But i am currently facing spiritual affliction by some bastards who accuse me of dabbling Into witchcraft and bewitching them. An entire family have waged a spiritual war on me, for what I did not do.

Heres the puzzling thing. I go on my knees and cry to God for help. God always responds immediately, but then they come back. I was made to understand that they are trying to take my life but God almighty stands in their way. At home I see cockroaches anywhere I am, in places they have no busines being there. When I play gospel songs by Paul Wilbur some thing strange happens, cockroaches starts coming out of their hidden places to die in my living room. There are birds all monitoring me each time I step out. I leave home and run to the hotel they still somehow locate me.

Recently my toilets keeps getting clogged. If I fix it today within 48 hours it will mysteriously get clogged again, I fix it it repeats the circle. I have another toilet downstairs exactly the same phenomenon. It's gotten so bad I cannot even use the toilets anymore, so I left the house. There us this bizzare smell that permeates my house and as a consequences i have been forced to live in isolationist. I have no friends, it seems to me %80 of my friends are into juju or witchcraft.

I'm from a Christian home, both my parents and almost everyone else is a Christian

I found out the reason man created gods, Mankind has always feared his own mortality. So we will always have people that want there to be more. Mankind wants there to be a why to our existence, and some may never totally accept we are no better than a fly.
To believe in a God is to relinquish your ability to seek the truth... To simply give up on the answers to the impossible questions... To stop using the most important of Human faculties, the ability to question... All questions about the universe, pain, suffering, evil, morality etc...God did it.....now get back to work and pay your tithe because he needs money...

I begin with the question; Would an all powerful divine being, capable of willing the universe into existence, use a convoluted book of indeterminate authorship and origin to communicate the most important message imaginable? why would evangelism even be necessary? God could just beam the knowledge of Christianity directly into everyone's heads, or at very least talk to them like he talked to Paul or the prophets. Hell, instead of running off to heaven and never being seen again, the risen Jesus could just travel the world proclaiming the truth of his resurrection and performing miracles to prove it. It's not like he has anything better to do.
Why would an all powerful god need flawed, ignorant humans to communicate his message, especially when that message is the most important thing a human being could possibly know?

The sheer number of religions in the world should also be thought provoking in itself. There are hundreds of variations of Christianity alone. Sadly, instead of calling the source material into question, far too many people delude themselves into believing everyone else is wrong. They do this without realizing they are accepting a paradigm that says, in essence, a divine being who willed the universe into existence couldn't get his/her/its story straight.

I like to add that if there WAS a Lord of Lies such as Satan, it would be a GREAT trick for him to write a jumbled mess of a holy book like the Bible and say it was the inerrant word of God.
But even better, write 3 books based off of the same God (Torah, new testament, Koran), make them compete with each other and war over thousands of years. Pure genius.

Religion don help the world as a society....some of the first societies to arise were based solely around a common religion. Without religion, it would have been extremely unlikely for humans to find any cultural common ground. Most early tribal peoples would have driven each other to extinction based on the belief that one group must be superior than the other. Religion provided the belief that humans are under a deity, and therefore equal (In the case of most religions).

Religion don help nigeria greatly...many benefits in our society exist today due to prevalent of religion...it provides a sense of unity for communities and most religions provide charity services at no expense to the state or the tax payer. Churches, Mosques, temple, and other forms of voluntary institutions are simply more able to provide aid to those in need than individuals or governments.

Religion , or the feeling of religiosity, not surprisingly, emanates from the most primitive part of our brains, and ironically the same region where our primal animalistic impulses like fear, selfishness, prejudice reside.

Do you know that putting anything before God is idolatry? You don't necessarily have to carve an image and bow to it to term it idolatry. Why didn't God kill such people? gods carved with wood or stone or myth does not change the fact that there is no god besides God.

Maybe you have pretended to be ignorant on the fact that there are many converts to different religions everyday: Muslims to Christians, Christians to Muslims, Christians to Judaism, Buddhists to Muslims or Christians...and the list goes on. Everyone has heard about Jesus the Son of God whether you were born into Christianity or not.....speaking about our computer age time.
