In this I agree with thee a 100 %. They all claim faith and power that can not be seen or felt anywhere. They use carefully cultivated oration to deceive themselves with those they lead. They hide under pretty church titles to swindle their members who believe they serve God by being willingly robbed of their unavailable resources. The Churches and Mosques are the second leg of the twin evil that ravages and rapes us as a country. The other leg is politics of selfishness. Now Pastor Adeboye is using style to interpret public health principles in the light of the Bible saying cleanliness is next to godliness; where exactly in the Bible is that written? If these pastors are really interested in the welfare of their Bibles how come they are not suspending many of their gatherings which are perfect breeding ground for viral transmission? But by dispersing the Christian and Muslim mobs that willingly subscribe to their form of spiritual yahoo-yahoo, the stream of income to the pastors will be affected. MelesZenawi: |
Fact remains that you have been paid to be stupid here. I don't need your payslip to be convinced otherwise. Everyone else is complaining they were shortchanged by the stupid policy, and as usual like most self-centered Nigerians whose interests don't go beyond their bellies you came out here sharing testimony because your poverty had just been improved by a few coins (how much again, 10k, 20k?)... Learn to think beyond your own immediate gain. It is this kind of self-centeredness that is killing the country, and strictly speaking with respect to this inability to consider the good of others, most of you (us) are worse than the thieves that pilot our affairs. And it is the same reason that this country is hopeless. osazsky: |

Where are they? The Buharideens? They won't shout "Up IPPIS!!" now. They have even stopped shouting "Sai Buhari". Scammers. We no tell you, say this government na bad news. Anything dem touch, na to scatter scatter. You don join the scamming platform called IPPIS now, una come dey cry upandan. Yeye dey smell. Earlystar698:

Here comes one of the paid-to-be-stupids. You did not receive any salary, apart from the money paid you by the propagandists to make you come out here to spread lies about the benefits (fictitious only) of IPPIS. It has already failed. Your egungun has crossed the lines of his safety the little reason he's capable of; he is fast approaching the express where he will be crushed to death. I am neither SSANU, nor ASUU, nor an employee of any University in Nigeria at that. These unions, the NLC, etc representing the workforce and the common man are the true owners of Nigeria, not your scheming paymasters or people like you whose only sense of loyalty can only be triggered via their belly. You are not capable of earning 20k in any decent employment, so quit this charade. You need an intelligence far beyond what you and your paymaster can ever come up with to win any fight against these unions. They are not your mate. So now, crawl back and hibernate under whatever rock you came from in the first place. osazsky: |
This is really getting out of hands. ijustdey: |
May God bless you for that response. Apart from that, I am still surprised that some people still think that unions like ASUU, SSANU, NASU have access to workers' salary, and so they keep blaming them for corruption (both real and perceived) in the University system. If there is no such thing it is the University Bursar, Vice Chancellor, and perhaps Registrar that should answer to that because these are the people in charge. ASUU doesn't have a finger in that pulse. The leadership of the school does. Blindly blaming ASUU for ghost-workerism (permit that expression) is akin to call a dog a bad name just because you need to kill it. ASUU was right all along. And SSANU should have thought it through carefully before the decision to join. This government is not interested in really fighting corruption; they are simply using that mantra to accomplish more sinister political objective. The government desperately needs to break the backbone of the University unions. Unfortunately previous governments had tried this, even military governments, and failed. The present government first tried to stir public opinion against ASUU, labelled them sex-depraved maniacs and emperors taking their loot from ghost-workerism... Later they came out to claim that most members of ASUU had already joined IPPIS. Finally they resorted to fear-mongering, that ASUU members would not be paid and blah blah blah. Much more than this had been tried by governments and they failed, governments much smarter than this one. Everyone that supports this government against the University system should have it in mind not to patronize public universities, because at the rate things are going with near zero government financial commitment to the educational sector, we might not in the nearest future have public education left. Yes, many of you will pay more than N1,000,000 in tuition to study Yoruba education, and even then you would still get a quality far removed (in the negative axis) from the present one we all complain about. But you will have the option of attending private Universities owned by our politicians who are systematically destroying the educational system of the country so as to create a market for their own private universities. At that time, you would long for the days of ASUU, SSANU and the likes. Interestingly the university lecturers won't be the ones losing out here. The same set of people will populate the private universities. okuwehcris: |

"confirmed one", not "confirm one". I just knew it, your Mom is going to have to pay for another UTME form next year. See your life. IWTBAB:

JAMB's UTME is on. Hope you are going to pass this time around, after sitting for it the umpteenth time. Focus on the UTME in front of you instead of commenting on issues beyond your understanding. IWTBAB: |
Oh my goodness! You're in Germany too, and on NL!! Splendid! It's nice meeting you here. You stay a little close to the part of Germany I generally am not excited to visit. The Eastern Germany. I arrived Germany first time in 2009, even though I have been coming and going on-off to Nigeria, yet I have never even visited Berlin once. sammyfrosh: |
Ahahaha. That's very funny coming from you or I being Nigerians. The shisha joint shooting made news simply because such things are extremely rare around here. However Boko Haram killing 6 soldiers, 30 people etc no longer make news in Nigeria because it has become a daily occurrence and we do not value life in Nigeria. sammyfrosh: |
That's true, Germany is quite accommodating. I stay in Cologne. sammyfrosh: |
Hide the pain baby. Please I want to appeal to all the good men here. Do not turn down the sexual advances of women from now on. Please, this is a very serious matter. Here is a baby that some guys turned down and now see, she has become an atomic bomb. Biko, my brothers and fathers, it is very dangerous to turn a lady down ..... at least when you haven't certified her mental state. You too, stop presenting slippers breasts and unwashed piece of your equipment to men who are busy making a good future for themselves. And when a guy says No to you, no means No. Stop embarrassing yourself upandan. Destiny-killing piece of equipment that you carry around. God help us all. ![]() Ladycewhy:

