tobtap: Scammer! How did Imam Buhari build them? Did you read where it said NNPC acquired one of them from Shell and another one built in 1988? If he built anyone at all, it's likely Kaduna refinery which must have been as a result of his Northern hegemonic interest. Just like his priority currently is to explore oil in the Chad Basin. |
Abacha stove is on the way! Relax, Imam Buhari is bringing 'change'. Abacha was Buhari's role model. |
M4gunners:She's going to be representing Obasanjo's interest in Imam Buhari's government perhaps. |
Forwetinnah:That's what they do because they are not being thoroughly grilled by the 'ever friendly' Nigeria media They are experts at monologues and bully pulpit tactics; never can sustain any intellectual engagement without diatribe. This is the same woman who doesn't know the difference between Excess Crude Account and External Reserve - despite being an accountant. |
Tokotaya:Politics (from Greek: πολιτικός politikos, definition "of, for, or relating to citizens" is the practice and theory of influencing other people. More narrowly, it refers to achieving and exercising positions of governance — organized control over a human community, particularly a state. Furthermore, politics is the study or practice of the distribution of power and resources within a given community (a usually hierarchically organized population) as well as the interrelationship(s) between communities.A variety of methods are employed in politics, which include promoting and or forcing one's own political views among people, negotiation with other political subjects, making laws, and exercising force, including warfare against adversaries. Politics is exercised on a wide range of social levels, from clans and tribes of traditional societies, through modern local governments, companies and institutions up to sovereign states, to the international level. It is very often said that politics is about power.[1] A political system is a framework which defines acceptable political methods within a given society. History of political thought can be traced back to early antiquity, with seminal works such as Plato's Republic, Aristotle's Politics and the works of Confucius. Formal Politics refers to the operation of a constitutional system of government and publicly defined institutions and procedures.[1] Political parties, public policy or discussions about war and foreign affairs would fall under the category of Formal Politics.[1] Many people view formal politics as something outside of themselves, but that can still affect their daily lives.[1] Informal Politics is understood as forming alliances, exercising power and protecting and advancing particular ideas or goals. Generally, anything affecting ones daily life. The way an office or household are managed, or how one person or a group exercise influence over another.[1] Informal Politics is typically understood as everyday politics, hence the idea that "politics is everywhere".[1] http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics What is her profession? What has she been doing with her #bringbackourgirls? |
A politician, political leader, or political figure (from Classical Greek πόλις, "polis" is a person who is involved in influencing public policy and decision making. This includes people who hold decision-making positions in government, and people who seek those positions, whether by means of election, inheritance, coup d'état, appointment, conquest, or other means. They create and or propose laws that further the general interest of the public. Politics is not limited to governance through public office. Political offices may also be held in corporations. In civil uprisings, politicians may be called freedom fighters. In media campaigns, politicians are often referred to as activists. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politician They have been deceiving themselves for ages, calling themselves TECHNOCRATS just create a phantom superior edge over some people. Yet these people don't know their left from their right. Pray, how did Obiageli Ezekwesili become a minister without being a politician? |
Who are the people on both teams? Don't they have names? Apart from Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala no one else was mentioned. The article is filled with 'Citi this, Standard Chartered that', what are we to do with that? Who are the 'economists' Buhari sent to the meeting? Are they also Sharia compliant economists like Sanusi Lamido Sanusi who made sure he presided over the loss of over 15,000 jobs in the financial sector simply because he has some personal grudges against the promoters of those institutions? Are we to brace up for more of Sharia-like economic management from the Chief Imam's team? |
What position have they offered this woman in Buhari's government? Why is she defending Imam Buhari at the risk of her career? Everyone in this world knows Imam Buhari's antecedent concerning freedom of speech, Buhari himself did not even try to hide it when asked before now. These are the type of women who just put their reputation on the line. Is she the spokesperson for AIT? What authority does she have to be saying this? Is it because she thinks speaking Hausa is enough to get her way in an Hausa government? |
funkiebully: One of Imam Lai Mohammed's apprentice just trying to get freedom. He will still go and learn some more. |
Imam Buhari should also take a look at allegation of Sanusi's blatant corruption at the CBN. The alleged looting of the treasury by Sanusi; N1b paid to "security firms", over N4b "donated" to Bayero University, Kano, N5b paid to Nasir EL-Rufai and several billions in flight tickets, etc. For Buhari not to be seen as a Fulani president probing only non-Fulani Nigerians, he should also look into these allegations as well. As a matter of fact, these were the allegations being probed by the government that made Sanusi to raise his own counter allegations of $49b, $10.9b and later $20b. Imam Buhari should prove us his critics wrong this time around and act impartially since these allegations are also documented. In the same manner, he should be non-selective and probe Emir Sanusi's alleged involvement in FUNDING TERRORISM. This is also documented. Emir Sanusi should be made to prove his innocence in court. |
