sometimes, people don't tell their lawyers the truth. If during the court proceedings she pleaded guilty as charged, she would have been charged with manslaughter and not for murder. But if you say you are not guilty and it is found out you are actually guilty , you will be charged with If she had told the lawyers the real truth, no lawyer will advise her to say otherwise.

PMS is different from AGO. For PMS you are not taking it to customer's site it is suppliers that will bring it to you. That way, the risk is on the supplier cos you must have had an agreement to pay for the physical quantity received only. Other the other hand, if a company is doing self collection i.e you go and receive the product yourself, they normally have a certain percentage they accept for leakage or evaporation. If the driver comes with something greater than that as loss, the driver will be debited straight. No story.

Jankara problem needs jankara solution. But before you start debiting drivers anyhow make sure you calibrate your tanks, weighbridge.

My experience is using 4 seals, one each for the three opening on top and one for the discharge compartment. The chance of theft will be very low is this is done
Even if you use four seals, you have to communicate the seal numbers to customers. I know few drivers know how to tamper with seal without being noticed. I don't how how big you are, but u can invest in cameras.

Anyone who can solve the problem of exchanging naira into foreign currencies online with the ability to transfer in and out of Nigeria will become successful.

I haven't found a single start up trying to solve this problem.

The western companies have solved transfering money into Nigeria but won't allow Naira conversion into other currencies.
I don't know much about these so I am taking it one step at a time.

MARRIAGES FAIL WHETHER SINGLE MOM OR NOT.

FROM YOUR NOTE I'VE CONCLUDED THAT YOU WERE THE PROBLEM IN YOUR MARRIAGE. THERE'S A CHANCE YOU KEPT DOING THE UNTHINKABLE, EXPECTING HER TO WORSHIP YOU BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE IT'S A FAVOUR YOU'RE DOING HER BY BEING WITH HER.

I'M HAPPY FOR HER WHOEVER SHE IS. PEOPLE DESERVE BETTER THAN PEOPLE LIKE YOU.
Don't say that. I have a friend who is capable of towing same part. I have advised her but my voice can't be louder than the voice of other friends combined. They always start with meeting for "child support".

A friend of mine was still contacting the father of her child two months to the wedding to discuss child support. For what reason? This same guy only brings money whenever he likes, I saw the meeting as uncalled for. More so, the husband to be already knew of the child and what he is getting himself involved in.

Will this be an issue when applying for jobs?

How do I go about correcting the error?

Thanks so much for your anticipated advice.
Do people still use first school leaving certificates to apply? You are funny.

CareerRe: She Absconded From Work, Now She Begs To Come Back by Poanan: 1:44pm On Jan 05, 2020
Abujaexpress:
My fellow employers in the house, I crave your indulgences to be guided on this issue, thus:
I employed a lady as my secretary. She had worked for about 3 months before she failed to resume work on a particular day and all my phone calls to her were not answered by her. After a few days, a friend that brought and guaranteed her employment with my firm called me that the girl said I shouted at her and flinged a document towards her, as a result of which she left.

The following day, I called the girl, this time around she picked, albeit reluctantly and I told her that since she has refused to show up at work, she should return the office key which was with her. A few days later, I did not know when she sneaked into the complex and gave the key to my neighbour, which he delivered to me.

I subsequently called the girl and asked her if she does not want to work again, she simply said that she is attending to her health in her village. I did not hear from her since then untill the 2nd of the following month, December when she called me to request for transfer of her salary to her. I initially asked her to come to office to resign and handover officially for me to work out her salary, but I later allowed human feelings to take hold me and I calculated/substracted the numbers of days she did not work for that month and transferred the balance to her.

Immediately she called to thank me and she again called on new day to wish me a happy new year.

Then suddenly on the 3/01/2020, she sent me a message that she would pls want to talk with me. I agreed to listen to her. She called me to say if I have not employed another secretary, that she would want to resume and that if I will allow her to work with me again. I simply told her that I would look into it and get back to her. Am yet to give her field back.

The issue now is, considering the nature of her leaving work AWOL, and now calling to beg to come back, should I accept her back or I should her engage a different person (already I have some applications for the job on my table).

