Now, I finally believe that inverted reasoning truly exists.
You fail to provide good health care and medicines, and you believe that to improve the health system of the people all you need to do is to ban their use of herbs which people have had to resort?
I think some people need a brochure for using their brain. Something like "Thinking made easy", "Key points to using the brain", and "Applying the brain for dummies".
I keep getting shocked that human evolution has refused to move humanity beyond inverted reasoning, blaming the victim of a failed system for the ineptitude of their elected officers.
slimfit1: Generator bill is the only sensible one there. To develop we need to take drastic action taken otherwise 10years from now we will be having the same problem. We have a few years before countries stop combustion engine production. European countries will stop producing generators. But the countries producing them don't use it. They are going to use the financial opportunity of these to weak our chances of developing our energy so that we keep depending on them. We can spend money on other sources of energy like solar, there are intelligent Nigerians out there developing better cheap sources of energy we are not supporting. States are supposed to spend money on research and installation of solar in schools and hospitals. We should look at noise pollution and air pollution these generators cause and the health impacts in our lives.
FFK has money to fly to UK for care do we all have that NO. My argument might not make sense now but look at the future opportunity.
We can go ahead and blame other ladies, even men, all we want, but it doesn't change the fact that we all are different. And we cannot judge others by our own value system. We men do the same, doing silly things because of ladies that we can never get. And that is the funny and interesting thing about this life. A man is trying to get a woman that he can never have, and another woman is trying to get the heart of the man who already desires another; while the first woman is only interested in getting another man entirely.
What is truly shameful is men reducing themselves to unthinking beast and so giving credence to the stereotype that sex is the most important thing to men.
Maryjane001: But some ladies Sha do no v shame o How can someone who claims to v dignity strip for someone that she z not committed to? Some girls and fish brain are like 5 &6
If it is Ngige, then forget about the parley. There is simply no hope. That short devil is only interested in chaos. Good for him and for all of them, their children don't school in Nigeria. At this rate a time will come that Nigeria will end up outsourcing their education sector to neighbouring African countries.
It isn't always about discipline. Sometimes it is about absolute lack of interest. Unfortunately many ladies can't handle such rejection and they take it as a sentence of lack of sexiness on their part. Believe it some men are just not attracted to some women period. I personally can start to count how many girls I have politely asked to dress up after getting naked and trying very hard to seduce. And my reasons for saying no range from lack of attraction, suspicion of real motive, to just plain No-I-don't-want.
Maryjane001: Believe it or not, there are guys that can easily say no to sex no matter how hard u try to seduce them. Buh it takes discipline
Good for you, you found your calling. To have sex in life. It is your type that eventually overdoses on enhancement drugs... Pity your family biko and stop derailing this post with your obsession.
Having sex first thing in the morning not only improves your love life, it is also beneficial to your health. Early morning sex puts a smile on your face, boosts your health, looks and relationship.
people who start their days by having sex are all-around healthier and happier than those who don’t. Having sex in the morning releases the feel-good chemical oxytocin, which makes couples feel loving and bonded all day long and climaxing releases chemicals that boost levels of estrogen, which improves the tone and texture of your skin and hair.
Some other benefits of morning sex include:
1. Apart from the fact that regular morning sex makes you feel upbeat for the rest of the day, it also helps in building a stronger immune system.
2. Believe it or not, it makes you less susceptible to catching a cold or flu and can also improve the quality of your hair, skin, and nails.
3. Having morning sex three times a week lessens the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
4. You aren’t bothered by the responsibilities of the day yet and your mind is clearer.
5. You’ve just been sleeping and are hopefully well-rested and can devote more energy to sex.
6. Sex is relaxing and can help manage stress.
7. You start the day more in sync when you’ve pleasured one another both physically and emotionally.
8. You show your spouse that he/she is a priority, and so is your sex life.
9. Sex is exercise. It’s a great way to work up an early morning appetite as breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
10. Early morning sex can be a great incentive to wake-up and put you in a more positive mood. Wake-up sex will help you feel happier and healthier throughout the day.....
PRACTICE EARLY MORNING SEX AND YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT
The transformer might not work especially with epileptic power supply. He should either wait for power to be restored, or if he is not too far from the Third Mainland Bridge, that's another viable option for him.
I don't get it why some Nigerians are so unthinkingly against Lecturers and medical practitioners. Perhaps it's all envy.
SavageMaster: I guess you work in private sector, or work in a unionless profession. Good for you.
Imagine the nonsense government would have been regularly subjecting lecturers to, if not that ASUU is strong and stubborn.
I don't even understand your problem with NMA.
If you are pained, locate the nearest transformer; you know what to do next.
