3cycle: It's obvious you married him because of his money and nothing more, you sound too angry to have a reasonable conversation with anyone.I even doubt if you are a woman. However, why are you taking this matter too personal to the extent of calling someone's husband 'nwakpuda'? How can you call a man who is 1.75m tall a short man? He has a cute height that any woman can brag with. Of course 1.75m is just almost 6ft. This your obsession no deh here o! You better control it. |
Actually, this is the best post on nairaland romance section. Mods should move this to front page so that our sisters will know the obvious truth. Anybody that says that by simply being tall makes a man better than short guys should try and convince me that a woman who is yellow in complexion is better than the ones who are dark in complexion. Anyway, some deluded female folks will always wait to make their own mistakes before they learn. |
Hausas and their slaves (Yorubas) are trying very hard to create the impression that Igbos are not better than them. The claims, counter claims, and pull-igbos down-crusade going on here are simply based on anti-igbo mentality. In the next Ohaneze Ndi Igbo meeting, this issue will be raised and henceforth, I expect all well-meaning Igbo sons and daughters to: 1. STOP patronizing GT Bank. 2. STOP using GLO Network. 3. All GT Banks in South-East should be made unproductive strategically. 4. Among others. The Hausas in the North have no problems EXCEPT violence. We can live with that instead. |
2cato: If he wins i will suggest u and ur minions should go and stand in front of his motorcade and shout a big no so as to stop him.Is that all you can say? You and your spineless president will be shocked. The youths are angry! |
Falsehood is the greatest crime against humanity, especially if such lies are meant for public consumption. The immigration recruitment exercise in which many innocent graduates lost their lives, money and other valuable materials is still fresh in my mind. For a very long time FG jobs can ONLY be gotten through nepotism, bribery and man-know-man. When the immigration recruitment began, we thought the FG under the watch of GEJ has embraced transparency. Unfortunately, it further portrayed the cluelessness, lies, nepotism and corruption that this administration is known for. Consequently, my questions for Mr. President and his supporters are: 1. Where is the money of our graduates? 2. What is the outcome of the committee meeting GEJ set up to look into this crucial matter? 3. Have the families of the diseased been compensated with appointments as promised? 4. What happened to the clueless minister who organized this inadvertent recruitment? Goodluck Jonathan should not mistake Nigerian youths (graduates) for fools. 2015 is around the corner and his I-don't-care attitude towards an important matter like this can jeopardize his 2015 ambition. |
yomanovic: I was in Oshogbo in May this year which happens to be my first time in Osun State. Some of my colleagues who schooled there or had visited before were full of praises for Aregbesola for the various projects he has already completed in the first four years if his administration but my brother, I marvel a lot when I see comment from PDP supporting nairalanders who just want omisore in; a man who is known for nothing but ruthless acts in the past. Some even talk about him as if he is untouchable. I just wonder what our present crop of leaders at the federal level have in stock for the future of the nation when a man who was in prison was allowed to contest in an election and yet won. dem camp no know say 'there is God ooo' now!Is it his father's money or his personal money that he used to execute those projects? Somebody is spending public fund and you are clapping for him. Who doesn't know how to spend money that he didn't suffer for? |
peren: I would pm u only if u areI SMH for you. Are these the criteria for the man you want to have sex with or the man who want to marry eventually? So, any slowpoke who happens to be 6ft, well built and light in complexion has automatically becomes your dream man? Sorry to say, but it is either you are deluded or you must be high on some adulterated psycho-medication. |
Splasshhh: Though i am late to this thread, talking abt playing hard to get, I think my matter pass that one now.Tell him indirectly. How you ask? 1. Be nice to him 2. If he lives alone, volunteer to cook for him and please cook a delicious meal. If you don't know, learn from your friends. 3. Jokingly, find out if he has a girlfriend, if he doesn't, you have 95% chances. 4. Get to know his friends and be nice to them too. Chances are there that they will praise you before him 5. Use eye contact to send the message across to him and I promise you that he will be begging for your 'YES' in 3 weeks time. |
The part I hate is when she realizes that your interest in her is deminishing, she would start hanging around street guys to make you get jealous. Funny enough, she is compounding her problems by: 1. Firstly, hanging around street guys is an indication that you are cheap b/c birds of a feather flock together. 2. Secondly, the impression that you already have another guy will kill the little feeling left. |
nonsonnamani: By Chidinmma George...the female love doctor for men. This is simply your opinion and stop preaching as if it is a dogma ( a well established principle). Ask many girls and they will tell you how they trip for guys who are: 1. Above 6ft. 2. Wealthy 3. Educated 4. Out going 5. Influential They don't give a damn if the guy is an armed robber, a drunkard, a woman beater, a cheat, among others. So, what personality nonsense are you talking about? It seems you don't live in Nigeria. The nollywood movies they watch has really affected their brain. |
