princey83:You are obviously naive. Upon all the 'evidences' against Dominique Strauss-Kahn he walked away a free man in an American court. But then, they had achieved what they set out to achieve with the case, which is to dent his image and make him unelectable as French president. Listen, there is a sinister motive behind this case. Soliciting for sex in America is not a big issue except when they want to make a political capital out of it. A particular cable news anchor was found wandering and soliciting for homosexual sex in New York, his visa was not revoked. He still goes into that country anytime he wishes. Again, the question is, ''why would the organizers of the 'seminar' prevent the wives of the legislators from staying in the same hotel with them, if they were not out for mischief''? |
amaechi1:It could have been anyone. They pointed at anyone they want to point at. That's immaterial. Ask yourself why a married adult, an elected official in his country, a free human being was not allowed to stay with his wife on a so-called trip to the US. Ask yourself what the motive could be. It must have been until they brought out this allegations before dawned on anyone of them that the organizers must have been up to something ab initio. |
For the umpteenth time, NASS should call for thorough investigations of the US embassy in Nigeria with a view to unraveling their actual mission - especially under this current ambassador. If these same guys where accused by the Nigerian government of soliciting homosexual sex on the street of Abuja, you can be rest assured that the same Entwistle wound issue a statement to condemn the Nigerian government immediately and arrange their asylum in the US before 7pm the next day. Why were they not arrested and tried in the US - or why were they not deported as it were? After all the US government has often shown a disdain for diplomatic protocols. Why was their investigation not included a summons to these guys to clarify whatever they claimed they have on them, for complete 2 months? What they aim to achieve with this case is to tarnish the image of the Nigerian legislators - and by extension, the whole country - in view of their role in the homosexual rejection. By now, we should be seeing the House of Representatives reaction summoning the embassy. By now, we should be seeing all the arrangements and collaborations with the US embassy canceled until the conclusion of investigations. Why the Nigeria public and legislature are still thinking these men are the target is not clear. Of course they already know that we like to get busied with sensational headlines without looking at the big picture. |
BlackSeptember:The same people who will believe and spread every wild allegations against persons being accused by their god which are being denied vehemently are the people jumping up everywhere to coverup for their god's spouse on an allegation she has not denied by herself. The court record in question has been in circulation for ages, but has she come to deny it? Only their worshipers do the denying same way they swear on the success of their children that their god has only 2 houses. |
What is most appropriate for them to allow the man to rest very well before coming back. What is most appropriate is for them to explain Buhari's situation to Nigerians truthfully and ask for prayers for his quick recovery. However, the APC and the new cabals might just put him in the plane and bring him back today only for them to 'organize' a 4 day phantom conference for him somewhere in Belarus or Laos or France anywhere like that. The physical strains of taking him back and forth is not good for the body that they are trying to nurture back to health. |
abimic:Your message is not clear, but... It's extreme naivete to demand for proof of an allegation from the American government. They will provide 'proof' if that will 'satisfy' the Nigerian public. They provide 'proofs' as routinely as they can. Remember they normally send their alleged criminals to long jail time with 'concrete proofs' only for the 'real truth' to come out 30, 40 years later, when the innocent must have been rendered useless. For proofs, they can manufacture anything. You are on a very long thing if you are looking for integrity in America concerning sex. America does not have any integrity as far as sex is concerned. Don't let us go there. Their former president was widely supported by their public for his numerous sex with his staff in their White House. Only his political opponents capitalized on it and impeached him in the house, though he was spared from removal from office by their senate. Their public sees nothing wrong with his widely publicized sex with his aids. They hailed him as their hero. As a matter of fact, the lady whose case was used against their national hero was hounded into exile. She couldn't get a job, she almost became a destitute. She had to relocate to the UK because of 'shame'. As you can see, this same man's wife might be rewarded with their presidency in November. It goes to show that they are just on to something else with our guys. What is more? Their biggest celebrity export, a social media/tv reality show sensation is not known to have any special skill or cerebral achievements other than a home sex tape which she exposed to the whole world via the Internet and is being celebrated in their media till today. You are free to travel to America if that's what you want. The message is to Dogara and the NASS generally. Washington is trying to blackmail our political leaders. They know that putting much pressure on them might break them and they start acceding to some nonsense American agenda/demands. Let the NASS members quit going to every so-called capacity building workshops and seminars. Let them organize their seminars in Nigeria or elsewhere. It's not by force they go to America. Or how do