That's one of the reasons Fayose's PDP lost Ekiti State to the APC, because Fayose too did a similar thing in dethroning a monarch in Ikere Ekiti. Even though PDP's governorship candidate came from Ikere Ekiti, his party resoundingly lost that particular strategic stronghold to the APC. The rest they say is history.
Witcher: Politricking... Ganduje just made a grave mistake Kano people right now are fed up with APC.. he should expect Attacks from angry youths
The babe is sick, somatic and not mental. I would never be okay marrying someone this fat: there are just too many reasons for medical apprehension in that.
Baby girl, you are asking funny questions to which you already have answers. That man has objectivized you, and you're no more than a pair of tits and a cookie jar to him. If that's what you want in a relationship, then thou can proceed. Otherwise, use your thunderous voice to tell him you're no longer interested in him.
By the way, I like the way you write.
Lastly, what do you mean by bosom? What is a bosom, me I'm not understanding.
He rough handled me on my first visit to his house, claims to want a serious relationship. Can he really be serious about being serious or he is just a play boy?
So I met this guy about two weeks ago close to my street. He calls but I hardly pick. Eventually, I picked and he asked if he could pick me after work and we hangout. I accepted. He picked me up after work last week Friday. He was quite interesting and funny, he talked freely like he had known me for years but he was really so touchy, I had barely spent 5 minutes in the car and he was already touching my shoulder and even when we were inside the bar, he tried tickling me, at a point, he put his hands close to my waist, I removed it. We both discussed if we had someone we are currently seeing, I am not seeing anyone which is the truth, he said there is an Ex but they just have sex and she has her own relationship. When he was dropping me off, he asked for a close hug, I hugged him and he wanted to pull me closer and kiss. I broke free and got down. He said I am not nice.
Well, we met again on Monday, I took just water intentionally. This time I minded the distance between us. He wanted to see again on Tuesday, I declined. Then at work yesterday, he asked to see after closing. I told him he can come briefly to my work and we can talk a bit in the car and part ways. He said he would like to host me at his house instead, I declined.
Anyway, he came, I got in and he started driving and saying, I will know his house today and besides his phone battery his low. My mood changed immediately and he tried to guilt trip me and said okay should we stop on the road and get a place to charge his phone. I then told him to continue driving to his house. He stopped on the way and got snacks. We got into his house. It was nice and neat.
Then we were watching a movie, he sat down and placed my leg on his, I was cool with this. Then he made moves to kiss and I declined and pulled away. All of a sudden, he started breathing fast, hugged me so tight and kissed me despite I kept pulling away and didn't kiss back. I am weak when it comes to my Bosom, then he got there and gave me the roughest and painful squeezing I have ever experienced. I haven't been with any man in about 7 months now, I am single and It's hard for me to do a little thing as even kissing randomly. So he got me there when he got to my bosom but it took only just few seconds to snap out. He continued panting and begging for me to reciprocate, he is so hard and hasn't felt this way in a while.
I told him I don't want this, he went in frustrated, stamping his feet, I tot he had agreed, only for him to come back naked and saying okay, he has heard no sex and "I don't want to force you", so he asked for a dry hump and wanted me to turn my back. I didn't. He still kept breathing hard, like he wont survive the next minute. Then he started begging for a Mouth Action. I declined and told him I wasn't up for that. I tried pulling, away and getting angry. He became even more aggressive, removed the hands I used to protect my chest and forced his way into my bra. It was a struggle and then back to begging till I made it clear in a thunder voice for him to stop and take me home.
Then he agreed, wore his cloths and kept complaining that I don't know what I have caused and he wont be himself. We left his house and he tried stopping at a Pharmacist and said he needs to get ibuprofen, then he didn't stop again and just continued driving.
This morning, he is apologizing and repeating the things he said when we got to his house that he wants something serious with me and he wants us to start something and want it to work out. He asked to come see me at work today but I declined. With this red flags, is there a possibility that he is truly serious like he said? Or he is just doing the usual lies to get the cookie and go away. He has a nice ride and nice house, I suspect he may have girls around him. My concern isn't all these, I just want to be with a serious man who is in for commitment and not just sex.
He rough handled me on my first visit to his house, can he be sincere about wanting to be serious?
I think you're right. Now imagine it's little child someone passed a comment like that on. Your five-year old boy, or girl... Exactly.
It's not even about nailing the dannyung dude over his silly comment. But those comments should be enough reason for the law enforcement to get a warrant to investigate him for pedophilia and related crimes. His phone and laptops will be a good place for an investigator to start. And I have a feeling they are going to find something to nail him and put him away for a long time. Even just a children-related pornographic content on his phone or laptop is enough to achieve that.
