dochenaj:Don’t mind these kindergarten children with half brains. You can now know why they swallow any lie that Tinubu is selling to them no matter how senseless 😏. |
ScamHunter:Except that Tinubu BATstards will still argue the obvious because admitting otherwise will destroy their illusion.😏 |
Shebi APC PCC BATstards called Nextier Polls highly partisan, I’m waiting to hear what they will call this one. The truth is that 2023 elections is now between Obi and others. |
sapele914:If they did not invite him, why recognize his presence? Why not ignore him or treat him in a way that he would be too embarrassed to ever show up at any Christian event again? |
Make I hear say this post go front page 😏. APC BATstards are trying to push the false narrative that Tinubu is popular so that if one way or the other they succeed with rigging, people won’t be surprised. |
Obidient4Tinubu:Impeachment is loading on whose head? Buhari? And let’s assume you impeach Buhari, what will you now do to Osinbajo who will be even more vicious? I’m sure Tinubu would rather have Buhari in power than Osinbajo, because….😏 |
SecretSpy666:Supreme Court gave order to FG and CBN. But unfortunately, banks take instructions from the CBN and not Supreme Court. So, until the banks get any contrary directive from the CBN, the deadline remains February 10th and there’s nothing Tinubu BATstards can do about it. |
Sometimes he doesn’t even wanna speak at these events, and they will be forcing him to come to the podium and take the mic. But stupid and brainless urchins will be bandying around the narrative that Obi is the visiting churches by himself. Ndi ala! |
lovewins:I know of Atiku and Tinubu’s past, they were even business partners until Atiku sold his shares at INTELs. That’s why I said anything can happen. Again, you know Kwankwaso is still there and he too seems to prefer Tinubu to Obi. If Obi will become president, he has to win at first ballot. Anything less and his chances will become slimmer. |
Bebigiby:I read everything in the post, ok? But unlike you, I’m not deceived by the trash written therein. Ask yourself, why has nobody ever heard of these allegations against Emefiele until he decided to change the Naira notes? Did these things happen yesterday? No. So, don’t expect me to join in shouting “crucify Emefiele” because of some politically motivated bulcrap. Thank you. |
Svoboda:They’ve denied the phantom defection. Hope you are still laughing 🙄? |
FoolishBoy419:So, who are you voting for now🤔? |
wegevv:You know I share in the sentiments of the Op. I fear that if the election goes into a run-off, Obi will be at a disadvantage because of some deep seated sentiments of the core north and some Yoruba against an Igbo presidency. But like you said, these things are not cast in stone… No one can really predict the way things will pan out if things go to run-off. For instance, if it’s between Obi and Tinubu, whoever Atiku decides to throw his weight behind might likely have an edge. And you and I know that Atiku seems to have a better relationship with Obi than with Tinubu; though anything can happen. If it’s between Obi and Atiku, it is not impossible that Tinubu might be impressioned on to play the kingmaker that God seems to have destined him to be, and throw his weight behind Obi for the sake of Southern presidency. So, in all, a lot of dynamics might come into play that will swing things either way. So, let’s continue to wait and watch. |
senatordave1:Not a single Tinubu’s campaign paraphernalia yet you claim it’s campaign for Tinubu 😏. Continue lying to yourself |
Good! This is God clearing the way for Alex Otti. It seems God finally wants to remember Abia. Meanwhile, where is Soludo? These are some of the cases he should be settling as the national leader of APGA. But the idiot prefers to write letter to Obi. |
Walk of shame 😏😏😏 Oshiomole will lose his senatorial election. |
This one na Agbero wey dem shoot for leg for operation 😏. So, no surprises that he’s supporting Tinubu. If you doubt he’s Agbero, let’s find him and ask him to write his name. If he can write his name, then I will start supporting Tinubu. So, get out with inorganic love 😜 |
Everything I said in my post reechoed here. Supreme Court has no jurisdiction over this case. If the plaintiffs were serious, they know that the right place to institute the case is at the High Court. What the lawyers of Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara have done is abuse of court process. Garfield1 Afamed |
Lipscomb:Igbos are not the reason Tinubu urinated in his Agbada. Thank you 😏 |
Lol! Tinubu thought he could deceive the masses with fake love but Nigerians are wiser now. Las las it seems like the violence they courted might end up working against them. God cannot be mocked! |
Fools! I suppose it’s the same idiot that liked that post that is making this nonsense post. The other day, the idiot that calls himself Lagos REC was making statements underserving of an impartial umpire. But in all these, my happiness is that Nigerians will defeat all of them. Even if old Naira is allowed to continue circulating and Tinubu buys vote, Obi will still win. The only thing that might change is that instead of coming third, he might just come second behind Obi. So, we meuve! |
N3TRAL:The right place for them to have instituted the case is the High Court, and they know. These guys just wanted to buy time. |
