Roman Christianity is TRUE CHRISTIANITY, because it's basically the institutionalization of the Christianity of Paul, which is the only version of Christianity that succeeded, largely because the other factions, based in Jerusalem, were effectively wiped out when Titus destroyed Jerusalem in 70 CE. Paul's Christians were based in many places outside Palestine, hence they survived the destruction wrought by the Romans [and would eventually "defeat" Rome with their religion. ]