Officialgarri: The dude should hire a good lawyer. I don't think there's any law in Nigeria that prohibits sexual content over the Internet.
He has never touched the boy, neither did he make any direct contact with the little boy.
If you don't want people to voice their opinions regarding anything, then never bring it to the social media. There's nothing like "mind your business" as far as social media is concerned. The Internet is not a private place.
Thank you for bringing this information to the fore. I didn't even know the doctor from Adam, but it doesn't seem reasonable to me for a medical doctor of her stature to get involved in such nonsense like that. And from the much I know about delivery, doctors hardly handle the placenta; it is nurses that hand it over to the family.
Apparently many Nigerians are so messed up that they are ready to believe the worst of everyone. If you are so unfortunate for anyone to merely accuse you of anything, silly Nigerians who don't know you are too willing to condemn you. If you go out to any street and simply scream 'Thief! Thief!', Nigerians are likely to have killed you before they even consider it necessary (if at all) to ask what you stole. I have witnessed such things first hand in Nigeria. Thank God we were able to step in to prevent the young man from being killed. They almost nearly killed him. It turned out his assailants were actually the thieves who were simply on a revenge mission for having been arrested by the police at the instigation of the victim in the past.
We ought to know better than to believe every single thing we come across on the news.
Emary: Mrs. Olaniba is an elderly female doctor of great repute with probably over 40yrs of practice. She would most likely not have been personally involved in the delivery at all. The nurse and the actual doctor who handled the delivery should be interrogated but a missing placenta does not warrant an arrest.
It is too early to condemn the doctor. She is likely the victim here. It is for a good reason that the law holds people innocent until proven guilty. Mere suspicion and accusation should not be the basis for condemning people.
Correcto: I see no hate here, juy a crazy doctor with a bad motive. This is Nigeria
First and foremost, it is difficult to believe that a medical doctor that has attained to the level of having a private clinic would need a placenta for anything... How much would the sale of placenta would have fetched a medical doctor that probably had charged between 150k and 200k for the surgery?
Secondly, child births in Nigeria are often an occasion for many people, friends and relatives to visit the woman who has just put to bed. Anyone of such visitors could have carried the placenta. In fact, the father of the newborn could have carried the placenta and he's now trying to save face. Usually the moment the procedure is complete a nurse (not even the attending physician) will pack the placenta in a container and hand it over to the father of the newborn, or any other close family member. Unfortunately most hospitals don't keep record of such exchange and it may be difficult to exonerate themselves. Our doctors should start keeping accurate records of things like this to avoid useless things of this sort embarrassing them.
It appears Nigerians are always so eager to bash Medical Doctors, Lecturers, Pastors etc... in fact, anyone Nigerians feel is doing well, they try to take their frustration out on, as if the Doctors (etc) are the ones responsible for their miserable lives.
Don't bash our doctors, they are the very ones many of you seek to become. Stop the hate please.
She believed them and opened the gate to her ICU to them one after the other. It was consensual, but under a false pretense.
All the men should be arrested and jailed without parole. Life.
She, the so-called victim should also be arrested, sentenced and jailed for her outstanding stupidity. Goodness knows we have too many stupid people roaming the streets, our government should do the needful and lock some of them away, especially those whose stupidity is so manifestly shocking.
An adult claiming to have been hypnotized. Hypnotized by greed I say, plus an overdose of folly.
Nigerians! We must receive sense by fire and by force. When you see a fellow human in distress, get help! Get her to the hospital! If anyone is in distress like this and you stand by and do nothing to save that life, may Amadioha kill you and your generation!
Enough is enough. Watching fellow Nigerians die while snapping pictures must stop. The greatest inhumanity is received at the hands of fellow citizens and not from the politicians.
Get help, next time. Next time it could be you or your children in a neighbourhood where no one knows you. Call for help. Snap later.
I doubt if the combined IQ in the North is up to 4. Too many un-evolved prehistoric human species in one location at a time. For full grown adults to be threatening blood and fire because of a man that had died and has decayed hundreds of years ago.
The convener of the protest, Idris Ibrahim (known as Baba Idris), said they came to notify the government to do the needful; otherwise, they will take the law into their hands.
Last Friday, the family house of the singer located at Sharifai quarters in Kano Municipal Local Government Area was set ablaze by irate youth who protested the song.
While addressing the protesters, the Kano Hisbah Commander, Harun Ibn-Sina, said officials in the state are on top of the situation and the parents of the musician have been arrested and are currently under police custody.
Abeg free the man. He is mentally challenged, and on a normal day people like him should be taken better care of instead of allowing them to roam the streets where they constitute security risk to people. If he has stabbed the lady to death now, what should one be saying?
