Crime / Re: Adetokunbo Adenopo: Why I Became A Kidnapper - Pastor Confesses (Video) by pmoye(m): 12:51pm On Aug 21, 2020 |
On a very serious note now, there are many people indicted in this confession. For instance, how exactly did a medically untrained/unlicensed man like the pastor get hold of Ketamine? Ketamine is not your everyday drug that anyone can or should get access to. In fact, most pharmacies will not even stock ketamine because it is almost exclusively used in inducing anaesthesia for surgery. It is a similar drug that got Michael Jackson killed years ago, propofol. All you need to do is to inject a little too high dose of the drug and the man would have been dead. The question is, how did Pastor Adetokunbo got hold of ketamine? Did a doctor write a prescription for him to get it at a Pharmacy? That doctor should have a serious case to answer. Or did he procure it from a pharmacy without a doctor's prescription? That pharmacist should have a serious case to answer. And Pastor Adetokunbo and his gang of holy criminals should also be tried for attempted murder on account of using this extremely dangerous drug on the victim. 1 Like |
Crime / Re: Adetokunbo Adenopo: Why I Became A Kidnapper - Pastor Confesses (Video) by pmoye(m): 12:41pm On Aug 21, 2020 |
The summary of the story is that Pastor Adetokunbo recruited his subordinates to kidnap a man. The full roll call of the participants of that crime is of specific interest to the authority and I believe the police already has done the needful. That other people partook in that crime does not invalidate the fact that PASTOR Adetokunbo kidnapped someone using a bunker in his church for the crime. Topsic70: |
Crime / Re: "I Will Rape You" - Man To Electricity Official Who Cut His Wire, Strips Unclad by pmoye(m): 12:37pm On Aug 21, 2020 |
Just a question. In most cases in Nigeria it is the house owners or the communities that contribute money to install wires that supply the houses. What exactly gives these NEPA people the right to seize, after disconnection, the wires that are clearly private properties? Is there a law, a legislation somehow that gave them that right? 3 Likes |
Crime / Re: Adetokunbo Adenopo: Why I Became A Kidnapper - Pastor Confesses (Video) by pmoye(m): 12:27pm On Aug 21, 2020 |
stormborn28: Okay this is the breakdown of what transpired: saaphiere posted the youtube video with these words "Adetokunbo Adenopo, a 52 year old pastor allegedly behind the kidnap for ransome of a dispatch rider, confessed that he joined kidnapping for the expansion of his church and charity works.". The video: the alleged kidnappers rendered an account of what transpired and how the entire kidnapping operation, from conception to execution, was the brain-child of the Pastor. The Chidozie Williams was an employee of the pastor, and clearly was carrying out the instructions of his Boss and possibly his Father-in-the-Lord. If Chidozie Williams can afford a very good defense lawyer he just might get off with only a pat on the wrist. If anyone wants to objectively summarize the rendered accounts in the video, there would be no real need to mention Chidozie Williams in any serious capacity here. The real criminal is Pastor Adetokunbo Adenopo. He is a Pastor. That's a fact. And the crime was allegedly committed in his church. Deviating from these facts is mere sentiment. These are my own assessments and opinion about the video. Topsic70: took saaphiere up with these words: "You conveniently 'forgot' to mention his accomplices-in-crime - Chidozie Williams and Linus - abi? If I invoke thunder ontop ds mata now, e go be like say parsin wicked!" Perhaps he felt the need for all ethnic groups to be represented in the crime. Unfortunately there is nothing in the Op's words to suggest that he/she was trying to be ethnic biased or to kick against the church. There are different angles to every story, and readers also know this. |

Nairaland / General / Yorubas: Love Them, Hate Them, They Are The Best Group In Nigeria by pmoye(m): 11:34am On Aug 21, 2020 |
The more you read about the history, the philosophies, the culture and the accomplishments of the Yorubas, the more you just fall in love with the ethnic group. Sometimes falling in love in this regards might provoke envy and all that's left for you is an ugly remark about them... Even then your hatred is in the end a symptom of love. So this weekend, if you are a Yoruba man or woman, please be proud of your heritage and share the friendship with all around. 1 Like