N. B. Kindly note that her brief stay in my office have exposed the girl as a dishonest fellow and her penchant for excuses from office citing sickness and flimsy excuses is very her.

I need advice please.
The thing is that you are very rude and dont have respect anybody. she only left cos of the way you flung a document at her. For you to fling a document means you have shown signs of hostility in the past and you are only friendly when you choose to. Respect is not only from the bottom also top-down.You really need to make deliberate efforts to work on your self, you start by attending a good leadership training organised by good organisations like "Great Place to Work". They will teach you the act of getting your assistants to do your bidding subtly. You will learn how to work on people's psyche effortlessly instead behaving in a manner that can only be compared to something else.

I'm in a dilemma of choosing between my current job and an offer that just came...my current job is on contract ending April with possiblity of extension. Pay is 100k; take home is 93k whereas the new offer is more permanent pay 70; take home around 60 something with possiblity of growth. Should I take d new offer considering that my current job contract will soon run out??or should I take the new job...ur candid advices is highly needed..thanks
hmm.. it is difficult to choose. But is the 60k job a government job? if it not, don,t bother taking such as pay cut. From your statement the 60k is with possibility of growth, meaning the growth is not sure. For me the risk of the contract job is as high as the permanent job, I will take the one with the highest pay. Life itself is risky.

I feel you still stay with someone that is why you are ready to take such a pay cut. But it is up to you to decide as this is strictly my opinion which may not be the best.

What do you think should be a realistic return on a rental property, sir?
I am a female, I dont know why i did not specify that at the point of registration but that is okay. From what i see around, a return of 500k max is more realistic. I am not saying N1m is not possible but i feel there is more to it. I just hope it is not a house owned by a family and one person is trying to be smart. Most times the family will come for you and it does not end well.

What is the incentive of investing in naira at 5 % when you can earn 7 % in a foreign currency to mitigate any gra gra from CBN?

The economic indicators don't make sense, it's not clear what emefiele is trying to achieve.

I'm negotiating the price of a property in Ibadan for ten million, rent is 1 mill per annum, that's an roi of ten percent and I don't need to worry about inflation.

I don't think the guy is fear mongering just being realistic
hmm... dont ask the tenants but use someone to act like a prospective tenant. A rent of 1m per annum in Ibadan? Then the cost price is to be negotiated for N10m? a house with a rent of 1m per annum cannot have a market value of N10m. Not like i am trying to say something but look very well.

itsme01:
cool

Buhari wouldnt dare.. but then again it is his last term and he seem to be unpredictable

Subsidy would die a natural death when Dangote refinery becomes functional with the modular refineries springing up and the NNPC refineries working to atleast 50% installed capacity, we can simply rich an agreement on crude oil swap for refined products and save scarce forex

The truth about devaluation is if we can fix Power and get Ajaokuta steel plant running to service industries, we wouldnt be needing dollars as much as we do

..
Dangote is not enough to kill the issue of subisdy. The dangote refinery is a step but not the answer. The crude oil swap has being on, how did you think Aluko made his money? They were just lifting oil without returning any refined crude, not just Aluko but a host of others. As for Ajaokuta steel, Nigerians should forget about it. Yes, cos that organisation will be filled with people who are connected to the government, then they start to declare loss every year. Some of those losses these parastatals declare are deliberate. If you doubt me, go to the parastatals this period and see the way contractors are queued. Nobody goes on leave this period cos all monies must be shared.

I just want to know the powers of a compliance officer of a bank. Can the person hire workers for a bank or even fire workers? Or what are the powers?
The way you can going about your questions may land you in soup. From your write-up, you are not asking for the job descriptions, rather you are asking for the powers. It seems like you are going to be a power drunk and tyrant. But I have to warn you that the corporate world is a war place. Hiring and firing workers is not within your purview gentleman. As a compliance officer you are even the smallest in the team, yours is to report when the rules are contravened and most importantly you have to be unbiased. Most people looking for someone to bow to them are most times biased in their judgement and that often is the beginning of their downfall.
