naptu2: If, if, if = you don't know. You are just guessing.Same as you bros, only that you swallow your guesstimates hooks. line, and sinker as the truth! Dumping human beings at the foot of a bridge by 3.00am is barbaric, wicked and callous, as is detaining them in any center for close to 6 months against their will without recourse to the courts! Descending the ladder of bigotry will get you nowhere fast! Stick to posting pictures of ex-presidents! |
naptu2: Who agreed to have the transfer done there? Wasn't it the Anambra State Government? Why didn't they show up? How come there was no controversy when Akwa-Ibom State had a transfer with the Lagos State Government? What do you even know about this policy? Do you think this is the first time people have been relocated? Do you know that even Lagos indigenes are re-integrated within Lagos?Like I said, stick to posting pictures. Any policy/scheme that encourages dumping of human beings by 3.00am at some head bridge is barbaric, ill-thought, and inhuman. IF the Anambra State Governmnent indeed agreed to receive them, logic dictates it can NEVER be by 3.00 am in the dead of the night. If that was the agreed time, common sense dictates that they wait or try to contact the Anambra official, it's a matter of phone call. Dumping them there like waste is barbaric, and no policy of a self respecting government will support that. And no self respecting individual will support this barbarism; I doubt Akwa Ibom Government dumped Lagos State indigene at Ore by 3.00am in the name of repatriation. So much for your knowledge of the dumping policy! |
naptu2: Which is why Fashola said that anybody who is aggrieved should go to court. I watched the video of the man from Kano that was relocated back to Kano and I know that the social welfare ministry keeps records of all its activities (including videos). I just hope someone will take this matter to court so that we can see what the result will be.So you are telling us here that your family lives at Onitsha bridge head? That it is safe, great, and fair to dump you or any of your relative at some bridge head by 3.00 am in the morning? You are also telling us it is proper to keep people against their will for up to 6 months against their will prior to such deportation? I think you rather face your history photo journalism, this is a tad too complicated for you! |
ilugunboy: The question you and your type failed to ask is..Does prior communication justify dumping them at the bridge head in the dead of the night? They are human beings for crying out loud, not cargoes; they could be poor or hapless but still they are humans, and deserved better! I don't know why you are so heartless, wicked, barbaric in your argument and thinking - you and some of your folks here! |
Mr Ngige, Did Fashola tell you how long those people were in his detention camps? You reported that most of them had no relatives in Lagos, what about those who had relatives, was effort made to to reach them? Were they aware that their missing relatives were languishing in some detention camps? Did the Anambra State Government agree to receive all those dumped on the bridge including none Anambra indigenes? Let's call a spade a spade, it was the the most unkindest cut by Fashola at the heart of these people. I surmise that their only crime is that they were presumed poor and couldn't speak .Yoruba |
igbobuigbo: I have just been in a meeting where it was disclosed that Tinubu is planning to storm Anambra with billions of Naira to campaign for Ngige to enable APC gain a foothold in the East by all means possible. What this means is that if Ngige wins, Tinubu becomes the godfather in the most economically-important Igbo state.Hmmmn, **scratches head** 1. Do we let Tinubu come with the Billions and we goad him to share it amongst the youths? After all, it's stolen money from Lagos govt, and then we vote for APGA (Soludo)?True the money is stolen from Lagos, and the Youth will probably like some fat share of the money to pay for their ultimate relocation to Lagos. Wont be bad idea, but they have to let him know we are voting for Soludo and he is wasting his money. No backhand deal of the sort he (Tinubu) made with GEJ. 2. Do we block him at the bridgehead collect the money, and ask him to go back and not bring his thuggery-style electioneering into Anambra? He's coming with a lot of thugs and rascal, will be a bad idea to confront him at the bridge. In anycase, we welcome strangers in Igboland, we don't deport them in the dead of the night - Tinubu's usual travel time. 3. Do we allow him in, collect the money (a bird at hand is worth 5 in the bush) and vote for Ngige? Having known Ngige quite closely he is quite strong-willed and may not let Tinubu dictate to him what to do in Anambra? Ngige will collect his share of the Tinubu's loot anyway lose or win. ![]() 4. Do we allow him in, collect the money and stone him like A-o was stoned (as the story went) in Aba in the 60s?I didn't know awo (read toad) was stoned in Aba. I prefer pelting rotten political thieves like with rotten tomatoes and rotten eggs in the spirit of modernization. ![]() |
Question: Fashola did you deport Igbos from Lagos? Fashola: We live in an interesting time as evidenced by two adults kissing on TV. What sort of answer is that? wtf is wrong with this guy? Even a child can do better. |