Every girl has a boyfriend. That is how delusional they can be when they want to play hard-to-get. What makes a lady thinks that I will run after her b/c she told me that she already has a boyfriend. In fact, that impression alone will make the guy lose interest in you. |
kingthreat: Some people are in undeserved positions and Mikel is one of them. Some dumb people support this trend and you are one of them. #antimediocritySince you are God who determines the position someone should attain in life, why didn't you STOP him since 8 years now and still counting? Stop hating! It doesn't pay. |
Nigerians have always wished that Mikel leaves chelsea since 2006. I don't know why the good wage he earns there brings up the venom of hatred in their veins. Since you have crippled your country through hatred, nepotism, tribalism, and religion bigotry, why do you still inter-hate someone who is enjoying his career in another country? He is a snail, he doesn't know how to play football, he is a bench warmer and what have you. Is it your father that owns chelsea? Did he beg Nigeria to play for them? If you didn't invite him, he wouldn't have come. He is now a multimillionaire if not a billionaire and you open your mandibles to call him snail? Before you insult Mikel, ask yourself, "What have I achieved in my chosen career? |
500GP: TELECOMMUNICATIONS - IT'S OBJ THAT USHERED IN PHONES, LAPTOPS, COMPUTER THROUGH FOREIGN INVESTMENTS (INVESTOR ) WITH THIS SERVICE PROVIDERS SPRANG UP.......OBJ ushered in laptop, phones and computer? Are you sure you have passed your SSCE? I wondered why OBJ could not STOP militancy in Niger delta and a scratch face like you will always boast that OBJ could have tackled BOKOHARAM. OBJ also ushered in Jincheng, Keke Napep, 406 peaguot car, Mercedes car and chicken. Oh! I forgot pepsi. NONSENSE! |
500GP: WHAT'S IT TO HATE IN IBO? THERE'S NOTHING TO HATE, ENVY ABOUT YOUR TRIBE, IBO TRIBE IS A WASTE TO HUMAN RACE.Your level of reasoning baffles me. OBJ paved way for Telecommunication? MTN, Airtel and GLO are not Nigerian property. Each of them belongs to an individual or group of individual. Your OBJ simply issued them lincence to operate in Nigeria. Any slowpoke on the street can do that. In doing so, he crippled our NITEL. There was Peace? Are you suffering from amnesia? OBJ used the army to wipe out an entire community in Benue state. Is that peace? He failed to STOP militancy in Niger delta. He almost wiped out the entire people in Odi community. Is that peace? He approached issues by force instead of being diplomat. Sharia law consumed thousands of Nigerians during his regime. What does the word 'peace' means to you? |
500GP: GEJ IS TAKING THE SOUTH LEASTERNERS FOR A FOOL AND THE GULLIBLE LEASTERNERS FALL FOR HIS PLOY.Why are you always suffering from IGBOPHOBIASIS? Your son (Obasanjo) ruled for 8 years. Can you categorically tell us ANY notable infracture that he brought to southWASTEners? Please, in case you don't know, IGBOPHOBIASIS is more chronic than HIV. |
anitank: Ok Mr Chelsea,I know they can't be compared but I still prefer Eto to ur arrogant Drogba anydaywhy did you call Drogba arrogant? Well, Drogba is happily married and his wife is not complaining. You ladies are always looking for spineless coward (mistaken for humble person) who you can control. |
Tallesty1: There is nothing like Unconditional Love. It is just a lie that we like to believe.Another proof |
I have always tried to understand the meaning of the word 'love'. In fact, I am tempted to say, on many occassions, that love doesn't exist. However, I have come to understand that love have different categories. Consequently, after many consultations and findings, it appears that 'genuine (unconditional)' love doesn't exist among human beings. When next she/he tells you,"I love you", don't hesitate to ask him/her, "why do you love me?". Underlisted could be the reason(s) why you love him/her: 1. He/she is beautiful/handsome 2. He/she is educated 3. He/she is wealthy 4. He/she is from your tribe 5. He/she is tall 6. He/she attends your church 7. He/she is generous 9. He/she is humble (sometimes, spineless cowards are mistaken to be humble) 10. He/She is God fearing, among others. Surprisely, I have seen love disappear once he/she loses any of the attributes that attracted you to him/her in the first place. Fellow nairalander, why do you love him/her? Without reservations, do you love him/her unconditionally? |
Maya2pretty: Please what is the duration for the test so I could walk around it in the office, thank you.I am your secret admirer. |
koyyes: You've just buttressed my point further. If a high school drop out can mobilize experts to help actualize his/her dream, imagine what intelligent people like the op can do with his level of exposure. My point is people like him shouldn't limit themselves. He was created for bigger things.Do you have problem with understanding or what? Your type may be writing this trash from a comfortable office. A graduate who can't boast of N1000 should start something with your head I suppose? Do you know that there is time for everything? Do you understand the meaning of the word 'ambition'? If you expect a graduate to take the job of a bus conductor, palm wine tapper, errand boy e.t.c, then something must be wrong with that your thick skull that you call brain. ONLY God Almighty can make something out of nothing. Imagine yourself losing your job and all your money and then tell us here what you would do. If you made 3rd class and managed to get a job through connection or merit, don't laugh at those who have better grades but are still unemployed. The truth is that, intelligence doesn't amount to enterpreneurial potential. |