TMSMedia: A lady survived a knife stab by a mentally challenged man at Oruokpota hall, Ring road in Benin, Edo State’s capital, IgbereTV reports.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the incident occurred while the stab victim was having a discussion with a friend on the walkway.
According to IgbereTV report, the mentally challenged man stabbed the lady with a knife after she and her friend ignored his warning of leaving the walkway.
The mentally challenged man was however disarmed by passersby before he could cause any more damage.
The Security job is not for you if you have plans to further your education. At this stage of your life you only need a job that allows you to explore better alternatives. But if the security job fulfills that condition, why the hell not.
Toby122: Hello, Nairalanders, I am 27 years of age and just passed out from service October last year, with a 2.1 degree cert in Geo/Envi Mgt.
My PPA retained me with a pay of 20k just this January they added 5k to my salary.
On Friday I got a call from my pastor about a security job in first bank. To cut the long story short, I was given an appointment with a salary of 40k, and now I am so confused. I have plans to further my education by September this year and am not really comfortable with leaving my current job...
100% safe? Not anywhere in Nigeria. Not even Aso Rock.
ZuesGOD: Good evening guys, i just want to know which city between Lagos and Abuja is more advisable for relocation.
Now my number one criterial is safety, a residence that is crime free.
I need a location where i know that no matter the political situation of the country, i am 100% save. The Budget is not a problem at all.
All I'm after is safety between Lagos island, lekki and environs and the main Abuja city. Which is the best for relocation most especially safety from crime.
A city that will give me the modern city feel, security, infrastructure and access to international connect. Like a powerful neighborhood.
This is a very interesting and logical explanation.
greygoblings: The Earth is covered by 70% water and 30% land. If all the ice in the polar caps are to be melted, the earth would be 100% water and warmer. The melting of the ice will bring an end to this age, hence the fear of global warming proponents. On a different note, almost all organisms on Earth has more water in them than Carbon - For instance, the human body is 60% water. Drain out all these water... Then the Earth becomes a water world again.
Good question. Except the Earth is not a close system in a strictly thermodynamic science. It is merely assumed to be. The Universe is what better describes a close system and not the Earth. In fact, the mere fact that the Earth gets irradiated everyday by solar energy from the Sun (which is outside of the Earth) is the easiest proof that the Earth is not a close system. In a close system, energy is supposed to be religiously conserved: no energy gain and no energy loss.
If the Universe is indeed proven to be the only time-space that exists, then the Universe is the one that is a close system. I think the Earth is an open system even though thermodynamics law are pretty much relevant even at its level. But, it is not a perfect close system.
But you're right. That's the first question that came to my mind as well. Where exactly did the water go? Such huge body of water that must have submerged the highest ancient mountains. I am really curious to read the explanation for that.
FuckThaMod: I love science I've studied science all my life but this new... Where did the water go to? Cos according to biogeochemical cycle, nothing on earth is ever wasted cos it's a closed system.
I'm really glad we have informed and logical people like you on Nairalands. Covid-19 is a recent discovery, a novel strain in the family of coronaviruses discovered around December 2019. That's right, just few months ago. Which completely makes nonsense of the claim of a discovery predating its discovery. Iwu claims he discovered the cure in 2015 to a pathogen that was discovered about 4 months ago, and some people expect everyone to jump on the silly wagon of belief. Perhaps he found something in truth; perhaps a found a pesticide that had worked ex vivo on an old member of the coronviridae family of virus, a property that most pesticides can easily boast of... Viruses are the easiest pathogens to destroy ex vivo by a wide range of chemicals, but these chemicals don't exactly qualify as drugs because in the body they won't just kill the virus, they will kill the person too... I have taken time to track down Prof Iwu's publications, unfortunately I couldn't find even one that comes close to the claimed activity against any strain of coronaviruses. Which gives one concern about his motive for claiming he has discovered a cure.
thesicilian: This is the only one of this kind of comments I'll reply, and the only time I'll do so I've seen many comments like yours, people like you who think they know what they are talking about based on information they get from social media and their grandparents without really knowing anything. In order to sound intelligent they end up making a fool of themselves because half-education can sometimes be worse than no education. That the Corona group of viruses have been in existence for ages does not mean that they are all the same. Every new strain is a new virus, belonging to a group does not remove from you the qualities that make you unique and different from others. A single genetic mutation is all it takes to convert a seemingly benign organism to a more deadly one capable of causing fatalities on a global scale. That is part of the reason this particular strain of Corona virus is referred to as novel (novel in this case means new or unusual) and has to be renamed COVID-19 because it was discovered in December 2019. Please learn to study in-depth whatever you read, and even when you think you know something others do not, try to pass your message along without being condescending or downright insulting.
