You're very pretty though.

CindyBotuonye:
So,I’ve been dating this guy for close to 3 years now. We lived together for 2 and 1/2 years before we decided it was time to step up the relationship and rent a better house in another location. Being the one financially capable, he went to another state to look for a house. While he was there, he sent friends, spies, etc to keep an eye on me and my movement. He calls me and FaceTime me like 20times a day, just to know where I am. Dictates my whereabouts, dictates what I should wear etc.(he has been doing these since day one of the relationship).
This was happening around 12 of February or so. Come 14th of February,we had like the most romantic Valentine’s Day ever and he went back to continue the house search.
1week later,I got a notification from Snapchat, that my “bae” posted a snap. Only for me to open the snap and see him with another girl, swimming, kissing, making out. They even lodged in the hotel and did what they did.
When I approached him with it,he said they only made out, they didn’t have s*x. I don’t know how that is possible. Lmaooo. Anyways,he’s been asking me to give the relationship another chance, and I don’t think I want to cause, once bitten, twice shy. But what do you guys think?

The stupid people suddenly remember they have scientists. Is it the same 'scientists' that you refused to pay their salaries up to date? Or another? Is it the same 'scientists' that you refuse to fund their laboratories and research or another?

You are maddddd. Scientists should go and sit down and protect themselves biko. Let the disease from China accomplish its purpose in the midst of the political class. The common man should hide their heads and survive this period.

When Coronavirus is gone, may it usher in a new dawn in Nigeria?

Prof, I'm still trying to picture the image you just painted...

" ... laps in the air and ... titties slapping chest.."

It must be a hybrid doggie position, with the bestie lifting her laps in the air with his hands or against some prop. Naturally dem titties under than compelling force of gravity will slap hell out of dem chest.

O maddd gan. I pay my respect Prof!

profolaolu:
Disaster that is in its incubation period, your husband to be understand that you are like a chicken in the hands your bestie, soon he will roast and garnish you for a scrumptious brunch, hmmmmmm yummy, your laps in the air and your titties slapping your chest, chaiiiiiiii, you better listen to your fiance or quit the marriage, but very soon you will be asking your bestie if you can kiss or have sex with your husband

RomanceRe: Drama!!! My fiancé doesn’t want my male bestie has my maid of honor... by pmoye(m): 4:24pm On Mar 24, 2020
But you did not answer those specific questions.

1) Have you ever had sex with him (gay or not)?
2) Have you ever kissed him?
3) Have you ever given him a BJ?
4) Have you ever received a head from him?

Well, he might be gay to you, but he is definitely not gay to your fiance... Plus I am not sure how you would have taken it if your fiance comes up with this hot sexy babe as his bestie, whom he wants to appear in the wedding picture as one of his 'best man'. I'm not certain you would take it with perfect equanimity.

Answer yes or no.
Don't say it is complicated. Then we can all discuss your feelings.

Casalindal:
Hi guys... so as we keep self isolating ourselves please let remember to also keep full precautions as self isolation is not enough stay safe everyone my thoughts are with you all.

So my weeding is so right at the corner and there have been this issue between me and my fiancé about my male friend being my maid of honor, He has been my bestie for years and I feel if there is anyone I have had this total connection with? It will be him I love him so much. His sense of humor and judgement are so exceptional... I have found a great friend with him but my fiancé is saying he doesn’t want him because of his sexuality, now this is the latest drama in the house and I am not going back on my stand my bestie is walking me and that is final. RomanceRe: Help, See Where My Search For A Wife Has Landed Me by pmoye(m): 3:35pm On Mar 24, 2020
I feel your pain and your shock at what our society seems to have become. But you got a number of things wrong which I will treat point-by-point

