obembet:When it comes to claims payments, MUTUAL BENEFITS has integrity... |
Third party claims insurance works in Nigeria... I have paid lots of third party claims.. I work for Mutual Benefits Insurance.. As long as your claims isn't fraudulent (companies do their due intelligence too).. Mutual Benefits Insurance pays claims, and a lot of good insurance companies out there makes claims too. Just make sure you're purchasing your Third party insurance from an insurance company, most of the third parties from licensing offices are fake.. If finance isn't a problem, I'd always advise a Comprehensive car insurance..that way, you're protecting(insurance) your car and at the same time protecting the other road users.. |
On my 12.5kg cylinder, its written "tested 07/2017"...hope I'm safe?? I bought it April of 2018 though |

IbnBattuta1960:Most of these government offices do not have up to date Insurance |
dammywapes:It's medium sized..2.5 KVA I think... Used to power my small fridge back in the days when it was still new... nowadays if I connect blender, you'll hear the sound change for the gen.. I don't want to spend huge on repairs and still not be able to power up stuffs that's why I'm opting to get a new one. Thank you |
obisite:Thank you.. I'll consider this in my options... I appreciate |
obisite:Thank you. I'll check out the Tigmax6800... What's the KVA and will it be able to power my freezer and other basic gadgets |
dammywapes:He said with his workmanship/ servicing and changing some other things I don't know the name.. Even with engine change, it won't power my freezer That's why I'm opting for a new generator Thank you |
Good afternoon everyone. Please I need ideas on the type of gen to get. I currently have an elepaq SV2200( that's what written on it) it's been giving me issues recently(fuel.and oil consumption is very high) and the repairman asked me to buy half engine and fix it for like #40k in total.. I am a lady so I'm skeptical about artisans(never had a good experience with them, so I want to get a bigger gen that can power my freezer and 6kg twin tub washing machine as these are the basic things I need power supply for. My budget is between 70/80k. Thank you |
mascot87:You're welcome |
mascot87:I'm a Lady.. :-D Annuity payout is usually huge, maybe that's why it's taking time(not making an excuse for them) but three weeks(after claims documents) is still on track though.. Most insurance companies pay up three to Five weeks after Discharge voucher(company's policies differs) Please send them one final mail...if you can get the mail of the managing director, executive director, you can send, and copy them... Let them know you're keeping records and you're not going to hesitate to go to higher bodies.. That should make them sit up Sorry about the inconveniences. |
Hi. Sorry about the demise of your mom. I think I can be of help. But I need to ask a few questions? 1.When was the insurance policy bought? 2.Was her policy up to date before her death? Life insurance policy is different from other type of insurance, you have to be up to date, i.e, if you got a year life insurance policy on Jan 1st, 2020, it will expire Dec 31st, 2020...not Jan 1st 2021. Absence of prompt payment is the main reason why claims become an issue.. 3. What was the course of death? If she died as a result of a pre existing medical condition like Diabetics, hypertension, cancer or any other terminal illness that she didn't disclose at the point of purchasing of the Life insurance policy, her claims after death might be denied. If all terms and conditions were strictly adhered to on your end, then you have a right to involve the right body...You can send an email to NAICOM or go to their office. A claim delayed is a claim denied. You can ask any other questions for clarification.. |

I'm not close with my mom... We don't fight, we just didn't bond (Like a mom/ daughter should) Our phone calls are usually short and straight to the point, but she isn't like that with my sisters, they are so close sometimes that I feel like a dog in the wheel, and that's akward.. But I love her and I respect her, we maintain Mutual respect and understanding for each other(especially now that I'm raising my own daughter)...Plus I noticed, she's making efforts to bond with her grandkids more.. |

I didn't want to pick up the Insurance sales person job initially but I thank God I did, it was hard initially because it's a strictly commission based job. But it's not bad as people say. Nigerians are getting awareness and are really buying the insurance savings policy( a policy that you can insure your life and save up money at the same time). Even with as little as 2500, you can buy a life assurance policy.. I'm happy Nigerians are gradually warming up to Insurance Insurance sales man job is for people that believe growth is a gradual process.. |
wow. Cheating is bad, but bringing it down to your matrimonial home is another level of indecency/ insensitivity. Infact, I'm short of words. it's not your business, but do everything you can to avoid all of them, including the husband, cos women can be funny...( seen cases of where the wife will eventually point accusatory fingers at innocent guy that he wants to have an affair, bla bla). If Steve were to be someone you roll with, my advice would have been different.. @ fykes |
initiate:A counsel represented me once and I paid him.. subsequent hearing, he didn't attend on my behalf and I didn't either...so apart from the first payment to the lawyer, I didn't spend anymore money. I only went after the divorce has been granted to pick up the verdict. PS. I don't want to continue with the thread so I'll appreciate if no one quotes me again. You can ask me via mail though. thank you |
bukatyne:I'm officially and happily divorced now and I have my peace of mind... I heard he's married too now.. I have my daughter who is heaven sent and I'm happy. Thanks for asking ma'am |