Afamed:First, the Supreme Court has no powers or whatsoever to dictate to the Executive how it should sign Executive Orders. Its own is to interpret. Second, that one Executive Order was voided does not mean that another cannot be signed. |
Lol! Emefiele is their daddy🤣 If una like, cry from today till thy kingdom come, Emefiele will not remove his legs from Tinubu’s scrotum 😜. The next thing now would be to get Buhari to sign an Executive Order to ensure that February 10th deadline remains sacrosanct. By the time APC and Wike are done going from High Court to Appeal to Supreme Court challenging the legality of such Executive Order, the Elections would have been over by 3 months. Ndi ala!😏 |
I’ve said it many times that only fools and idiots with ulterior motives are fighting against the policy. Others are political thugs rented by scrupulous politicians to cause mayhem until CBN is forced to give them extension into the election so that they can buy votes. Legitimate business men and women are adjusting to the policy already without much complaints. But I trust Buhari to stick to his guns. It would be a shame if Buhari allows Tinubu errand boys to outwit him. But the game is on… |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZpMJuAZbNQ So, it seems the NLC invited Tinubu to its event on Tuesday but instead of attending, he decided to send a representative in Adams Oshiomole who was the Congress’ former leader. However, when Oshiomole was invited to the podium and he told the audience that he was there to represent Tinubu and wanted to read his speech, the audience erupted with shouts of “no ooooo, no oooo”. Seeing that the audience didn’t want to hear Tinubu’s speech, Oshiomole requested to speak to them in his capacity as former president of the union, to which they still rejected with shouts of “no oooo”! It’s an understatement to say that Oshiomole was visibly embarrassed. But things like this only begs the question, where is Tinubu really popular at? Nlfpmod Mynd44 |
garfield1:Buhari met with Emefiele at the villa today. I’ve been expecting the outcome of that meeting since afternoon so I’d know FG and CBN next line of action. But it would be a shame if the FG allows itself to be bullied into submission by some few states with purely primordial interests. |
gasparpisciotta:But unfortunately the case has no merit. |
garfield1:That’s where the dynamics I’m talking about will come into play. This time around, people, mostly people of the Southeast, are going to the polling units with Obi in their minds. In 2019, people like Ogar and OUK argued that whether you vote Buhari or Atiku, that they are both Fulani but such argument cannot fly now. I’m not saying these guys won’t influence things a bit. But not to the extent they did in 2019. |
garfield1:No, it’s not final. Except Buhari was not sincere with the currency redesign if not, I expect him to sign an Executive Order backing up the policy which ensure that the February 10th deadline remains. By the time the States would be done going from the High Court, Appeal and Supreme Court to challenge the Executive Order, the elections must have come and gone. And I trust Malami on things like this. So, don’t rejoice too quickly. |
garfield1:Your problem is over reliance on structure and the past without taking cognizance of current realities and dynamics. You’d always refer to how heavyweights would deliver their units or regions without recognizing how the people of that constituency behave towards heavyweights especially if they are standing against their popular choice. Again, you’d always point to how Buhari got 25% in Imo and some appreciable percentages in Ebonyi and Abia without recognizing the fact that these results were made possible by Incident Forms which enabled Orji Uzor Kalu and Okorocha them to write results at their parlours. |
Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara States have taken the Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria to court and gotten an interim injunction restraining the implementation of the February 10th deadline for the withdrawal of old Naira notes. The judgment has elicited myriads of reactions with most people questioning if the Supreme Court has the jurisdiction to entertain the case and grant such injunction which has made it imperative to look critically at the entire case and its merit. First, it is pertinent to state that the present policy of the CBN falls under Currency, Coinage and Legal Tender. Now, Currency, Coinage and Legal Tender is item number 15 on Exclusive List of the constitution. What this means is that only the Federal Government has powers over anything regarding monetary and currency policy and States or sub nationals or federating units have no rights or locus whatsoever to dabble into it. For clearer understanding, the only time the states can take the Federal Government to Supreme Court are only on issues in the Concurrent List where both the FG and State Governments have power of legislation. So, in a nutshell, the case instituted by Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara States at the Supreme Court is standing on faulty foundation as the Supreme Court has no jurisdiction over the case. The proper thing to do would have been to approach a High Court for Judicial Interpretation of the extent of powers of the CBN and FG as regards currency, coinage and legal tender.
