I'm very certain that you didn't read the full story. You must have seen the heading and you started quoting someone wrongly or you are someone that supports evil.

Go back and slowly read the full story, you will find out that it couldn't have been error.

Then apologise appropriately!

The rate at which some of you support evil is chagrin!
How are you able to look at yourself in the mirror after this type of sycophantic statement?

A man that has crippled the state, is one of the best governors in Nigeria? Then Nigeria must be headed for the gutters if that is true!

How do you blame the commissioner of finance for the discrepancies and not the governor? A discrepancy that has been going on since last year?

Being an APC supporter doesn't mean you should also support evil.

It's this type of comment that makes these governors to be inhuman, ineffective and stupid.

There is a fundamental problem with thinking that man is so special that a chain reaction/any chain reaction could have lead to his creation. If this reaction is proceeding at a crawling at an almost imperceptible rate, then you certainly wouldn't see it in your lifetime. That doesn't mean it is not happening. Scientists who are looking at a bigger picture over chains and chains of fossils can see this. Check the data.

Whatever made man doesn't have to be intelligent. Don't get it wrong. The fastest computers today (hypercomputers, supercomputers) can do calculations humans will never ever dream of computing. These calculations they'll do in microseconds; yet in a lifetime humans can never do such calculations. How about that? Didn't humans create these computers? How come they are smarter (at least in that regard) than their creators? Don't be so carried away.

That then is where the problem lies. Maybe in Nigeria, your parents hold "a certain form of control over" you. You can't say that for others.
You see the issue here! "If", what reaction is that? what or who set of the reaction? A reaction that produces mankind, another reaction that produces animals, another reaction that produces trees, another reaction that produces the planetary systems! wow, what a reaction! Even the most intelligent scientist knows that this theory sounds stupid!

computer more intelligent than man? seriously? man made computers! The basic process in computer is garbage in, garbage out. Whatever the calculations and processing, the computer only gives what it has been programmed to do. It was made, not a product of some reactions!

That other nations don't have honour towards their parents doesn't make it right! Its a corruption caused by their so-called freedom because they once had that honour.

Not very good analysis here.
It doesn't look to me like "something must be God". Must "something" be God? Must there be a God? Could it as well not end with nature? Nature having come about by slow steps over billions of years. Anything could have started that chain reaction that led to man, and that thing mustn't be God; it could as well be something we will know much later, but are just yet to know.

And even if nature is indeed God, as you claim. Must one believe in this "God"? Why should he have to excuse "living anyhow", as you put it? How is one's life or living bound to this "God"? At the end of the day, it looks to me you are eventually trying to extend that line from believing to worshiping. And that's where all you Nigerians get it wrong.
Anything could have started a chain reaction that led to man? good analysis indeed. so the thing started a chain reaction and the reaction stopped? and man started producing man? the same reaction started animals and trees and stopped?

whatever made/started such an intelligent being called man must in himself/itself be intelligent. it cannot just be a reaction! Look at the universe, the world, etc, this is not just some accidental sett off that started a reaction!

this is a masterful and well planned creation by an intelligent being.

if something/someone made you, your life directly or indirectly is bound to the person. Look at our earthly parents, they hold a certain form of control over us- which can be viewed as a type of honour/worship.

The talk and emphasis on Nigerians and their being religious is stale. Americans have religions/religious people. Other developed nations do also.

Emilokoiyawon:
The simplest answer is that there is no God and we are left to the whims and caprices of nature. But most humans are too terrified of this option, so the resort to putting God in an equation that does not require any such entity. The complicate life by invoking some invisible, loving and all powerful creator (mind you they don't tell you where exactly he came from) who still allows terrible things like this to happen. The day most Nigerians realize there is no God will be the day we start facing our problems head on without any resort to some fairy tale nonsense - we will be a better society.
It takes absolute stupidity to support the atheistic view!

whims and caprices of nature huh? This is the type of shallow answer you want us to give in exchange for a "god"?

Nature made man, nature made the waters, the planetary systems, nature made the animals, nature made the sun, made trees etc, who/what made nature?

If "something" made nature, that "something" must be God! If nothing made nature, then nature is God!

Moreover you are the one too scared to accept the belief in a "god"! You want an excuse to live anyhow and hope it all ends in the dust!

That you don't understand something doesn't mean its not real!

