Oh! You admit there was rigging for Tinubu?

That’s all I’ve waited to hear from you in a long time.

See, bros, Tinubu did not win 2023 elections.

Even Kano, Plateau, Benue, Kaduna, etc, numbers were padded for him.

Firstly, Haruna Ibrahim, the ex-chairman is not challenging the outcome of the primary BUT the ineligibility of the candidate 'for the election' . They are two different things.

Oshiomole can as well go back to challenge the eligibility of Obaseki to contest 2020 elections in Edo State, right?

I laughed in 3D at OP! See him being restless. Is it today we just started reading your analysis? Shallow analysis and prediction of ANAP and Bantupage that many obidients like you did during campaign, what came out of it than handling over 3rd position to Obi? No one knows you can analyze like this because it is not Tinubu matter. Only Tinubu your analysis will tell not to observe swearing in until court judgement ends, but now; you turn to emergency political and judicial expert just because all Elupee will be affected. Didn't we tell you about stop-labouring in vain?

You better let me give you transport fare to go and tell Obi to prepare. Tell him not to pay remaining balance for all his lawyers so he can save some amount of money. You keep chasing Tinubu that doesn't utter a word to abuse you because of hatred until you enter into pit. Stop wasting your time, ELUPEE formular will work in this case, it is operation remove all LP from top to bottom. It is not me that said so, it is the court
Lol!

You would have told your lords and saviours to allow a free and fair election let’s test my analysis.

Why did they switch off the IREV?

And why is the result on IREV for Rivers different from what INEC physically declared?

Are you not ashamed to associate with such thing?

Lol. The case was filed by a labour party ex-chairman in kano state not from an opposition. He is an aggrieved member of the party which Obi and Abure led faction refused to placate.

Always try to read the full length of court proceeding and outcome before giving your thoughts.

Secondly, a Federal highcourt anywhere in Nigeria has jurisdiction over any state in Nigeria. A FHC in river state has jurisdiction over Bornu's politics in court.
Can you respect your intelligence, if you have any?

How many days has an aggrieved party to file for redress in court after the conduct of a party primary?

By the Electoral Act 2022, does a party chairman, or an ex party chairman at that, have the locus to challenge the outcome of a primary election he did not contest in?

PoliticsBreaking News: PEPT Walks Out Apapa’s Lawyer Who Came To Represent LP. by Penguin2(op):
With Apapa having been dislodged as the Federal High Court Abuja has finally stayed the execution of its ruling pending the determination of the Appeal filed by Julius Abure at the Appeal Court, he (Apapa) no longer has any locus upon which to stand and parade himself as the Acting Chairman of Labour Party.

However, in keeping to his threat to return to the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal today, Mr Apapa went a step further by hiring his own team of lawyers to come and represent the Labour Party in court today. But when the lawyer, a SAN, introduced himself in court as representative of Labour Party, he was highly reprimanded by the court and given the option to either walk out of the court or sit and observe. The chairman of the panel accused the lawyer of representing an unknown group.

The court will always be the last hope of the common man.

PoliticsCan The Kano Court Nullification Of Otti’s Candidature Stand? by Penguin2(op): 12:10pm On May 19, 2023
There’s a breaking news that a Kano High Court (of all courts) has nullified the candidature of Abia State Governor-elect, Mr Alex Otti to which some elements of dark forces are already celebrating and jubilating; erroneously so due to deep seated ignorance and illiteracy.

Let us try to examine that Judgment and how much or how long it can stand the test of time.

First things first, this kangaroo judgment will not stop the inauguration of Alex Otti, all they need to do is file an Appeal at the Appeal Court and the case is settled until he takes oath of office. If the Appeal Court agrees with the High Court (very unlikely), Alex Otti still has the option to Appeal at the Supreme Court. So in all, Alex Otti will be Governor of Abia State for at least 6 months.

With that stated, let’s now check the merits of the case.

The first thing to consider is when did Labour Party conduct their primaries in Abia State and when was the Kano case filed? Labour Party conducted their gubernatorial primaries in Abia in May, 2022. Almost one year later on 11th of May, 2023, somebody is filing a case against the primary. What this means is that the case was “Statute Barred” from the beginning having been filed outside 14 days window period for anyone aggrieved by the outcome of a primary election to seek redress in court.

