The people buying transcorp now are not kid investors. They are mopping up every available offer at any price. Something is definitely happening there.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 4:06pm On Mar 30, 2017
With that EPS I am not sure Sterling bank can pay any dividend. People are serious going to be caught in that boat.

I think at the end of it all, FCMB might be vindicated.

We await Diamond and Fidelity bank.

We already know where Skye and Wema Bank belong.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 2:52pm On Mar 30, 2017
Pls how much is Sterling bank paying as dividend?
There story is too long abeg.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 11:14am On Mar 29, 2017
@ # 1.17 no bid for FCMB. 26m plus unit on offer.
Sentiment rule the market. And sentiment is stronger than Foundamental and technical knowledge put together.

People are seriously trapped right now.

Next - Sterling, Fidelity and Diamond bank.

PoliticsRe: Dino Melaye's ABU Statement Of Results (Photo) by PharmAlfred: 11:44am On Mar 25, 2017
ABU should come out and make a statement. I don't know what is holding it back.

Dino has a lot to prove but in all I believe the court will clarify this issue and pass judgement accordingly.

RomanceRe: I Am Impotent & Frustrated by PharmAlfred: 10:48am On Mar 19, 2017
Hello,
I can relate to your frustrations. part of the problem is you have is that you have been unwilling to share and get help from medical experts.
In all your search for answers, did you use medications at any time. Do you have any know medical condition?

I will ask you to seek professional help, you have experimented enough to know you are not improving or helping yourself in anyway.

Lose your guard a bit. Don't be shy anymore. Plug your brain off some things you have assimilated that is not helping you.
Read widely around this subject area. If you can get a focused group with similar situation to discuss with, that will be fine.
I hope to read your testimony soon.

I just know that there is an invisible hand FCMB from falling. The last 2 days has shown this exertion to be true.

FCMB faithfuls are going to smile at last. I wish I am overloaded on this.

PoliticsRe: The Protest Will Still Go On Without 2baba -EIE by PharmAlfred: 8:15am On Feb 05, 2017
The protest is not about anybody. If you are comfortable with the way things are right now, then you need deliverance.
Nigerians must be allowed to express their dissatisfaction with this govt. Let that message be passed across to the liars and con men we now have in govt.
I believe something substantial will be achieved with this protest.

Thanks for the compliment, My Oga,

My bad, the bolded is what i summarized in this hashtag ( #i-pity-fringe-players-in-all-sectors-of-our-economy ) I should have explained. Big players in individual sectors will devour all fringe players, please watch Access bank director say they have gotten more corporate accounts from fringe banks in 2016. Will MTN, Cocacola, Dangote babies keep account in the likes of Skye bank and be rewarded with maybe 50,000 cash back if the bank goes under; D grin ( I laugh in CAPSLOCK grin cheesy)

Market leaders such as Flourmill gained market share as alluded to by the CEO in 2016. Dangote Flour/Sugar is big players in the North. With BH decimated, and, Buhari/CBN/Osinbajo in the "President to the President & Governor to the Governor" pocket (Dangote). If they don't play, Dangote will just announce that the refinery will not be ready till after election in 2019 (as they say, the rest is history: D cheesy cheesy).

My Oga, the list goes on and on. Total Petroleum will win in 2017, it will wipe out all fringe guys in due time( Ayo petroleum, Aruna petroleum and Uche petroleum). Our laws are great for entrenching monopoly.

To be clear, only FCMB, amongst the tier 2 names, is where i'll place my bet for the FY16 result.

http://www.cnbcafrica.com/video/?bctid=5215929981001
I welcome your perspective. Honestly, most of the things you alluded to may never happen. Most of the tier2 banks are going to post higher margin in their 2016FY result. Watch Sterling bank closely and see what happens in the days ahead.

Union Bank has never had any favourable review recently. Even the right issue Union bank offered was so criticized but gradually that stock has made some leaps.
The thing I see about most Nigerians companies is the sentiment investors have towards them. Our darling Mobil is now so difficult to sell. Once market movers move out of an investment, the stock begins to suffer. Who knows who the market movers will favour tomorrow.

As for 2017, I see things shaping up a bit. If the new found optimism is sustained further, it is going to be good for investors most especially if govt start rolling in deliverables.
Manufacturing/ndustrial goods sector should get some boost this year.

Let's just watch and wait.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 11:04pm On Jan 06, 2017
I believe another stock to watch closely is Sterling bank. It doesn't have much following or the media behind it but it does pull weight. Just the same way nobody talks about Union bank but it keeps climbing up.

2017 is going to present us with lots of opportunities in the market. Pick wisely.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 8:50am On Jan 02, 2017
Happy new year friends.

It is going to be a year of great harvest. Believe me.
A lot is going to happening in the economic sphere. I see Nigeria stabilising gradually. A lot of missed opportunities will re- present themselves and more importantly, there are going to be new opportunities in the market.

Q2 and 3 might likely be hell bullish. Let's be prepared.

2017 is the year.
EducationRe: OAU Admission Saga: Aror Oghenerukewve Got 79.05% not 75.2% by PharmAlfred: 10:05am On Dec 23, 2016
The summary of everything we 've said is that admission into Nigerian universities have to be seriously reviewed. This is just one of the many cases out there.

Merit seriously doesn't exist in the system. You will be surprise that the so-called merit list got the least vote.

I still do not see the need for lowering the standard for Educationally Less Developed States. If they are not ready to wake up they better allow those who have woken up and are ready to study.

The education minister doesn't even seem to understand what is going on. This is the lowest I have seen JAMB got to in my whole life. At least in my time, JAMB wasn't this bad, if not I would not 've even gained admission let alone study a very competitive course.

The way the stock is being chased is phenomenal. U are not alone. Boarding the bus has been very difficult. Any clue as to how to easily board? I see market sentiment in FO's favour the whole of this December.

This is a very good question and I want any member with the info to please answer...Yours truly have been trying to buy the stock since last Monday to no avail...Endless queue, price just skyrocketing and some people's portfolio just appreciating...it is well
You are not alone bro. I 've been trying to buy a piece of the cake to no avail. I hope I get it this week cos obviously the rally is going to continue with this OPEC news and oil rally.

Secondly, why are investors not considering Conoil PLC at this time?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 7:11am On Dec 12, 2016
oil price just jumped up again this morning. lLooks like Christmas is going to be good. Santa has come to NSE.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 10:09am On Dec 06, 2016
It looks like the bulls are going to be around this month. Oil stock will receive the highest attention. Time to take position.
I only hope this oil rally runs into 2017.