you explain a seminar you are attending and your wife and child are not allowed to stay with you in your hotel only for the organizers to come and accuse you of soliciting for sex from car park attendants? Why bar someone's wife and child from staying with him in his hotel room? Is he a slave? is that not slavery? Can they do that to white legislators from Europe? What kind of rubbish is that? Let our NASS people stop getting desperate. They treated them like low-class people and then came to harass them again. What nonsense is that? Why accept that kind of arrangement of family separation from the organizers of the seminar? Why the desperation? It's understandable if they say they (the organizers) won't be responsible for the family's care in the US. In other words, if the Rep guys are to take care of their family tickets and other stuffs. But to outrightly prevent them from staying together is unacceptable. And Dogara must probe deeply and find the reasons for this degrading treatment with a view to asserting the Nigerian family dignity. |
Dogara should treat their f*ckup. Learn from India. They didn't allow any nonsense from the US the other day. They made them pay dearly for their undiplomatic arrogance. A country stands up for its citizens. The only plausible reason the US is going after these guys is to embarrass them because of America's homosexual lifestyle that was roundly voted down. Learn from Russia. Don't let them dictate to you. Nigeria is a sovereign country. Learn from America itself. They won't allow anyone to rubbish their leaders. It wasn't long ago that Dick Cheney, their former vice president (a republican party member) was indicted for the Halliburton bribery scandal in Nigeria. Instead of allowing him to come and clear himself, Hillary Clinton, then the secretary of state (a democratic party member) shielded him. The case died a natural death. Dogara should man up. Stop giving in to their threat/pressure. The worst is to lose an election. They can't do more than that. People have lost elections and heaven hasn't fallen. If these men were found soliciting for homosexual sex in America, nobody would have heard anything. They would have been treated like their heroes. The American government would have promptly co-opted them into their elaborate homosexual spreading programs in Africa. If these guys are allowed to be rubbished like this without a serious fight then the entire government structure of Nigeria is in trouble. Nigeria has a diplomatic presence in Washington DC. Why did they not go through that. Why this unexplained rush to tarnish the image of these guys. Stop soliciting for their programs. Stop attending their workshops and seminars. Stop all this beggarly behavior. Stay in your country. Organize programs for them in Nigeria too. Let them come here and spend their foreign currency. Where is Senator David Mark when you need him most? |
bejeiodus:Baba mi, no one can exhibit what he/she does not possess. It is when you have a plan that you can articulate it. |
PassingShot:You don't need to continue in your folly. Don't destroy yourself defending a monumental failure. It is glaring to even the blind and audible to the deaf. He has been confirmed a failure, both nationally and internationally. We can see the effects of just a '10 working day rest' already. Even nature is cooperative now as evident in the abundant rainfall in this past week. The wasted one year cannot be regained again but Nigeria will pick up the pieces one after another. |
A whole year has been wasted on ancient economic models. The attendant toll on the well-being of Nigerian masses is alarming. It's frightening. |
Truth be told, some Nigerian lawmakers and very uncultured, but we have to remind ourselves that the US government has made it a cardinal objective to get back at Nigeria, and Nigerians - especially the lawmakers - for rejecting their homosexual lifestyle. Dogara should not fall for blackmail easily. A thorough investigation should be instituted. If a man as powerful as the former IMF MD was prevented from leaving the US and was subsequently put in handcuffs because of an alleged rape back then, who are these unfortunate guys from Nigeria that they weren't arrested. Not even questioned. Only for the Ambassador to be making allegations after the fact. PS. There are many Nigerian escorts in the US by the way. |
Only God will save Nigeria too. We are at the most vulnerable time in terms of food security. Sultan of Sokoto just alerted of food shortages in Nigeria this week. Reports also say that severe cases of malnutrition are being reported in some part of the north. For the first time in Nigeria's history, we are going to be fed by the Western nations like Somalia. |
modath:What? This is very very serious. Even the one and only M is lost? Shouldn't we rather ask you? |
It's obvious that the man clearly lacks the capacity to lead Nigeria in 2016. He should be somehow persuaded to resign. He has at least achieved his lifetime ambition. He should be a mentor to his 'groomed' lieutenants now. Only ten days and there seems to be a respite already. |
You finally agreed that Buhari's media trial of suspects is inimical to the development of democracy. It would be of immense benefit to Nigeria if those people who have been accused and denied fair hearing are allowed to defend themselves too, just as Buhari is exercising his legal rights in the courts. |
enigma2007:Not all of them are expecting handouts. If the federal government can pay them what it owes them, many of them will be in good position. There won't be any needs to issue these types of Hammurabi's laws. |
