As pessimistic as this man is about this Buhari govt he does paint the true grim picture of the truth. Perhaps we were only sold a pipe dream in exchange for our votes. We can't afford to get in wrong in the next election. But who can get it right? Donald Duke? Fashola? Okonjo Iweala? Osinbajo? Fashola? Peter Obi? Or Tara's hubby? |
princechurchill:Last I heard, he retired right? Have you heard of any investment he made since then? Eboue was balling hard too in his prime remember? When will blacks learn? Only few get it. |
Oh dear. Funny how one crime/sin starts a chain reaction of other crimes/sins. Like a Ripple effect on a calm water. The domino's effect is laughable yet so grave. His first sin started as simple as most likely lusting after another woman. Then followed by an innocent act of lying to his wife, then it gravitates to cheating on his wife (adultery). Now this probably continued for some time (cos said mistress got preggy). Now to cover up his "mess" and save himself from the shame and humiliation of his wife and congregation not to mention the pastor counterparts, the devil having magnified the outcome in his head finally plants one tiny little seed into his head... Why not just kill her and watch all your problems disappear?? He's dishevelled, disoriented, discombobulated, lonely... and so far gone. Probably can't even pray again cos of the heavy dark shadow of guilt that envelopes and encapsulates him whenever he shuts his eyes in prayers.. Now all he needed to do was remember Romans 3:23-24 Confess his sins to God and his wife and Deal with the outcome. Yes he'll probably be expelled as a pastor, probably even be divorced by his wife. But he would have found an inner peace, found hope and confidence in Jesus and probably saved lives. (his, the mistress' and her unborn) But it's never too late, that's the Grace that abounds in God, through Christ. I pray he finds peace and reunion with God. |
Black man's curse is to Keep acquiring liabilities and blowing his trumpet while the white man invests in assets playing real life monopoly with properties.. I see another MC Hammer protégé. |
aaronson:Do you really have to say the meanest things just for Likes? |
vlogger:I'll only feel insulted if you didn't get paid for this comment. Cos otherwise your lot are what's holding Nigeria back. To say you like a senator for his dance moves rather than his works. when he has nothing to show for his new office is ridiculous, to say the least. |
Nice writ OP. Sorry it fell short of your expectation. Nigeria still sucks at this. Tourism being a major source of IGR for countries with less nature's wonders than ours. This threads brings goose bumps and shrills of nostalgia as Ikogosi is probably my most vivid memory as a kid. Unlike OP I had no expectation (as a kid) also because if was perhaps a business/pleasure trip for my dad and his Korean business partners and we just had to tag along. My first memory was the hysteria of witnessing a naturally springing hot water from underground. And as a curious kid, I would have dug that ground to find the source too. Unfortunately it's also memorable cos it was my first travel sickness which nearly ruined the whole experience. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse I got cut by a broken tile inside the pool (really wish I sued). It would have been a bad experience but for the great company of my typical Nigerian family ogling at the Korean aliens lol while my bad-mouthed cousin steadily always found fault in everything they did. It was fun after all. Hopefully one day soon, we'll start getting it right. I really hope Nigerians would take the bull by the horns this coming elections and demand for our choice leaders and not those enforced on us. |
terrezo2002:1John 4 says it all. Test the spirits, False prophets, Antichrist. John 8:32 "and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." Growing up as a child, we were taught there's either a Truth or A Lie. If you weren't telling the truth you were lying. But as adults we've come to realise it's not always so. There are grey areas between the black and white. The same exoerience/occurence/situation yet different perceptions/interpretation. A wife complains her husband does not love and care for her because he's not always available for her. The husband believes his love and care for her drives and motivates him to work late to enable him provide for her and the family. Both expressing love yet, it is misconstrued as if the love wasn't there. Where am I driving at? The big question really is What is the Truth? Is the Bible the Truth? Is experiencial evidence the Truth? It gets complicated here because they are both Truths. But one is the Greater, Truer, Purer, more Perfect Truth- The Bible. The gospel of Jesus Christ, the message of Love and Grace of God through Redemption that is in Christ Jesus. It is never an outdated, inferior knowledge. It has only suffered perversion and misinterpretation and wrong teaching. It is forever the Superior Divine Word of God who was, is and is to come (Timeless). Even the knowledge we're not yet exposed to is embedded in it. You just have to Ask for the Holy Spirit, Seek Him and Knock to be freely Given, to Find and have all your needs Opened on to you. I pray we all find the Truth in the name of Jesus, Amen. |
