FreeGlobe: what do you mean no candidate has been strongly opposed. I have followed @PointB's response to my objections to a nominee respectfully because of the way he replied but your statement that no candidate has been strongly opposed is plain stupiiiid. Are you blind? How am I sure you are not aiming to favor onlytruth. My objections and that of @promeo are not strong enough or because they are not in line with your aspirations? Kindly resign from your position please, you are too biased to be an umpire. And Alex has gotten more than 5 nominations brother Maurice Iwu.

Take it easy bros. 9ja_I_hail is correct to suggest that the appeal for disqualification was not built on solid reason. I was wrong to have suggested he (9ja_I_hail) listens to your appeal after my initial comment. I owe him an apology.

That said, I think if you can show your reason base on the constitution, we may be able to listen to you.

One_Naira: Mscheww change this route and make Eze ndi-Igbo for both sexes. Eze ndi Igbo means ruler of all Igbo no be so while the Eze nwanyi is his counterpart that usually have the grounds to rule just the women right or am I mistaking? Change this ooo. Let babymama run for eze ndi igbo. Onlytruth or alex, he caught my interest, are great people but I still want Babymama. Why can't she run?

ndu_chucks: @PointB and 9ja_I_hail. I observed that certain people are objecting to the nomination of legitimate candidates and you guys are implying that you may look into their objections. Well, inasmuch as those Candidates are Igbo and have met all the criteria in the "constitution", don't waste your time on objections raised by dullards like Noiselessbrainless.

Let these people show their objections by not voting for Okija or Onlytruth if they so wish. Its time to get the voting process going.

It is simply not a matter of allowing candidates to contest. If the objections are in line with the Nomination Rules, we certainly will look into them. Candidate who breach aspect of the rules may have to pay a price for such infraction.

I can't 'sack' any of those Electoral Team, it is not the right thing to do. The task at hand is huge, and they are doing very good job. As a matter of fact more hands are needed.

Thanks for the update. But l think freeglobe has already made his opposition to OnlyTruth and OkiJa_juju nominations. I think we should note that.

Let me start with some clarification. Abians are great sons and daughters Igboland. They are very innovative and enterprising. Incidentally I cannot remember stating that I am from Abia, as I prefer not to pander to states in affairs of Igboland. I will therefore not admit nor refute being from Abia State. I am however proud to state I am Igbo and I believe that should suffice for now.

On the more pertinent issue of my standing for Eze Ndi Igbo election, I believe one can serve Ndi Igbo in various capacity. The background work is as important as those done in the fore. If and when someone steps up to take up this role of organising our people for the Ezeship I agree with you that I may not have any more 'excuses.' But until then, getting the Ezeship to a self sustaining level is a task we must complete.

Regarding your submission that OnlyTruth and Okija be disqualified for sundry reason, kindly note that the rule states that they can be disqualified if there is an opposition to their candidacy equal to 1/3 of the nominations they recieved.

Furthermore the constitution which you were part of in drafting stages did not bar any former or incubent Eze from seeking re-election. You will agree with me that it would be unfair (unconstitutional) to accede to that. Kindly play by the rules, until they are reviewed.

When Odumchi was elected, some called me similar if not worse names while you stood up in defence. Now that it seems the tide has turned, you have climbed the podium to lead the assualt of insult. I guess that the price one have to pay. It is all well and good.

I just don't get all these random musing and snide comments. So PointB is now OnlyTruth, or is PointB even voting or campaigning for anyone? To think or remotely suggest I have a way of influencing the result of the election is stretching your imagination beyond it's limit. I have no vote, and will cast none!

@PointB I object onlytruth's nomination, The constitution only spells a single tenure of one year and moreover majority of people that nominated him has their igboness in doubt (mostly his clique and former members of his cabinet), also his publicity (good or bad) as a former eze is wearing down on other nominees which is not fair.

I will bring other points if you ignore these ones.

I will take note of your objection as a point against his candidacy, subject to the nomination and disqualification rule. But I must also say, the rule does not prevent an incumbent or former Eze from seeking a reelection as many times as he wishes. His former cabinet members couldn't be less Igbo than him. His publicity (popularity) is a strength not a weakness.

I also seek clarification on those nominees who have their "Igboness" in doubt.

The Election Program will look very much as outlined below. A little adjustment may be made as exigency dictates.

- Nominations will run through the weekend.
- Acceptance, campaign, manifestos, debates, screening, electoral appeals, etc will will take center stage on from Monday
- On Tuesday three candidate with the highest number of nomination who meet with laid down criteria with be polled.
- Election will run for three days, and the new Eze will be known Friday next week.

If and individual has two ID and use one to instigate trouble, and the other to preach peace, such handles are considered one and the same, for the emanate from same mind. An individual will be DISQUALIFIED from standing for elective position if
a. He breaches any section of the Nomination Rule OR
b. Such individual has an opposition to his candidacy totaling not less than 1/3 of his/her total nominations.
c. Nominees who do not accept their nominations after the deadline determined by the electoral commissioner, SHALL be disqualified.
d. Where all nominees fail to accept their nomination, the incumbent shall be returned unopposed.

The Electoral committee may also screen individual to ascertain if the breach any section of our rules. Finding may lead to disqualification.