1) the economy is never to be blamed for ladies who are materialist. Otherwise we can also go ahead and use the economy to justify why yahoo boys, ritualists, religious leaders, politicians, and armed robbers go ahead to rob people. Economy or no economy individuals reserve the right and the choice of their response to it. Some ladies respond with hard work, smart investment and building businesses, while other ladies choose to become entitled to other's money.
2) physical beauty must never be an important fact in choosing a lady. Once she feels entitled to what you have you have to cut her lose, except the sense of entitlement is mutually tolerated and exercised by the two of you. I don't have to point it out that many of our men too are too damn entitled to the possession of their friends, families and partners.
3) stop painting our mothers in holy halo: some of them are worse than the ladies of our generation. In summary, it takes a ph.u.cked up mother to raise a ph.uck.ed up daughters, and many of us men are also a culmination of our fathers. Accept that ugly side of the truth and then we all can admit that many of us have been messed up by the very parents and society that produced us. In fact a large number of Nigerian men and ladies are choosing not to marry because of the examples they have seen in their parents growing up.
4) A man should only marry when he is financially able to take care of himself, his wife and his children. The same goes for men that have reckless sex and later insist a lady should terminate the pregnancy. Only a stupid man makes such a mistake, and a dumber lady allows herself to be put in such a position like this by a man who has no plans. It doesn't matter how long it takes you as a man to become financially capable of marrying, make sure you are before you are married. It may take 1 year, 10 or 20 years: this life is not a competition. And it is highly irresponsible of you to try to marry and produce children when you are not economically equipped to do so. You end up producing materialistic girls that tax prospective suitors out of their mind, and boys that are subjected to the kind of hussle that their fathers should have done.
5) Yes, money is pretty much everything. It is only a freakishly rich man or woman who is qualified to say money is not everything. You may think it is not everything, but it damn well answers all things.
6) This is my last point on this. There are no rules for relationship or marriage. Each lady you meet as a man is different from the last. So, be kind enough to treat them with respect, of course until they mess up and show you that they are not deserving of that respect. We all have met great girls who give no rat's ass how much you have, and they are only interested in your vision. So, can we cut down on the stereotypes against women? Shall we?
And no, I ain't married either, but this hasn't stopped me from meeting some great ladies. And yes, I have had nasty experience with Nigerian babes. The entitlement mentally is almost strictly a Nigerian thing (some, not all though, but a significant 'some'). Many of the European girls I know would get offended if you even as much as try to pay for their meal.

Good luck searching for Ms Right.

Impostor:
Hello NLders

I just want to share my experience. I want people to learn from others.

So recently I started dating and meeting women with the mindset of getting married as everyone around me keep shouting that I am getting overripe. Some are even wondering if everything is ok downstairs lol. How can you not be married up till now? You know those types of comments. But how could I have gotten married when unemployment no release me until 36? Nigeria is something else. It was at that age that I finally landed a decent job. I am even lucky to be where I am now.

So many youths are underemployed/under paid. Less than a month ago, a good friend who is also my course mate messaged me to express his frustration at teaching somewhere for 50k and he said he's now ready to make money anyhow even if it will take someone's blood grin cheesy cheesy grin cheesy grin grin cheesy grin grin. It's just a threat out of frustration.

The problem now is that I don't know if there are still good women like our mothers in this country. I have met so many young girls that I have stopped trying, the quest and hunger of these girls for money is just too much.

You are unemployed and you want me to buy you an iPhone of 150,000 Naira and she was making so much noise about it. Meanwhile I use a phone of 30k lol. Almost all the ladies I am meeting are unemployed and expensive. I met one girl awaiting NYSC, she told me straight up, that I will have to be taking care of her, that she's tired of dating broke guys so she has decided that any man she wants to date will have to be responsible for her completely. It sounded like a transaction. Though she's a very pretty, tall girl but I am not even after all those facial beauty.

Another lady told me she has half of her rent and she's looking for the remaining half. The stories are so many, I could write a book with them. I don't even know how to get working class ladies. But I have now realized that Nigerian ladies are not even the problem, it's the economy. Many young ladies are struggling just like guys and the only way they can meet up with their bills is by dating 3/4 guys.

Advise from my experience.

After my NYSC, over 10 years ago, I had this mind set that I won't get married without a job or funds to take proper care of my family. I think that mindset MAY be wrong, so many people still think this way.

I will advise you look at it again because it may take you 15/20 years after University to become comfortable (not your portion). Let me be sincere with you, this Nigeria is getting worse by the day especially with the type of leaders we have, who think only of themselves and their families/tribe.

For example, you can see for yourself what is happening with the outbreak of Corona Virus in the country. After 2 infection, people started advising that we should stop foreign flights, they refused until so many infected people got into the country, now they are running up&down. If we are lucky to get good leaders after now, it may take another 30 years of continuous good leadership to save Nigeria.