Please ignore them. Social issues bordering on religion is often one way traffic into inanity in Nigeria. You could never objectively and logically discuss or debate such issue with someone whose religious ego has been injured. saaphiere: |

You're welcome bro. I really like how you nailed it so perfectly. I think the beginning of our peace is recognizing that women are unique and different from men. Same way men are unique and different from women. Both genders often make the mistake of expecting the other gender to behave like them. I believe that the beauty of our world lies with these differences, and trying to make us become the same is a sad thing indeed. Men need to understand the things women like and are wont to do, not necessarily why they like what they do. Women also need to understand the things men like and are wont to do, without necessarily understanding why. A lot of things we do in our genders are too deeply ingrained genetically (and also culturally) that the genders may not even be able to understand why. SteelMcqueen: |

My brother, you DO NOT need to defend yourself... A man doesn't need to explain why he is attracted to a woman. If the woman is that childish, then it's her problem, not yours. By the way, I don't expect a full-grown man to be so bothered about explaining his attraction to his pastor. When they ask you, if they ask you, tell them "Yes. I asked her to see me. I simply wanted to get to know her better, and I am really amused that she is so childish about it." But then it is better you say those words if you are still not being fed by your dad and mum. Otherwise they might reply with, "Really? You're grounded for the next 3 years!" Juliusmomoh: |

Ahahaha. . We dey talk of better thing you dey bring Satan enter am. There's no such thing as fornication, especially when it's not everyone that follows your religion. For the record, even according to your religion, man was created naked, so was woman. They both were allowed to phuck anyone and at anytime... This was the original state of man, according to your religion. Disobedience brought clothedness, and soon man/woman that was not meant to have any knowledge of moral right and wrong started counting certain behaviours as good and bad. The concept of good and evil, right and wrong directly emanated from the fall of man. According to your religion also, Christ came to reverse all that and re-initialize the pristine state of no-knowledge of right and wrong. So now, nothing is right, and nothing is wrong...safe the dictates of your appetite and will. Funny thing is, some of us that are open and that freely discuss sex (kpanshing, phuckery, etc) are most of the time more 'morality' decent than the religious hypocritical lot. Sex and kpanshing is a fundamental human right, just like eating and the right to security. I bet in few decades to centuries legislation to emphasize that will become mainstream. Leave Satan out of it biko, p*ssies and d*cks were created for our maximum enjoyment. inumidun2010: |

Education / Re: ASUU Unveils UTAS As Alternative To IPPIS by pmoye(m): 9:55am On Aug 19, 2020 |
Nigerian students have entered one chance! ASUU has done something very commendable. But I think we need to take some very drastic steps to see the change we desire in Nigeria: 1.) Without exception, Nigerians should insist that the children of all political officer holders and aspirants are enrolled in our public schools. 2.) Same with all Vice Chancellors and the administrative heads of our public tertiary institutions. If you have no children in any of these schools you should be disqualified from contesting or being appointed. 3.) Public institutions should be made to invent more, produce more, and be more profitable to support government subventions. 4.) Charge proper tuition for public tertiary institutions and offer single digit (e.g. < 5 %) study loan for Nigerian students while the government covers the shortfall between the interest and the inflation rate. The loan should cover both tuition and stipend for students whose parents can't afford to send them to school. 5.) Outsource a size-able part of contract jobs (skilled and unskilled) in public tertiary institutions to students and allow transparent competitive process of recruitment. And pay those students. 6.) Put to flame the imbecilic quotas given to the so-called educationally less developed states. Any state that is still educationally undeveloped in Nigeria after 60 years of Nigerian independence can NEVER again be developed educationally. Force each state to develop its sectors. Peace out! 10 Likes 3 Shares |