That's not a problem. :-) SweetCunt97: |
See, stop this nonsense. You're merely looking for attention. And I hate to dish out insults the way you deserve. And that's not because I like you or know you, but simply because you appear as someone with a frail mind. I reckon that living in Nigeria makes people angry by default. Everyone is angry, unfortunately you all end up taking that anger out on people who don't deserve it. There's just too much cases of near-provoked suicide for me to want to exchange insults with you. And my Mum that you just attacked... when, she's a good woman and the words of a stranger like you are literally unimportant....So, for the sake of your mental health, stop attacking me. But if you must continue this attack, get yourself into an environment where people are likely to restrain you from harming yourself. But on a second thought, you're not worth my time. You're probably just 13 years old or something. You still have the time to grow and for your brain to mature and function without the bestial edge with which you attack people like a rabid dog. Please, top this. Take this as medical advice. Peace. Ladycewhy: |
That's new. Most Nigerians I know fail to see Germany as a good prospect; interestingly it is one of the best countries I have ever visited or lived in. So, why will a pleasant person like you escape from Nigeria, God's own country? ![]() SweetCunt97: |
Sis, you must resist the pain. I repeat do not cry! Ahahahahahaha. ![]() Ladycewhy:

Did they bleach the very black baby we just saw in the video into the albino on the poster, or what? Metrixnews:

Ahahaha. I hope you didn't intend this as a punch. And yes. The answer is yes. SweetCunt97: |
You men? Yet another stereotype. What sort of men have you been meeting sis? SweetCunt97: |
You guys make mistake when you try boxing all men in our chamber. The same thing men do when they try to classify all women into one box. If what you said was true then most divorce cases wouldn't have happened the moment the woman gives her p.unani (sounds like an Indian name though) to the husband to shave. Apparently your strategy probably only works on your husband, who probably decides to oblige you just to tickle your fancy because he has already suspected your intention. That's perhaps part of your sex play. Very good for you. Let's try this: first betray your husband very deeply and anger him so sorely: e.g. send your nude to your gate man or someone else, and then let him see it, or minimize him in front of his colleagues or children etc. Afterwards quickly give him your magical p.unani to shave and let's see if he will bed you. Like someone has said, only sex starved men or sexually unbalanced men who drool when it comes to sex with women. Most highly driven men of means select their mates extremely carefully. Some of us would more likely prefer you keep our company with good, decent and stimulating conversations and a bottle of wine than have you in my bed. Ladycoolbreeze: |
Why are you so toxic dear? Why the personal attack where you should have used valid points to counter his assertions, false or not? Now I'm suspecting you've had more than a lady's fair share of rejection by men. Kpele. Ladycewhy: |
My thought exactly. Ariza: |
Let's not get beside ourselves yet. You wouldn't be surprised when they reveal their age. I know you know what I mean. ![]() There are too many 12-year olds here. It is about time Nairaland starts age verification for account opening. Then idiocy will drastically go down. No self-respecting man/woman should beg for sex or minimize the odious nature of rape by wrapping it in a joke. Fortuna2: |
You are the man! omale88: |
You didn't meet a coconut, what you met was a balloon painted as coconut. ![]() On the other hand, coconuts are for the cracking. What you should meet is a diamond coconut and then you will realize that no matter how hot you are or you think you are, the only thing your heat would accomplish is give you a fever and not make a real man gel. We say No, it is always No. SweetCunt97: |
Oh my goodness! This is the best comment I have read on this post! You really should create a meme for this. It is so on point! ![]() ProtectMyMoney: |
Thumbs up a million times. You nailed it perfectly. Women don't take rejection well I daresay unlike men. A man will be turned down by a babe and she will still expect favours from the man (for such category of women) and quite a number of men will swallow the rejection without water and still go ahead to lend a help: while some other men will move on quietly while saying no to the lady's request for favours only for such men to be branded immature, that he shouldn't have considered the rejection in deciding whether or not to lend a hand. Most men can count the ladies who have turned them down and they still keep friendship with. But most women are too full of themselves to even believe that they could ever be turned down by men. I had twice turned than two female customers' demand for sex, and I must add that I did this extra-politely, with good reasons given to both of them. I can't do this in my office; you're married (engaged), it doesn't make sense.... They both stopped patronizing my company with amazing alacrity. Blocked my number etc... Women should know that it's not because they are sexy or beautiful that men like to phu.ck them. It is because quite a number of men would phu.ck just about anything. Tie a piece of breasts and a pushie to a thorny stick, a number of men wouldn't see the thorny stick and would insert their debit card inside the slot pronto. So, women should stop seeing rejection by a man as vote of not-beautiful on them. Most times sex has nothing to do with beauty and everything to do with biology and attraction and the need of the moment. nelklyn: |