Earth2Metahuman:There's what is called the public sector and private sectors in modern banking, ok? The private sector consists of individuals, businesses and other organizations, ok? The public sector is the government - agencies, parastatals and ministries, ok? No government can operate without the bank, ok? Governments need to collect revenue and banks help collect and keep in safe custody government revenues on daily basis, ok? Money so kept are used to lend to other customers in need of funds (including government), ok? The process is a very sophisticated mechanism called financial intermediation, ok? (You may read up some materials online). Banks provide short-term (and medium-term) funds for their customers, both public (government) and private (individuals and businesses), ok? Banks also provide long term funding for government projects (through contractors) in other times, ok? Governments approach banks for facilities to cover some exigencies in the face of the illiquid positions of government accounts, ok? Hope you understand how things are done in modern societies now. Things have gone way beyond the 13th century Alajo Shomolu banking model you are probably used to. If you need more clarification, you can use the search engines. |
This is an exercise in futility. One of those APC's childish propositions that is entirely un-implementable. Nigeria is a federation governed by the constitution. The state executives and legislatures are all elected by their constituents with different agenda. Each federating unit is accountable to the electorate which elected them. Nigeria does not presently run a sole-administratorship neither are we under the military. This is similar to what Fashola argued when they tried to make his foreign loan applications go through a lesser scrutiny. And that was even a foreign loan to be guaranteed by the sovereign. It was on record that he harassed and blackmailed the federal government of that time. The process of obtaining a loan by the states is very clear. The DMO already has stringent conditions which are being strictly followed. Any attempts to further enlarge Abuja's powers will be duly resisted by the states. How can the federal government dictate prices for states for instance? There's nothing wrong in using moral suassion to encourage the states to get their acts together, but acting like a school principal in a federation is entirely against the spirit and letters of the Nigeria's constitution. And then why is the federal government always rushing to 'offer loans' to states when they can simply pay what they are owing them? |
waice6571:They are not able-bodied men again, they are homosexuals. They are sissies. They have taken away their manhood. They don't see themselves as real men anymore. That's why they are advocating to take away guns from people and turn everyone to sissies too in exchange for false protection by their equally sissy government. |
modath:And you left wings will always be chasing shadows. Instead of focusing on the fundamentalists' ideology, you are diverting people's attention with your rants. It is also because of the ease of acquiring bombs and IEDs that is responsible for suicide bombings all over the world? |
Surfboard:It is important you don't distort facts and stay within the context of the topic. Buhari's WASC is the subject of discussion. |
nwakibie3:They know he doesn't have. They admitted that long ago. Remember they said they couldn't care about WASC. They said he could present even NEPA bill. |
Surfboard:Buhari's affidavit submitted to INEC was about his original WASC with the Secretary of the Military Board. It was not about the WASC/school leaving certificate's equivalent. That was what solicited the response from the military. They did not find Buhari's WASC in their records. They went ahead to produce the only document that faintly relates with Buhari's WASC in his record. It turned out to be a recommendation letter from his former principal 'pledging' that Buhari would pass English, Math and three other subjects. In the midst of all these, Buhari caused the principal of what remains of his former secondary school to 'somehow produce' a result which was widely circulated. He went that extra-mile to prove he wrote WAEC exams in 1961 and not WASC equivalent as you are trying to shift attention. Your 'WASC' equivalent story is therefore not tenable, brother. Why did he not swear that he has WASC equivalent(s). Buhari had since taken office as the president of Nigeria with all the powers of the Commander-in-chief of the armed forces. All he needs to do at this point is ask his lawyers to present his WASC in court and let the case end. |
ceaser:Where did Oyenusi train as a medical doctor? |
Mashkov:Something is definitely wrong with the story baba mi. |
Agbalanze:They don't pair a medical doctor with hardened criminals in Nigerian prison. The story is not constructed well. |
Very hard to believe. A medical doctor turned armed robber? This should not be the end of this story. |
APC is an agent of destruction of all the legacies of our fathers. APC's next destruction is to remove all subsidy on education. Parents should brazen up for heavy payment of tuition for tertiary education of their wards in public universities. Only the rich will be able to train their wards when they are done. The signs are there. Buhari said only those who can afford higher education abroad should access forex through the parallel market. |
The difference between light and darkness is so clear. One man calls for the blood of baboons and dogs, justifies carnage and bloodshed in the name of region and religion, not on record to offer any assistance in dealing with terrorism, mocks the military alliances, supports foreign governments' humiliation of our security agencies in their efforts to procure arms and ammunition to combat mass murderers. Another man calmly walks in to offer his unflinching supports for his country during a very trying period of renewed hostilities on our national assets. |
obailala:Don't worry, we will blame the PDP for 'massive looting'. |
What if he had visited Lagos or Dakar? |