Dear wailers we Buharists officially apologize for this mess. |
humanbeing4th:It's not spiritual at all, you're just broke! Hustle hard, you'll never lose women chasing the cheese. PS: You can also ask one of your female friends (if you got one) she'll be more upfront with you. |
sexybbstar:Lucky you. Cos once you go street there's no going sweet. Lol basically once you go black you can't go back. Been trying to filter my playlist for a while now but always end up rushing back to the uncontrollable sounds of the street. |
karli4nia:Too boring. I yawned like 10 times b4 the 1 minute mark. For a Corrs fan I would suggest Breathless or Runaway. Thank me later. |
sexybbstar:O.0 ITs everywhere in Lagos, clearly you're outside lag. |
MISSCONGENIALITY:Mos def. You just have to be social media intelligent to know how to deal with trolls. Some you just gotta ignore, some you have to shut down with an epic comeback, others you just gotta block. |
MISSCONGENIALITY:Chisos! You harsh oh. Lool |

Disclaimer: Errr If you can't do the "Shaku-Shaku" dance kindly move to the next post, cos this is clearly not for you. And in the famous words of Small Doctor, "If You No Get Money... (Well you know the rest). Now, I believe that makes you reading this either "Omo Shepeteri" or "Science Student". (dodges pure water lol) The music industry is presently abuzz right now with a new bust of energy from the Streetz of Nigeria, especially the centre of excellence, Lafiaji (in Vector's voice). It's taken over the mainland and island and evidently beyond. It's suddenly Cool to tell your clique "I Rep The Streetz" without raised eye brows. Like How did this happen? When did this transition take place?? Who are the "Expendables" of the Streetz ![]() Olamide aka Badoo practically took... https://pressplay411./2018/02/04/212/ |

Honestly the best thing that happened to the average guy is the Internet age.
So many opportunities if you stay in the know. Nice one op. |
Femi Adesina keeps testing our patience with every attempt to humanise the president. I can't blame him it's his job, he has a family to feed. But in his defense of the President's lacklustre response to the spate of menace and carnage being wreaked by the Fulani herdsmen, he foolishly pleaded with Nigerians not to attribute it to the President being Fulani himself. What then shall we attribute it to sir? Oh I forgot, let's blame Jonathan yet again. To add insult to injury, a dim-witted, unintelligent, quasi-nomadic numskull actually had the effrontery to blame Nigerians reaction on too much consumption of Maggi (no sir, you didn't read that wrong, same maggi spice)That's not even the height, She even further justifies these killings by asserting that Fulanis in fact value Cattle lives more than their own lives. Please Do these people deserve then to share the same SKIN with the Human race? If this is in fact their orientation. Please 2019 is too far. |
mhisbliss:You didn't catch your sub? Read first paragraph again. |
mhisbliss:He's not wrong though. Girls are in fact attracted to money, though not all. That said @Poster as she asked, hope your sudden loss of appetite for the curves is not because you're now sexually attracted to men? If not (and I strongly hope) you're safe. Two things are involved. -You've over-indulged yourself sexually and now losing your sex drive. -You're frustrated about certain developmen(s) in your life. Perhaps school or unemployment or family issues, maybe even craving the intimacy you can't get from masturbation and porn. So you need to evaluate this and take proactive measures to solve it. Life's too short to shut down. |
hugelyendowed:Both are viable businesses. Unlike those advising you to try both at once I'll suggest you start with one. Managing a business isn't child's play especially when you're doing it by proxy. So the choice is dependent on which you can provide better service at. Do you have good barbers at your disposal? Who can provide neat next to Next cut? Do you have good hands that can provide good service at clean neatly packaged laundry service? Your answer should help you in your decision. Entrepreneurahip is the way to go especially considering lack of job security besides your salary will look like a week's earning in the nearest future. Wish you all the best. |
Hopechi44:Nigerians are terrible at statistics. Where did they get the indices and how did they come about the percentages? This is not informative at all. It's just a skeletal work. |
adepeter26:It's been a journey since I made this post. I've sought and found deeper meaning of God and being a Christian. Speaking in tongues is scriptural. Mark 16:17 I pray for more knowledge and understanding of the spirit upon you. Human intellect can only take us far, Building our spiritual senses is equally important. |
brandonobi:Speaking in tongues is scriptural. Mark 16:17 |
ITbomb:While it's likely some churches profane the spiritual tongue, it's impossible really to know. I believe in speaking in tongues now. It's scriptural. I pray for more knowledge and understanding for us all. |
adepeter26:I pray you find more knowledge. Speaking in tongues is real |