Personally, I think the people of Awaka in Anambra are thrilled to be liberated from power of darkness that had loom large over the country for a very long time. It is indeed a testament that despite the challenge poised by insecurities, scheming oppositions, sabotage, and systemic long term decay of infrastructure and systems, team GEJ continue to reach newer milestone. This administration aided the return of the rail, exit of long queues at filling stations, agric revolutions, deaths of several bad road, renovation/remodeling of the aviation sector, and of course the lighting up of Nigeria - in a sustainable manner. This administration supervised free and fair polls, and also allowed clowns and lairs unmitigated press freedom to rant and rave their wicked lies! All these within three years. Now we can excuse the physically blind if they fail to appreciate; we can excuse the deaf since they cannot hear. But what do we say to bigots, motivated only by primordial sentiment of ethnicity, and partisan politics who fail to appreciates some of the revolutionary little/giant steps taken to correct a country bastardize within a long passage of time? I say let them hug transformers in the city of Awaka to confirm the veracity of this news; I say shame to them! |
ilugunboy: Shut up!You rather should sharrap there! The case I painted earlier is a true story, and it happened here is Lagos. The poor boy is still missing as we speak PointB: Were their families informed that they have been 'bundled' by agents of the state? Or because been found outside your homes automatically make you 'homeless destitute'?. |
alj harem: please let it. I say we are tired of IGBOS. thats allIf you are tired of Igbos, the simplest way out is to take a cocktail of rat poison. Igbos will not vanish from Lagos because lowlife like you is tired of them. As a matter of fact I have just sent some money to my cousin who believes he can make it in Lagos. He is joining the growing population of Igbos in Lagos. Now grab your concoction of rat poison now or FOREVER remain silent! |
ba7man: I tire ooo....What kind of stooopid allegation is this. Do they think we wake up in Lagos to find dead bodies floating in our rivers??Were their families informed that they have been 'bundled' by agents of the state? Or because been found outside your homes automatically make you 'homeless destitute'? If some of your folks are not totally bias and defensive about the whole issue, it doesn't take much convincing to accept the fact that keeping someone against his wish in any sort of camp for up 6 months in totally morally and criminally wrong - it is called kidnapping. Have we even bother to think of the trauma parents of these people will pass through looking for their relatives. Personally I know a woman who been looking for a missing son (a man in his late 20s) for over four months, who went missing on his way back from shop in Lagos. The traumatized woman practically stands in the middle of the road daily to soliloquize. Now if her child has been bundled for frivolous reason by agents of Fashola, kept for so long without her knowledge, and some of you see nothing wrong with it, I can only imagine the sort of heartless fellows I share a country with. |
Onlytruth: Thank you my brother. I wonder where our people keep their brains these days.My brother it is well. |
Onlytruth: Thank God for this day! Now we can truly stand a chance of rapid development not just for Anambra but the SE and the whole East. By the grace of God Soludo will win. We need smart and ambitious leaders in SE.Without doubt Eze. Soludo's vision and pragmatic approach will certainly have a ripple effect in a positive way across the SE. I pray he wins; and someone I think he will win. If those who voted him in PDP and the APGA faithful throw in their support, it will certainly be smooth sailing for him. Glad also that the APGA troubles have been laid to rest. |
Chris†Kid:I am from Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia. And certainly from Rivers, Delta et al. I am an Igboman! |
Congrats to Soludo. It's not just a smart choice, but ultimately a wise decision. I hope Anambra people will reciprocate his offer for service with emphatic votes! Anambra is certainly on the right path. |
alj harem:Lagos should try secession if they are tired of being in Nigeria. Even that will not guarantee an Igbo free country for them. Basically anyone who is tired of seeing Igbos in Lagos State, including you, should take rat poison or jump in front of the Lagos-Kano train! Like we care! ![]() |
bashy_demy: Wowww Finally ACN voice out ooo. So Akwa Ibom state have done the same to Lagos states indigine before, SO why the noise then so its not new at all.. More to be deported soon.I don't believe it; even if so, two wrongs don't make a right. Let's call a spade a spade, Fashola is dead wrong on this issue. It has serious ethnic undertone. |
plaindealer: Didn't know a well known acn official is also the head of NSB and he don conduct his own census in lagos state..Perhaps Joe Igbokwe should be relieved of his duties for making false representation for his boss? Do you think so brainiac? |