My advise is that after your NYSC, if you have a supportive family and a good/understanding girl friend, just marry her and start your family. You two will Hussle together and God will bless your hustle. You may ask why? Because most people finish around 25. If it takes you 10 years to become stable and get married, if you are lucky, you will have your first child at 36, 37. By the time you are 50, your child will be in junior secondary.

Be wise money is not everything.

I just knew you couldn't resist to exhibit your abusive born-again 'Oyedepo's-protege' penchant to insult. Son of Jesus, brother of devil. Idio.ta.

HigherEd:
Don't be silly. I never recommended that the properties. Use your eyes, I said "Govt should initiate talks with Churches" so it can use their facility for everyone's good.

If outbreak happens won't Christians die? Why should we peril when we have a facility that can help us rathet shut and lie fallow in a crisis.
Lastly, Church property is not Private property in the sense of excluding the public. It can be borrowed for public good in a crisis.
Christianity EtcRe: Coronavirus: 3 Nigerian Church Buildings That Can Be Used As Treatment Centres by pmoye(m): 8:20pm On Mar 19, 2020
Neither does being a Christian automatically give you authority to suggest that other persons' properties be taken up by the government for whatever purpose.
The government should go and be responsible instead of looking for private individuals to bail them out. How long should it have taken a responsible government to have erected structures that serve as triage sites in every region at least?
It will amount to a high level of irresponsibility for private individuals to cover up for a mediocre government. If the government was up and doing in time past, that's another matter. If the spiritual business men to whom the church buildings belong voluntarily offer their properties for the use of the government it is a different thing. But to allow government into these expensive structures would be tantamount to inviting callous people into the buildings who are likely going to leave damages behind.

HigherEd:
Remember, corona does not discriminate between church goers and atheist. I sincerely believe these are the only facilities that can bed thousands of patients at the same time. Particularly, since Nigeria is plagued with uniquely useless political leaders.

It's not like patients are going to be there forever anyway. And once population of infected decreases to below 200 they can be relocated to proper hospitals and the Church facilities thoroughly disinfected.

I wrote about this because I'm a Christian. I didn't include mosque as I do not have the authority to write on that. But any true Church should be willing to help in a national crisis

HealthRe: Coronavirus: Indian Contractor At Dangote Refinery Tests Negative by pmoye(m): 8:31pm On Mar 18, 2020
No, it is not about you and I, except you want to play the ostrich. Bury your head in the sand and pretend you have a functional health system. To you you believe confessing positively without complementary funding of the system is being patriotic. In how many countries of the world have we had the report of young individuals who contacted the viral infection dying? In Ekiti state a 27 year old man already died from the infection... And yes, he was hospitalized before his death. In the same Nigeria the government claimed they tested a woman and that she was negative only for the same woman to die from the same infection they had cleared her of. If we would count that now, that's going to be 2 deaths out of 9 reported cases (yes, I added the woman they had claimed was negative). That is already 22 % fatality from an infection whose fatality rate has been reported to be about 0.3 % or less, and predominantly restricted to aged patients.

And you stand there interpreting everything in the light of politics. No, we do not have a health system. Ask the Abuja doctors who declared strike action just yesterday. Ask all the people you know who travel abroad to give birth, or your president and cohort who travel abroad for the slightest cases of earache and all.

If you are not conversant with all these things then you are not qualified to comment on this issue, and it is pure mischief for you to try to interpret this as a political exercise. And perhaps in your mind you're defending a political party or attacking a perceived political party. I hope the virus gets to your yard very soon so you can come back here and talk about how it is between you and I, that we can use sycophancy and words of mouth to in a jiffy revitalize a non-existent health system.

Niggmatic:
It's not about politicians at the moment. It's about you and I.

Doctors and nurses in those hospitals are not politicians, they people like you and I. This is not the right time for all these.

I'm surprised that you used the word 'confidence in our health system': did we before have a thing that we can call confidence in our health system? If you say yes, how come our politicians and those that can afford it spend billions of Naira every year seeking medical help abroad?

Niggmatic:
I'm not here to argue with you but remember, once people lost confidence in our health system, you are also going to suffer the consequence.
