand.......Nigeria is beyond redemption.
'proud, arrogant and too forward' is completely different from 'articulate, ambitious and self- confident'.

You are simply reading your mind into his opinion.