alpha and omega Muhammadu Buhari only has some malnourished cows to show in 30 years. How do you expect his to know that there are better silos to store grains in this modern times? He has only excelled in religious bigotry, you can't point to anything he has done positively. Buhari has not done anything to improve himself, not even going back to Katsina College to complete his abandoned secondary school education. For 30 years, the guy has been lazying about, 'check the back of someone who promised you a clothe'. |
Tam David-West was sacked for corruption by Babangida. Timipre Sylvia is being prosecuted for massive looting of Bayelsa State by the EFCC (He heads the inauguration committee of Buhari) |
APC and gimmickry... siemese twins... They brought a prototype modern train to someone whose preferred means of transportation is Camel? Check out their 'achievements' on 'railway revolution' in Nigeria. It started in the '80s. The last time Buhari had anything to do with Nigeria's rail system, he cancelled Jakande's light-rail project in Lagos and foolishly paid millions of Nigeria's scarce foreign exchange as compensation for the cancelation. The last time the Chinese had something to do with Nigerian rail system, they pocketed millions of dollars without even putting any single iron-bar on the ground anywhere. The last time an APC government in Lagos had anything to do with rail, it embarked on a seeming 'white elephant' blue-line, red-line rail project with current indebtedness standing at over $1b and without a known completion date. The ever talkative 'performing' governor has simply stopped talking about that 'dream'. Oh, recall they brought some real Tokunbo coaches from Canada. The last time the APC government in Rivers State talked about rail, it was on an abandoned multi billion naira waste on a 'political' monorail which full capacity is a mere 36 passengers (assuming it was even completed). |
ruffDiamond:Yet, the first good thing ever that your god, Buhari, will do in life is winning an election at 72. And they just even have to conspire and put him there somehow so that the slaughtering of innocent Nigerians in the North will stop. |
aresa:1, 3, 2, 3... You can't even count well... Buhari's lack of proper education is rubbing off already? Most Buhari's supporters are either not educated or have incomplete schooling like him... |
Yemi Osinbajo's name was dropped by a fraudster to defraud his victim. Yemi Osinbajo the erstwhile Lagos State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General... Yemi Osinbajo is current Vice President-elect of Nigeria under a "change" sloganeering party... Hope all is well... |
Patrick Fernandez - Indian This alone should raise a flag... But, he is not in the fraud alone, it's a system racketeering, they should pursue others... Other Nigerians in the group... |
Utchman1:Okocha is not bothered about the law. He's bothered about his sister getting to the Chief Judge position. There's always a way. If Wike could engineer a Supreme Court judgement that made Amaechi governor without contesting, how will he not know what to do to get himself sworn-in legally by May 29th? Watch and see. |
This is how they will put their Imam into real trouble. Calculating some bogus revenue figures for the Imam who is yet to pass his O'Level Mathematics (his principal only assured us he would pass) and giving him some false hopes will soon be a big trouble for the guy. This same woman challenged an egg-head to a debate the other day, it turned out that she couldn't differentiate between Excess Crude Account and External Reserve. And she's one of the 'chartered accountants' being relied on by Imam Buhari for guidance. Even after posts on posts have tried to correct her on this bogus revenue claims, she's still going shamelessly on and on. One chance indeed. |
jayuuk:Why didn't you call for revolt when Buhari could not present the most basic qualification and was cleared by the same INEC to contest? |
The same INEC cleared Muhammadu Buhari without requisite qualification to contest election. Remember some people said he should present 'NEPA' bill as certificate. Buhari has been presented with a certificate of return to by INEC. No outrage like this on that shamelessness. Is that not corruption? Is that not double standard? |
All public officials are mandated to declare their assets. There's no way you can be an appointed or elected government official without declaring your assets. The contention is the PUBLIC DECLARATION started by late President Yaradua. But has anyone bothered to assess Yaradua's assets before and after that POLITICAL DECLARATION? |
demandtruth:It's called conspiracy. When Buhari found out plans to overthrow his government in 1985 what did he do? |
kingjoo:Even that is part of the conspiracy. Some people are planted in the social media as youth, to dismiss anything from people like Doyin Okupe. We will know the truth soon. |
What is controversial about this? It's a grand conspiracy, pure and simple. The girls were taken and guided to their 'kidnap'. Early stories about the 'kidnap' was that the 'soldiers' were friendly. Then the stories started changing. And the 'movement' started getting foreign attention. Then the blackmail by Ezekwesili and her group. And we are where we are. The truth will come out one day. |
ShowYourCertificate:It's a four-year mandate. Will you start removing thousands of kilometers transmission powerline already installed by Jonathan just to boost your EGO? The same bad decisions they pushed Yaradua into that led to major policy reversals. |
theV0ice:And Yaradua reversed Obasanjo's railway reforms. He even paid the Chinese huge sums in dollars as penalty for canceling the contracts. Jonathan started afresh. |
APC - Change! |
And they have been boasting that they won't do any ZONING. What is this one called now? Change? |
Savages! Like Boko Haram like South Africans. The Zulu King wants to be one of Time 100 most influential like his blood sucking Shekau. |
Their god, Nelson Mandela, sold them out to their white slave owners for eternity and they have nothing to do than take out their anger on blacks who risked everything to liberate them. |
Fourwinds:That was subjected to judicial interpretation and the court held that there was no division in PDP. There's a subsisting court judgment on that. |