The next question to ask is who filed the case? Does he have the locus or file the case or he’s just a meddlesome interloper? In the Electoral Act 2022, only a candidate in an election can challenge the outcome of the process in court. Any other being that does so is a meddlesome interloper.

The last thing that would be considered is if Kano High Court had jurisdiction to entertain the case in the first place.

If anything, this judgment will end up getting the judge who gave the ruling banned or sanctioned.

Sometimes you just can’t help but question the mental capacity of those who celebrate and rejoice in this kind of thing. They must be terribly mentally shallow.

Exactly! That line of argument by the respondents lawyers is valid.

If the PEPT allows live broadcast then other lower petitions will demand same. It’s going to cause chaos.

Regardless, I feel there’s enough media coverage of the case already both by traditional media and social media users.

I won’t be surprised if they rule against live coverage.

PoliticsBuhari Regime Hides Names Of Presidents Attending Tinubu’s Inauguration - PG by Penguin2(op): 8:57am On May 19, 2023
Citing security threat and diplomatic privileges, the Buhari govt has failed to reveal the number of Foreign Presidents that have indicated interest in attending Tinubu’s inauguration nor their identities.

One can only but wonder what security threat the Federal Government is talking about. What do they know that we don’t? Or is no president willing to come?

Again, where did those who were flying the narrative that 112 Presidents will be attending the inauguration get their information from?

The Presidency says it will not release the names of foreign presidents “eager” to attend the May 29 swearing-in of President-elect Bola Tinubu, insisting that the inauguration of Mr Tinubu and Vice-President-elect Kashim Shettima remains “sacrosanct.”

The secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, said this when he addressed a world news conference to kick-start the inauguration activities on Thursday in Abuja.

Mr Mustapha said many foreign heads of state had indicated interest in attending the inauguration. However, he did not mention the names of those who had confirmed attendance, citing security reasons.

“Diplomatic privileges will not allow us to announce the number of presidents or who is coming because of the precarious times we are in today,” stated Mr Mustapha. “However, there is enthusiasm and eagerness to come and support Nigeria to sustain its democracy. So we have a responsibility to get it right.”

Mr Mustapha, the chairman of the presidential transition council, said the ongoing litigation at the election tribunal would not affect the swearing-in of the president-elect and the vice-president-elect.

“Without any fear of contradiction, there will be inauguration on May 29. This is not the first time. During the election of former President Shehu Shagari, there was litigation, but the country went ahead with the inauguration,” the SGF explained.

“Also, During the election of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, there was litigation, but we continued with the swearing-in. It was only former President Goodluck Jonathan that did not take the route of litigation.”

Mr Mustapha added, “So, as long as the Lord tarries, there will be inauguration.”

The PTC chairman said the 1999 Constitution and the Electoral Act made adequate provisions on how to go about litigation arising from elections.

The May 29 presidential inauguration will be the seventh consecutive democratic transition of power in Nigeria. The day will also usher in the 16th president of the country.

If INEC is so sure of that the outcome of the election is devoid of any underhand dealings and manipulation, why are they opposed to live broadcast? What are they hiding? Shouldn’t that be the best avenue for them to clear their name and convince Nigerians that they truly carried out a transparent process like they have been claiming?

Meanwhile, I heard the Tribunal will rule on Atiku’s case today. I might be wrong sha.

With the huge amount of money spent on the last Presidential election and the preparations being put in place for the swearing-in of the President select or elect(whatever you wish to call it), i don't see anything good coming out from the Presidential election tribunal. It is as if, it is just a formality and a jamboree. I might be wrong, but that is the way I see it and it is just my opinion. I might be wrong sha, what do you think?
Before the election, they said Obi cannot win. That his supporters don’t have PVC. That they will not come out to vote. That there’s no polling unit online.

Election Day came and when they realized that his supporters marched their words with action, they resorted to knee jerk reaction by switching off the IREV to stop Obi; the man they said cannot win.

When they were done with their abracadabra, they asked him to go to court and he gladly obeyed.

At first they said he has no case in court. Then when they realized he has a good case, they started sponsoring an Amadioha to try to frustrate the case from within but that one failed too.

Now, there next line trash is that the court process is a mere formality. Okay.

Let’s wait and see.
