That's unprofessional. Take a look at these ... they don't waste time in letting readers know when the sentence was handed down.... maybe they have to spell it out because their readers are mumus ... can't read between the lines.

Hence the mumu comment! The date is implied in the wording "has (just) sentenced him". They're reporting something that just happened. It would be nice if they said it happened today, but they don't have to because it is implied!

I don't think he has been in prison since 2013, the offence is bailable. Coming from home to court, if he had been in Prison,there wouldn't have been any sentencing then. He should have served his jail term.