Dibiachukwu: If Fashola authorized and executed innocent people in his illegal detention centers. He and his cohorts shall surely suffer the same faith! Those who kill by the sword generally suffer similar fate. It's karma, and she is a bi/tch! |
re@lchange:My brother that is the real problem. How are the bodies disposed even? Secretly buried, dumped by the roadsides and passed off as victims of violent crimes? You see one begin to imagine a lot of things here. Nigerians are disappearing from the street enroute their workplace or homes and some people are celebrating. It's very sad! |
Sincere 9gerian: 29 people died in Fashola's concentration camps. They were detained only because they were/are poor. Very very sad. May God deliver us from satanic tyrants. It very bad indeed; a dark era in the history of Lagos State, nay, Nigeria. The sad thing about this saga is that people can be missing for months, while their relative scour the whole country looking for them, wasting precious time, money and emotion, only to later find out they were kidnapped by agents of a state governor. The issue of the dead is even sadder; one can only imagine the state of relatives whose loved ones left home and never came back simply because they dies at one of of these illegal detention centers run by Fashole and his cohorts. The Fderal Government and National Assembly need to conduct an inquest into these. It is not simply a matter of constitutional breach, criminality is definitely involved now. People are alleged to have died in these concentration camps, a proper investigation need to be done, and those found culpable should face the courts - the courts their unfortunate victims were denied. |
Still the questions are: - Why detain them for close to 6 months under harsh condition without a word to their worried relatives/families? - Why deport them (Irabor et al) to Onitsha Head Bridge, when clearly Onitsha is not their home states? - Why off-load them like refuse in the dead of the night where they could be harmed? - Do their family live at Onitsha head bridge? - Were their families informed to come pick their long lost relatives at Onitsha Head bridge by 3.00 am in the morning (not minding if they agreed) ? The 45% Igbo voting population in Lagos, while waiting for answers to these questions, should start talking to ACN, Labour, APGA for possible alliance in 2015. ACN clearly have lost Igbo voters with this shenanigans. We will cast our votes for a friendly government. |
^^^ You see am so? Funny stuff! ![]() |
What is Karen? Is she an object? ![]() |
Lagosbabe1: Well it is a fact, I did not make it up. Did I hit a nerve??*** yawns*** You are really boring, and not even original. I hate to repeat myself, so here: PointB: So this thread has now tured to Igbos being killed in the North. Some of you folks are intrinsically pathetic. I bet those yo'roba traders that were massacred in the same North are, let me guess, Igbos too. You folks are just inherently pitiable that you were it on your face in form of tribal marks. |
Lagosbabe1: Ok thank you.So this thread has now tured to Igbos being killed in the North. Some of you folks are intrinsically pathetic. I bet those yo'roba traders that were massacred in the same North are, let me guess, Igbos too. You folks are just inherently pitiable that you were it on your face in form of tribal marks. Again FASHOLE will NEVER be president in 2015, and it has nothing to do with being Igbo or not, it's simply how Nigeria politics works, stu.pid! |
Lagosbabe1: For someone coming on hear to criticize, you are not really being upfront. You came to a thread about the Lagos state governor- what state are you from? we start from therelol. That's another question. What has my state of origin got to do with a topic about Fashole's bootlickers presidential wet dreams? Fashole know very well he can NEVER be the president of Nigeria come 2015 but some dreamers just won't let go of the dreams. That I understand, poor them. |
Lagosbabe1: Ok thank you. My question is how many of your village and town people have migrated to Lagos? What does your state look like? You accuse him of eye service but he can provide evidence of his work- can you say the same about your village and state?Answers to your jamb questions: 1. Note enough. My sister, cousin, and grandmother are still in the village. Will be sending their transport fare next week. 2. My state looks very good. 3. My village (Nigeria) and state (Nigeria) are doing pretty well. Any more question? - |
In any case, call it anything you wish, the fact remains that this is Nigeria and .Yorubas have already had their turn in the presidency in recent time. All those rooting fashola can either wait or drink crude oil. Except the elect him to rule Oduduwa Republic. |
lol, Looks to me that Fashola likes taking picture of himself working. Where I come from, it's called - 'Eye Service' ![]() |

Igbos are routinely slaughtered in the North without any consequences whatsoever- what have massob, Orji Kalu and you people done to stop it?? because you know Yorubas are peace loving , you take advantage of our hospitality and friendship. You are shouting about a mosquito bite on your arm when your leg is withering away with a big cancer.