I don't know if I should give you a Christian advice or a secular advice because you have already broken your marital vows to your wife!

1: what on earth do you think marriage is? What did the vows mean to you? Did you vow to stay with her only if she gives you a child?

2: you sound chauvinistic in your word "a son to call my own". What happened to a daughter? You also sound very weak- your family members want to throw your wife away, your friends want you to send her away. Is she a community wife?

3: if you are truly a Christian, what happened to your faith in God? I know couples who have given birth after 20 years of marriage!

4: have you paused to imagine that this is not just about you? Do you think that your wife is not crying day and night, praying and asking God for a miracle? Have you considered what she must be going through? The emotional and mental trauma she must be undergoing?

5: your secretary is a jezebel! She knew you were married, opened her legs for you, got pregnant and is asking you to put away someone that has suffered with/for you for 14 years! The fact that you impregnated a jezebel says a lot about you!

6: what is the hullabaloo about not giving birth? What happened to adoption? There are thousands of adorable children looking for parents to adopt them!

7: tell your wife about your amorous affair and pray she doesn't poison you!

You are an excuse of a man!

Family › Letter From The Grave! by peedeeasobie(op): 12:08pm On Jul 27, 2015
The regret is not from the pains of the grave but from the foolishness of my decisions and desperation while on earth....

its hot in here and very dark with little space, its quite difficult under these conditions but since I have the chance, let me write to advice someone who maybe willing to listen.

When I turned 30, I became very desperate and eager for marriage.
I wanted to marry by "fire and force". All the ladies who were my mates had all married. My parents didn't help matters, mummy took me to several "prayer houses", juju houses, and prophets and prophetesses!

My "breakthrough" came when a young handsome man said he wanted to marry me, I quickly accepted. My mum had already warned me that I shouldn't miss this one. I noticed he had certain primitive ideas and mentality but I waved it aside, I was going to enlighten him after marriage!

8 months after our wedding, I was due to give birth, I was in labor!
Everyone, including mumsy had being ecstatic at my pregnancy, she was going to carry her "overdue" grandchild.

My husband had told me he wanted a boy and any other gender would make the house uncomfortable for the both of us! I didn't doubt him at all because I had witnessed his superiority affirmation severally from the several blows and beatings I received in the course of the short marriage.

I called my husband that I was in labor and thankfully, he showed almost immediately and drove me to my death, oh sorry, to a traditional birthing place!

Traditional birthing place! what do they know about complications during labor? Nothing!

'why did you bring me to a place like this? Take me to a hospital please!' I pleaded with my husband.

'woman, will you shut up your mouth. this is where our mothers were born'. he shouted, while paying the dirty-looking woman.

I couldn't give birth, the child simply wouldn't come out! I pushed and pushed but the child remained adamant.
The woman, robbed ororo on my stomach, gave me a smelly liquid to drink and asked me to push again.

This is the second day in labor, no change, I'm gradually getting tired and exhausted. In fact, I dreamt that I died! I woke up and pleaded and cried and begged my husband to take me to a hospital but he refused and the child also refused to come out- like father like child!

By the third day, I was too tired to beg, too tired to scream, too tired to live, I was exhausted! I started seeing pictures of a "better place". My mother-in-law was beside, and I whispered into her heard with all the strength in me, "I'm dying, please take me to the hospital".
she smiled and said "you will not die, my daughter".

I started having flashbacks, how desperation led me to this loveless and wicked marriage. How I married a handsome, rich, educated but wicked illiterate. How that my mother who was the chief architect is not even here on my deathbed!
The friends who I daily compared my marital status to are not here with me! The prophets who prophesied me into this trap called marriage are not here!

I'm alone! I'm alone.
I decided to rest and close my eyes a little.
When I opened it, I saw people crying over my body, I'm dead and my baby died too.
My husband is "crying uncontrollably". My mother-in-law is saying that I died because I wasn't strong!

I'm in the grave now, all my dreams of touching the world, raising godly children, having a happy home gone! The pain of the marriage and child bearing also gone but the regret lingers!

If I had known!
I wouldn't have married out of desperation!
Marriage is not an achievement. Your mates are not better off because they are married!
Live your life, fulfil your purpose, whether married or unmarried!

Investigate properly before marriage and if the marriage threatens your life, PLEASE leave the marriage!

Better single than dead! Singleness is not a problem, its not a curse!

Its an informed choice!