EngrDozzyMary: yap, nah me...I see, my greetings! |
Nigerians will soon blame Mikel for this. |
bercarray: is okay o,let's see 4 hw long u'll b there, cos i'm not sure wht u guys wld play d nxt world cupNigerians will soon blame Mikel for this. |
Are the opportunities meant for ONLY Engineering graduate and Calabar residents. |
winiwini: MANY THANKSYou are always welcome |
winiwini: Must marry WombMAN be that.... thats who my gal isDon't EVER leave her. Above all always appreciate and adore her. |
In the recent times, many relationships and marriages are not working. Also, many Nigerians who are singles are desperate to go into relationships while those who are married wish they never did. The advent of 21st century marked the end of an epoch in marriage institution in Nigeria and in the world at large as the divine institution automatically transformed in nature and definition and diversified into unlimited groups such as "gay marriage, multiple wedding, co-habitation, white wedding and court wedding". I am a man and would like to advise all the young men in Nigeria to look before they leap. The Bible talked about a virtuous woman, who she is and what her qualities are. Underlisted are the qualities of a morally excellent woman. It is advisable that when you see one, do everything within your power to get her and marry her. Believe me, she worths dying for. The qualities: 1. Respect- A morally excellent woman respects her husband. She does him good all the days of her life. She is trustworthy and helpmeet (Gen. 2:18, 1 peter 3) 2. Faith- A virtuous woman serves God with all her heart, mind, and soul. She seeks His will for her life and follows His ways (Proverbs 31:26-31) 3. Mothering- A morally excellent woman teaches her children the ways of her Father in heaven. She is a mother to both her husband and children. She nutures her children with the love of christ, disciplines them with care and wisdom and trains them in the way they should go (Deut 6, Proverbs 22:6, Luke 18:16) 4. Health/Hygiene- She cares for her body. She prepares healthy food for her family (Proverbs 31:14-15, Proverbs 31:17, Leviticus 11, Daniel 1) 5. Homemaking - A morally excellent woman is a homemaker, she creates an inviting atmosphere of warmth and love for her family and guests. She uses hospitality to minister to those around her (Proverbs 31:15, Titus 2:5, 1Peter 4:9, Hebrews 13:12) 6. Service- A virtuous woman serves her husband, her family, her friends and her neighbours with gentle and loving spirit. She is charitable (Proverbs 31:2, 1Cor. 13:13) 7.Finance- A morally excellent woman seeks her husbands approval before making purchase and spends money wisely. She is careful to purchase quality items which her family needs (Numbers 18:26, Eph. 5:23, Deut. 14:22, Probverbs 31:14-16) 8. Industrious- She works willingly with her hands. She sings praises to God and does not grumble while completing her tasks ( Prov. 31:13-16, Philipians 2:47) 9. Time management- She uses her time wisely. She works diligently to complete her daily tasks. She does not spend time dwelling on those things that do not please God (Eccl. 3, Prov. 16:9, Phil. 4: ![]() 10. Beauty- A morally excellent woman is a woman of worth and beauty. She has the inner beauty that only comes from Christ. ( Isaiah 61:10, Timothy 2:9, I peter 3: 1-6) Please Nigerian men, when God blesses you with such a woman, value her the way you value your life. Adaeze003: He must marry a graduate... Graduates must marry tall men... And the world goes round and round... Lol!very funny situation I must say. If I were him, I would marry an SSCE holder and make her a graduate. However, it seems, the too much Nollywood, Hollywood that our educated ladies watch seriously make them think that what they watch are REALITIES. For Christ's sake they are fictions. For me, 5ft 8inches is a good height anywhere. Although, we can't say he is very tall but he is taller than MANY people, the girl inclusive. |
dridowu: If SSCE holder will give me peace of mind , then count me in but if Ph.D holder will give me war , then count me out.I have tried repeatedly to make him reason like this. I also suggested that the girl can go ahead and obtain her degree after marriage but he didn't buy my idea. I am showing him all the comments here so that he can see that a lot of people corroborate my points. |
dytbabe: *in igbo accent*Thanks for your contribution but why the insult on men? |
He is a fresh graduate i.e B.Sc (Hons). He has completed NYSC and has gotten a small job. However, he is still searching tirelessly for that dream job. Also, he intends to settle down soon. Unfortunately, the girl he is madly in love with turned him down simply because he is 5ft 8 inches in height and the girl in question is 5ft 6 inches. This young man is: 1. Very handsome 2. God fearing 3. Intelligent and smart 4. Industrious 5. Out-going and social After our findings, we discovered that the girl he is in love with was influenced by her friends. According to our source, her friends told her that my guy is just 'average' in height and once she wears her high heels, she will become taller than him. He has taken it upon himself that he MUST marry a graduate but it seem most ladies who are graduates in Nigeria have the same mindset. I have advised him to look for other girls but he said that based on his discussions with many ladies who are graduates, that it appears ALL of them are obsessed with 6ft and above dudes. On the other hand a lot of young girls who are SSCE holders are falling on him like park of cards. He doesn't want to go into relationship with them simply b/c they are not graduates. Is he right with his choice of must-be-a-graduate lady? Should he go ahead and settle down with an SSCE holder? |
