Pikin that will go places in the nearest future.

For those people saying it's child abuse.

I'm reading Mechanical engineering in one the the federal schools in the federation. And I know next to nothing about fixing a bicycle let alone a car.. I wish I was forced into this "slavery" I would have been happier. Although I'm not devoid of a hand work but I will exchange my knowledge of how to cut hair with being a mechanic any day any time.

sad This is why I love the biblical old testaments with it's strict rules similar to the tenets of Islam. The mosaic law practiced back then is needed right now to forbid this type of abomination. Why should a woman you are not married to touch your hair and romance your body in the guise of barbing? 98% of men going to such salon are going there to have an erection. It's morally and scripturally wrong and the Bible admonishes we Christians to forbid fornication and adultery. You will never see a Muslim lady barbing men, why can't we Christians learn from them? Only God knows how strict I would have been if I wasn't a born again Christian sad
And male barbers that cut female hairs nkor?

Jesus has redeemed you from the curse of the law, but people like you say His death isn't enough to redeem you and you still want to save yourself. I suggest you go back to the old testament and see which and which of the 613 Jewish laws you've broken. While you're at it, know that if you've broken one of them, you're guilty of breaking all of them.

To stop Tinubu from spilling the news is reason why they say that Buhari and Tinubu have agreed that the SW region, possibly Tinubu, shall produce APC presidential candidate in 2023.

Once they deny Tinubu the ticket in 2023, he will then spill the news.
Do you actually think that Buhari, Tinubu and the other founding fathers of APC didn't agree on where the next president will come from?

Ihedinobi3:
I think that you are mixing up English meanings. When we say that anything is done by force, we mean that people don't get a choice. That is not what the Bible teaches. People will certainly take the mark out of fear of consequence if they don't, but no one will take it without making a conscious choice to do so, knowing exactly what they are doing.

So, it would seem that you and I are in agreement. The only problem may be that you are using confusing words to communicate your position. No one will be forced to take the mark. But everyone will be threatened with dire consequences if they don't. Many will take it out of fear, but some will not take it at all. Some of those who don't take it will suffer those consequences, but some will escape them too.

As for some elect taking the mark, you may not have read what I wrote. No member of the elect will take the mark. Some believers will certainly throw away their faith and take the mark. I said that much. The great apostasy is prophesied by Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, which is also quoted in my first post on this thread. So it is not my position that no believer will take the mark. Some will, but either after they have ceased to be believers or ceasing to be believers by taking the mark. Since such people did not hold on to their faith until the end, they are not part of the elect. The elect is the group of human beings who believe in God's Messiah until the end of their earthly lives. They are not believers only for a while. So you are mixing up two things when you surmise that I might believe in the "once saved always saved" doctrine if I believe that no member of the elect will take the mark of the Beast. I believe that it is possible to fall away from the faith and I also believe that the elect are those who never fall away until their earthly lives end.

I am aware that Satan will be released after the thousand years of Christ's rule over the world. I know that he will go out and deceive many to rebel against the Lord Jesus. I think that it is reasonable to expect that some of the people who join that rebellion will be people who were believers prior, but the vast majority of those who rebel will be unbelievers who were too afraid to challenge the Lord's rule until Satan came and gave them the push that they needed to erupt into open rebellion. So you may have the wrong idea of what I know and believe.

As for what the mark of the Beast is, as I said, believe what you think is true. I believe and teach the Bible. I see no reason in the Bible to think that the mark of the Beast is other than a tattoo. I won't be changing my views on that any time. You are free to believe anything you like. I am only concerned that believing lies will put you in danger of being captured by Satan. If the Bible does not teach something, at the very least we should be skeptical about it.

Cheers.
If the mark of the beast is a chip injected into our body during vaccination, what about children that were vaccinated. Are they they doomed for hell since they have to mark of the beast?

Yeah, I agree with you that man's heart is wicked. But what 'The heart of man is desperately wicked' means is that a human being can be extremely wicked to another human being not, all human being is wicked.

Have you even wondered why some people are extremely wicked while others are extremely kind?
No man(baby) is born with a wicked heart. We are just like a white plain slate at birth, it is the things around us, while growing up, that forms(molds) us into developing a wicked heart or a kind heart.

So, religions is also a factor that fuels the development of wicked hearts in man.
If you have not witnessed at first hand, you must have heard about a preacher whose preaching instigates hatred, conflict, grudge, and so many other vices .

Thus, wiping out religions (or rather wiping out the false and 'hatred-instigating' preachers) will reduce (not end) the development of a wicked heart in man.
Wiping out religion would not in the slightest bit reduce violence.. Religion, while it has caused violence has also put some people in check. While some people kill and commit all forms of attrocities cos of their religion, we can't deny the fact that some people are actually held back from commiting crimes and other atrocities cos of their religion.

We all know that the world of now is less religious than it was some years back. Now ask yourself this. Is the world less violent and peaceful now (with the reduction in religious people) compared to when it was more religious?

The best way to understand a bible passage is to read the preceding passage and the passage after it to get what that passage is talking about.

If you read from verse 20, you'll have an understanding what Christ was talking about in verse 28..
Mat 5:20, ..except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall have no case to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Now this verse gives an insight of what Christ is saying.
The scribes and Pharisee were very religious and righteous (self righteous) people. They did everything by the book including paying of tithes, giving to the poor, not committing adultery or fornication. They didn't murder. The took gifts to the altar. Now Jesus in verse 20 tells us that all these "righteousness" was not enough to take someone the kingdom of God. And in verse 21 up till 48, he showed us how impossible it was to please God by ourselves.
In verse 21&22 He tells us that when we think we haven't killed anyone in our entire life, calling a person a fool or being angry with them for no cause is the same as murder and the same punishment for murder awaits such person.
In verse 27&28, He was telling us that when you think you haven't commited adultery before and you look at a woman lustfully, you're committing adultery.
Even as you read down, you'll see how Jesus was explaining the futility and trying to please God by ourselves.

The only way to please God is to be perfect (Mathew 5:48). And the only to be perfect in God's eyes is to believe in whom who He sent. The only way for your righteousness to exceed that of the Pharisees is to have the righteousness of Christ
