Looking forward to the UCl draws later today. I know how we all want to meet Arsenal again but I honestly don't mind any team as long as it's not Barca. But if it comes to that, then we take it. I'm sure they would also not want to draw us. Fingers crossed.

Pep is a rich man's Marcelo Bielsa. It's not surprising he has copied most of his ideas on pressing and attacking football. If El Loco had the same quality of players, he would also win loads of trophies.

BoaTHONG has always been a lucky one. His biggest competition have always suffered one form of misfortune or the other. From Badstuber's injury woes to Dante's inexplicable loss of form. That Ghana juju must be strong.

Pep is a great coach. There is probably no better tactician in today's game but he is not as good as most people think he is. He has been privileged to handle two of the biggest teams in the world. Teams with proven history and a winning culture. Much of his success is down to having world-class personnel at his disposal and not some tactical ingenuity. I personally don't think the EPL has a lot to do with his struggles. Pep would dominate the league with either of his Barca or Bayern sides. City are clearly not on the same level as those two. It will be difficult to see him replicate that level of success with "lesser quality players" at City.

Impending fatherhood is really bringing out the best in Lewandowski. Make Muller go give Lisa belle so he fit regain his goalscoring form grin. Great to see him finally end his goal drought. Guy wan mad as im score. Hopefully he kicks on from here. Don Carlo should not even think of changing back to 433. The 4231 is here to stay. And yes! Leipzig lost today. Honestly, I never expected Ingolstadt would do the job. Back at the top never felt so good. Mia San Mia!

I think Guardiola is the only manager in the world that can convert a player's natural position and still do wonders. Remember Mascherano and Javi Martinez for example.

I think Ancelloti should revert to the old system, he should be himself, and stop copying Guardiola's works. Look at Martinez yesterday, he was awful. Against a big team at this shaky defence, Bayern will fail.
Abeg stop trying to make Pep bigger than he is. He wasn't the first to make such moves. Martinez played as a CB at times under Marcelo Bielsa at Bilbao. Ancelotti copying Pep? Lol! Have you been watching our games? We are now playing direct football. The transition from defense to attack is much quicker. No more sterile possession and prolonged build-ups. I have complete faith in Don Carlo and i know he will deliver. The season is a marathon.

I misquoted the commentator. He said Bayern have kept 1 clean sheet in the last 12 games, and tonight's game make it 13.

That's not good though.
I thought as much. We were keeping clean sheets at the start of the season but these days i no understand. I don't think it is peculiar to Bayern. Top teams like Barca and Real Madrid are also having similar problems. Man city and Liverpool are the worst of the bunch. I think it has to do with the style of play. Teams are sacrificing defensive solidity for more attacking power, and by so leaving spaces at the back. Even Atletico with their stubborn defence are leaking goals. Simeone is paying the price for trying to play attacking football. Looks like he has learned his lesson and has reverted to his usual system. They have looked solid at the back in recent games.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by pkasso(m): 10:56pm On Dec 02, 2016
Not an entirely convincing win tonight. The defence is starting to give me headaches. Robben must surely get that extension. Now hoping Schalke do us a favour against Liepzig.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by pkasso(m): 9:39am On Nov 24, 2016
I don't even know what to say. We have not been this vulnerable in years. Something is definitely wrong somewhere. BoaTHONG is one useless defender. His performances at the Euros have now been shown to be a fluke. And to think I nearly believed in him. Ancelotti might want to start considering benching him if he wants to save his job. Ulreich should never get a game for Bayern again. His positioning for that FK was scandalous. Sitting on the bench for so long has clearly done something to his brain.

Carletto has to learn to tweak his tactics a little bit. The 433 is evidently not getting the best out of the players. Pep was very good at trying out different systems. He also should focus on the present. He is always talking about how he wants the team to hit top form in the latter stages of the season. There will be no May for us if things continue like this.

Nihilist:
Oga you better park well this morning. And on ya inner light.

Luiz was terrible for us in a back two, just like Cahill. Go through these pages and go and look for comments made in game during that period.

Now both Cahill and Luiz look ok with an extra man helping them in defence and you're here running your mouth like a tap with no handle.

Nobody on this thread wanted Luiz before he came so Nihilist is not alone there.

Several people on this thread were cussing Luiz out in a 2 man defence so again Nihilist is not alone there.

In fact, during Sundays game, other people on this thread were also cussing out Luiz at the same time I did, so Nihilist is not alone there.

So if I'm talking about things that other people can clearly see, how is that scapegoating? Talking about what you saw in the game is irrelevant as you are neither a Chelsea fan nor a football authority... and judging by your posts you sound like Stevie Wonder can probably see further than you anyway.
Luiz was terrible in a centre-back pairing?! Here we go again. The same scapegoating issue I keep coming back to. Cahill was the one making mistakes and gifting opponents goals like say na Santa Claus but somehow you find a way to put some of the blame on Luiz. The same Luiz that was arguably Chelsea's best player on his second debut against Liverpool. Before the switch to 343, Luiz wasn't fantastic but he was decent.
You were the only Chelsea fan here who saw something wrong with Luiz' performances on Sunday and kept on posting negative comments probably to incite the others. Emaprince was the only one who fell for it, I think. That was what made me call you out. I've got no beef with you, man.

This is definitely some new shyt from you. There is no single Chelsea player I have not criticised in the past if I felt they had fvcked up. Luiz and Alonso fvcked up yesterday, so I am talking about them. Is that a sin?

I don't get how I've been 'shut up'. Luiz has been playing very well so far. I'm only voicing my opinion about yesterday's game.

We all have different understandings and interpretations of the game so I can understand if you didn't see what I saw. I saw Luiz pulled out of position a couple of times, and I saw him a head a ball straight into the path of Negredo in the box. Whilst it would be harsh to say Luiz had a terrible game, I don't think it would be remiss to say he didn't have a very good one.

Many of us have also criticised Cahill, yet he has also yet he has shackled Vardy, IBRA, pocketed Austin, Lukaku and Negredo. 3 central defenders tend to overwhelm lone strikers. In other news, water is wet.

I don't know what's prompting your diatribe bro, but you need to chill out. You've been carrying this Luiz matter on your head from time, looking for an opportunity to use your fisted and not your mouth in his defence. Take off your heart-shaped glasses and stop being so mobscene bro. E no reach all this one.
I don't have a problem with constructive criticism. We both know what I'm talking about. Or you do want me to start digging up your anti-Luiz posts? You have always been quick to pick on him. When things go wrong, he is the scapegoat.
You've never given him credit for anything despite showing great improvement. You are the only person I've seen blame Luiz for anything in the Boro game.
Trying to belittle Luiz' defensive performances because he plays in a back 3 is just cheap. Was Cahill directly marking any of the strikers I mentioned?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by pkasso(m): 3:11pm On Nov 21, 2016
I see someone has finally found his voice on David Luiz . Yes, I'm talking about no one other than Mr Nihilist. After weeks of being shut up by the stellar performances of the Brazilian, he is back trying to find faults where there are none. He has a history of painting Luiz as terrible, useless defender . He was one of those who mocked his deadline day signature. Even when the young man is playing well, there is no end to the witch-hunting. Its the David Luiz agenda.
I've taken a special interest in Chelsea this season particularly because of Luiz. I saw the Boro game and to honest, there was nothing bad about Luiz' performance. A few misplaced long passes and a booking for a hard tackle on Negredo, which is understandable. 'The Beast' has a strong physical presence and you don't expect Luiz to go easy on him. That was about it. He was winning headers and making clearances as Chelsea held on. But some people no see that one. He is the defensive anchor of a backline that has gone 6 straight matches without conceding. Even Diego Costa hailed him as the leader of the Chelsea defence. As the most central of the three CBs, he is tasked with shutting down opposition strikers and building attacks from the back. They say Luiz can't defend, yet he has shackled Vardy, IBRA, pocketed Austin, Lukaku and Negredo. Bad belle no go allow people talk truth. Awon football Einsteins.

Luiz is definitely on another level. People are now drawing comparisms between him and Beckenbauer. I am so happy for him. He has always been unfairly criticized. The scapegoat when things go wrong. You should have seen the negative comments here when Chelsea signed him on deadline day. No one gave him a chance. Only airmark was optimistic enough. Credit must also go to Conte for bringing out the best in him. Ramuzaki should be placed on suicide watch. Luiz keeps proving him wrong with each passing game. If this continues, Apari might just 'pokunso' grin.
